Within Sherwood university,  four teens  Blane daisy rose  alyssa and makes their way to the basement.   alyssa slides the socket open revealing a fingerprint sc alyssar.  She put in her fingerprints and opened the door which reviled a staircase.  She rose, Daisy and Blane descended the stairs and opened up the elevator that leads to the MI9  headquarters.  Their mentor who to the unknown world was a janitor Jessica was waiting for them.  "well,  which one of you have blown your cover? "Jessica asked furiously. "what? "the four teens said in a monotone  "the director has asked for an appointment with you four. And the last time I remember that happening was when someone got fired. "she said. The four teens looked bemused "Maybe she just wants to meet us ??"  alyssa said. "well! We shall find out?" She said.  They took the dark tunnel which leads to the MI9 headquarter basement. From there they went up a bunch of stairs and they landed themselves right near the director's office. Jessica knocked on their behalf . "come in." the director said. The four teens entered ."well, what is it director why have you assembled us here ?" Jessica asked . " well we have rumors that someone wants to hurt prince Fred. And queen has ordered you,  alyssa, to stay in the castle until the threat is over and look over prince Fred . " she said.  alyssa was shocked ." why me ?" she asked ." Well, I don't have a  clue, why don't you asked her tomorrow when she picks you up after school ?" the director said . " but my mom... "  alyssa said . " that's all taken care of, "she said. Each one of the four kids was given a file. They're headed back to school.   alyssa has detached from everything around ." why me ? There are other agents who are better than me.'" she thought. The rest of the day was a blur for her. She was so exhausted but band practice." A four " her band was going to perform tomorrow at the school function. "sorry I am late...let's start practice...." she said. "decided on what song to sing?" Aaron asked... "I don't know what do you want a song?" she asked. She was the only girl in the band Aaron adien and Alex was her best friends since kindergarten and when they asked her to join their band she couldn't say no. They were at the college stadium for three-hour practice. The guys dropped her home. 

Why is there a car with a British royal flag on it outside your house? "Alex said "Is the queen here now ?" she thought ." guys, I better get going. I will let you know bye. "she said. She took a deep breath and entered the house and saw her mom talking to the director ."Oh! Hi mum. I did not know  you had a friend  around ." She said." Oh!  alyssa, she is here for you." her mom replied ."Hello!,  alyssa, I am here to inform you that the queen would like you to stay in the palace and get acquainted with prince Fred ." She said ."well! I would love that, that is if my mom would allow it ." alyssa said ."I would love that as well .'her mom said .she  signed the paper. And the director left.  alyssa was so taken aback by all of the day's events she went and had a bit of a nap

Meanwhile, Fred was not taking the news in the best m alyssar ." Grandma, you are not thinking properly ." he said ."My child you have never had an interaction with a girl, and no a daughter of a delegate does not count ." she said . " but Grandma." he said. " It is done and there is nothing I can do," she said. Fred left the tea and went to his room. This he thought was a rather unfair turn of events ." Who is this girl ? Does she even know me? Will I even like her ?" he thought. He thought the worst that could happen was another budget meeting but this was the worst. He had a slew of meetings and conferences to attend and he got to work on them.
 alyssa woke up from her little nap took a shower. She blow-dried her pixie hair and went down. Her mom was cooking something in the kitchen. "Mum! what are you cooking ?"   alyssa said ." something special for you ." her mum said. "I am going to study for a while,"  alyssa said. Just as she was about to go to her room the doorbell rang.  alyssa opened it. It was a daisy. " Hey!  Daisy what a surprise ."  alyssa said  ." Hey! Need to give you something."  Daisy  said  She   had a huge bag in her hand ." come in ."  alyssa said. "Oh! Honey who is it?" her mom asked"  Good evening Miss. Rosewood ." Daisy said ." mum me and daisy are in my room ."    alyssa said.  alyssa and daisy  sat on the bed ." Here you forgot your file in my locker . " daisy said." I wish you did not bring that."  alyssa said. "Why are you against this mission ?" Daisy said. "I am not against this mission,"  alyssa said. " I am just afraid ."She added ."anyways, here you go ."She said handing her the file.  alyssa opened up the file. There was a picture of a young man in a suit with the eyes of a perfect shade of green. The name was given below prince Fredrick. She had never seen a guy like him. He could be her prince charming. She  erased the last thought out of her mind." He was nothing but a mission ." alyssa thought . "you look peachy ?" Daisy  said ." no! I am okay."  alyssa said . " what is in those bags ?" she added ." These are some dresses for you ." daisy said ."Oh! You  did not have to ."  alyssa said. "trial time ." daisy said  alyssa tried out dress after dress. She looked wonderful in every one of them ."Your pixie hair cut does you a lot of favor."Daisy said. They tried on ample of more clothes. And daisy left.  alyssa had dinner with her mom and went to her room but sleep was far from her little eyes.

After finishing his interviews and meetings Fred went to his room. His brother and father were both waiting for him in his room. Oh! Father brother what a surprise." Fred said. "Well! we are here to give you this ." Jim his brother said. " More budget meetings ??" Fred said ."oh! No, it is the profile of the girl you are supposed to meet tomorrow ."  His father said. "Last thing I want ." He said in a low whisper ." It will be good for you. You have always been an introvert ." Jim said ."I am definitely not going to change ." Fred added.  His father and brother had an urgent matter to consult about. They left him alone. He opened the file. There was this picture of a girl maybe his age with a blond pixie hair cut looking regal in black. He was taken aback. He had never seen simplicity and beauty in one frame. He was now eager to meet this girl. " alyssa Rosewood . "  he read her name out loud. He went to the dining room to have dinner with his family. He was lost in her thoughts ." Fred, are you here?" his mother said in an unladylike m alyssar. "What ???"Fred said  ."have you read the file that  your dad gave you ?" She repeated." yes ." he said. There were no more conversations involving him since everyone knew he was in his dreams. He had his dinner when to his room and fell into a fit full sleep.

What Are the Best Ways to Prevent Bullying in Schools?
A new study identifies the most effective approaches to bullying prevention.

All 50 U.S. states require schools to have a bullying prevention policy.
But a policy, alone, is not enough. Despite the requirement, there's been a slight uptick in all forms of bullying during the last three years. Bullying can look like experienced basketball players systematically intimidating novice players off the court, kids repeatedly stigmatizing immigrant classmates for their cultural differences, or a middle-school girl suddenly being insulted and excluded by her group of friends.
Bullying occurs everywhere, even in the highest-performing schools, and it is hurtful to everyone involved, from the targets of bullying to the witnesses—and even to bullies themselves. October is National Bullying Prevention Month, so it's a good time to ask ourselves: What are the best practices for preventing bullying in schools? That's a question I explored with my colleague Marc Brackett from the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, in a recent paper that reviewed dozens of studies of real-world bullying prevention efforts.
As we discovered, not all approaches to bullying prevention are equally effective. Most bullying prevention programs focus on raising awareness of the problem and administering consequences. But programs that rely on punishment and zero tolerance have not been shown to be effective in the U.S.; and they often disproportionately target students of color. Programs like peer mediation that place responsibility on the children to work out conflicts can increase bullying. (Adult victims of abuse are never asked to "work it out" with their tormentor, and children have an additional legal right to protections due to their developmental status.) Bystander intervention, even among adults, only works for some people—extroverts, empaths, and people with higher social status and moral engagement. Many approaches that educators adopt have not been evaluated through research; instead, educators tend to select programs based on what their colleagues use.
We found two research-tested approaches that show the most promise for reducing bullying (along with other forms of aggression and conflict). They are a positive school climate, and social and emotional learning.
Building a positive school climate
School climate can be difficult to define, though possible to measure. It is the "felt sense" of being in a school, which can arise from a greeting, the way a problem is resolved, or how people work together; it is a school's "heart and soul," its "quality and character." Schools with a positive climate foster healthy development, while a negative school climate is associated with higher rates of student bullying, aggression, victimization, and feeling unsafe.

The elements of a positive climate may vary, but may often include norms about feelings and relationships, power and how it is expressed, and media consumption. Social norm engineering is a conscious process that builds a positive culture among student peers and school adults that becomes self-reinforcing. Like a healthy immune system, a positive school climate promotes optimal health and reduces the chances of dysfunction or disease.
Leadership is key to a positive climate. Is bullying minimized as a "normal rite of childhood," or is it recognized as the harmful peer abuse that it is? Do leaders understand that uninterrupted, severe bullying can confer lifelong negative consequences on targets of bullies, bullies, and witnesses? Are school leaders committed to promoting all children's positive psychological health, or do they over-rely on punishing misbehavior? Can they discern between typical developmental processes that need guidance versus bullying that needs assertive intervention? Are educators empathic to their students, and do they value children's feelings?
Next, are teachers prepared to deal with bullying? Students consistently report that teachers miss most incidents of bullying and fail to help students when asked. A majority of teachers report that they feel unprepared to deal with classroom bullying. Some teachers bully students themselves, or show a lack of empathy toward children who are bullied. Teachers report that they receive little guidance in "classroom management," and sometimes default to the disciplinary strategies they learned in their own families growing up.
However, reforming school climate should involve all stakeholders—students and parents, as well as the administrators and teachers—so a school's specific issues can be addressed, and the flavor of local cultures retained. School climate assessments can be completed periodically to track the impact of improvements.

Social and emotional learning (SEL) is well known, and involves teaching skills of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, responsible decision making, and relationships management. (Full disclosure: Brackett and I are affiliated with the SEL program RULER.)

Evidence-based SEL approaches have been shown to deliver cost-effective, solid results. Numerous meta-analyses, research reviews, and individual studies of hundreds of thousands of K-12 students show that SEL improves emotional well-being, self-regulation, classroom relationships, and kind and helpful behavior among students. It reduces a range of problems like anxiety, emotional distress, and depression; reduces disruptive behaviors like conflicts, aggression, bullying, anger, and hostile attribution bias; and it improves academic achievement, creativity, and leadership.
A study of 36 first-grade teachers showed that when teachers were more emotionally supportive of students, children were less aggressive and had greater behavioral self-control, compared to the use of behavior management, which did not improve student self-control. One meta-analysis showed that developing emotional competence was protective against becoming a victim of bullying; social competence and academic performance were protective against becoming a bully; and positive peer interactions were protective against becoming a bully-victim (one who has been bullied and bullies others). A series of longitudinal studies showed positive effects into midlife (e.g., fewer divorces, less unemployment) and even cross-generational effects of early SEL. Compared to a matched control group, the children of the adults who participated in the Perry Preschool Project had less criminal involvement and higher educational and employment achievement. A cost-benefit analysis of six SEL programs found them to be good investments, with $11 saved for every $1 spent.
Teachers also benefit from SEL. Those with emotional and social skills training have higher job satisfaction and less burnout, show more positive emotions toward their students, manage their classrooms better, and use more strategies that cultivate creativity, choice, and autonomy in their students. Teachers report that they want more SEL support to cultivate their own emotional and social skills, and to better understand their students' feelings. But few teacher training programs focus on growing the teachers' emotion regulation skills.
Bullying at different age levels
SEL approaches should be developmentally wise, since what is salient and possible for children changes at different ages.
For example, preschoolers are expelled from school at the highest rates of all, but the neurological hardware for their self-control is only just developing. Only then are the connections between the emotion circuitry and the more thinking regions of the prefrontal cortex beginning to be myelinated (insulated for faster connectivity), something that will take until the mid 20s to complete. An SEL program like PATHS or RULER that teaches young children language for feelings, and strategies for thinking before acting, can develop better self-regulation.
Sometimes, adults confuse normal developmental processes with bullying. For example, children begin to reorganize their friendships midway through elementary school, something that can naturally create hurt feelings and interpersonal conflict. It should not be misconstrued as bullying, though, which involves intentional, repeated aggression within an imbalance of power. Normal development also includes experimenting with power, and these normal dynamics should be guided safely toward developing a healthy sense of agency, rather than a hurtful exertion of power over someone else.
Finally, the onset of puberty marks the beginning of heightened sensitivity to social relationships, an especially important time to cultivate skills for kinder, gentler relationships. Unfortunately, this is the period when bullying spikes the highest. And while some strategies work well for younger children (for example, advising them to "tell a trusted adult"), this option may fail with teens, and the breakpoint seems to be around the eighth grade. Older teens require approaches that are less didactic and leverage their need for autonomy, while affirming their values and search for meaning. Physiologically, the brain changes during puberty confer a second chance for recalibrating their stress regulation system. That opportunity should be constructively seized.
Approaches should also take into account individual differences between children. Even SEL programs can stumble here, over-relying on just one or two emotion regulation strategies, like breathing or mindfulness. But children vary in their temperaments, sensitivities, strengths, and vulnerabilities. The best SEL approaches guide students toward discovering strategies that work best for them—strategies that are emotion- and context-specific, personalized, and culturally responsive. This approach requires unconventional flexibility on the part of the educators.

One of the teens with the bow and arrow suddenly got shot 2 times from the right side of the Forest in the right leg and fell on the floor crying for the other 3 teens to help him but when the black fog got to him, his voice got cut off.

All the teens swallow their saliva nervously and thought.' At least it wasn't me.'

"Did you see where the arrows come from!?!" Alex yelled at the now 3 teens while running for his life.

"Yeah, it came from the right side I think." A teen with short black hair and brown eyes with black glasses said while running.

We can see Isaiah see eating hot Cheetos and drinking Sprite sitting in his black game chair with sparkling eyes shining with interest.


"It's like I am watching an HD movie with war and drama and some unexpected romance." In the end, Isaiah looked a hologram showing two 18 years old a boy and a girl having some fun in a cave making him look at them with weird eyes.

Back at Isaiah's homeworld people called him The Messiah, The Messenger Of God, Son Of God, Humanity's Light, and many more. It's quite ironic if you ask him as his name is Isaiah the Isaiah who was best known as the Hebrew prophet who predicted the coming of Jesus Christ to salvage mankind from sin. What is vastly noticeable about him is that he lived 700 years before the birth of Jesus Christ. 

What gave Isaiah a good laugh was that his last name is Lucifer as the Devil. But most people did not care as he is their Messiah. Yes most not all as some
people did attempt to mess with him but let's say, Isaiah always needs some live targets for experimenting for his new serum he made after reading Marvel a long time ago with his grandpa. He basically made the super-soldier serum that will give people "Peak-Potential" and with a 0.0001 to give them greater-mutations than peak human capabilities.

When Isaiah made the serum he gave it to people who can afford it. But what the world doesn't know is that he already made a 2.0 version of the serum for himself! Yes, people will call his selfish but isn't everybody/everything selfish in their own right?

Isaiah can be called a demon as morality restraining him and his actions being a true opportunist at heart, therefore, he is able to betray and sacrifice anyone at will, regardless of their supposed relationship, as long as this action benefits him and yields a greater gain. Compared to other characters who are influenced by compassion as to not take action against weaker opponents, Isaiah is more than willing to take them on, only if the enemy is beyond his strength or ability would he mindfully retreats.

Isaiah initially appeared to be a very kind, well-respected Hero and was looked up to by the whole world. However, this was just a mask to disguise his manipulative, and very dangerous, nature. In truth, he cares very little for anything and is willing to use everyone around him as pawns to achieve his goals. He is willing to stop at nothing to further his ambitions, including manipulating or killing anyone if he deems it to be necessary. He frequently toys with everyone and everything for amusement.

To Isaiah, the world is his very own playground for his boredom and amusement. He always thought that something or someone gave him the world to do what he pleased with it.

When Isaiah was younger he was better at anything he did to the point that people started calling him a "Monster" " Abnormal Genius" " He who Is Gifted By God" " One In A Million Years Genius".

His parents Were both scientists and doctors as they were geniuses in their own right. His Father Ezekiel Lucifer loves technology so that's what he usually works on. His Father stayed huddle in his lab for months on end to just get his work right, you can call him a perfectionist. He did anything 100% within his capabilities. His father quote was." If you can't do something absolutely right, then don't do it at all." 

His Mother Artemisia Lucifer real last name Seraphim before marriage. His Mother loves helping people in need or just people themselves so she became a doctor helping anyone that will reach to her in need. Everyone describes her as an angel descending from the heavens helping Humanity and guiding them. His Mother is what you call a ball of sunshine and energy, a mixture of an Extraversion and an Agreeableness. She loves talking, sociable, and can draw energy from crowds with just her angelic voice She tend to be assertive and cheerful in her social interactions. She's a warmth and a kind person. People say she is trusting, helpful, and compassionate to anyone. If Isaiah describes his mother he'll describe her as an Angel, innocent and kind, and sometimes naive. His Mother's quote is." ~Somewhere With The Chieftain Orc~

On a large black wolf with red eyes, there is an Orc with a tan muscular build with two tusks and light yellow eyes wearing a black wolf fur and a hide of a black bear like armor holding a big black ax with some weird red markings running along with it.

This is Krorzuk Bloodheart the Chieftain Orc of the new Eastern Orc tribe. Krorzuk was always the strongest Orc and the Best at anything that involves War and taming. Krorzuk became the new Chieftain Orc because the last one is getting too old with only a little bit of lifespan left.

The only thing downside about Krorzuk is that he is all muscle and no brain. He will always rush in the battle with his Ax killing anything and anyone that opposes him and his tribe with all his effort. So he has his brother Olurm Bloodheart a battle strategies an Orc that loves reading and Magic, because of that, he was bullied when he was younger but they stop after Krorzuk had a 'good talk' with them.

" Krorzuk get back here we're not done planning!!" A light tan athletic Orc with light blue eyes riding a big gray wolf with blue eyes wearing a black scholar robe with red Outlines holding a black staff with blood-red Vines running through it, on top of the staff is a bright blood red Crystal sitting on it shining in an ominous manner.

" Olurm we have a plan so good back read your books Our Creator gave you," Krorzuk said looking at Olurm with a smile on his face.

Getting his wolf by Krorzuk and opening a medium-sized black book with a red cross on it Olurm said shaking his head." Krorzuk killing every human that you see is not a plan, well it is a plan but not the best one. Just give me some time and I will create a better one for us with fewer casualties." At first, he said signing but then at the end, he said in confidence still looking at his book with a big smile making the Orc's behind them shiver in fright for a quick second.

Krorzuk laughed and said looking at Olurm." Ok, you have 2hr's and stop making that expansion or my soldiers will not enough energy in them to fight to their heart's content."

All Olurm did was nod and started brainstorming a better plan.

Krorzuk just shook his head look at his brother and started thinking about something. 

After some time he heard a calm and beautiful voice in his head making his feel at peace with anything.

" Krorzuk I shall bestow you my blessing to you if you bring peace back to our Holy Lands." 

Looking around and seeing no one except his soldiers and his brother, Krorzuk said in his head." Creator is that you?"

He then heard a little chuckle in his head." Ho, as my fateful follows already forgotten me?" 

Krorzuk said rapidly in his head." No, my Creator, we will never have forgotten have you who is our light in the dark lending our path to Victory and salvation to everything and everyone."

After saying that he and his Creator starting talking about his old world much to his enjoyment.

~SomeTime Later Still With The Orc's In A Forests~

In the forest, we can see an Orc's squad with around the 50ish Orc's, and Lending them is Krorzuk who is getting bored and Olurm still has his nose in the book chuckling evilly now and of them. The Orc's in the back got used to it so they didn't shiver this time...well some did if you can notice it.

Before Krorzuk can bug Olurm again a light middle-aged Gray Orc with hazel eyes came riding in on a gray wolf with light yellow eyes. 

" Chieftain Krorzuk we found 10 humans about 2 minutes away running to the West in a haste." The middle-aged Gray Orc said respectfully with his head bowing a little in front of his Chieftain.

Without even saying anything Krorzuk started riding his wolf to the West. The rest of the orcs just gave a wry smile seeing their battle junkie Chieftain having a big smile.

Olurm said closing his book reluctantly." Brothers and Sisters let's go chase our Chieftain before he does something stupid." After saying that he said looking at his wolf." Let's go, Rina!" 

"Awooooooo!!!" Rina gave out a howl agreeing to her master and started sprinting to wear Krorzuk went.

The orcs looked at each other smiling and ran following Their Chieftain and Co-Chieftain.

It was the middle of summer in Jiangchuan.
Outside an industrial Zone in the suburbs, an orange scooter nimbly drove around a bend, then stopped steadily next to the security post of a "Pengda Toy Factory".
After parking the scooter and taking out the key, Meng Lang looked up at the big sign that read "Pengda Toy" on top of the factory building and felt at ease.
It had been nearly a month since he woke up in this parallel universe!
In the past month, Meng Lang was first alarmed, but gradually became surprised and wild with joy. The change in his mentality was tremendous.
He had been a most common director of TV series and thought he would live this life sucking up to investors and directing cheesy soap operas. Transmigration was the last thing he had ever expected!
He probably had a little too much to drink with his producer the other night and the street lamp was flickering overhead. He stepped onto a watermelon peel when he wasn't looking… Yes, a watermelon peel! Suddenly, he slipped and fell backward. The back of his head landed on a sharp brick on the sidewalk…
When he woke up, he was astonished when he realized that he was in the body of a young man in a parallel universe, who had just graduated from college.
The young man was called Meng Lang, which was identical to his original name. He had graduated from the computer science department of Jiangchuan University and was about to go back to his hometown to inherit the toy factory from his old man.
During the past month, Meng Lang combed through his current social connections and thanks to the convenience brought by the internet, he was able to find out the difference between this universe and the one he came from.
In simple terms, this world was identical to the one he came from in every way except for the literary and art circles…
Through some online research, Meng Lang was surprised to discover that some of the literature, movies, TV series, and animation works that existed in his universe were unheard of here. Instead, he found works here that he had no knowledge of. 
He was pleasantly surprised when he found out that different universes worked differently. This world attached great importance to intellectual property rights and piracy had been cracked down on to the point that these businesses had been wiped off the face of earth all together.
It gave him an opportunity to become the ultimate plagiarist!
After discovering that, Meng Lang could only think of one thing, which was to take advantage of the countless classic works he remembered and recreate all the literature, movies, and TV series in this world. That way, he would become an eminent writer and a great director who would get all the attention!
Once he was ready to put his plan into action, he realized something in embarrassment.
The premise of becoming a great plagiarist was that he could remember everything about his old world, which included reproducing verbatim all the books, songs, and scripts.
But… he wouldn't be able to do that. 
Take the books for an example; he had read more web novels than he could remember, but could at most only recall the general plot. It was impossible for him to make a complete copy of any of them. 
"Break through the Sky" was an awesome novel, wasn't it? He replayed the part where the protagonist broke off his engagement over a dozen times, but he couldn't even come up with a full paragraph.
So, bye bye to recreating books. But what about songs?
"What? I have to learn stuff first?"
That immediately discouraged Meng Lang. In fact, if he really were to go down the lane of music, with all the classic songs he could remember, he could create hit song after hit song with only general knowledge of them. 
The problem was that recreating songs wasn't profitable enough. He couldn't create tunes, so he couldn't sing them himself. If he were to sell a song, he would need a talent scout first, or he would only sell the songs for cheap.
After much consideration, Meng Lang finally decided what he would plagiarize!
Scripts! He would copy classic film and TV works from his previous life! He would be a writer-director!
It was the line of work he had been in. Although he was a director, he knew enough about screenwriting. After all, most of the time, the director who transferred words into images was the one who understood the script the best, rather than the screenwriter himself. 
Copying scripts wasn't difficult for Meng Lang, since he had watched ample films and TV works. Even if he couldn't recreate them to a tee, he could at least make 80% look-alikes.
After determining that he was going to become a "great director" by recreating existing scripts, Meng Lang began to consider what script would be the best. 
Movies?
It wouldn't work! He had watched the movies of this world. They weren't inferior by much to those made by Hollywood, if not of the same standard. Moreover, the script or story-telling wasn't even that important to a movie. The promotion campaign was the top most priority.
So what if the story was great? Without investment and promotion, the best film would remain unnoticed.
What if the film's hype was passed on by word of mouth? Could that lead to a soaring box office?
Who was he kidding? As someone who worked inside the circle, he recognized the sign of paid online ghostwriters promoting a film when he saw "great word of mouth".
It was possible for a film to reverse its box office performance because of excellent word of mouth, but as far as he knew, most of the sudden outbursts of public praise of films were false impressions created by PR, which derive from the fact that the production company lacked confidence in the films at an early stage and the PR decided to give it a trial run. If the trial indicated a great likelihood that the film would succeed, the PR would increase the promotion effort immediately, creating the aforementioned false impression.
He could get into films after he had earned some capital, which was something he didn't have at the moment.
The TV series became Meng Lang's first choice.
Big-budget productions were definitely out of the question. He wanted a low budget but high return.
Did such TV series exist?
The answer was yes!
"With the perfected copyright protection, peripheral products of films and TV works will definitely work!"
Ever since he knew how copyrights were so well protected in this world and that piracy had been destroyed once and for all, Meng Lang chose three scripts that would suit his plan the best!

But why did those three domestic feature shows have cheap special effects? The answer was simple.
It was because of their low costs and high returns!
The low cost was easy to obtain. After all, they were teen-friendly feature shows and the actors and actresses were all kids. It would cost him a couple hundred thousand yuan to hire all of them and he could also go easy on the already cheap special effects, making it even cheaper.
Most people probably didn't understand the "high return" part, but with a toy factory as his "family business", Meng Lang had a thorough understanding of peripheral products of films and TV works in this world.

What about Pengda Toy Factory?
With the cost of 10 yuan, plus the distribution channel, transportation, tax, labor cost, etc., although the toys were sold at 30 yuan each, they earned less than 5 yuan for each toy sold!
A world without piracy was just this frightening!
Meng Lang had decided to produce those three teen-friendly feature shows because of that realization.
Explosive Boys and Balala the Fairies had too many special effects. Even if they were all cheap effects, the expense would still be immense.
In comparison, Blazing Teens was the most ideal one. All that had to be done was to add some shiny effects to the yo-yos and throw in an embarrassing narrator, then the show was done!
Making the show itself wouldn't be all that profitable, but some friends would be made in the process. "I don't care if you watch it. As long as you buy my yo-yos, we're the best buddies!"
That thought settled Meng Lang's mind. With the script of Blazing Teens in his hand, he walked in.


Meng Lang wakes up in a parallel universe as a fresh graduate only to realize that Pengda Toy Factory—his family business—is on the verge of bankruptcy. So, he decides to do what he does best (in his previous life) to save the day—making TV shows.
Apparently, this alternative reality where piracy has been annihilated can be a paradise for spin-off merchandise, but no production company has made good used of this opportunity until Meng Lang shows up.
Blazing Teens, the first feature show Meng Lang directs ("borrowed" from his original universe, to be more precise) introduces yo-yos to this world for the first time. Once he realizes how profitable it is to sell spin-off toys, he becomes an expert in it.
Balala the Fairies, Explosive Boys, Kamen Rider… Meng Lang is determined to become “King of feature shows” in this world. Although, to the critics, he is nothing but a toy vender…

when Sky and Arianna first came here Sky gave me several books that I was told I "MUST" read. So over the last nine months I have been reading them all. A lot of them have been very boring. I have fallen asleep a lot trying to read them. But this latest book has been very interesting. It seams I need a personal guard. As well as a home guard. I don't know if I have to set this up now or later though. I guess I need to talk to sky about it. Now I have so many questions, I just don't know when would be the best time to do it. We have been working so hard with the training we never seem to have free time anymore. I think this is also one of the things I need to bring up. I know Sky is our queen but I am afraid everyone will be worked to death preparing for the upcoming war and not survive the passage back to the dragon lands. I know I need it bring it up soon. I think I should do it at breakfast. Right now I think I should go to bed. 
Beep beep  beep.....
Oh my Lord some days I just want to throw the alarm out the window. okay so I need to get ready for the day. today I graduate. I am so excited. Tonight is the party. I get to introduce my new friends to my other friends. Arianna said as long as none of them were vampires everyone would make it through the shields just fine. Now that it's here I can't believe it is happening. I am so excited. But I have to make sure to talk to everyone about my issues. Oh I smell bacon, time to eat.
Once I was downstairs Mom, Sky, Arianna all say good morning. We all sit down to eat, once the food is passed around mom starts talking about the plans for the day, all three women are so excited, I think they are more excited than I am. After they get the day planned out Sky starts talking about training, and that's when I realized it was time to talk.
" Um Sky I have a few questions about the training and a few other things, is this a good time or should we do it later?"
"No honey this is fine, what are your thoughts on the subject? What are your questions?"
"Well I was thinking about it last night, I know we have to train but I think we need to take a little time off as well. It's not good to work everyone to death before we go through the portal. I don't want our people tired from the training and then go through the portal. If they are already tired the traveling through the portal will make that worse. Look at how tired you to were when you first came through. I just don't want to put anyone at risk. besides I still remember the dream where we walk through and die on the other side. also I know we need to train, but we have not had a day off till today, and I don't want everyone to start resenting us for over working them.i think we should do two or three days off a week so the people can have family time and just unwind a little. I think we should have a group meeting to see what days everyone wants off. That way they have a choice in it. Also I think birthdays and holidays should be a day off, but only major holidays. But you know couples will want Valentine's day, and parents will want mothers day and fathers day off. Or for those days We can do the training earlier in the day. But again We can ask everyone and see what they think about it. We have nine teens that have not had time to be themselves since they go here. No one is complaining about it but as a teen myself I feel it might be coming, and think it's best to stop it before it happens."
Now the whole time I am talking I am looking only at Sky, but when I stop talking she looks at the other two women and smiles. 
" I told you she would make a great queen, she has thought this through. She thinks about her people's thoughts and feelings, and she puts the pro's and con's out there for you to decide. She also wants to involve the people in the decisions. These are the makings of a great queen."
Everyone was smiling then they all look at me, one by one everyone gets up and gives me a hug. Then mom says," We are so proud of you, you are doing so well with everything. I love you."
Arianna says," Sweetheart you are doing great, not only with your studies, but with everything. We are so proud of you, we love you so much, so proud of you."
Sky says,"After breakfast I will call Gabriel and tell him to call a meeting and we will talk to everyone about your thoughts. I think you will make them all very happy as well. Now what else would you like to talk about?"
"Well as you know I have been reading the books you gave me. I am currently working on the book that talks about me choosing my personal and home guard. Now my first question is, Since you are still queen do I need to do either one of those? And second we don't have that many people left how would that work?"
"I love your questions today, like I said you will make a wonderful queen. Now I think you should choose a personal guard now. It should be three to five people you really trust. It can be either adults or the teens. As far as the home guard I think it's best to choose them after this war is over."
"Okay so I already know two people I want as my personal guard, Destiny and Star. They are both awesome fighters and can keep their cool when under stress. As for the others I need to think."
"That sounds like a good idea. Always think carefully about who is going to help protect you. And I think the girls are a great choice. Do you have any other questions?"
"Not right this moment but I probably will soon. And we should probably finish breakfast so we can get our day moving."
Everyone agreed with me on that part. So we finished breakfast then went out to talk to the community. I also asked Destiny and Star to be the first two members of my personal guard. They were very excited and both said yes. Then we listened as Sky told everyone about my ideas for days off.

Only one child every 5000 years is born with the power to destroy or rebuild the magical world. The only problem is both sides good and evil want the child. This is the year for it to happen. Ten family's have children born under the right sign. And all of them want the power.

When they entered the lobby of the inn, Jack saw Shi Furui berating Zhu Lielei and a couple of teens from her village. He frowned, told the rest of his squad to do whatever they wanted, and walked up to them. 

Shi Furui gave Jack a nod of greeting and continued his admonishments of the teens "In addition of staying in your rooms for the rest of our time here, will not get any food today as punishment." 

Jack waited for Shi Furui to finish, then asked him "What happened?" 

The two Redwood teens had the good grace to look ashamed and lower their gazes, only Zhu Lielei kept her eyes locked on Shi Furui's while the intent to argue radiated out of her. 

Shi Furui kept his gaze locked on Zhu Lielei and said "I went to the bathroom for a few minutes while Yin Ping went to your room to get it sorted out and Ma Ruiman got distracted by a barmaid. During that time, these three sneaked outside against your orders." 

As soon as he finished, Zhu Lielei's brows furrowed in anger and she objected with "We didn't go outside, we stayed in the doorway!" She turned to look at Jack and added "We just wanted to see the buildings and people outside, but we listened to you and stayed in the inn." 

Jack's own brows furrowed for a second before he sighed and patted Shi Furui on the shoulder as he said "Thank you for your vigilance, Furui. Leave them to me and go get your things settled." 

After a second of glaring at Zhu Lielei, Shi Furui nodded his head in acquiescence and left towards the stairs for the upper floors. 

Jack glanced at the three teens, ordered "Follow me.", and started walking towards the dining hall of the inn. 

There, Jack sat down on one side of a long table, while the three teens sat down on the other. A few people started to fill up the hall by now, but most of the tables still stood empty. 

As soon as they sat down a barmaid came and asked for their orders. Jack ordered a bottle of the local wine for himself and waved her off. 

Only after she came back with the bottle and he downed a full cup, did Jack break the silence with "Disobey my explicit orders like that again and I will cut all ties with you." 

The two teens had frightened looks replace their chagrined ones, only Zhu Lielei kept a bit of the fight in her own. Fear and anger battled for a couple of seconds in her eyes before anger won out and she said through her teeth "We didn't disobey your orders. I told you that we only stood in the doorway of the inn and looked outside." 

Jack gave her a level gaze while he poured himself a drink. Only when she looked down in guilt, did he start talking "Ignoring the spirit of the order is the same as ignoring the order itself, don't pretend that you don't understand a simple concept like that." 

He downed his drink and continued "What do you think would have happened if you became a little more curious and took a few steps along the street just to see a bit more of the city? What if you ran into an unknown cultivator? I don't mean in a confrontational sense, I mean he just saw you standing in his way. What do you think would have happened?"

The three teens exchanged looks for a second, and then the oldest of them proposed "He would have stopped us and took us back to the inn?" 

As soon as he finished his sentence, Jack snorted and gave him a mirthless chuckle. After a few seconds of silence, he explained "In the best case scenario he would just curse you out and frighten you enough to go back to the inn. Most of them would just beat you for not knowing your place as a favor to me. Others would just make you disappear and we would have never heard of you again." 

The three teens had furrowed brows and hints of doubt in their eyes by the end of his explanation, a few seconds later Zhu Lielei spoke up "Why would they do that? We spend our time around cultivators all the time and none of them treat us any different. I've even served you drinks while you talked to the ones that visited our camp yesterday, none of them behaved like what you described." 

Jack's face spread into a wide grin, half because his men didn't turn to bastards as soon as they left the Endless Cycle Sect and half because he found their innocence amusing. 

A second later, his expression turned back to a serious one as he declared "That's because we're not normal cultivators, we're something… different. I know that you won't believe everything I say right away, just give it time and you'll see for yourself. All I ask is that you remember what your mothers taught you about acting towards 'Immortals' when you have any kind of contact with cultivators outside of the Immortals' Lament." He stopped and looked each of them in the eyes, before asking "Can you do that much?" 

The three teens exchanged looks and gave him solemn nods. 

Jack gave them a pleased smile and said "Great. Now go to your rooms, you can only exit them for meals and when you need to go to the toilet. Today you aren't allowed to have any meals so spend it with practicing English." 

The trio's eyes widened in disbelief, and Zhu Lielei started to complain "But I told you…" 

Jack's face turned dark as he interrupted her "You disobeyed orders! Do not tempt me to cut your meals to one a day." 

That killed any complaints they had ready to throw at him, and could only accept the punishment with a sullen nod of acknowledgment. 

Jack shook his head as he watched their defeated postures while they climbed up the stairs and thought 'Ah to be young and dumb once more…' After a few seconds of reminiscing, he poured himself a third cup. 

The rest of the Immortals' Lament's stay in the White River Outpost passed without any major incidents. 

Once the rest of the company saw that Jack punished the first trio, none of them wanted to cross him. The rookies heard about what Jack told the trio and decided to keep to their best behavior while in the city. 

A few times a normal person strayed a bit too far away from a cultivator and almost got into trouble with a cultivator, but soon either Jack or one of his men would show up and clear the thing up. Having old Long as someone with a higher cultivation than most of the people in the inn helped out too. 

On the day their ship was supposed to set sail, the Immortals' Lament got up before dawn and had their breakfast. They packed their things the night before, so when they finished eating they set out towards the White River Outpost's harbor. 

When they got to the large gate that led to the harbor, a long line of people already stood and waited to go in. The guards at the gates examined everyone so it took a long time to go through.

Jack used old Long's cultivation to go up to near the top of the line so they only had to wait for an hour. 

When they got to the top of the line, the guards wouldn't let them through without checking everything they carried, even their Star Bags. Old Long looked like he wanted to argue, but Jack signaled to just let them do it. 

Jack's Star Bag didn't have anything too strange in it, but old Long's still had the corpses of the two Slaughtering Sword School disciples. That made them hold up the line for a few minutes until old Long managed to convince them that the corpses didn't belong to anyone from the city. After they confirmed his claim the guards didn't seem to care and let them through. 

Most of the Immortals' Lament people had their eyes wide during the entire way from the inn as they gawked at everything around them, but they remembered Jack's warnings and kept their mouths shut. 

Once they went down the long stairs for several minutes, the group reached the landing that held the tunnel to the harbor. When they entered the harbor proper, Jack's people couldn't hold themselves back from exclaiming about the wonder of it all. 

Jack let them enjoy the sight for a minute before he told them to stay quiet and follow him and old Long to the largest ship in the harbor. 

All of the ships had people in golden robes preparing them, while a few passengers waited in lines in front of their chosen ships. Jack saw some people pass the lines and present something to a member of the White River family standing guard in front of the ship's gangplank. Once they did, the gold-robed person would let them get on the ship.  

A line that stretched out of the main doors formed in the building where Jack and his squad went to get their reservations previously. 

Ma Ruiman leaned over to Jack and whispered "Looks like that kid did us a favor." 

Jack nodded his head and said "I wonder why more people don't reserve spots." 

Just as he said that he heard a man yelling "I have a reservation; you cannot just refuse passage to people that have paid for reservations!" 

Jack turned and saw a man trying to board a small ship. The White River family member in front of him barred his way to the ship while he said "We are full. You can come back in twenty days for the next trip, or go buy passage on one of the other ships." 

The man looked like he wanted to argue some more, but once he glanced at the glares of the White River family members around him, he ducked his head and went to stand in the line for the large building. All of the people in line for that ship quickly moved to others.

Jack frowned and quickened his company's steps towards the large ship. 

A long line of people stood outside of it already, but Jack and old Long ignored it as they marched up to the front and presented their reservation token to the man standing there. 

The White River family member took it and did something to disperse the imbuement that the middle-aged man from the large building did. He looked up at old Long and asked "Thirty-seven people, is that right?" 

Old Long nodded his head in confirmation and signaled to Jack on the side that he couldn't read the man's cultivation. 

The man didn't seem to notice as he turned to look over his shoulder and shouted "Do we have room for thirty-seven more people?" 

Several seconds later, a young sailor popped his bald head out and yelled "We can squeeze them in, Uncle." 

The man nodded his head and turned to back to look at old Long as he said "Welcome aboard the Unbreakable Fortress. Go up the gangway and talk to my nephew up there, he will fill you in on what we expect of you on this trip." As he said that he didn't move out of the way and extended a hand out with his palm upwards. 

Old Long didn't even blink as he took out a large pouch out of his Star Bag and placed it in the waiting hand. Jack saw a shimmer of spirit energy, and a couple of seconds later the man nodded his head and moved out of the way. 

Jack and Old Long led the way up to the ship and the rest of the Immortals' Lament followed in their wake. 

As soon as they stepped foot on the Unbreakable Fortress, the bald sailor from before greeted them with "Hello passengers, please follow me to your accommodations." With that, he turned around and walked through the mass of bustling sailors towards a hole in the top deck of the ship. 

Jack and old Long exchanged glances, then followed after him. 

The hole in the deck had stairs connected to it that led to the levels below. It took a couple of minutes for the bald sailor to lead them all three decks down to a large space that was half-filled with people already. 

He turned to old Long and declared "These are your quarters for the next thirteen days." When he saw the frown on old Long's face he gave a sly smile and said "Cultivators of grade four and up can pay for better accommodations, of course. Just talk to any of the sailors and they will point you towards the right person."

When no one jumped on his offer immediately he shrugged his shoulders and concluded "Anyone below grade four does not have permission to go to the upper decks. If we find such a person, depending on his station, we will either punish them with labor or will throw them into the River. You have been warned." With that, he went around the company and up the stairs to the top deck.

Jack turned to his men with a sour smile on his face and declared "Make yourself at home people; we're stuck here for a while so try to make the best of it." 

He received a few grumbles as they spread out across the cramped space and waited for the ship to begin their journey.

Cultivating Civilizations are horrible places for people to live. 

Abducted from his retirement, Jack was placed into such a world. 

He has two options. Either he can follow the traditions of the world and kill his way to the top, or try to change the world into one where people don't have to.

Charlotte stood completely still after she watched what Zuhn had just done. 

_I'm just an outer disciple how can I deal with what Zuhn just did?_

Zuhn walked out of the house and returned to the streets. His body was covered in blood. Scar and Charlotte both stood inside, both of them didn't know what to do.

In front of the two, they saw a monster brutality kill two powerful Silver Ranked people. Even if Charlotte's whole branch in the region went against the two, they wouldn't kill them.

Both Scar and Charlotte begin to kill up while Zuhn was wondering the streets.

In the streets, the people of Hencewood were getting ready to welcome the sect of the region. The sects name was "Windwood" they were a pretty well-known sect around the region. 

The Windwood sect was on the more powerful side of the region. They weren't the best but they weren't the worst either. Students from all over the town were training and getting ready for the annual fighting competition. 

The rules of the competition were the people participating at to be under 17 teen years old. The young master and also some promising teens in the area were all looking forward to the competition.

The talk about Zuhn disappeared from the town. Everyone was too focused on the fight that was coming up.

Many people knew if the sect found a good student in the competition they were invited them to try and join their sect. If someone was really good they were instantly accepted as an outer-disciple. 

Besides the Windwood Sect, there was the Dark Star and Overwhelming Wind. These three sects were the main powers in the region. The sects were ranked on how many experts they possessed. For example, Dark Star was ranked a 1-star sect. 

1 Star sects were the average in the region, while Overwhelming was a 1.5 star. Windwood was a solid 2-star sect. Two-star sects were rare, but once you got farther inland two-star sects were common.

Not a lot of people have left the Ziom continued, so people don't really know what lays outside of it. 

The competition was starting the next day, everything was up. Because the three main sects were coming into town. There were more guards, the security was extremely tight.

The guards were all around Bronze 2-5. They were pretty powerful. No normal human was going to try and mess with them. With the three main guilds, there were multiple Silver Experts and a couple Silver Masters. Though, most of the members were around Late Bronze stage.

Back at the slums, Zuhn was wondering the streets. Many of the people chose not to mess with him. Because all they saw was a teen covered in blood walking down the street. 

His expression explained it all, there wasn't an expression. The teen wasn't sad or happy. He was just emotionless.

After awhile Zuhn found his way to a small pond. The pond was slightly dirty, but Zuhn needed to clean off the blood.

Zuhn sat in the pond for about ten minutes cleaning himself off. Once he was done he put back on his clothes and looked around the slums. Soon enough he found a couple of teen around his age.

They all had clean clothes on. Zuhn's face let off a small smile as he approached the teens. The teens at first didn't care about the teen approach. Considering there was five of them, they weren't afraid.

However once Zuhn got closer they could feel the aura of a strong person. They quickly tried to run away, though it was too late. The teen already was very close to them.

"I just want some clothes."

The teen in front of the boys was calm. Two of the teens in the ground nodded their heads. While the other three weren't too scared of the man.

"Come to get them." The three boys lived in the slums, they fought for what they had. They weren't going to let this teen just steal their clothes.

All three of the teen's heads hit the ground. The two boys standing behind them jumped in horror. They both looked at the man, quickly taking off their clothes.

Zuhn picked up the clothes as he watched the two teens run away naked down the streets of the slums.

The next day quickly came about. Charlotte and Scar both finished cleaning up the house and were ready to reopen for business.

"Charlotte, why don't we go find Zuhn?"

"He won't be coming back for quite some time, let him be by himself."
Charlotte knew that someone that powerful was not going to be in the town for long. If Zuhn was related to one of the sects, then he should be leaving for the competition that day.

Scar was kinda sad, but he knew Charlotte was very smart. He chose not to continue speaking on the topic. 

Zuhn now had a fresh new pair of clothes, he also left the slums. He was walking around looking at all of the new guards that were placed around the town.

_What is going on? Are they all looking for me?_

Before Zuhn could finish thinking, loud horns blew from the middle of the town. Zuhn didn't notice it before, but there was a small arena. Inside there were thousands of people in the stands. 

Outside above the arena, a sign read, 'Fighting Competition… Winners get a chance to join one of the three great sects!' Zuhn didn't really care for the message. Though, he really wanted to kill a couple more people.

Zuhn walked inside the arena, inside were multiple people. Some had armor while others were not wearing anything like him. He could sense auras around him. Although, they were super powerful.

There were a couple people that stood out to Zuhn. In the back of the arena, there was a young teen that looked to be around 15 teens that were meditating. 

When the young teen felt Zuhn's gaze he opened his eyes. The two teens locked eyes as they both tried to access each other's strength.

A beautiful teen walked up to Zuhn holding out a piece of paper. "Sir! Are you going to be fighting today?" She holding multiple papers, "Uh... Yes." Zuhn nodded.  

Zuhn took the piece of paper from the teen and looked down at it. There were three main rules, '1. Three Judges must watch/score the fight for the fight to be valid. 2. There is no fee to join the fighting competition, but if you lose you must pay two silver coins. 3. You can not kill your opponent unless it was unintentionally.'

When Zuhn looked at the rules they were quite simple. Remembering back, he saw on the sign outside that three sects were coming to watch the fight. Also, if he won he would be able to join one of the sects.

He started to get a little interested in the fighting competition. Bells and horns rang out, everyone turned their heads to the street.

"Okay kids! I want you to run around the building five times and you can not take a single break during this run!" Cyrus instructed them. Dread swept across the faces of every student in the vicinity. Some complained and others began to run around the building. 
"Did I stutter?! Get moving!" he yelled. The sudden outburst frightened the rest of the complainers and they began running faster than they had ever ran before. There was just something about this person that motivated, yet, scared the living hell out of everyone. 
"It's like he's running a boot camp…" Roy managed to say. He couldn't remember the last time he did some cardio. 
"It really is! Though I feel like this is nothing to me." Erin smiled running past her big brother. Roy looked at her with amazement. Where did that energy come from? Surely, he's not getting that old. He brushed it off as his baby sister being excited to finally do something more than sit at a desk all day. 
Cyrus gazed at the young girl making her laps as if it were nothing. He couldn't help but think, 'That's my girl'. He silently wished he could tell her right then who he was, however, thought it best not to. It did bother him though. For now, he would watch her this way. This is the best way he could make sure no one hurt his child. 
"I see all of you are starting to finish up your laps, so when you do, come get a drink and take a breather before our next warm-up!" He walked over towards a table he prepared water on. 
"That was a warm-up?" Caleb managed to breathe. The demon forgot how determined his general was when preparing his underlings. 
"You say something?" Cyrus looked over at him knowingly.
'I forgot he could hear well, too…" He sighed. 
After the teens had rested up, Cyrus led them over to an open field showing the reason for his own tardiness to class. Large tires on the ground military style. A crawl space with barbed wire was set up, as well. A tall wall with built in rocks was placed past the crawl space. Beyond that, there was a moat filled with mud the students would have to push through. Finally, there was a flag about half a mile down the field where after all the other areas have been passed, they had to get to. This demon general had set up an old-style military camp!
Caleb was astounded. How did Cyrus manage to pull this off in such little time? Not to mention, why did the general set everything up military style? What exactly was the point here? 
"As all of you can see, today we are learning the basics of military training. I want all of you to see what your ancestors had to do before going to war in the past. This is a test of endurance and intelligence." He started walking towards the flag. "I'm going to give you all about twenty-five minutes to make it to the flag. Those who do not make it will have to try again tomorrow. The rest will be given a reward. On the count of three," he continued walking, 
"One…" The bewildered children readied themselves.
"Two…" 
"Three!!!" The kids took off. Some of them were having trouble figuring out how to get over the ridiculously big tires. Others jumped over each one like rabbits. Roy was in the front, now. Erin was small so it took her a little more time to get over the tires. Caleb wasn't far behind Roy. He wouldn't let a mere human beat him. 
Underneath the wires were about seven of the teens and that is where the real struggle began. They couldn't understand how to get through without being on their hands and knees. Caleb made it in front of Roy. Elbows moving fast and feet pushing forward. Erin and Roy noticed how Caleb was getting through and followed suit. Then the ones who weren't far behind began to figure it out. 
Over the wall was a breeze for Erin. She had been climbing anything she could since she was first able to walk. Roy stared up at the wall. He was not a heights person. With three other students pushing past him, he finally began to climb up. Caleb was already over and into the mud moat. This is where Caleb began to slow down. 
"You have 4 minutes left to get to this flag!" Cyrus shouted.
In a panic, the students all tried to speed up the efforts. More than half of them was still trying to climb the wall or were even further back. Erin and Caleb barely made it out of the mud within seconds of each other. Roy was just getting into the mud. 
Cyrus started counting back from ten. 
"There is no way we are going to make it to half a mile before these ten seconds are up!" Caleb huffed out. 
"We still have to try!" Erin kept running attempting to speed up.
"And... zero." Erin and Caleb flung themselves at the flag. Both face first into the ground. They looked at each other hoping they made it. Dust was still flying in the air around them so they couldn't see if they made it around the flag. 
They nodded to each other and decided to count to each other to see if they made it.
"Three… Two…." 
"One!" Both Caleb and Erin looked up, the dust finally clearing around them. They finally see Cyrus' steel-toe boots and the flag's bottom. They were still about two feet away from their goal. Feeling defeated they face planted the ground beneath them. 
"Are you serious? How did we not make it in time?" Caleb complained. Erin just looked up and stared at the flag in pure disappointment. They were so close, but not close enough to be rewarded for their efforts. They both sat up and stared in wonder. The students behind them felt worse for the two friends. They saw the moment both teens flew into the air as if they were the new Superman and Supergirl they had read in comics from a long time ago. It seemed like slow motion to them. What used to be cheering had turned into dead silence. 
"Now, don't look so down. I was not expecting anyone to make it today. We will try again tomorrow, and we will keep trying until every one of you have made it to this flag. Each day someone else will make it past the flag. Your efforts were not wasted today. I can see the determination on all your faces. The best you can do today, will always be better the next. Everyone must go get cleaned up and we will head back inside to finish the rest of the day's studies." Cyrus spoke like a true leader.
