As he walked through the bookshelves to find the woman librarian, he had to marvel at all the different varieties of books that he passed by. He couldn't even imagine himself being able to read all the books that were in this library in his lifetime and knowing that there were bigger libraries here, in Haven online, blew his mind away.
"All that knowledge," he mused, skimming his fingers along the edges of the books. "It would be hard to pass upon." One day, he decided, after he was living a comfortable life, he would spend his time leisurely traveling to all the different libraries in this world, so he could read to his heart's content. 
She was a truly lovely girl from the beastmen race, from her ears and tail he could tell that she was a half deer. She had long, snow-white hair that flowed over her delicate shoulders, her leaf green eyes were focused on her task while her pink saccharine lips were pursed in concentration. 
Xinya politely cleared his throat to gain her attention but, sadly, it was of no use, she was too absorbed in what she was doing. Since the first approach didn't work, he said in a loud clear voice, "Excuse me, miss."
The sound of his voice must have startled her because the book she was holding slipped through her hands and she almost fell off the step ladder she was on. Bracing herself against the shelf, she took a calming breath before looking at him.
"Oh me, oh my, I didn't notice you there. You scared me witless." The woman said. "Would you be a dear and hand me that book I dropped."
Xinya was happy to comply, if she really had fallen, he probably would have had to catch her and just thinking about having to touch her made his skin crawl. "Here you go, ma'am."
"Well, aren't you a polite thing, but I'm still too young to be called a ma'am. People in these parts call me Ms. Wynter. On the account that I was born in winter, you see." Ms. Wynter said cheerfully.
"Alright, Ms. Wynter, then," Xinya replied.
"So how can I help you, young man?" She asked curiously.
"Well, it's about Shilvak." Xinya watched as Ms. Wynter's smile disappeared, only to give him a complex look. "I think you may know something about him."
Putting the book she was holding away, her face turned serious. "Before I say anything, may I ask why you want to know about him."
"The reason is that I want to become a combat potion maker, just like him," Xinya replied.
"And you think you have what it takes?" She asked while looking him up and down in disbelief.
Xinya didn't like the doubt he saw in her eyes, so he said with all the confidence he could muster, "Yes, I do."
Quest Triggered!!
Once Xinya saw the notification, he knew his action was right. The woman got down from the ladder she was on and stood a step away from him. She gazed at him with penetrating eyes, as if checking for something, it reminded him of how Melvin looked at him when he first asked to be an artisan.
"I see you are sincere in your desire to be a combat potion maker, please follow me," she says.
Xinya followed her to a seating area located behind an alcove, instead of the expected table and chairs, there were two chaise chairs, separated only by a small glass table. Wynter sat in one, making herself comfortable while motioning for him to do the same.
"When I was younger," She started when she saw that he was sitting. "I also wanted to be a combat potion maker. Shilvak was my hero, you see, he saved hundreds of thousands in the great monster war. Not only with his healing potions, but also with his combat ones. I wanted to be just like him, but one day he just disappeared. No one knows what happened to him."
Xinya's attention was caught, "Did you ever figure it out?"
"I had my speculations, but could never be sure." She replied sadly.
"That's too bad," Xinya said.
A reminiscent smile appeared on her face, "I remember being so happy when I learned that he left a manuscript of all his adventures and of how he created his potions, but then something happened. His apprentice destroyed most of the copies and hid the original. He didn't want the masses to obtain so freely something that took him so much dedication in learning. So, he divided each book into two parts and hid them in different places around the world. After years of researching, I found that one of the places is hidden near Bellport. I wanted to look for it myself but have come to realize that I am too old. But, looking at you, I think you will be able to find the first half of the book. All I ask is that, once you find it, you allow me to read it."
"Of course, I will. It's the least I could do." Xinya replied sincerely.
Quest has been created. Wynter has always wanted to be a combat potion maker but, due to her age and fighting skills, finding Shilvak's manuscript would be hard. But she thinks that you have potential. So, she is willing to impart upon you her knowledge, the only thing she asks is to see the book once you finish reading it. *Quest is sharable.

This book is a continuation of "Harry Potter and the cursed child". I wanted to make a continuation of that book because I felt that she left out a lot of information that could have been added, even though I'm not using Albus as the main character I'm still filling in information that wasn't in the book. I indeed was thinking of adding a ship that I do enjoy into my series of "Hogwarts untold stories" but I thought not to because for some causes it would ruin the books for some people so I'm leaving that out.
I will have parts of the book that J.K Rowling had in the cursed child book in here to make the storyline more believable. 
Please do not hate on my project. I'm trying my best to make this story good. I have enough drama with school and I don't want online drama as well. 
I hope you all enjoy ready this as I did making it.

After taking out the trash, Ling PingAn returned to the bookstore.
He looked at the time and saw that it was only slightly past 8:00 o'clock in the morning.
He pulled out his phone. The game that he had downloaded the day before opened its servers in a few hours.
"I'm so bored…" He grumbled to himself as he sat back down at the counter.
He was stuck in a rut.
He had just finished a book.
And he couldn't think of anything to write about for a new book.
If his past experiences were anything to go by, he probably wouldn't be able to think of anything for at least ten days to two weeks.
Then, once he started writing, he'd drag out the process for another two months or so before uploading it.
Oh, well.
Life was just so boring.
"Maybe I should go online to read some news and get some inspiration..." He opened the web and began to scroll through news reports on various web sites.
It was a pity that ever since the world had moved into the Internet era, the sort of content that the media put out had dropped in quality by quite a bit.
In order to increase output, increase the attention it garnered, and, of course, to increase the amount of money they made, many major web sites and news platforms had completely erased any of the boundaries that they used to maintain.
WeChat Read had originally become famous as a web site that behaved as a government watchdog and kept track of any illegal activities or unethical actions.
But now, as WeChat Read had gone after an increasing number of young, newsworthy celebrities, everyone who posted was just churning out post after post.
There would be a few international news topics or major social commentaries that would make it onto the list of trending topics every day.
But the large majority of trending topics were dedicated to young, newsworthy celebrities.
The stories were either as ridiculous as what kind of makeup someone was wearing or sometimes one of them would put up a post on WeChat Read themselves.
Then their fans would go to war with one another, proudly plastering the post all over the platform.
But, seriously, who on earth really wanted to know about who was wearing what makeup or who was still working even when they were running a high fever?
Never mind all the the ridiculous, idiotic wars between the various fans.
When he thought about all this cr*p, Ling PingAn made a face and sighed out loud.
Then, just at this moment, he spotted a trending topic that interested him, and his eyes lit up.
The topic was labelled The Quarrelsome Big Sisters.
He clicked on it and immediately became excited when he saw what it was all about.
"When are they airing this?"
"They'd better air this as soon as possible!"
"I just love watching these pretty older ladies try to outsmart each other with their words and exchange poisonous remarks!"
"Fight! Fight! Fight!"
...
While Ling PingAn was focusing on reading about the new program that was getting a lot of attention online, a sanitation vehicle had quietly appeared in front of his store.
A few men wearing garbagemen clothing got out of the vehicle. They were behaving like suspicious thieves as they peered around cautiously before quickly carrying the trashcan that sat outside Ling PingAn's store and dumping it into the vehicle.
Then they swiftly climbed back into the vehicle, stepped on the accelerator, and disappeared into the distance.
After several miles, some police cars appeared from several directions and escorted this sanitation vehicle as it drove to the Federal Armed Forces Laboratory on the outskirts of Jiangcheng City.
The Federal Armed Forces Laboratory was heavily guarded on all sides.
Armed soldiers surrounded the entire place both inside and outside to make certain that nobody was able to enter.
The sanitation vehicle entered the compound and proceeded all the way to the deepest part of the laboratory.
After that, Situ He led a group of the Blackguards to take charge of the situation.
Blackguard Major-General Situ He proceeded to hop into the back of the sanitation vehicle and open that trashcan.
He pulled out the entire trash bag from the can. It was filled to the brim with all sorts of takeout boxes. The food that had remained inside the boxes had already started to smell bad.
He checked the color, size, and shape of this trash bag a few times.
Then Situ He passed the bag to a man in a white lab coat.
"Scholar Zeng, I'll have to trouble you," he requested very politely. "I hope we can get results as soon as possible!"
The man wearing a white lab coat was the person in charge of this laboratory, as well as a top scholar, Zeng Jing.
When it came to the analysis of and research about psionic power, Zeng Jing was definitely one of the best scholars in the Federal Empire.
The moment Zeng Jing took the plastic bag from Situ He, he frowned.
As luck would have it, the person giving the bag to him was Situ He, a Blackguard Major-General of the Federal Empire.
Otherwise, Zeng Jing would have suspected that someone was trying to prank him.
But even so, Zeng Jing remained rather displeased when he saw the contents of the trash bag. "Major, are you trying to insult me?"
When he'd looked into the trash bag he was holding, he'd seen that it was full of leftover food, some empty drink bottles, takeout boxes, and disposable cutlery.
Most important, all of these things were giving off a smell that made him feel like puking.
It only took one whiff to know that this bag had garbage that was days old.
"I really can't explain things to you right now." Situ He knew that he was being rather disrespectful, but there was nothing he could do about it. He tried his best to explain the relevance of the bag and the importance of his request. "There may be secrets hiding inside this bag. I sincerely hope that you could help me to analyze everything inside to see if there's anything of interest hidden in there."
Zeng Jing looked at Situ He's expression and finally nodded his head, but he didn't seem to be taking this whole thing very seriously. "In that case, Major, please wait an hour for me to check it out."
With that, he carried the trash bag toward the elevator of the laboratory.
He got into the elevator and went straight down to Basement 10.
Once the doors opened on Basement 10, he passed the trash bag to one of his lab staff and instructed him, "This is the item that Major Situ wants an analysis of, so please quickly analyze and test everything inside. Then you need to write up a report for him."
As an expert in the study of psionic power in the Federal Empire, Zeng Jing had way too many things to attend to.
Because of the high volume of his work, he would pass work that wasn't as important to the lab staff working for him.
He focused his own energy and attention on the most important piece of technology in the field of psionic power in the Federal Empire: the practical use of psionic weapons.
He wanted to harness the wild and difficult psionic power so that it could be used by humans.
And so Zeng Jing just gave instructions to his staff about the garbage bag and didn't think about it anymore. He went back to his own part of the lab.
After about 30 minutes had passed, just as Zeng Jing had become completely focused on observing a sample under his microscope, the phone started ringing very urgently.
He frowned slightly and rejected the call immediately.
That was because his experiment had reached a very important stage.
Its success or failure depended on the next sample of psionic power he cultivated.
But before he could sit back down, the phone started ringing again.
This time, Zeng Jing got really angry. He picked up the phone and asked, "What is the matter? Don't you know that I'm in the midst of an experiment?"
A nervous but excited voice came over the phone, "Scholar Zeng, you'd better come and have a look!
"I think…
"I think I might have discovered a Fire Maker with psionic powers among the things that you brought into the lab earlier…"
Zeng Jing's eyes suddenly grew wide when he heard these words.
A Fire Maker!
That was the name that the field of psionic power research called the bottleneck between psionic powers and making items with Spirit Aura useful.
During ancient times, people were ignorant until the first Fire Maker made fire by drilling wood. That truly kicked off the start of human civilization.
So the researchers decided to call the key to breaking through this bottleneck a Fire Maker.
This was both a tribute to the first Fire Maker and a hope for their work to come.
They hoped that a Fire Maker of their generation would appear in their lifetime to help human civilization advance once more.
And that was why Zeng Jing immediately flung the phone aside and ran out of his lab in a great hurry.
"Where is it?" he asked anxiously.
"Scholar Zeng, over here!" One of the lab staff waved him over to where he stood in front of an apparatus.
Zeng Jing immediately ran over to the apparatus and said, "Let me take a look…"
He stood in front of the apparatus and looked at the sample.
After just taking one look, Zeng Jing found it difficult to tear his eyes away.
It was as if the first girlfriend he'd ever yearned after day and night was in that apparatus, as if the item inside was the most important thing he'd ever seen in his life.
"Beautiful!"
"It's simply too beautiful!"
Zeng Jing was completely awestruck by what he saw.
That beautiful substance, those elegant moves, and that exceptionally lively undulation...
All of this was enough to prove that this was what all the psionic power researchers, in not just the Federal Empire, but the entire world, had been yearning for throughout many days and nights.
It was the key to opening the door to being able to use and control psionic power.
Suddenly, Zeng Jing thought of something.
He immediately lifted his head and said to the other researchers in the lab who had crowded around, "Come, let's go and look for Situ He!"
"We must not let him escape!"
This was very important in defining who would be given the highest prestige in the field of psionic power research.


As the owner of an ordinary bookstore, Ling PingAn’s biggest wish was to muddle through life and do absolutely nothing. 
 
However, customers that were right in the middle of their pubescent crisis kept visiting his store in the dead of night.
 
For the sake of his business, Ling PingAn had to mimic their childish tones, sparing no effort to promote the books in his store.
 
When he finally managed to sell his books after going through a great verbal tug-o-war, each and every one of them said that they don’t have money, and that they wish to use various tools that were seemingly divine artifacts as pledge.
 
Looking at these customers, Ling PingAn could only agree to them resignedly.
 
But little did he know that every single book that these customers purchased from him had altered in appearance.
 
“Secrets of Cosplay” became “Lower Abyss Research Report”
 
“Stellaris: Settings for Synth Ascension” was in fact “Gospel for Synthetic Beings”
 
What’s more, in the eyes of these customers, he was actually a horrifying ruler of Diablos, an indefinable entity that held the reins of all realms.
 
In this regard, Ling PingAn said, “I’m not, I didn’t, don’t talk nonsense.
 

I sat back on the couch while reading my book. It's very quiet here, I couldn't concentrate. I peeked at Adrian from the top of my book. He was staring at his computer screen. When I gawked at him, he looked me in the eye and said
"Done checking on me ?" He smirked.
I lifted my book and cover my face with my book. I'm so embarrassed to be caught staring at him
"Come here, Arie" He called me
I put my book on the table and walked over to him.
"What's wrong ?"
"You wanna see what I'm doing ?"
I nodded then walked behind the table and stood by his chair. He stood up and said
"Look at my computer screen. Suit yourself. I'm making a new game. Me, Terry and Gale built this company together. We wanted to make a game that many people could enjoy"
I sat in his chair and ran the cursor. I was stunned to see the players in the game he just made. Adrian is really a master. I never thought he could make a game like this. When I was busy admiring his game, I heard him say
"What do you think ?"
I turned at him and said " I like your game. Your game is different from any other game I've seen. If other games kept the player's outfit to a minimum, then you are the opposite. The players in your game look polite. This indicates that the maker did not rely on it to attract people attention"
He nodded while sipping water in his glass then walked over to the couch and sat there. I gasped and asked him
"Oh yeah, I forgot to ask you. Why at that time you said that it was complicated regarding the sale of our video copyright ?"
"Our company has recently entered into a partnership with an online game company that we play"
"Why don't you take care of it ? Wouldn't it be easier ? Right now you're working with them"
"You take care of everything related to the sale of the video copyright"
He decided without listening to my explanation.
"But ... " He raised his hand telling me to stop continuing.
"OK. I'll sell it then we will share the money"
"No need. Think of it as a gift from Terry and Gale to welcome you"
I'm speechless. I squeezed the handle of Adrian's chair. I was going to ask him how about his share. But what if later he says that his share is our marriage dowry. I shudder when thinking of it.
"When your game launches ? I want to play the beta version" I change the subject.
He raises his eyebrows while staring at me
"It depends"
I wrinkled my brows "Why ? Can't I play the beta version ?"
He sipped his glass as he said "It depends on where our relationship will be"
I know Adrian started teasing me again. I can't loose again this time from him
"Then how can you measure our relationship ?"
He winks his eyes and says "I will make a game to measure it"
I gaped at his answer. This person is really annoying, he likes teasing me. I saw the glass he was holding. I just realized the picture of his glass is a player in our online game. I turn to the glass that he had put for me on the table. It turns out that it's a picture of my player
"Ermm .. This is the player from our online game, right ? Aren't there 25 players ?"
"I got a set. I only took two, the rest was taken by Gale"
I take my glass and look at the glass. Is this his way of telling me that he knows I'll come here one day ? It reminds me of when he sat next to me in history class. That's why he came. I'm the one who realized it too late. I was touched thinking about it. 
I got up from his chair and sat in front of him
"Tell me honestly, How do you know that I'm Arie, Adrian ?"
"Adrian ? ... " He smirked and raising his eyebrows. I smile shyly
"I saw you for the first time in an internet cafe in March"
"At an internet cafe ?"
"You played very well. I love seeing your finger playing"
So Adrian has know for a long time if I'm Arie, but why did he never tell me ? In the game he never said that either.
"I really want to compete with you"
"It is true ?" I nodded excitedly
"All right. But be kind to me, my dear wif- .. I mean women"
I giggled, I'm sure he meant to say my dear wife. He stood up and turned his head
"You continue your studies. I still have to finish my work"
He returns to his chair and I take my book again. Instead of studying I daydream. So Adrian has known I'm Arie for a long time. Even in the game he already intended to chase me. No wonder he was not surprised when he met me for the first time. He already knew and planned it all.
I didn't realize I was daydreaming while looking at him. He stared at his computer screen as he typed and said
"Arie, if you keep staring at me like that. I won't be able to hold it"
I choked and immediately looked down embarrassed. My face flushed and my heart was pounding.
Finished from his office we stopped by a restaurant near the campus. I sat opposite him. I pondered while looking out the window. Today I got nothing. I have to study, it's better after this I go back to the dorm. I looked at the table, apparently the waiter had put the food on our table.
I take the food and eat immediately. Adrian just silent while staring at me. Suddenly he said
"Do you want to compete with me ?"
With food still in my mouth, I nodded. Adrian really knows how to distract me. He just smiled seeing my act. When we're done eating, Adrian shifts the rest of the food. After the table is empty, both of us took out our laptop. The match this time I won it.
"You gave in to me, huh ?"
I frown while closing my laptop. he leaned back in his chair and looking at me. He chuckled
"My dear, you think too far"
I stuck out my tongue at him. He laughed at me.

"Damn it all! I'm going straight in. Cover me" Fu Jie cracked his knuckles and stretched his head towards the left and then towards the right before immersing himself in the game.
"Roger that!"

They raided the town hall, fought the demon boss and lost, built a troop, and fought the boss again. Won and backstabbed the troop, robbed the troop and ran away, eradicated the small NPC's, and leveled up. Joined a new troop and upgraded their armor. Fought the final boss, won, robbed, and killed the troop.

After another one hour and 30 minutes of hard work, Fu Jie sighed and stretched his sore hands, it hurt but it was worth it. His forehead was completely covered in sweat, but at least he won. That was the only thing that mattered right now: He won!

"Big bro... You won..." The boy on the other side seemed to have not been able to believe it but a second passed and the shock turned into joy as he exclaimed, "You won!"
"Who am I?" Fu Jie responded with a question, filled with pride.
"The great mo indeed!"

Yet another victory for the great mo.

The great mo[1] was the user name of the current superstar of the gaming world. The rich, handsome, and talented professional gamer, Liu Fu Jie, who had it all. If there was one thing he lacked though, it was manners.

"Now get lost! You useless f****r" Fu Jie replied before abruptly cutting off the connection.
A notification popped up on the computer screen, [Congratulations!! Player 19061, username: the great mo. You have won first place in this month's Super-sky event hosted by us. We are glad to inform you that you are now entitled to the grand flame sword and the special prize promised beforehand. The special prize would be sent to your address within the next 3-4 weeks. Hope you have a nice day. Well wishes from the Crimson Sky team (: ]
"...." Fu Jie clenched his fist as he read through the automated message, anger boiling inside of him. "F**k this sh*t!! Where's my motherf***ing gear?!" the perfectly fine keyboard was smashed against the desk once again, shattering into multiple pieces this time. 
Before he could destroy the computer screen as well, his phone rang and at the same time, somebody knocked on his door.
"Who the hell is this?!" Fu Jie answered the phone rudely.
"Young Master, your father wants you at dinner tonight. I had already sent a bodyguard over to escort you." The voice of a middle-aged man came through, calm, and composed as if already used to the young man's rudeness.
"Tell him I can't make it. I have more important stuff to do."
"Sir, your schedule for today is empty."
"It's filled!"
"Young master, I checked. It's empty." The man on the other side of the call spoke, "You have nothing better to do today."
"Tch- Stalker," Fu Jie immediately cut the call without bothering to respond.
Annoying. It was all annoying!
Today wasn't going as planned.
His phone dinged with an incoming text: 'your presence at dinner is mandatory.'
He ignored the message and proceeded to play crimson sky, getting ready to purchase the new royal red armor costing 199 USD, a limited edition, in-game purchase. He clicked on the confirm purchase button without a second thought but his purchase could not be completed as a continuous error showed up on the screen.
Ding, He received another text message: 'your credit card has already been suspended.'

"Damn!" Fu Jie cursed as he saw the awful message.

Quietly sitting at the awkward dining table, dressed in a formal white suit, Liu Fu Jie couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. In his mind, he wished for this night to end quickly and to leave this place peacefully but contrary to his wishes, his father spoke up, "Your brother is joining us tonight."
"What do you mean?" his face twisted in disgust as he heard his father.
"He has been abroad for far too long, it's time that he came back and learned how to manage the company." His step-mother commented from the side with a fake smile.
"Why wasn't I informed?" Fu Jie asked as he tried his hardest to hold back his anger.
"For what reason should you be informed? So you could run away again?" his father asked as he glared at him.
"Do you have to push me like this? Do you enjoy tormenting your son?!" Fu Jie raised his voice in anger.
"I really do enjoy it! I have tried to straighten you out so many times but you still want to act like a child and play around in your computer all day." His father put down the fork he was holding as he shouted at Fu Jie, "you have been nothing but a disappointment to me. Why should I be mindful of your feelings?"
"Playing around? That's my job!! I am a professional gamer, I get paid for it! When are you going to understand that?!"
"Paid? The monthly pocket money I give you is ten times more than what you make in a year with that pathetic job of yours."
Fu Jie scoffed as he heard his father, "it's all about money with you, isn't it? I'm doing what I love and I cannot sit here and listen to you degrading my job like this."
"You have absolutely no right to raise your voice against me, young man." His father yelled and at the same time, the door opened and another young boy around the age of nineteen entered the room.
"Dad..." the boy spoke.
"Look at your brother and learn something. At such a young age, he brings value to the company, how could you even compare?"
"That's right! I'm not worthy of being your son, so you can just take that boy and replace me with him like you always do." Fu Jie abruptly stood up and walked away, forcefully bumping against the young boy on his way out. Just one step away from the door, he heard his father's voice, "I'm selling that apartment of yours, move back into the main house by next week."
Fu Jie slammed the door behind him as he heard this and strode down the hallway of the luxurious hotel.
Instead of going back home, he decided to go to one of his online friend's house for the next few weeks and after a few sleepless nights of gaming, he was exhausted enough to forget all about the issues concerning his father.
After two weeks, he decided to go back to his apartment and rest, only to realize that his apartment had been emptied inside-out, ready to be sold. Only a box was left behind in front of the apartment. He picked up the box and read the label pasted on it. It was sent from the headquarters of the crimson sky game, probably containing the special prize he had completely forgotten about.
"Damn! I'm still mad at them for fooling me." He spoke to no one in particular.
He went inside the apartment and opened the package. Thankfully, the passcode of the apartment had not been changed yet.
Inside the box was a single book, carefully packed like a treasure.
"I'm going to sue the entire crimson sky company! Are they scamming me?!" he threw the book aside and picked up his phone to call the number that was given on the label of the package belonging to the sender.
"Hello! You have reached the crimson sky helpdesk. How may I help you?" A sweet female voice answered the phone.
"F**k you people." Fu Jie cursed without discrimination. "Are you kidding me? Not only did I not get my crimson gear but you send me a book?! This is fraud! You're messing with me!!"
"Ah...calm down sir. Can you please explain the situation?" The girl asked.
"I'm the great mo, this month's winner of the super-sky event. Do you still not understand?"
"The great mo? Oh! I know you, sir. You were the one who won the special prize!" The girl spoke in a delighted tone.
"What f***ing special prize?! You guys lied to me!! Where's my crimson gear??"
"Calm down sir. The crimson gear can only be attained by completing the final level of our game. There's no other way to get it."
"Do you think I'm a fool? You people promised a one of a kind special prize, the crimson gear and now you have the face to go back on your words?!"
"Sir, we said no such thing. We promised a special prize but did not elaborate on what that was. Are you unsatisfied with the prize somehow?"
"Unsatisfied?! Should I be satisfied then? I spent hours playing that game just to win that crimson gear, I am beyond unsatisfied."
"Sir, this has nothing to do with us. We gave you what we promised. It is your own fault for assuming that the special prize was going to be the crimson gear."

"Good day, sir." The phone call ended as the girl hung up first making Fu Jie curse her even more. He redialled the number but instead of it ringing—an automated voice came through, "the number you have dialed is no longer in service."
He had not expected the rumors about the crimson sky to be so true. It was said that they had the best legal team under them hence, taking any legal action against them was utterly useless and the location of their headquarters remained a mystery, making it impossible for people to barge in and cause any trouble for them. Not only that, but their helpdesk could only be reached once, and even if you redialled, you'd no longer be able to contact them. At first, all of these mysteries were the initial reason why Liu Fu Jie was interested in the game but after playing for a few weeks, he was automatically addicted to the crimson sky. Only now had he realized how shady the developers of this game actually were.
He threw his phone aside and picked up the previously discarded book. The book had a pretty antique look to it, the cover was made out of black leather and the pages were sown in. The pages themselves seemed to have a brown tint on them, some letters rubbed off and some pages torn from the edges, indicating how old the pages were. On the cover was the title of the book, written with red ink: the midnight musician by Bai Ling.
"Bai Ling? So the maker calls himself Bai Ling? What type of joke is this?" even though he was dissatisfied and constantly complaining about the prize he won, he still sat down and read through the book. At first, he found the story to be like a cheap version of the original myth of Bai Ling but after reading more than twenty chapters, he had long forgotten his initial dissatisfaction and was completely immersed in the story, finding it to be quite interesting.
Liu Fu Jie didn't realize when but he had read the whole book in a single sitting and had somehow fallen asleep.
The next morning he woke up to a near heart attack as he looked at his surroundings. He was no longer in that old empty apartment of his. He woke up on top of a tree in the middle of the wilderness and rubbed his eyes a few times, thinking that it may be a dream. But dream or not, one thing that didn't change was his fear of heights.
"What the actual f**k is this?!! @#$!@#%$&&*%$#@%$#^$%" A string of profanities slipped through his tongue as he clung on to the branch of the tree for dear life.

okay here's the scenario mc a mod maker decided to make a minecraft mod pack containing several mods he made himself including a few some people made them selves.

Here is the mods he would add

[naked but resourceful]
this mod makes it so that your character spawns in naked instead of with the skin clothes your character usually has along with adds in new effects like freezing and soaked witch adds negative debuffs. it also adds basic clothes like grass skirt.

[clothing variety]
adds in the ability to craft more clothes along with adds in the ability to add designs 

[quality fantasy]
this mod will add in two mobs that will appear during the day the [goblins] and [orcs] along with events like [invasion of the overworld] witch will open up a gaint portal in the over world that a army of pigmen will come through to invade the over world and will slowly get stronger if not dealt with soon.

[quality goods]
this mod makes it so everyone has a skill tabs telling them how skillfully they are in different tabs.

[golem master]
allows those who finds builders gantlet to make golems. witch means they are given parts there allowed to craft and design a golem with it. there's lesser versions witch are made with norm materials but are at least half as weak even when made out of gold.

there's a few more mods but I won't go into them because I'm not making the book but I like the idea of mincraft novels

mc starts with one of the two golem gauntlets the other is hidden in in the end. mc is told he will be transported a weak before everyone else so hes prepared so hes pretty prepared. oh yeah hes 24 and has no known relatives he knows also hes barley leaves his house so most his friends are online and he knows most of there faces.

Old Time Tea heard that Pi was not going to Germany with everyone, but would stay in the shop to update its novel.
"Pi, are you staying in the shop? Our trip to Germany is long, and you'll be alone in the shop…" Old Time Tea asked in surprise.
Zhang Zian also wanted to say that the Germany trip would last at least one week—or even two—including the time on the road. During this time, Pi would be fine during the day, as Wang Qian, Li Kun, and Lu Yiyun were there downstairs to run the business and do the daily cleaning. At night, however, after they had finished their shifts and returned home, the only intelligent creature in the shop was Pi itself. The regular cats and dogs were its only companions in the empty shop. 　　 
Pi had reasons to insist on staying. Zhang Zian had not read many online novels, but he knew that one of the characteristics of online writing was the need to update on a daily basis. It was fine to take breaks occasionally, but one or two weeks off was not an option, especially for a new author. Pi didn't need food, which was an advantage. Zhang Zian didn't need to worry that it might get hungry, except that leaving it alone was not completely reassuring. Plus, it might feel lonely if it was left alone in the shop.　　 
"Eek." Pi nodded calmly, then shook its hands and grinned, telling everyone not to worry. It then circled its index fingers and thumbs of both hands to make a QQ shape, meaning that it would not feel lonely with the readers from the Book Friend Group with it.　　 
After seeing that it was determined, Zhang Zian stopped insisting that it follow him.　　 
In fact, after careful thinking, it was fine to leave Pi in the shop. Its life was extremely simple. It started typing after it woke up every day and took breaks when it was tired from typing, then resumed its typing again. "Quack! Even I cannot understand the curry flavored English!" Richard was unwilling to be left alone and interrupted the conversation.　　 
Zhang Zian said, "Be careful. Maybe the Indians will pluck all your feathers, then turn you into chicken curry stew while singing and dancing." 　　 
"Meow. Can we play hide-and-seek over there?" Galaxy asked expectantly.　　 
"Yes. After the film festival is over, we can travel there for a few days before heading back. You'll surely have a lot of fun…" As soon as Zhang Zian spoke these words, he suddenly realized that Pi would be staying home and waiting for their return. He didn't know what to do.　　
"Eek." Pi waved its hands, meaning that he didn't need to worry about it. It waved again to say that they could fully enjoy themselves before coming back.

He went upstairs and took out a luggage bag from the storage room, which he used earlier on the USA trip. He stuffed some clothing inside, along with other things that he might need.　　 
The so-called dismissal meant continuing to sleep, play, and horse around with the elfins. Pi might be the only one with serious business.　　 
It jumped onto the swivel chair, sat straight in front of the desk, then put on its pince-nez and browsed the content in a Word document that it was writing earlier before going downstairs. It was trying to pick up where it had left earlier.　　 
The QQ icon at the bottom right screen was blinking—somebody was looking for it, but it didn't click on it to check the message. Zhang Zian would help deal with those later.　
Regarding the Germany trip of Zhang Zian and others, despite that Pi acted as if it didn't care, there was some pity and reluctance in its heart. It wanted to follow everybody, just like the last time they went for fireworks together, but it could not. Now was the first month that its novel went Premium. This was a crucial period, and a long-term interruption of updates would undo all the hard work in the past. It didn't want to disappoint the readers who had been supporting it all along. 
It was fine. There would be plenty of opportunities in the future.　　 
In fact, it was also an Otaku at heart.　　 
Pi quieted its mind and picked up the interrupted train of thought; it had already planned what to write next. It then placed two index fingers on F and J, naturally resuming the correct typing position that Zhang Zian had taught it. It no longer needed to work on resuming the position anymore, for this had become its instinct.　　 
"Meow." Pi was about to press the key when it heard Galaxy meowing behind it.

Kai looked down at his lap as he sat deep in thought. placing his head in his hands, his breathing became heavier and his eyes widened as the situation begsn to sink in. he had no idea why he didn't react like this earlier. possibly it was because it happened so suddenly, or maybe it was because he was in front of his son. either way, it didn't matter.

'my 'plan' from earlier was good, but it's too dangerous. I've only used a gun once! and that was for self defense. as much as I think I can sacrifice someone for my own good, I don't know if I could actually do it without hesitation. shit shit shit.

Kai put a hand up to his chin as he sat in thought. the corner of his lips were turned down, forming a slight frown. 'these skills are useful, but considering that I'm weaker than average, it means that it's only good for hiding or running away. perhaps having friends would be useful for me. well, not exactly friends but...'

exiting out of the tab, he looked at the other options. he knew what most of them would show. he was mainly curious about the contract and trade option. he checked out the trade option first with an anxious expression.

our story takes place a month after the disaster. while he was capable of surviving thanks to his eight year old son, he now only had one day to live.

After experimenting with paste skill, i bored and decided to install electricity in the yurt by buying some electric generator for the power supply. After Browsing the Online Shopping skill i found Hydropower generator and wind turbine, after considering for awhile i choose Hydropower generator while top up my Online Shopping wallet to 100.000$ while at it. hmm its still not level up yet, as expected of mythical Rating skill.
A large box suddenly appeared in front of me and i started to unbox it and put the water turbine into my inventory skill.
I called Chali whom seems to finish maintenance her precious gloves to go to the river for installing the water turbine generator. During installation she had curious face and asked me

I smiled at her and continued to install the generator, this generator is considered the small one that generate 2KW of electricity, its enough for us now as its a power that could satisfy the annual electrical energy needs of two average UK homes at earth.

I bought a cable and started making a pole with the woods from the trees i cut to made electricity pole.
I set the pole to connect the electricity from the water to the yurt, after that i started to install the electricity system in the yurt.
I installed while reading "how to" from some book about electricity first tho as i didn't know too much about the electricity. Its good if i had the internet as i could just go*gle it, sigh... i really missed the internet~
During the electricity installation Chali helped me while curiously looking the cable and its arrangement

After that i bought kitchen stuff like stove, oven, blender, refrigerator, coffee maker, toast, juicer etc, that make small kitchen inside the yurt. I bought the carton box juice with different flavor, some ice cream and soda for a month stock then put it inside the refrigerator. i didn't need raw cooking ingredient as my inventory is more efficient to store that than refrigerator, i just want to drink the cold beverage!

I bought light bulbs and installed it inside the yurt, with this i didn't need portable lightning that need to charge when the power run out for the yurt anymore.

Ah! i need washing machine and the dryer for laundry! whatever i need i bought them with Online Shopping skill
I really wanted to build some bathroom, and furnished it with shower and toilet but i didn't made the water system yet! ugh.. lets made it tommorow..

The game started playing in the screen, i teached Chali and explaining how the controller work. at first she not good enough to play it but after awhile she used to it and play the game skillfully. This woman adapted very fast! i couldn't lose, lets get serious!
[how did this thing worked? is the people that we control alive? anyway did all the people in master world have the time to play this thing? in this world mostly people only think about how to survive for tomorrow... they don't have time for fancy entertainment like these~]

Chali answer me with somewhat lonely smile, i didn't know what she think about inside her heart but what i could do is made her happy and tried to make her day more colorful from now on.
We play the game merrily, sometimes a could heared Chali giggling charming voice from time to time. After she got enough of the game, i continued introduce her to other stuff.
I teach her how to used the cooking utensils and tools. and continued with how to did the laundry more conveniently with washing machine and dryer. She gasp in amazement everytime after realizing how convenient the goods is.
With this i slowly to bring the Earth lifestyle in another world!
