The tablets mounted on our desks can automatically save all the files that had been shown on the screen monitor.

The tablets can be used by the students to login in the account before the class starts. You can also use a biometrics specifically your thumb prints to automatically login in the tab, by putting your thumb in the biometrics pad and hold for five seconds.

All the students have our own profile where we can log in anywhere at any time, it is connected to all the subjects, which will show all the tasks and assignments. Even all the lessons for the later date were also saved in every profile so we can do an advance study, we can also use the profile to do all the homework and submit it using the account.

It also has a calendar which can show all the incoming tasks with its submission dates. We can also connect with our classmates and professors through the Live Collaboration Menu if we have to miss the class for a valid reason. We also have the Off Collaboration Menu where we can watch the recorded classes on certain dates and topics if we want to listen again with the discussed lessons in the classroom.

We also have a chat group where all the students and the professor of the subjects can connect with each other and talk about important things that are related to the lessons. We also have a notice board menu per subject where the professor can give an announcement, agendas and the likes in the account. Each of the subjects have their own stated menus so it won't be messy and would be easy to navigate.

The personal informations like name, age, address, phone number, email address and the like of each of your classmates and professors will also be seen in the contacts list per subject. There is also a resources menu where all the digital version of the book you used in your subject would be seen in the account so you don't need to bring book around and you can just follow the manual discussion using the digital version of the book.

We are also not required to write notes, it just all depends on the student if they want to or not. I personally love taking notes to serve as my key notes if I need to review and revise for quizzes and major exams. I wrote a summarize, acronyms and key words about the topics we discussed.

I love to read books especially novels with genres: rom-com, comedy, sci-fiction and mystery. However, with the busy schedule I have right now, I don't have time to read a whole book just to review and revise for the lessons. It would take me a day or two to finish reading the academic book and I don't have the luxury to do it. As that day can be spend on reading, reviewing and revising business proposals instead of wasting reading a whole book when I can read in a short time and easy way using the key notes I have written.

After five minutes of setting up, our professor spoke as a sign that the class would begin, 

" Okay good morning students, our main topic for today is all about 'Initiating the Marketing Process' " she paused and continued by saying 

" In this main topic, we have five subtopics to be discuss for this week. For today's topic would be ' Creating Customer Value, Relationships and Experiences Through Marketing " 

" Anybody who can define marketing using your own words? Just raise your right hand if you want to answer" 

I raised my hand and answered " Good morning teacher, for me marketing is a process used to advertise, develop and sell the product in an easier way and uses a properly developed marketing plan. It is one of minor assets needed in a business to properly market your products in the marketplace. Although marketing is a very common word related to business, we still have many misconceptions about marketing especially the beliefs from a non-business people. We commonly believes that marketing is an advertising, selling and common sense of business but it is far more than it really is." 

" Hmmm possible, anyone else? " she nodded and continued " although your definition is somewhat similar, you have the idea of what is really marketing and you know about the misconceptions related to it so I will give you seven points for that " she grab her tablet and made some clicks for a minute or so, she put it down again and I heard a notification ringtone from my tablet.

I took the tablet and check the notification tab, it says " Your marketing professor had rewarded you 7 points and it is added to your class participation reward points " After checking I gave my thanks to my prof.

I think I forgot to tell you that all the students have a chance to earn reward points from their professors and the points to be given will depend on the standard of their professors and based on their performances. We can accumulate points from class participation and class attendance ( 5 points will be rewarded if you don't have absences at the end of the week, additional 10 points if you don't have absences in the whole month and additional 100 points if you don't have absences in the whole year for all your subjects ).

We can also accumulate points based on our performances in assignments, essays, projects, quizzes and major exams. The possible ways to earn reward points were divided into different categories: class participation, class attendance, class performances, extracurricular activities, behaviour, social interaction and hidden tasks.

In behaviours and social interaction categories, both the school staffs (from lower level to higher level of employees) and your fellow students can reward you a reward point, their category names speak for itself so I don't think I need to explain further for their rules right? Student can also do some sharing of points, it depends on your "friendship" or the relationship of the students involved in sharing, but I bet it will only happen in very rare occasion.

We treasures every pieces of rewards points because the more we earn the more chances we can redeem it for something that we need in the future. We can only redeem once per term so the more we earn the better. It is our choice to redeem every term or every end of the school year or at the day before graduation. It won't expire until we graduate anyway so I really don't have plan to redeem my plans unless I really need to. As much as possible, I would save it until the day before graduation so I can redeem a request or a favor to the chairman, my dad * evil smirk *.

Sierra eyed him shrewdly after that. "Why did you step behind that car? Mine is the other way. You had no reason to do that."
Oops. Nathan forgot she was with him for a minute. She had a smear of powdered sugar from her jelly donut on the side of her mouth since she had been eating as she walked and it distracted him as he tried to think of an appropriate answer that wouldn't peg him as crazy. 
"Uh…I figured the driver wouldn't see that kid coming but would see me?"
He cursed himself for making it sound like a question because he was unsure. That powdered sugar was still throwing him off for some reason. 
"What if they didn't? You're still recovering from an accident!" Sierra scolded. "Honestly…sometimes I wonder if you have a death wish. You can't save everybody you know."
Nathan knew that better than anybody. But he still had to try. "I don't have a death wish. I just…can't stand by if there's something I can do. I didn't get hurt this time so I don't see what the big deal is. I'm fine and that kid is fine."
She sighed but dropped the subject. "Whatever. It's your life; feel free to throw it away if you want to. Let's go."
He didn't think of it as throwing his life away but he didn't want to keep arguing with her. His hunch that she didn't like him increased but unfortunately he needed to keep relying on her for the foreseeable future. Rideshares were expensive and he already had to use them for his meetings with the personal injury lawyer. 
When they were back in the car Nathan put a reminder in his phone's calendar that Sierra was coming to pick him up Wednesday morning for about an hour in advance. He knew he wouldn't remember to put it on a sticky note once he got home because she would be out of his sight. 
He wouldn't have to do this much longer. Since she clearly disliked him and was only helping him out due to a sense of guilt their association would stop as soon as he was able to drive again. After a few more weeks it would be all over.

Their pattern of continuing largely not talking on their drives to and from the physical therapy office carried on until Nathan was able to drive himself again, as predicted. He thanked her for all of her help and then they stopped talking altogether. 
His arm had most of its old range of motion back even if it was still sore. As he kept at his arm exercises it continued to get better. By the time his book came out he was able to do signatures again to the great relief of his editor. 
He still felt a bit awkward about interacting with fans en masse but there was nothing he could do about it. He already figured out a generic way to personalize signatures so everything should be fine. Hopefully.
"You're going to do great!" Jordan said optimistically as he clapped a hand on Nathan's good shoulder. 
They were already sitting at the table the bookstore had set up for them. The store hadn't opened yet for the event but he could already see the line in front of the door stretching all the way around the block. That was completely insane!
He had been advertising for this event on his professional Facebook page (he didn't bother with a personal one) and Instagram account for weeks to hype up the new book but he hadn't expected this sort of turn out. He supposed the publisher's marketing department's efforts must have contributed to this as well. There were also posters of his book cover advertising the event in the front windows of the bookstore. 
Nathan took a deep breath to steel himself as the doors opened and eager fans began pouring in. There were stacks of his new book available for purchase on nearby tables.  
He would be hosting a question and answer session about the book first. Then people would have the chance to buy a copy of the newest one before coming over to his table to get signatures. He was the most worried about the Q&A because he had never been good at public speaking. 
This event wasn't only about marketing the book. It was about marketing himself so his fans would continue to support him. And that was absolutely terrifying. 
'I can do this,' Nathan attempted to convince himself. 'I need to act like I'm talking to someone I'm comfortable with, that's all. I can pretend Amber's in the audience and I'm focusing on her.'
Jordan and the owner of the bookstore were speaking and he tried psyching himself up. His part in this mess was about to begin. When he realized he had been introduced he pasted on a smile and forced himself to remain calm. It was showtime.
