"You did?!"  Drew said happily.  "That's fantastic, it will be a great help to us having that."
 
"Drew I swear if we make it out of here, you and I are going to have a serious talk."  Sam said.  "You are far too optimistic and happy in these situations, it's disturbing."
 
"I just try to keep my mind on the best possible outcome."  Drew smiled.  "There is nothing wrong with a little sense of adventure."
 
"Your sense of adventure places us constantly in the jaws of death."  Sam sighed again.  "Like I said, we will be having a talk."
 
"If we survive." Terry added.  "That's a pretty big if at the moment."
 
The plane slid to a halt on the landing strip.  After that Bartley entered the cabin once more.  "We are here, I do wish you all the very best of luck."  He said.  "You most certainly are going to need it."
 
They exited the aircraft and unloaded the cargo bay.  It was full of supplies and equipment for them.  Everything was state of the art and cutting edge.  "Wow, this is some nice stuff!"  Drew said.  "This is even better than what the studio gives us!"
 
"Oh right, we will stop whatever killed those men with an evp detector, or a black light." Sam slapped her forehead in annoyance.
 
Terry opened another create behind her.  "Oh, we got guns!" He shouted.  "Looks like military grade assault rifles."
 
"Yes, the master believes in the shotgun approach."  Bartley said.  "Throw everything at it and hope something hits.  So, you have your ghost equipment and guns, just in case it is some sort of animal or beast."
 
"Fucking dinosaurs!"  Terry shouted.  "I told you it would be a damn dinosaur island!  Terry seen this shit in the movies!"
 
"I'm sure it isn't dinosaurs Terry."  Drew said, trying to calm his friend.
 
"It could be."  Sam said.  "Honestly, we have no idea what it could be."
 
"Indeed."  Bartley replied.  "Look, should you survive I shall see you again in one week's time.  I will ensure that the master presents you with a substantial reward for a job well done.  Solve our problem and you will all be rich beyond your wildest dreams."
 
"Dude, we are in Television, we have some pretty wild dreams."  Drew teased.
 
A loud shrill could be heard in the distance on the island.  Bartley looked concerned and returned quickly to the jet.  "I must be going now, best of luck!"  He said as he shut the door and the jet began to take off.
 
"Well he left in a hurry."  Drew said.
 
"Well that was a scary noise."  Sam explained.  "Sounded more animal than ghost though."
 
"Sounded like a damn dinosaur."  Terry said.
 
"Terry how would you know what a dinosaur sounded like?"  Drew asked.
 
"The movies!"  Terry answered.  "Terry has watched all the dinosaur movies."
 
"How did the movies know what dinosaurs sound like?"  Drew asked.  "Were the directors around millions of years ago?  Or is it more likely that they paid a special effects artist to make a scary noise?"
 
"Then what do you think it was, smart guy?"  Terry asked.
 
"You know, I have no idea."  Drew replied.  "I have never heard a sound like that before."
 
Terry picked up an assault rifle and looped the strap over his shoulder.  He then grabbed another one and carried it in his hands.
 
"You are taking two guns?"  Drew asked.
 
"Faster than reloading."  Terry said as he filled his pockets with ammo clips.
 
"Hey what's that over there?"  Drew said as he scanned the horizon.
 
Sam pulled out a pair of binoculars that she got from one of the supply crates and checked it out.  "Looks like some sort of fortified encampment."  She said.  "The military guys might have made it while they were still alive."
 
"Let's head there for the night."  Drew said.  "If it is fortified it may help provide us with some defense.  We should really only investigate the island during the day if we are up against an animal of some sort."
 
"And if it's a ghost?"  Sam said.  "I mean I don't think it is, but it could be."
 
"I guess we could switch it up mid-week if we are not finding any evidence of an animal."  Drew said.  "Exploring during the day will give us a good idea about the island's layout that will help us if we need to do a night investigation."
 
"I agree."  Sam said.  "Let's carry everything we can, especially the food to the base over there."
 
The three of them picked up as much as they could carry and made their way to the base.  They felt like they walked forever since they were carrying so much weight.  At the entrance to the base they found a metal door that was open.  It was the only entrance in the walls that surrounded the base.  The base was well built and sturdy, made of iron and cement, they could tell it was not something that was just thrown together.  It looked old, incredibly old.
 
They placed their goods inside and went back to shut the door.  Upon examination the door was covered in dents and claw marks, but not from something trying to get in.  The marks were all on the interior of the door.  Whatever caused them was attempting to get out not in.
 
Drew rubbed the markings with his fingers.  "Looks like we found our first clue."  He said.  "Let's hope whatever it was that escaped from this place is still out in the jungle and not inside with us."  He pulled the door shut and secured it with a latch.  The sun was setting, and darkness was falling quickly over the camp.  "Let's light some lanterns before it's too dark to see."

Two high school best friends, attending classes like they use to on a normal day.

At lunch break, Henry went to get a coffee drink from a vending machine. Marvel, his best friend was coincidentally passing by. Marvel who has always been mischievous by nature hid at the corner waiting for Henry to come closer.
Henry got the his coffee and was just approaching the corner when Marvel jumped out of the corner and snatched the coffee from his hand.
For a moment, everything was at a standstill... They both stared at each other not understanding what had just happened, After a couple of seconds, Henry jumped towards Marvel to catch him. Upon seeing Henry jumping towards him, Marvel took off.
Marvel was always more agile than Henry, so Henry couldn't catch up. After running a couple of minutes, Marvel decided to stop and give Henry back his drink before they both went back to classes.

A couple of days passed. They were both arguing about superheroes movies on their way home. Marvel just like his name preferred Marvel movies while Henry preferred DC movies, they argued for hours at a comic book store because they never gave in for the other.
Out of the blue, Marvel noticed a strange man pass them, he couldn't tell what exactly but all the nerves in his body was not right with that man. He told Henry they should follow the man, but Henry said it was getting late and they should be going home.
'My mom is definitely going to have my head for this', he said as he finally agreed to Marvel's convincing.
'Stop being such a drama queen, what is life without a bit of adventure', Marvel replied.
'Yeah, right? How many times do you think that has kill people in movies', Henry said apprehensively .
Marvel laughed, 'That is why they are movies, stop being so pessimistic'.
'You do know you are going to get us killed one day', Henry said.
'I know', Marvel said as he smiled.
They quickly followed after the man before they lost sight of him.

After a couple of minutes, they arrived at their school, they looked at themselves surprisingly.
Still silently following the man, The man arrived at the place Marvel snatched Henry's coffee a couple of days ago. His finger turned into a flash drive which he inserted into the the wall. A panel popped out beside. He opened what looks like a laptop, and started typing. A tear suddenly appeared in the middle of the corridor. Little by little, it seems he was patching the tear up.
We were so engrossed in what he was doing, when the Principal suddenly appeared from our back and asked, 'What are you kids still doing here at this time of the day'. They glanced at the place the mysterious man was, but no one was they, it was like they were dreaming. Nothing looked out of place or anything.
'Ehn-eh You guys are yet to give me an answer about why you are at school so late', the principal said furiously.
'I forgot my textbook and he accompanied me', Marvel replied.
'Okay, take it and leave fast', He said.

Congratulations to me for wasting another day from my life doing nothing but listening to songs, doing assignments from school and obviously thinking about Chris. It's almost midnight now and I can't sleep a wink. So right now I decided to have a Netflix movie marathon with Mr. Fluffy Bear. He is my favourite teddy berry toy which my mom gifted me on my 5th birthday. Talking about my mom,  she died when I was almost 7. And other family members never gave a shit about what I am doing and how actually I am. I don't know why but they hate me so much. And my dad says I was the one for whom my mom died. Those words hurts me more than a murdering me would. It felt like someone was stabbing me again and again but with words. 

Tomorrow is the day when I am going to see Chris and I don't want to be sad. The first class after this winter vacation. I had a crush on him for like almost 6-7 years from when we were kids and reading in 5th standard. He never seemed to notice me rather he was busy with his famous, hot and rich friends and sucking slut's faces. Thinking about all these I start to have a Netflix movie marathon. So I started from those movies which were suggested by Mel, the rom-com movies more specifically. I loved action and adventure with little amount of romance in movies. Well, Mel is my best friend since we were on diaper days. This is only because my dad and her dad Mr. Collins are great friends and he loved me a lot. Um, yes he brought Hershey's bars and chocolate chip ice cream for me whenever he visited us. 

After watching rom-com and actions I somehow manage to reach my phone which was on my study table at the corner of my room. I see the time and realise that it was almost morning. I take a shower before wearing black crop top with floral printed on the chest and high waisted black ripped jeans. With black and white converse, black leather jacket wearing and taking the school bag full of assignments and maybe 2 or 3 books I run downstairs and almost tripped. I am clumsy and I can't change it. Sighing I take the keys for the main door and my room so when I come back I don't have to face my bitchy step mom. Alex was a good step brother because he was protective of me and cared for me in real. 

I reach to the nearest coffee shop. This was where I always went to buy the best latte I ever had so that after not sleeping at night at least I get some energy. The bakery that cafe was a friend of mine as Xavier wasn't a backstabber like others and more like Mel. I ordered my coffee and some cookies. I listen to music until the order comes. After eating I saw the watch on phone which said if don't run of class now then I will be at the detention hall today. I hate the D-card.

Today was the day of the ball . Helios went to the dinning room after waking up and saw that only Mana and his grandmother were there .




" Where's Bekora ? " asked Mana when she saw Helios entering alone .




" Where's the crazy tigress ? " asked Helios when he didn't see her .




Mana and Helios started to glare at each other with anger and then madam Margrethe spoke .




" Where are those two ? " said madam Margrethe a bit annoyed by Mana and Helios .



" I don't know ! " said the both of them at the same time and continued to glare at each other .



Madam Margrethe realized that she couldn't get a straight answer from those two so she ordered a maid to come . When the maid came madam Margrethe asked her to search where Aria and Bekora were . The maid bowed and went to complete madam Margrethe's order . While waiting for the maid the three of them started to eat breakfast .


" By the way , grandma , I haven't seen Klara at all . Today is her birthday and she doesn't even show up for breakfast . " said Helios and looked at Mana and madam Margrethe with doubt .



' Uhhh ! Helios knows that she's in the castle cause of the black gemstone bracelet he and Aria found in the garden . There's no way to fool him about her whereabouts ! ' thought Mana with a nervous expression .



" I don't know where she is grandson . She just told me that she will be here in time for the party . " said madam Margrethe in a nervous tone .




" Okay ! Since neither of you will tell me where she is , I will wait for her at the ball tonight , she won't be able to escape . " said Helios with a serious tone and continued to eat his breakfast .






Mana and madam Margrethe didn't want to imagine what punishment would Klara receive when she and Helios would meet . By the time they finished the maid came and bowed before madam Margrethe .




" Your Majesty , sir Bekora and miss Aria are resting in the salon near princess Mana's working room. They are sleeping on the coutch and the TV was still on . Should I wake them up ? " said the maid in a polite manner .



Before madam Margrethe could speak , Helios left the spoon he was holding in the table and got up .




" No need ! I will go wake them up personally ! " said Helios with an angry expression .



Mana and madam Margrethe thought that it would be better and safer if they didn't interfere . Helios went to the stairs and soon arrived to the salon near Mana's working room which was often used as a resting place after having excercised in the sports rooms or for Mana to relax after working hard on the design drafts . When Helios opened the door he saw that Bekora and Aria were on the couch and just as the maid said the TV was open too . To his surprise the channel they had watched was an adventure movie channel . Aria and Bekora had leaned their head in each other's shoulders . When Helios saw it , he grabbed Bekora from his shirt and threw him in the ground .



" Ouc, ....what the ?! How dare you ! " said Bekora a bit confused and with eyes half opened .




" Open your eyes and see clearly who's in front of you now ! " said Helios with an angry tone .


When Bekora opened his eyes to see clearly the person who was in front of him , his strong facial expression changed . A look at Helios's angry expression made his eyes open wide right away .


" Bro , morning ! ...May I ask why're you angry so early in the morning ? " asked Bekora in a nervous tone .


' Yeah , that's right ! Why am I so angry ?! He has become stupid since meeting this little tigress .' thought Helios.


" Of course , I am angry at you for being such a lazy person . Today is the ball and a lot of people will be coming and you should give a hand too . " said Helios in an angry tone .


" Isn't this the servant's job ?! " asked Bekora a bit surprised .



" Now , we are lacking servants . Get up and give a hand ! " said Helios with an angry look .


' Lacking servants ?! Who are you kidding ?! Please , your the only person on earth who won't ever lack servants in his life ! ' thought Bekora looking at him a bit surprised .

When he turned his head he saw that Aria was on the couch . After rubbing her eye , Aria noticed that Bekora was on the floor .

" Oh...Bekora , good morning ! You seem better now ! Guess yesterday's treatment worked well ! Told ya I had magical hands . You felt really relaxed ! " said Aria with a smile .


Bekora smiled at Aria and nodded with a nervous expression due to Helios's terrifying aura piercing his back . What Aria had said was the final bow which made Helios extremly angry . When Aria looked behind Bekora she saw Helios was standing up .


' What a bad luck to see this guy's face so early in the morning ! ' thought Aria and then got up from the couch .


She extended her hand towards Bekora and helped him get up . Helios couldn't stand this kind of atmosphere anymore and was about to explode but luckily Mana entered in time . Bekora looked at her with shiny eyes which creeped out Mana a little .


" Morning Bekora and Aria ! Look at these snacks and TV open . Did you guys watch movies all night ?! " asked Mana who now was able to understand why Helios was suddenly angry .


" Yup ! Some nice adventure movies and snacks are the best way to relax . " said Aria with a smile .


" You must have remained up all night ? " asked Mana .


" A bit yeah ! When we finished trying out all of those things , I was so tired to go back to the guest room and found this salon . When I entered here Bekora was lying on the couch . I realized that Bekora was using this place first so I would go back but my stomach started to grumble and I wanted to ask him where could I find something to eat too . Then he said his whole body was aching terribly . I helped him with a little masage on the shoulders and back then he told me where the snack were . My mom always praised me about having magical hands that can heal . When he felt better we started to watch some adventure movies and then fell asleep . The movie yesterday was really nice . " said Aria with a smile on her face .


" I see ! Too bad I didn't know ! I would have joined you too if I had known . " said Mana .


" After the ball tonight we can watch the movies i your room and bring some sweet snacks . " said Aria with a big smile .


" Great idea ! " said Mana and told Aria that they had to prepare and get ready for the ball .



" Isn't it a bit soon ?! " asked Aria a bit scared .



" Don't worry we will go to take a long bath first and some skin care then we will wear the things we choose yeaterday . " said Mana and took Aria out of the room , leaving Bekora alone with Helios .




" Ah girls ! They only think about skin care product all day . " said Bekora to change the atmosphere a little .

" Did you enjoy the massage yesterday from little tigress's hands ? " asked Helios with a calm tone and Bekora thought that he maybe was less angry .


" It was amazing bro! You hurt me a lot yesterday and now I feel like a sixteen year old boy . She can massage really well ! Her mom was indeed right about calling her hands magical healers . Her hands were able to save me yesterday . I would be hardly moving today if it wasn't for her ." said bekora with dreamy eyes .

When he saw Helios's fists and muscles he gulped .

" Mama mia ! " said Bekora terrified from Helios and with no way of saving himself .

Now I regret this motto so much cause it brought me a lot of troubles when I accidentally bumped into a demon , Helios .
All enemies fear him ,his wealth is beyond imagination and every woman begs just to get a glimpse of his attention but not me  . I’m just a simple girl who has her mind set on her professional career. Our ways met accidentally and fate kept pushing us in front of each other . Is this good or bad luck???? His biggest enemy was his aunt, my biggest problem , that ruined my family's peace was my uncle's wife . I wanted to become someone important , he wanted to get back his title and make his aunt resentful . Even though we didn't get along we understood that the best way for both of us to get what we wanted was to collaborate . After we succeed then each one goes on his and her way but he refused to let me go . At the beginning I thought of it as something easy to handle but little did I know that I was about to be mixed in the royal family issues because of this annoying guy .  His possessive love , sweet like honey has trapped me , pulling me in more troubles than before. I am strong but this attention is too much for me . Will I ever be able to free myself out of this mess ?

ASTRID picked up the juice in front of him and drank a bit. They were now inside a private box of a much more expensive restaurant. It was where Mr. Rogers took them after he said that they should go to somewhere more private to talk. 
He was not afraid that he was just scamming them and about to bring them to some dangerous place. After all, Reas was with him. With the two of them working together, there's hardly any danger they couldn't overcome.
So, while they were following Mr. Rogers' car with their rented one, Astrid took the time to check [Starnet] information about the man. It's one of the reasons why he decided to give Mr. Rogers a chance to speak with them more properly instead of just turning him over to the police. Because he didn't hesitate to show them his ID and even told him to search him on the [Starnet]. 
When he was looking at his Terminal while in their rented car, he realized that he made the right decision. It didn't take long for him to find the information about Mr. Rogers. Although the picture of him on [Starnet] was a more formal and much cleaner version and not the unkempt version that they saw in person, it's true that he didn't lie about his identity. 
Mr. Rogers was indeed who he said he was – a casting director. The movies listed under his name were all big productions and almost all of it had huge blockbuster turn-out. He even watched some of it.
Astrid looked at the man sitting in front of him and his brother. He looked like someone who hadn't rested and hadn't taken a proper bath for a few days. He wondered if he looked like this in normal times and he only cleaned up whenever there's a formal occasion. Anyhow, they should probably proceed to the much more important discussion.
"Mr. Rogers, you said that you wanted to cast me in a movie, am I right?" he asked first.
"Yes, yes. You really fit the role. Even the director agreed with me when I send him the clip of you that trended three days ago. He told me to immediately look for you and offer you an audition. If you succeed on the audition, we would immediately give you the role," Mr. Rogers answered.
"Does that mean that Mr. Rogers had been looking for me for three days?" Astrid thought of asking. 
Mark scratched the back of his head and laughed awkwardly. "Haha… yes. I only managed to find you because someone in that restaurant posted a picture of you on [Cyberspace]."
Astrid nodded. Could it be the other looked so unkempt because he was looking for him? If that's true, then wouldn't that be kind of… pitiful?
"May I ask who the director is?" he just asked instead.
"It's Director Trevane. I don't know if you've heard of him but he's a really famous director. You wouldn't regret being part of his movie!" Mark said, starting to praise the director.
Astrid was quite surprised. Of course, he had heard of Director Trevane. He was one of the most popular fantasy movie directors in the Empire. All of his movies were high budget films that always had a high box office return. He watched some of his movies and they were all very properly directed. Even if the plot was quite simple, the director managed to make it very exciting and fun. 
And now, he suddenly had an opportunity to play in the movie of Director Trevane.
It's like a pie just fell from the sky without him doing anything. Oh, wait- he and his brother did encounter a hostage taker/bomber and they also met two members of the Grimaldi family all of a sudden. Those were the reasons why he trended. Maybe this was destiny's way of compensating him?
He smiled inside. Then, he'd gladly take it. But before that, he had to ask some things first.
"What was the movie about?"
Mark secretly let out a sigh of relief seeing the interest in the teenager's eyes. "It's a fantasy/adventure movie set in a magical continent where one god rules all. But a century ago, the god suddenly went into slumber for no reason. Because of that the continent was plagued with demons. A group of heroes will go on an adventure to wake up the sleeping god to save the whole continent from the demon lord. That's really all I can tell you. At least for now."
Astrid understood. Since it's still not certain if he would take whatever role Mr. Roger was offering, it wasn't ideal to tell him the rest of the story. But despite that, he still got the gist of the story. 
It was a pretty cliched trope. A group of friends adventuring to find the thing that could defeat their enemy. 
He wondered what role Mr. Rogers were planning to offer him. If this was his last life, then he wouldn't even be considered an 18th line actor. At most he probably could only get at most three minutes of screen time. But would a casting director spend three days to look for him just for an extra role? 
He guessed it's probably better to just ask Mr. Rogers directly. "May I ask what role will I be playing if I managed to pass the audition?"
"If you pass Director Trevane's audition, then you'll get the role of the 'god'."
Astrid became silent for a moment. He didn't know how to react for a second.
Reas, who had been siting quietly beside Astrid, noticed his brother's speechlessness. He must be really surprised. Although Reas didn't know anything about movies, based on what he heard earlier about the movie this Mr. Rogers was a part of, wasn't the role of 'god' pretty big?
Astrid quickly recovered from his shocked. And then excitement rushed through his body. Just like what Reas thought, this role was indeed big. Even if at some chance this 'god' only appeared at the end of the movie, it wouldn't matter. For someone like him who's a total 'newcomer', this was probably the best way for him to enter the entertainment industry.
He smiled brightly. "Mr. Rogers, I will take that audition."


He just became the newly-crowned movie emperor when he died a tragic (actually, very stupid) death. On his way to cross the NaiHe bridge, he managed to evade Meng Po and not drink her soup. Thus keeping the memories of the life that he just had.

But he would never have imagined that he would be reincarnated hundreds of thousands of years later. In the Interstellar era! If it happened to other guys, they would definitely want to be a mecha warrior. Don't most men dream of that at least once in their life? But sadly, that's not for him. 

There's only one goal in his mind - to be the number one star in the Interstellar era.

With the knowledge and skills he got from his past life, he would definitely achieve it.

But who was this annoying person who kept on pestering him?
