Plague, Hunger, Famine... these are three things that caused problems for the Four Kingdoms. In lanes 1-4, there isn't really anyone of note; just some boys aged 7-10. The 10 year olds have a very distinct advantage in that they're most likely taller and their muscles may be more developed.

Also, 10 year olds are more used to roughhousing, making their skin near impenetrable.

This has nothing to do with swimming but it's a neat fact.

In lane 7 however, I feel like I recognize that girl...hmmmm, maybe when she starts swimming I'll remember her? I can usually know who the female swimmer is on the Olympics Channel with the way they swim.

For example, Jakabos, one of the ho- best female swimmers has long arms; this means that her movements are wider, more powerful and not as sharp. Her elbows bend a bit more as well.

For me, I'm personally fine with it and have been training without goggles with Seung-ri Jim for about 3 months to get used to it. Other children, however?

It's very hard not to laugh but I need to try! Holding on is key to developing a relationship with Coach K. 

Even though swimming isn't a team sports, you still need to show some decency when handling teammates. In fact, there was this one story where a disgruntled teammate was repeatedly bullied and harassed by this better swimmer.

The bully swimmer was able to get to the FINA finals while the bullied swimmer was eliminated at the quarterfinals. Annoyed and jealous, right before the swim, she broke into the other swimmer's hotel room and smashed up her legs.

That ruined both of their careers. Literally no chance at redemption all becuase you decided to call a kid a "poopy-head" in 3rd grade and called them "dumdum" in middle school.

You feel good about it now? That the little name calling will get you forever ruined from the legs down, huh? Think about it...

[that's such an isolated case that it's stupid you even mention it. However! I need to agree. Respect your teammates and they will respect you. It costs nothing to be nice]

Ignoring the haters by focusing my entire attention to the race, looking at lane 7 and lane 3 as both of them are the quickest so far from off the bat.

Both look like they have great technique. Sharp elbows, thumb in first and kicks never above the water. They look very promising.

The other lanes: lane 4, lane 5 and lane 8, are all mediocre. Well, at least they are still young. This age is the perfect age for improving your swimming. 

Despite the fact that they suck so much that a person with cerebral palsy with 10 kilogram weights could out swim them, they are fairly good for their age.

Right now in this race, it's a 100 meter freestyle. The pool is 25 meters long meaning that it's 2 laps; back and forth.

It's like watching two of the best people compete against each other: Senna v. Prost, Rosberg v. Hamilton and Celtics v. Lakers just to name a few.

Imagine that but much, much, much slower than Formula 1 cars or basketball games. These are kids who having even lived a decade, give them a break.

By the 2nd lap, both of them are dead tired but they keep on going. Their grit is immense that's for sure. Most 8-9 year olds can't even continue after one lao and these kids are crushing it!

On the return back to the starting point, both are constantly breathing on both sides, even taking little rests. The girl on lane 7 is almost crying while the boy is clutching his stomach.

Honestly, I don't think this is what coach K intended. If you are going to make a bunch of barely children swim 100 meters and expect them to finish, you'd be dead wrong. Wrong and stupid. Stupid and wrong.

Lanes 4, 5 and 8 are all so tired they are just floating in the pool and trying to get out; they quit after reaching 3/4ths of the first lap.

Lane 7 comes in first and then lane 3. Coach K's stopwatch showed us that the girl on lane 7 got a time of 1:39.56. In all honesty, that is an absolutely stunning time. For her age and for that distance, not many can do it.

The boy was no slouch either, clocking in at 1:45.32. Both are amazing times don't get me wrong and I'll probably see them in competitions in the future. But...hard work is nothing in face of talent! And I have both!

Feelie interrupts my feel good streak by saying I don't have talent! Again! I recall his words and get a bit agitated. You mean to say I didn't work hard? You little system! I worked hard!

Thinking about his words more however, I realize something...he is getting more and more like me! Before, he used to be more modest and polite with his insults, calling me "scoundrel" and "rascal".

I ignore him and focus on the next match and the encouraging words of Coach K. Honestly, as a coach, his skills on pep talks and motivational speeches are top notch.

Some of the best coaches are even better at motivating their pupils than at the damn sport. Some examples of this are Rob Ryan of the Cowboys, Rex Ryan of the Jets and so on.

I know one word you could say, your honor, and that is "Guilty"!!!

Coach K goes over to the two troopers gives them a big pat on their backs. After all, they deserve it after showing their perseverance.

Now I realize who Mi-sun is; a bronze medalist at ASEAN. Despite her "only" getting a bronze medal, that's much, much better than most people out there. She is incredibly talented and from the news interviews, has a great personality.

She stopped swimming after she got 6th in the recent ASEAN in my previous life and settled down to marry some chaebol with a fake-ass hairline, obviously tucked in stomach and Botox inflated lips.

Like a damn kendoll! Look at me! My hair is so much thicker than his even when I was 40 and bald! I honestly felt bad for her but checking the stock market, I didn't feel too bad anymore.

Over the past year and a half I've been able to train up some of my stats. I also gain two more passive skills that i feel will help me out a lot in the future. Adachi also took note of my rapid process of growing up compared too the other kids. which as i have learned the other kid that i though was looking at me angrily was actually jealous of the attention i was getting and has been trying to sabotage me recently ever sense he could crawl.
the one responsible was Kanai the little brat. hes been tripping me and pretending to cry like I hurt him to get me in trouble. which is how i was able to gain the regeneration ability but when i wasn't being bullied by Kanai i was outside running or in the corner pretending to play with toys while secretly trying to develop my muscles. as for the other baby she was quite most of the time and was a neutral party, but she never told Sora, or Adachi that i was the one being bullied by kanai and not the other way around. As for the other kids, they were already spreading bad rumors but once Kanai  was able to speak the just out rite avoided me.
As for what they looked like now Kanai had blond hair that was rough and not to long with green eyes and a pointy chin. As for shizuko she has deep brown hair and is the same with the eyes with a small nose.
I also learned that Sora had a quirk but it was really weak and wasn't able to do much. all she was able to to was create a slight triqle of water from her finger tips.
besides being bullied and turned into a loner with his only friend being Sora nothing else happend but he doesn't mind. he's gonna be a villain any way so why should he care. but he has to keep the facade that he is still a child.
"Sora why do the other kids avoid me so much. You and Adachi are so nice to me yet Kanai and the other kids either bully me or avoid me." said Kamino as he was attempting watery eyes while looking at Sora while they were walking over to the cafeteria to where all the other kids were.
"Oh Kamino the other kids don't hate you they just no used to kids your age being so strong and fast, i mean you only two and you know how to read and write. your even as fast as kids 3 times your age." Sora was saying trying to cheer him up.
[pilots were always known to be faster and more sturdier then others, but you are still a normal child so you should see this as a great feat]
"But what do you mean the kids have been bulling you." Sora asked confused cause she hasn't seen other kids near him besides Kanai and Shizuko.
"is it one of the other kids that are with you in the study room"
"yeah, Kanai keeps pushing me and taking my toys"
"Ok i'll have a talk with him and see if i can have him stop. oh i should also let you know that sense its your 2nd birthday that we are moving you to your own room like all the other kids. I'm sure its pretty cramped in that crib. sorry we couldn't do it sooner".

Its currently a few hours before i awaken my quirk, however instead of being exited i cant help but think about what Don said, "I put in a surprise". Something just feels off about it that i cant put my finger on.
~oh well it's not like i can change it. just got to live with what i get. maybe ill be able to summon my titan finally i tried a few of times but it didn't work at all~
as for how I know that the quirk will be in a few hours is the fact that he said when i turn 3-4 and seeing that its my 4th birthday tomorrow it would be logical to say that's when it will be arriving. Although i don't plan on summoning my titan until I've trained my body a lot more. speaking of which here are my new stats.

i was outside in the yard working out and stretching around noon like i always did after lunch. while i was doing so Kanai was walking up to me with his little gang he made up with him as the leader somehow. the group had 2 three year olds, one 4 year old and 1 five year old not including Kanai who at the time was the same age as men at 3 and a half.
while he was walking up to me it was hard not to notice the smirk he and the other kids were carrying on there faces as they were walking up to me. once they were close enough Kanai started the conversation.
"hey you want to play heroes and villains with us, after all you got no one else to play with you. you should be grateful." he says the most villainy remark i have ever heard from a child while his smirk grows even wider.
~And i thought i was supposed to be the villain. well in not falling for it, even with my strength that is equal to someone twice my age, against three 3 year olds and two kids that are even older i think ill only be able to take down a few of them but not all ~
"no thanks i'm fine with what i'm doing by myself, thanks for the offer though but i'm not interested." i say as i turn my back to walk somewhere else while rolling my eyes to their obvious scheme.
that was my mistake as i soon realized
when i turned my back the oldest then said you'll be the villain then, as he grabbed my shoulder a punched me square in the face. but with my defense stat so hi it barley left a mark then as he removed his fist all they saw was me staring him down in the eye visibly pissed off. it was at this moment that something showed up on my stats screen.

seeing there stats i was starting to greatly appreciate this skill very much. it also surprised me that out of all of them Kanai had the best stats. at the same time looking at their skill compared to mine, i thought i had pretty high chances of winning. like around 60/40 in my favor.

(This is my first novel and i'm not good  at writing to much but ima try and kill my boredom by writing this novel)

The story starts off with the main character who is an introvert that has a passion playing games with his favorite being of coarse the Titan Fall games and a slight hobby of watching anime. when one day like a lot of other novel starters he was on his way back to his apartment when he was hit by truck-kun. 

And his first thought being "oh god dammit I just bought my favorite snack" but then he realizes he can still think and there for hes not dead. but that's were he not exactly wrong but not right either.

note the story can change at any moment but i will ask for your input when i do it.

A little one wakes up from the sun shining through her dirty and cracked window. But she couldn't fix it yet, I just don't have the money yet. She keeps telling herself that, that one day she can help her momma fix the broken and worn down apartment. But no she can't she's only 4. Too young to start working and too young to start thinking about the worlds real colors. Life hit her hard this year, but that's how it is every year on her birthday...her soul breaks to the point where her demon takes full control. Her mother knew that one day it would break, not from her birthday, but by friends, trust and stress.
The 4 year old got up from her small sleeping bag, ready to start the day. She quickly takes shower, brushes her golden ash blonde hair, gets dressed in her casual dress style and heads out to the soup house. The people that worked there knew the girl and her mother quite well actually...they practically come her every day. But the girl helps out there, she does not take the free food...she wants to work so she could feel accomplished on how much she helped people. When she is on break she eats just a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. At the end of the young 4 year olds shift she walks down the creek leading back to her apartment.
A small alley cat follows behind her. The girl notices it and sits down next to the creek, the cat sits on her lap. The water splashes as it hits each rock, the birds are chirping while gathering sticks, the deer are silently watching the two unknown figures. The girl grabs the dirty sketch pad in her drawstring bag, and starts to silently draw the area around her, carful to make too much noise. When she finished drawing she looked up at the sky, it was getting dark, and the sun has just begun setting. She packed up her things and lifted up the cat into her arms.
Once she arrived home her mother called out to her from her bedroom.
Mother: Selene is that you?
The poor mother was very sick and only had so much in her bank account.
Selene: Yes momma I'm home, do you need anything? 
The young girl was very nice and patient, but she couldn't afford to go to school.
Mother: Oh no sweetie, just make dinner for us alright...
Selene: Alright momma!!
At the age of two, the mother taught Selene everything she should know how to cook, clean, shower, talk, laundry, and how to work at the store. The young girl was very patient when her mom started to teach her these things. It was a surprise to the mother as well, she expected teaching her to be a hassle but no, it was much easier than that.
She never minded helping out her mother, it was what she liked to do help people until they feel better...but the world was not like that, the world is cruel, unfair, untrustworthy, confusing, and most importantly broken. The world is broken, not from humans, but every single human.(Except VSCO girls and others)
While the girl was cooking some leftovers from a friend of her mom's she noticed that the world was actually much simpler if you thought about. But now the girl doesn't think that anymore, she can only imagine what pain her soul would go through in the next few months.
But for now she can only wish the best for her mother to get better.
As she finishes making dinner, she brings a portion of it to her mother who is lying in bed pale and sleep deprived.(sounds like me) The girl carefully sets the food on the table not wanting to wake her mother up.
The girl already ate her food, so she heads upstairs to the bathroom brushes her teeth and falls back into her sleeping bag.

- Apollo, I do not understand, my mother married 1 month ago, with another man, after my father died, at first, I was angry, and a lot, but then, I do not understand, I do not care anymore, like Can you stay so long away from your mother? Why did you do that? A young, innocent childish voice sounded, which made Apollo frown.

"This has nothing to do with her relating to another man, that has to do with confidence!" She was my everything, my pillar, my support, she never lied to me before, until he arrived, she put me aside, ignored my feelings and thoughts to be with another man ... I do not hate her anymore, I know she already suffered a lot ... but who else machine it all, it's me, I fought to keep her away from him, but she did not hear me and went to his arms anyway, I really do not hate her, I just can not accept it! Apollo said with a sigh.

He really did not hate Celina anymore, he never really hated her, he hates John, while Celina, he just can not accept it, except that the woman who has more confidence, simply cheated him for 3 whole years, is difficult for him accept this, and he hates himself for it.
