Visual atau penglihatan itu mulai jadi penilaian seseorang tidak hanya dari penampilan tapi bentuk rupa juga masuk ke dalam kategori itu, dan itu juga di alami oleh Ferdi yang mempunyai bentuk rupa yang tidak disukai banyak orang atau sering disebut banyak orang dengan istilah jelek Ferdi yang ter lahir seperti itu tidak bisa menyalahkan siapa pun dia hanya bisa berkeluh kesah soal wajah yang dimilikinya tapi ada juga beberapa keberuntungan yang ia dapatkan dari wajah tersebut.
Kebalikan dari Ferdi, Gery justru mempunyai wajah yang disukai banyak orang atau istilahnya Tampan atau ganteng di masa sekolahnya dia sangat populer di kalangan para wanita bahkan sosial media nya sangat mempunyai banyak pengikut tapi di balik wajahnya tersebut dia juga punya banyak keluh kesah karena banyak disukai banyak orang. 
Ketika mereka beranjak dewasa mereka mulai di hadapkan dengan masa pubertas, mereka mulai ingin mencari pendamping hidup atau pujaan hati dan ini bukan hal mudah buat Ferdi dan tidak mudah juga untuk Gery banyak masalah yang mereka hadapi.

Mina is a foreign exchange student from Japan. She has always been shy and timid specially around Mark. The guy of her dreams who seems to only see her bestfriend Sana.

And to all those who do put that, I already put it in the description. This is in no particular order. So let me write what I want and get off my back.

So here it goes. A story about baka me. Near illegal me. And just plain me trying to get away from it by talking about it.

Quick word of advice. If anyone involved in this story decides to place a comment saying a sarcastic comment. Go ahead. I doubt you remember it exactly or anything else I remember about you. So I welcome more options.

Now, let's start.

I'm currently 24. This all happened a full decade ago. I was in 9th grade. A technically gifted student. And at 14 able to help my teachers with their laptops issued by the school. Well, one teacher went a little bit farther. She requested me to fix a problem with the computer in her back room.

No that is not a sex joke! Anyone comments that and I'll personally deal with you!

Ok. Let's continue.

So, she calls me to the back room and asks me to fix the computer. Apparently she was waiting two months for the school tech guy. That school was inside the second floor of a church. The guy should have had zero to do. But yeah, two months.

Nice job, Jose! You started this entire thing because you were late!

Ok. Ok. I'll do my best to stop typing like that, but my ADHD has me make jokes a lot whenever possible. Unless you guys want it to continue. Let me know in a comment.

So, I'm called in and left there for an hour while she heads to lunch. And I noticed a flaw in the computer. It could connect to the WiFi, but the school couldn't do anything to it. This teacher wanted me to fix it by blocking what was "too much". Well, I decided to do a bit more. First off, I unblocked flash player. And proceeded to begin unblocking game sites.

To clarify, I was not choosing lewd games. My main focus was visual novels. I've always been a weeb. But actually being able to use a visual novel without a download was something I could not pass up. So, I unblocked three sites alongside flash player and blocked off anything adult. She decided to give a test paper a week later. I finished typing it in the back room within a day.

Then I commandeered the computer to test what I did. I did it perfectly. So, I took the full two weeks of the assignment in the back room to be on visual novels.

Was I caught?

Not by a teacher.

Here's where it gets baka. I ended up getting caught by my best friend. He's a fellow weeb, gamer, and pretty much just as baka. I was on a visual novel for a show called Love Hina. And I had just reached a scene that was pretty lewd. Then he walked in. His first reaction wasn't laughing. It wasn't to rat on me.

In fact, he looks at the game and says he knows it. Says she's hot. And leaves without another word.

Let me just get that into your minds. My best friend not only didn't say anything. He decided to comment on the character and leave. Funniest thing I heard that day was after he left he actually asked to go to the bathroom.

But yeah, didn't get caught and had it going for weeks. Another month went by and I was able to do it to three other computers. And each class got a notice from the principal. Apparently messing with the computers was illegal and under the signature we put in the contract that allowed us to use the computers it stated we could be charged with tampering with school property. That's a one way ticket to juvie.

Now, no one knew it was me. No one could pin it on me because I was the star pupil. Little angel with the mind of a genius. All that. And the guy who got hit was Jose. The tech guy was fired because he allowed it.

Now, most people would be thankful they survived and got away.

Not me.

When Jose left, I left a message in his office. It was the words "Bye bye. I did it" written in binary on a paper.

This guy took it to the people who were his bosses. Saying to get someone who can read it. Here comes the principal. The principal knew binary. And he reads it and calls the cops. Jose was taken downtown for questioning. And I never saw him again. Later the same week I got caught. Sort of.

Wasn't my fault.

My idiot brother decided to try it himself and the school saw the change he made. So I basically just got a lot of yelling and then said I didn't do anything. I also said he doesn't talk to me or have my classes so why would I be teaching him anything. Then that he knew three people who were that knowledgeable in his class.

Ended up getting away scot free while my brother and his three friends got three months detention.

Basically, I was baka for doing it. Baka for testing the guy. And played baka to get away with it. Sometimes to catch a baka, it takes a baka.

The baka moments throughout my life. Both mine and those I've seen. No particular order. Just what I remember one by one.
Starting on March 1st


I suppose I should start with a self-introduction?
Of how it all began? Of the Phenomenon that came forth? Of how my gentle meander of a life slipstreamed into a rushing waterfall and eventually thrusted me into the cold depths of the ocean?
Well, screw that. And screw this life too.
And as for a self-intro, well...
You could call me Anon. Or any shitty self-insert MC you'd see in any generic cultural drivel they call weeb stuff these days. You know what I mean. Light novels, manga, anime, and God-forbid, live action adaptations of those.
Hmm? What are you saying?
You don't like self-inserts? Too bland?
Too bad.
Well what about those Gary Stu types and overpowered bastards who are entitled to be the protagonist by simply existing? Get a load of their egos and abilities straight out of a chuunibyou's wet dream of being the world's  strongest and becoming the owner of a harem that has more odalisques than King Solomon himself.
The higher you go, the louder the fall.
It sounds like an escape from reality, no? But the best selling shit these days and the only template that gets on my nerves is the isekai genre. Google it up if you haven't heard of it. It's a literal embodiment of escapism, and it's mass-produced in the dozens. An entire season could come and go without missing the whole transfer from this reality to another.
But most of all, I really hate this current reality so much that I would love to try being hit by a truck and transported to world where I could be the overpowered guy and live a rose colored life.
I was content to be a simple romcom protagonist living out my youth inside a computer screen, while my real youth is being wasted on desiring and emulating. Now that that the pixels and chibis are floating within the deadzones of my eyes and the existential horrors they possess, I realized that wishes weren't something you returned nor exchanged.
That's rich considering I haven't had such thoughts before the Phenomenon came forth. I would have welcomed a reality diving into a delusion, but a delusion going out into reality? I would learn that this question is correctly answered by: "Hell, no", at the cost of my lifestyle.
Prior to that, I didn't had a life noteworthy of being well... noteworthy. I'm an average student living with my average family with an average lifestyle. You could take millions of people like me and put us side by side and you wouldn't spare me a sideways glance. A drop of individuality is easily swallowed by a gallon of collective identity. Some, especially like me, lose color just as quick even just by entering a classroom, a pseudo-microcosm of society.
But that hardly matters for me back then. I was a bit obsessed with playing visual novels. It was the only thing that mattered for me. It was the epitome of culture; the ultimate blessing of man's wisdom. It transcends identity issues and whatnot by providing me with:
Art!
Plot!
Music!
Voice Acting!
And best of all, the myriad of choices that came with it. How I love the alternate endings and debating which one was canon! It was far more satisfying than my unsatisfying life.
But the Murphy's Law and the laws of causality ensured that my life of free-falling in a kinetic novel-esque direction would take a rather abrupt turn and give me the choices that I would use to change my life.
Note to self: choice is but an illusion in a pre-determined path. Is it really a set of choices when the other choice is an undesirable one and 10/10 instances that no one would choose it? Leave it to the philosphers to debacle that and I'll always pick the easy way out.
I wasn't sure how this happened. For the record, there was no dream, no magical books, no angered gods, no magical devices, no scientific event and definitely no catalyst were used, disturbed, immersed or even thought of when it began or even before that.
Nothing grandiose; just waking up one day that everything had gone wrong.
The moment I woke up on a random day... no, even before that, the choices began to flitter in front of my eyes.
The lack of nightmares probably made it clear.
That it made its way into my reality...
And thus my life as a visual novel protagonist began.
Choices
1.) Play (and silently accept your fate).
2.) Play (while screaming internally).

See the world through the eyes of our unnamed protagonist, who wakes up being subjected to the fate of a visual novel protagonist: forced to make a choice of the lesser evil and be inexplicably surrounded by cute girls he had never seen before. Will his choices lead to a start of rose-colored wonderful harem life? Or will he take the path of mayhem and learn the truth behind this Phenomenon?

It's really up to the choices he makes!

Within an hour of cleaning, the whole dorm room was squeaky clean. He also spent around some money on buying wire cases. To his surprise, all the materials he asked for were delivered 10 minutes after he requested to buy it on his phone. It seems that students from this school are considered very important people or in other words, VIPs.
Having no clue on what goes where and the function of those cables, he did his best to organize them in a way so that nothing will intersect with each other. It was perfectly neat organization by Theodore.
As he was tidying up the final preparations for his cleaning, he found a false trapdoor under a drawer. "This mechanism..." There was a small hole under the drawer. "If my memory serves right... This was a mechanic from an anime..." He pulled out a ballpoint pen then opened it up to get the thin ink holder inside and pushed it in the small hole in the drawer which then raised the false trapdoor.
As he opened it, he just found games. Disappointment was showing in Theodore's face as he discovered that the thing he found were just useless crap that Ray was hiding.
But he was curious on it though.
He picked up the top game and read the title. "Doki Doki Highschool Life? What's with that ridiculous name..?" He flipped it over and looked at the description of the game. "Let's see... A visual novel game Satoru, as he enters his high school life. He meets multiple people in his life where it can fully change his destiny." 
Theodore tilted his head trying to understand, "Visual novel..? As I remember its kind of a game but it's just textboxes with the art of the characters in it and you click to read it. Hmm..." Theodore thought for a while after reading the rest of the description. "So its a romance visual novel about Satoru and his romance life as a teenager? And the ending will be based on the choices that I make? This is... interesting. I must know further."
Without hesitation, Theodore booted up one of the consoles Ray had and inserted the disc inside. "I have never seen a visual novel. I must know further if this is a new way of reading novels instead of books. This might be a great source of information." He thought to himself.
"Doki Doki!" The game started up with a loud music and the announcer's voice and a giant text of Doki Doki was in the screen with a heart behind it. "Highschool Life!" A flash emerged from the screen and the second set of text appeared. 
'New Game,' 'Load Game,' 'Options,' 'CG,' 'Music' and 'Quit Game' slid up to the lower middle part of the screen. 
"I'm literally ten seconds in and I already hate this." Theodore muttered to himself.
The obnoxious music, the cutesy voice of the announcer, the cute sound effects and visual effects. Apparently Theodore hates everything about this.
With hesitation, he clicked on New Game and the 'obnoxious' cute voice of the announcer were heard. 
"Satoru!!!" A loud shouting sound was heard from the television. About a woman in her teens. The camera panned around and showed the woman with a pink hair panting hard. "Good morning! I was about to wake you up but you woke up too early."
The man in the game suddenly spoke, "Listen here Akari, we're not kids anymore. You don't need to wake me up."
"There's no sprite for the man... So visual novels are like first person? I see. I'll take that in mind. So that means... I'm Satoru? I see... That's interesting." Theodore muttered.
"Are you sure?" Akari's sprite in the game suddenly got closer, "So you're saying you don't want to take a bath with me anymore?"
"S-h-u-t u-p!" Satoru then flicked Akari's forehead in the game. "We already stopped doing that years ago."
The next textbox had the voice of the main character but it seems to be his internal dialogue. "This is Akari. She's a childhood friend of mine. We've been a good friend for ten years. Even though I hit her, she hits me back. Its our little bonding moment whenever we meet each other alone."
"Hmm... why does he let himself get hit? This is starting off weird... And seriously? This plot looks like a plot that would happen in the 90s." But Theodore couldn't stop playing even with his complaints. "Oh? A new character."
Theodore played the game for several more hours until he heard a knock at the door. As he opened it, Ray greets him with a big hug. "Hey Theodore! Good to see ya!" An overfriendly gesture but Theodore just ignored it. Ray looked over Theodore's shouder, "You're playing a game?"
"Yeah. Sorry for using your console." Theodore replied.
"HAHA! Don't mind, don't mind! It's all good. And I see that you've also cleaned the room. So what are you playing?"
"I don't know. I just found it somewhere. You've always been inviting me to play so I guess I'll learn some thing or two."
Ray walked in and looked at the television, "Let's see what are you play-" Ray's words suddenly got stuck at his mouth.
"Its Doki Doki Highschool Life or something. I never knew that you like to read a lot Ray."
"Uh- Uh- Uh-" Ray starts to panick as sweat falls down on his face. "Uh- UH-" Ray grabbed Theodore's shoulders with both of his hands and shook him. "WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS!?" 
"The hidden compartment in the drawer. The mechanism you put was pretty genius. I'm impressed."
Ray looked at the television and as if a spear has struck his chest, he began to panic again. "UH- THIS SCENE UM- UH- THEODORE! UH- LET'S PLAY OTHER GAMES SHALL WE?"
"Hmm? Why? I'm pretty sure I'm nearing the end. I'm also a book writer so this information is important to me."
"But... YOU KNOW! This games are for single player. So I was thinking more for a multiplayer!" Ray began to do weird things to his hand as if preventing Theodore for watching it.
Theodore looked over to see. "What is it that you're trying to-"
As Ray overstretched his toes to prevent Theodore for seeing the screen, he lost his balance and fell on the ground and hit the confirm button on the controller. "AH- NO-"
The screen turned dark then lit up. It was no longer the visual novel that Theodore was playing. "Is this a cutscene? Wait why is Satoru and Akari undressi-"
"UWOOOOOHHHHH!!!" Ray moved like the speed of light and dived into the outlet and ripped it out causing the television to shut down and so does his console. "Ah... Finally..." Ray let out a sigh of relief. But as he opened his eyes and looked at Theodore he felt something was wrong.
Theodore looked at him like he was a piece of garbage. "So you want to play those kind of games with me..? So you swing that way..?"
"WAIT NOOOOOO-" Ray explained to Theodore for two hours on what those games are in his drawer and clearing up the misunderstandings.

This young man in his early life as a teenager is considered to be a talent born once every century. A modern Shakespeare. Highly regarded by thousands of people all around the globe with his tear-jerking creations of love story that will make men and women cry. 

In short, a genius.

But everyone knew of his true nature. Despite being awarded countless awards as one of the best romance author in the whole world, he's... clueless. Everything about love.

His cold demeanor and a stone cold face shows no signs of attractions or feelings to anyone. He doesn't feel any attraction to anyone. 

Now, he enters the first years of his high school life. Several interesting characters entered his life in which fate clearly planned to.

Will he be able to feel the feelings of the character he writes in his novels or will he just be the same old, cold and heartless, 'Void Writer'?

AUTHOR'S NOTE: As much as I'd like to reference real books in the real world in this story, I'm afraid that I cannot since there's copyrights and licensing protecting those things. And I'm not going to risk it. So that's why most of the books in this story will be made up by me.

And some more visual novels that are great but I don't feel like writing an essay. 

Oh and after like 8 years i finally checked out Minecraft and it isn't so bad. The last time I've played it there wasn't even a hunger bar so they advanced it pretty well. I even saw a turtle.

A3 : Anything that has a rhythm and I enjoy it. From anime openings to death metal. Pop rock metal techno dubstep eurobeat literally everything. I will create a YouTube music playlist for you guys later. But it will take quite a some time to make since there are too many songs. You can check it out later once I make it.

A5 : Steins gate. Probably the best anime ever made. It's great, there are many references to other anime and stuff. And when you realize that they made an anime out of basically only an internet joke called John Titor its really amazing.
The depth of the show is insane. Characters are unique. I love science. Voice actors on Okabe and Kurisu are perfect. Literally a perfect anime.

Finally, after almost 2 hours has passed, he arrived in front of the world which is fitting with his taste. It's a world with mixed culture like in our Earth, with civilization level around the medieval era. Because of the existence of magic, the level of machinery technology there is quite low, existing only in the form of coal and steam powered engine, and often optimized with magic to increase its performance so that it can works even better than electric machine in our world. Altough its number is quite few and only exist in some country, while other regions have culture fully dependant on magic.
Magical beasts, monsters and demons are the main threat on this world, as also the villainous humanoid race who often works together in underground society. But overall, it's a good world in fantasy setting where majority of humanoid races is thriving even though sometimes disaster strikes.
"Well, Master, no matter what world you choose, its inevitable that there will be a trouble looming over there. So the only thing we can do now is choosing the world best for us in our current situation."
"What do you mean 'trouble looming over'?"
"When we come to that world, we will cross an interdimensional path and make some crack in the dimensional vault of that world, which can make powerful creatures from other worlds to be able to come intruding to that world."
"Then..., we going there will bring certain doom to that world?"
"Oh don't worry about that. There are many powerful beings out there who can travel to other worlds. Summoning magic is also exists in that world, altough it's a rarity. Even if we don't come, there is no stopping for other intruder to come in if fate wills it be."
"Ok, then. Thanks for the consolation. So, I only need to jump in to come to that world?"

Other people can also give him their skill without him defeating them if those people are willing (this is counted as he winning over them).

Just as Eru was praising Seki in her head, a cutscene in the game came up but Seki instantly pressed the skip button.

"I've never really cared about the stories in games and such. I'm also not very fond with books but I'm completely fine when it comes to Animes and shows. Probably because watching those doesn't take much effort."

Eru held her chin as if she was in deep thought.

"I don't know what to feel about that last comment. But JRPGs aren't really my scene. I've tried playing them a couple times but dropped them after a few minutes. The games that I'm crippling addicted to are visual novels."
"Ehhh... So you like those, huh. You don't really look like the kind of girl who would be into Eroges and lewd stuff."
Hearing the magic word [lewd], Eru's face instantly turned beet red.

Once again, Eru could simply sigh in disappointment. Noticing this, Seki tried to cheer her up.
"Maybe you could bring one of your visual novels here and we can play it."
Eru's face lit up as she heard this suggestion from Seki.
"Yeah... Let's do that. Then I'll that to my to do list! I'll make sure that you're addicted to the visual novels as well and one day you'll thank me for introducing you to an amazing medium!"

"I'm fine," Liang Heyun answered. Although she didn't know who Zhuang Guyin and Yuezheng Xingyang were, she still needed to give a valid reason why she didn't want them. Although her Grandfather looked like a normal old man to her, after hearing how high his status actually were, Liang Heyun couldn't help but feel a little scared.

Zhang Zhaozhao had always been a serious man, coupled with the fact that he's a business dragon, how serious would he be when she talked about this...engagement in the future. Just thinking about it made Liang Heyun shiver a bit.

In the end, Liang Heyun accepted the clothes which cost a string or zeroes before changing and went out on a 'date' with Eren. Eren insisted on taking her to a date, saying that he want to have a headstart before the other guys came and snatch 'his Heyun' away. Liang Heyun, although stunned, agreed.

And so, the couple walked to a nearby cafe, to see Liang Heyun's Grandfather, sitting leisurely while drinking tea. A man the two recognized sitting beside him. The man's body had muscles, but not too evident. He also had a handsome face, making Liang Heyun sweat a little. The man looked at Liang Heyun, before his eyes brightened.

"Student Heyun? Are you the granddaughter Sir Zhang talked about?" his eyes showed great delight, making Liang Heyun rethink her choice of going with the flow.

'Isn't this...,' Liang Heyun looked at the man's face. Although he wore a pair of glasses, not like usual, Liang Heyun would always recognize this face...,'Mr. Buonto!'

"Ah, Heyun, you're here...with Duncan lad, I see," Zhang Zhaozhao sipped his tea, before directing a 'glare' at his granddaughter, "Have you made a choice?"

"It...isn't what you're thinking about Grandfather," Liang Heyun sucked her breath, chewing on the insides of her mouth. She always did so if she's nervous, and Mr. Buonto sure had taken note of it.

"No need to be nervous Dye, you see, I am also a part of the candidates," Mr. Buonto said, "Does the name Yuezheng Xingyang ring a bell to you?"

'...'

"You see, seeing Duncan lad with you means...his bucket of a mouth have spilled something to you, and I'm sure it's about this...arrangement of mine," Zhang Zhaozhao said, putting down the the cup, "And honestly, I didn't expect you to know all of them, as said by Yuezheng lad. I'm surprised, and elated at the same time." 

"Huh?" Liang Heyun couldn't help but shudder a little.

"As said by Duncan lad before, I'm sure, you have to choose one of four, but right now, it's one of five, but the last one can only meet you in a few month's time...," Zhang Zhaozhao looked at Liang Heyun with his eyes full of love, "So, be sure to not choose anyone in the meantime!"

"Anyways, there's something I'm going to talk to you about, please don't hate me for this," Zhang Zhaozhao suddenly said.

A man was walking in the streets, calling for a taxi to go to his work.

Continuing to look for his taxi, which was also late, he looked crestfallen, till suddenly, he stopped dead on his feet, "What the..." He exclaimed.

 

The skies which looked as if they wanted to burn him alive suddenly grew cold and dark like it would during an eclipse. Looking above him, he saw a weird cluster... then, monsters fell from the skies. Countless, innumerable... as far as the eye could see, there were monsters. Demons like those he would read in textbooks, novels or see on the internet.

 

"You got to be kidding me... I didn't actually mean for the world to fall apart!" He yelled in a quiet voice, remembering suddenly just how bad his situation was.
