Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro- 
it's an old fav of mine that I'll reread every few years ah. Do you guys know assassination classroom? This is an older work from the author. It's essentially a mystery detective who done it story but with more fantastical elements. I added this since I felt it was a pity this story is much less popular compared to AC (but both are equally good in my opinion, lol but maybe that's just nostalgia) 
Mousugu Shino Hito - 
it's a great short (completed) comic that has a nice dark premise twisting the harem trope. I love the psychological horror that came from this, though I still am not 100% happy with the ending since it was a) confusing as with too much info at the end to the point I've reread this constantly but can never fully comprehend it, and b) the plot holes were to big, the end twist didn't explain the first death etc in my opinion it's still a good story and the art while cutesy Shoujo still managed to emphasize the disturbing bits well which is great since I know some shoujo mangakas who try their hands on a horror story don't have interesting horror scenes at all. 
Miss Guillotine- 
A magical girl subversion story (back when the magical girl thing was still hot and trending). It's definitely one of my fav, very drama, very Dexter in a sense. It's in a world where Magical Girls are celebrities- but way better because they have powers and fight crimes. Not only that, they don't hide their identity so they're revered by society. The MC is a victim of bullying by these magical girls and due to reasons goes on to become Miss Guillotine who kills off the magical girls in her city. 
It's a bit of a tragedy tbh
I'm an Evil God (author Shidai Man Wang)- 
It's great. A mix of system and cultivation world transmigration. MC Xie Yan is good looking, interesting, smart and shameless. I would like to ship him with someone but to be frank no man there is currently good enough for him sigh
For real though, does anyone know if this is a novel? 
Cheating Men Must Die-
I assume you all know this one. But for you sad plebs who don't, this is one of the few QT mangas out there right now (being translated, I don't know about untranslated shit). It's got a lot of typical cliche QT stuff but the art is good and it's in comic form ah!!! The ML is not too prevalent either, like you sort of got a sense he's there but he's only been an actual ML once ah. Honestly it might even be my delusion since there's really no big romance underlying this. Still. It's a pretty good QT. I love faceslapping, it's even better with visuals. READ IT.

The 100 Girlfriends who really, really, really, really, really love you-
another twist to the harem trope but actually making it funny and amazing. I have to say I'm general I dislike harem stories, even reverse harem I'm like ehhhh (though I like it way better than normal harem). But this manga is soooo good! It's hilarious and they even explain why a plain faced (he's pretty cute tho) dude like MC would even have a 100 soulmates and why he should have a harem. I really like MC a lot tbh, he's straightforward and romantic. Also they really play on the comedy in this manga which is it's biggest strength, making fun of a lot of harem tropes and cliche etc. It's cute and fun and I wish they updated faster ahhh. (Currently they're up to the seventh girl who has an interesting personality I haven't seen before but not my fav 
(I actually like the twin tailed tsundere *shock* since she's the best tsukkomi and actually brings a nice 'normality' to the increasingly crazy cast). My fav tho is the sixth girl's reveal since her identity was like, I low-key suspected but I honestly did not expect the author had the guts to do this omg hahahahahaha)

The reason why Arjun was so hesitating is precisely because of this.

As he was debating internally, Arjun suddenly a remember a story. A famous story called 'Gajendra Moksham' from the book 'Bhagavatham', one of the sacred books of Hinduism from his previous world.

For days and nights, it struggled desperately. Yet the Elephant king couldn't break free from Crocodile clutches at all.

That was until Great Vishnu, one of the 3 supreme Gods descended personally to save the Elephant king, who was his loyal worshipper. 

So no matter how powerful you are outside, you have bow your head to local dragons in their regions.


Arjun's eyes shined as he remembered the story. 

Indeed. No matter how famous, how great, how awesome an Oscar film might be, it could never be as popular as a local cinema in that place.

So in the end, Arjun decided to choose something that was very popular in Telangana state from his previous world. 

Thankfully, he confirmed that while this Telangana region is a lot randomized than his previous world Telangana State. The tastes of people, basic traditions and beliefs are still same. So Arjun doesn't need to worry if those from his previous world will work here are not.

After careful research and lot of internet surfing, Arjun finally a choose to perform a Comedy skit for the Fest.

There were multiple reasons for him to choose this.

First, his skill in talking is highest, at SR Grade. So he could make more impact on the crowd through Skit than through singing or dancing. 

Second, efficiency. Skits are a lot easier to practice. With only 1 week remaining for the Fest, Skits are far better option than others.

Infact, the first and seconds reason were just secondary, the most important reason is Arjun found this world's comedy skits lacking. They were just too lacking. 

During the last two days, he watched many skits online. Comparing them to those from his previous world, he couldn't help but feel they were bland.

Take the elephant and ant joke for example: Once an ant and elephant were going on a new scooter. They met with an accidant.The elephant was died but ant was alive. Why?

Because ant was wearing a helmet !

..... Lame, right?

This kind of jokes can make you smile but not make laugh your heart out. Those skits are also similar. They can make you smile but can not make you laugh loudly. 

The people of this world are truly pitiful.  They never experienced the true comedy skits. The kind of true comedy skit that doesn't had complex dialogues, the kind of ones that doesn't need one to put much thought into, the kind of simple one that can make you laugh you ass out.

Anyway now that he is here, he definitely had to show these people what true comedy is and he had the perfect idea about what to show.

Jabardasth!

The one of a kind comedy show that crowned as best among Telugu shows for more than 5 years. Among the over 1000 skits, the number of hit skits are not small.

In a fantasy world filled with nearly infinite potential, adventurers usually partake in the average activity of going up said tower to defeat the powerful Demon Queen. However, one particular adventurer has a more peculiar goal in mind. To win the hand of the Demon Queen no matter what it takes! It may be the very thing that kills her, but she will try to persevere!


Characters


Malori: Enter our main heroine, a young woman who has seemingly endless potential and magical power. She might be the person with the best shot at killing the Queen, but she has different goals. Effectively Malori has an utter obsession with the Queen and wants to win her love at any cost. In general, though, she prefers demons over humans due to her background and wants to make them better.


Queen Vel: Also known as venomous Demon Queen Velversoa, is a tsundere in the making. She is violent, arrogant, easily excitable, and stubborn. However, there is part of her that originally trusted humans, and despite Malori's constant interventions, she grows more fond of her by the day.


Cerik: Malori's best and only friend. Cerik does have a weird quirk just like Malori but is far more level headed and reasonable. Despite all that, though, Cerik's goal in life is to kill Malori for all her bs maybe and to see a Lamia in stockings.


Overview


Mage and Demon Queen may just be one of the funniest webtoons I've ever read. It holds no respect for the genres and shows it is ripping off and happily bashes them with no mercy. Rpg/Iseaki elements like summoning someone from another world or inappropriate status updates are used incredibly often. Another hidden feature I do like is how much humanity the demons are given as they all have their motivations and quirks about the Queen and love Malori like a close friend through her constant climbs up the tower. The general worldbuilding of M DM is also really good since it does show the conflict of demons and adventurers very well at the same time showing how the tower affects the world at large.


Finally might as well say it here that Malori is probably the best version of the whole "hopelessly obsessed in love" trope. This has mostly to do with a couple of factors. One, Malori is very self-aware of her crush on the Demon Queen and tries her best to win her love naturally. Two Queen Vel reciprocates these feelings. Three Malori have a good reason to fall in love with the Queen, and four, she still gets critiqued for her unique approach at length as well. Overall, these factors make Malori and Queen Vel's relationship incredibly entertaining and surprisingly nuanced as they do fall for each other as the series progresses. Also, for a comedy series, it has a surprisingly detailed anime-like art style that creates awesome fight scenes. The series also seems to be getting only more complicated as the series goes on.


Epilogue


Overall, Mage and Demon Queen is a very fun and awesome webtoon. I recommend it for any fantasy/comedy or Yuri Fans as well. With that, I've got one last rainbow-colored spotlight to close off pride month.

Just a simple person is trying to shine a little light on the beautiful world of webtoon. With a splash of sarcasm, narration, and spitfire along the way.  And who knows I might have other segments just for the hell of it.

The production team, thus, began the nationwide promotional road tour majestically. Their first stop became very successful and sensational, based on the multitude of attendees. From the initial mere thousands of audiences during the premiere, their fanbase grew so large in scale that tens of thousands of fans were present at their chosen venue, Jinghua University.
In addition, with the spontaneous publicity from the netizens and the constant stream of good reviews about the movie, even many of the non-moviegoers had become aware of this high-rated film, dropping by the cinema to check it out eventually.
As the film officially entered the New-Year season's movie battle, the respective production companies started working hard to promote and create hype for their films. It was one hell of a tough fight as everyone wanted to make more than just a share of profits during this golden period.
This resulted in a box-office war to be launched.
Signs of a drop in ticket sales, which Lin Fengtian was concerned about, did not appear in the days to come after the premiere.
Instead, there was a breakthrough to the 500-million mark on day five of its release and even a steady increase toward the one-billion mark, which would probably make the film become the director's best-performing work in his career history!
In the past, teen flicks would usually receive critical acclaim but would do poorly in terms of box-office sales. Given his years of experience in producing films of this genre, box-office sales would usually range from tens to hundreds of millions. Those that could break past the billion-mark were practically hailed as masterpieces.
Nevertheless, he had high hopes for this piece, and as such, he put more effort in its publicity campaign.
It was even more so for the production team who did their best toward the road-tour performance, full of excitement and motivation.
There were new movies released in cinemas after the Christmas period, but most of which were just lousy-made productions that were rushed out by investors to reap profits during the golden period. Regardless of the movie genre—comedy, action, or horror thriller—each film was exaggeratedly advertised as though all had been made painstakingly produced.
In truth?
How could a finished piece possibly be any good when its entire production was wrapped up in just a couple of months?
Without a good script or even the slightest bit of logical flow to the story, those production companies merely roped in several acclaimed actors and worked hard to rush the movies' release just so that they could rake in profits over the New-Year period.
It was a tried-and-tested method that had yet to fail.
This time, however, a few of those commercial films suffered a great defeat under the converging attacks from 'The Green Apple' and the other Hollywood blockbusters.
What was even more interesting was that, among those commercial films, a war was sparked between the fans of 'The Green Apple' and the production team of a comedy film.
It all started from a certain, Hong-Kong male celebrity, who was a cast in the said comedy film. It was unknown whether he was trying to create hype for himself or playing to the gallery, but before the movie's release, he actually created a hashtag on Twitter about supporting Hong Kong's independence, all along insulting mainland China. His tweet went: [The viewers in mainland China are all fools to support artists from Hong Kong and Taiwan who go there to make profits. Even though I support Hong Kong becoming independent, there are still audiences supporting the movies that I'm cast in.]
That scandalous speech sparked an outrage in the entire mainland showbiz arena.
Yun Shishi was no stranger to that male artist, who was previously invited to record a program that she was in as a guest.
While they were backstage, that lecher actually attempted to cop a feel of her, only to receive a slap from her in return.
In his fit of anger, he resorted to using Cantonese to curse and insult her.
