Talking about it, Zhang Zian really admired Vladimir. Before that, it was the one who was hurrying to go out and solve the problem. But now, after they had left the house, it was the one who was saying not to be too hurried.
He picked up his phone to take a look. Ever since the Navigation Elfin announced the temporary maintenance notice, his phone was constantly in his hand. He wanted to see if the game would return to normal as scheduled. In less than five minutes from the announced time, perhaps it was just three to four minutes, the Navigation Elfin had already appeared on screen, and everything was as normal.
Due to the unexpected maintenance, the Navigation Elfin did not say anything else, and did not give any notification as to whether the hole had been fixed. Anyway, Vladimir could still freely travel in and out of the shop.
He did not have any need to capture or release elfins now, so he temporarily exited the game.
Little Celery's form teacher had already told the security guards at the entrance of the school. Otherwise, Zhang Zian would not be able to enter the school so easily.

"But…" Little Celery wanted to explain.
"Eh? Why did he bring a cat here?" Wang Yaning noticed Vladimir behind Zhang Zian's back, and started to wave his hand outwards like she was chasing chickens and ducks. "Get out! Get out! This is where we keep hamsters. How could you bring a cat here? If it bites the hamsters and kills it, who will take responsibility?"
There was a boy next to her who said, "But these hamsters were originally given to us by him…"
Wang Yaning said, "…Still, we cannot let that happen. If it is given to us, then it's ours now."
Zhang Zian just wanted to say that Vladimir would not harm the hamsters when Vladimir pulled on the corner of his pants and said, "No worries, I can take the opportunity to walk around nearby. I'll see you in a while!"
After saying that, it quickly ran off.
Wang Yaning adjusted his glasses. She looked at him, then looked at Vladimir who ran off. She asked strangely, "You cat has run away, aren't you going to chase it?"
"Why do I need to chase it? The sky must rain; the mother must marry someone. Just let it go where it wants to go!"
Perhaps it was due to Vladimir's influence, Zhang Zian casually used a famous saying from a famous person, but sadly that group of primary school children did not understand the meaning behind it.

"There's a hamster that's about to give birth!" A boy hurriedly said, breaking the awkward atmosphere at the doorway.
The multiple people at the door rushed in with shouts, and Zhang Zian managed to follow behind them.
That group of pupils always put their feelings into hamsters. At first, they put the male hamster and the female hamster together, claiming they wanted to give the baby a healthy and warm home. Zhang Zian repeatedly stressed that the hamster could not be mixed together to be reared several times before they gave in. Otherwise, they would only see the female hamster and the skin of the male hamster.
Besides for the hamsters during mating, the hamsters definitely could not be reared together. The animals were often cannibals, and if they were not careful, it would cause those who had them as pets to witness a tragedy between hamsters.
They did not have any guilt towards their same species, and because of that, when female hamsters gave birth to baby hamsters, it was even more dangerous. It could not be scared, otherwise, the female hamster could kill the baby hamster that was just born or eat it.
Zhang Zian, as an adult, had wide steps and ran fast as soon as he saw quite a few primary school children rush to the side of the hamster cage to watch the process of the baby hamster being born. He instantly ran two steps to stop them.
"Don't all go together––two to three is enough. If there are too many people the female hamster will be scared," he said.
Wang Yaning frowned again. "But we need to submit a rearing report. Observing the complicated birth process is a very important event!"
Zhang Zian was very worried for her future. If it continued like this, perhaps before she was 30 years old, her forehead would be full of wrinkles…
"Don't be so old fashioned. People must learn to be versatile and adaptive. You can have two or three representatives that will record the whole birth process using their phones and then they can share it with other people to see. Isn't this better? A recorded film can be watched as many times as you want," Zhang Zian said.
Nowadays, many primary school children had their own phones. Of the primary school children present, at least half of them had their phones with them.
Wang Yaning did not know what to say to that.
After a short discussion, it was decided that Wang Yaning, Little Celery, and another boy, along with Zhang Zian, would observe from a close distance and film. The rest of the primary school children would wait at the side and prepare to help at any moment.
Zhang Zian lifted his finger to his lips, lowering his voice and saying, "After you come close, even if the sky falls, don't make loud noises. If you want to speak, you can only speak like that."
The rest of the people nodded. Only Wang Yaning twitched her lips, an indifferent look on her face.
Those who had phones raised up their phones and opened their cameras. Little Celery did not have a phone and borrowed one from someone else.
When he got close to the hamster cage, Zhang Zian held his breath and observed carefully, only to see a plump, hairy, female hamster sitting in the sawdust like a ball waiting for delivery. She was just sitting, which was a special feature of hamsters. They were used to sitting and giving birth, rather than standing or lying on their side like many animals.
Not long after, a baby hamster that was purplish red appeared from the female hamster's stomach. The baby hamster's body was smooth, with not a single hair on it. Its eyes were also closed, and where the eyes should have been were two blurry black spots.
Little Celery mouthed and asked, "This is the baby hamster?"
Zhang Zian nodded soundlessly, not blaming her for her question. A hamster that had just been born was very different from a mature hamster.
Suddenly, Wang Yaning shouted in shock, her expression full of disgust, "Ah! It's eating the baby hamster!"
Zhang Zian wanted to raise his hand and slap her. He had reminded her not to speak loudly just now. It was just like playing the piano for a cow. Even if the female hamster was not planning on eating the baby hamster, after being scared by her, even if it was originally not going to eat it, it would have to eat it now.

"Dani," called Vanessa, "You were supposed to watch them,"


"Nothing in this forest will touch them," she yawned, "I am fierce".


"You mean 'feerse'," said Logan looking at the time.


Mimi added, "Dani sleeping while the rest of us were running around like hamsters".


Vanessa rushed her lazy ass up and assembled her fur babies. After taking count, she realized somehow none of them died. Logan mocked Vanessa for allowing two hamsters to die back in the beginning. It was an amazing gift of the feral cats he added, to watch over young while sleeping.


"We will not let another hamster die," said Vanessa.


Logan added with a smile, "Well you got one, maybe two hours before I leave... And Dani doesn't run".


Vanessa rushed the hamsters into place. As before, Dani was to sit on top of a hamster while Logan, Mimi, and Kiki ran like heathens. When Vanessa wasn't touching a hamster, Kiki whispered, asking Logan if he was trying to make her fail. Instead of sabotaging, he was rather proud she made it this far. He even admitted that these hamster abilities would come in handy for not just the team, but her as an individual as well.

Despite her goofy nature, Vanessa was once again very careful about moving the hamsters across the forest. From bush to stump, she bound them away.

A fox was spotted on the radar. Using hand signals, Vanessa pushed everybody into hiding. The fox sniffed about the bushes, looking for food. She further signaled her three useful teammates into position. They waited for the fox to come near before striking.

Watching the predator from the radar, Vanessa studied its movements. It rushed over towards them. Logan and Mimi ran for a frontal attack, but the fox jumped clear over.

"Fuck," said the two attackers as an eagle swooped down at them.

Vanessa created a magical ball around them to prevent the eagle from gripping them. Her energy took a big hit creating those two spheres. She yelled for them to get back into the bush.

Logan yelled for Mimi not to listen, but it was too late. The eagle saw Mimi running towards a bush and attacked it directly.

Everything within the bush rattled to no end. It was an obvious hunting tactic that Vanessa wasn't aware of. It was to be expected from a girl who never hunted. Nor has she been through many survival themes.

Just the bush was nearly tipping over, Vanessa ran her furbabies away. The eagle swooped again to grab a hamster. Vanessa guarded it with a sphere.

The eagle's claws clashed with the magical sphere, causing it to fly up. Vanessa seized the moment to run everybody in a single pack.


As the eagle turned around for another strike, Vanessa set her team into a diamond formation. Each wing of the bird stretched well beyond that of the formation. Probably the size of a normal human.

Just as it nearly grabbed a hamster, Mimi rushed on it. Fortunate to the hamsters, they weren't shredded by their friendly spheres. That didn't stop the eagle from landing in the back with Dani.


"No no no no no, you will not eat Dani," she pleaded shooting at the large bird.


Logan called out asking Vanessa not to shield him again as she placed a sphere over each hamster in the back row with Dani. Being on a hamster herself, Dani was also shielded.


It glided to the center of the formation to grab one of many hamsters. Kiki hopped over many to jump into the eagle.

Like rain, the eagle saw it coming. Sure enough, Vanessa encased Kiki in a magical sphere.


A slight tilt was all it needed to avoid Kiki's clever attack. That slight tilt positioned it perfectly to Logan's throw card.

That tiny paper cut to the eagle's eye felt like a full-blown peck from another eagle. The bird flew into a tree.


Logan picked up a tiny hamster and ran after the fallen eagle.


"Not my baby baby," cried Vanessa.


Once Logan threw the little guy at the giant predator, Vanessa had no choice but to place a sphere on it as well.

The baby hamster ripped down the eagle's thigh. Logan further pushed it on the crying eagle's foot.

Mimi and Kiki cheered on Logan's antics against the bird while Vanessa cried for her baby.

The eagle flew away defeated before it lost any more blood.


Kiki called over, "Vanessa, I think this is a race"!

"Bro, this entire fucking trial is a race to not get eaten!" yelled Mimi.

Dani continued laying on her soft cuddly hamster, listening in on the team bicker. After a short minute, Vanessa decided to run her team through the forest. The cliff wasn't far. But with a potential threat at any turn and her magic reserves low, only time would tell if they made it.

Shortly after entering the desert, a foreign tremor was detected on the radar. It wasn't clear, but it was definitely headed their way.

"What is that?" asked Vanessa.

The elder shook while fumbling his words.

"It's a snake!" yelled Kiki.

Mimi and Logan grumbled under their breaths, not wanting to deal with anything. The cliff itself was in sight. Kiki asked to send her with Mimi or Logan. Mimi rejected the moment she looked on the radar. The area of the tremor wasn't only moving fast. It was also a big area. Meaning they were either facing a big snake or a bunch of small snakes.


Dani laid on her running hamster and said, "How about no. Just no more. Dani's done for the day".


"Quick!" yelled Logan, "Sacrifice Dani! It's the only way"! 

Dani quickly responded calling him a "Fucking traitor". 

Vanessa shook her hands, refusing to let a single hamster go. The elder saw the anguish in her heart in sacrificing one of her own for the sake of the rest. With the group of snakes approaching, she was left with no choice. 

She held one finger up at Kiki, signaling to cripple a single hamster. Kiki kicked a hamster's legs, causing it to fall back into the hoard of oncoming snakes. It cries screeched to Vanessa's now sensitive ears. 

Dani yelled again, "That could've been me, asshole"!

The pack of snakes ate at the hamster before continuing their chase. After noticing, Vanesa held out two fingers. Kiki and Dani each crippled a single hamster. They fell into the hoards of snakes, stopping them near completely. 

It was just the time needed to get up the cliff.

Fully reunited, in the tunnel, Vanessa stood in front of the elder hamster. 

Mimi couldn't resist pointing out how brutal it was. Logan even added that the fox pact wasn't hurtful. The very idea of sacrificing one's own for the sake of others was a challenging decision to be made. Ironically, it fell on Vanessa's shoulders. 

The elder acknowledged Vanessa's contribution. And while many of her achievements came from the help of friends, it was her wise decision to listen. He held out his tiny cold paws out, releasing a light that went into Vanessa. The Isekai system appeared informing her that the hamster skill tree has been activated. 


She immediately cheered through Logan's tutorial. He explained that the hamster skill tree was added to her training chart, but that she still needed to study each skill like she would a normal job class. 

Though it seemed Vanessa ignored every word he said to hug and play with the hamsters, she was fully aware of everything he said. 


The girls remained to enjoy their day with hamsters. Logan had to reschedule getting the two limit breaks for the next day. For now, he left to attend some important matters on behalf of the team.

Just a place where I can freely write and publish drafts for future events of my story.

The Isekai Game is a vigorous sport where players battle in a variety of themes each month. From magic, alchemy, melee combat, gun slinging, themes, players are forced to fight each other and monsters alike. 



Vanessa finally has her shot at playing and making it to the pro leagues to live a life of wealth, fame, and adventure. But when her small guild of misfits is threatened by an in-game assassin and her "ghost" warns her of a traitor, she feels at the end of her ropes. 



Will her new Isekai family stay together and make it to the pro leagues. Or will this traitor succeed at tearing them apart along with the harsh nature of the game?

I know my first 2 chapters are confusing. I literally give the first 65 chapters free. My story has a "Do now, explain later" rhythm to it. The characters you read on in the first two chapters get fleshed out in the next two chapters. 
So give it a chance. 


Also, this is not your typical trash Isekai. There is no boy getting hit by a truck. No heavy romance. No high dive online nonsense. No harem. No sex jokes thrown every chapter nor bouncing tits. No truck-kun. No getting trapped in the game. No matrix or any other corny stuff. My concept is not original. But I literally cannot think of 1 story out there that has it.

The Tarasha Mountains were the tallest and longest mountain ranges on the continent, stretching thousands of miles from east to west. The mountain on the other side of the Emerald River was the extension of the Tarasha Mountains, thus its hills were not as high, and the woods in it were not as dense. Only low grade holy animals could be occasionally found wandering there, but over the mountain, higher grade holy animals could been seen here and there. Hearing this, Han Jin was in high spirits as if he was going to go hunt the holy animals right then and there. Steelberg immediately regretted his introduction and begged Han Jin piteously to not take the risks. He warned Han Jin repeatedly that only experienced mercenaries and powerful professionals could walk out of there alive.
Han Jin was curious about where his servant had gotten this information, but that had proved to be a foolish move. It turned out that he had gotten all his information from a young barde, and Raphael had also been present at that time. Thus, Han Jin was forced to make up a vague answer for Steelberg's questions, while mentally reminding himself to be more careful. Fortunately, Steelberg had always obeyed the principles between master and servant and did not press the issue.
In fact, if Steelberg were experienced enough, he should have been suspicious of Han Jin for a long time by now. Who could change so much in merely one night? For example, Young Master Raphael had started to care about Steelberg's diet and sleep, and had even covered him in some loose hays, or even his own cloth, as a make-shift blanket. Since Steelberg was in charge of his master's safety, he would wake up immediately at the slightest commotion. Feeling the care from his young master, Steelberg secretly shed tears. He didn't suspect his young master at all, and on the contrary, he was extremely moved and thought all that he had done for his master had been worthwhile.
Also, in Steelberg's mind, his young master was a dainty youth who would never eat anything that looked dirty even if he was starving to death. But now, even the ugly and disgusting hamsters and red snakes could not escape his mouth. On top of that, the young master appeared very elegant while eating. He would always eat in a slow and tentative manner, and his deep and bright eyes were always focused on the food, as if he were eating the most luxurious delicacy in the world. As Steelberg recalled, even when the Old Master had been alive, his manners had not been as elegant as the Young Master right now.
Of course, Han Jin knew nothing about Steelberg's thoughts; Steelberg wasn't even near him, as he had just sent his servant to the town to find more firewood. Though he could endure the taste of different kinds of food, he could not endure the bloody smell of animals. Moreover, his teacher had told him that although raw blood and flesh could also provide energy, it was a different energy from the energy provided by cooked food, as it was hard to be transformed into vital energy. Finally, such a method was too close to the demonic ways of cultivating, and one would eventually move on to consuming human flesh and mind.
Han Jin scattered the burning twigs randomly, and tore a rear leg from a roasted hamster, stuffing it into his mouth and chewing with all his attention. He ate his food thoroughly, and by the word "thoroughly," he meant that because everything contained energy, even the bones, they would be chewed and swallowed. With the food going into his stomach, traces of energy converged in his diaphragm. After several days of living in these woods, Han Jin had finally accumulated over a hundred yuan energy, which had restored his confidence a little.
Aside from improving this body, Han Jin did not dare waste any more of his energy. For example, though surrounding himself with some energy could prevent mosquito's bites, he would never do that. At this primitive stage of energy accumulation, he had no other choice but to be harsh, or even cruel, to himself.
Still, there were two problems that bothered him. One was about magic crystals. He had planned on hunting holy animals after regaining some of his energy and strengthen himself by swallowing magic crystals, but now, he realized that doing so was not very cost effective. For example, a magic crystal from a long-ear rabbit contains a dozen yuan of energy, but it could be sold for more than hundreds of bread loaves, which would definitely contain more than ten units of energy each.
The other problem was that, after several days of modification, his digestion and absorption capacity had reached seventy percent, and if he continued improving his body, the energy needed would be much more than before. But if he stopped there, the absorption capacity of seventy percent would cause unnecessary waste. Moreover, the rehabilitating work would also be troublesome; after all, he was eating all day long. Such a dilemma could only be resolved by increasing the absorption capacity to over ninety five percent.
Han Jin also had a vague feeling that he was missing something - something very important. However, he simply could not figure out what it was for the life of him.
While Han Jin was still thinking, he heard the sound of shuffling footsteps; Steelberg had came back with a bag.
"Back already?" Han Jin raised his head and asked, "You got the firewood?"
"Got it," Steelberg answered as he put the bag on the ground.
"Didn't the old fart say anything?" Han Jin snorted. The old fart he referred to was Barbato, his family's former butler, who had broken off ties with Raphael after Raphael had sold all of his family lands and the manor. This old bastard had purchased a house for himself, and married a widowed 25 year old while he, himself, was already sixty years old. His enjoyed a cozy life at the moment, but no one knew where he had gotten his money from.
Though he had broken off ties with Rapheal, Barato couldn't change his past, nor did he want people to talk behind his back, so he would occasionally give Raphael and Steelberg some old cloth and coins as financial help. Of course, this was just occasionally. However, that was the extent of his generosity, as he would have no qualms kicking the both of them out of his house if they wanted a place to live.
"No he didn't; it seemed as though the old thing was in a hurry." Steelberg glanced at Han Jin with hesitation in his eyes, then murmured, "Young master, there is one thing I must tell you, but promise me you'll keep calm after hearing what I say."
"Huh? What's that?"
"It is Miss Keeley; seems that she is in big trouble."
Han Jin was just about to ask who Miss Keeley was when he suddenly remembered his lessons from the past few days. He quickly changed his words and said, "What trouble?"
"Young Master, do you remember the dwarf forging master Miss Keeley had hired?" Steelberg said angrily, "That bastard had the guts to propose to Miss Keeley. Who the fuck does he think he is?!"
Han Jin searched through his memories, which were confusing and incomplete, but Miss Keeley was definitely not among them. But since Steelberg was so enraged, she must have been close to Raphael, so he tentatively asked, "And then?"
"How could Miss Keeley accept? Then that dwarf opened a forge by himself on the opposite side of Miss Keeley's. He's clearly trying to make her life harder!"
Han Jin went through his memories again, but still couldn't remember who Miss Keeley was. He said with a wry smile, "Steelberg, tell me more... about Miss Keeley."
"Young Master, you even forgot about Miss Keeley?" Steelberg asked in a surprised voice.
"Not quite, I remember something about her. It's just too vague." Han Jin sounded very conflicted.
"Young Master, you used to tell me that you would give up thirty years of your life if you could marry Miss Keeley. Don't you remember? How could you forget her??" Steelberg shook his head. "Miss Keeley... I heard she was also famous even in Holy Crown City."
" Holy Crown City?"
"That is the territory of Lord Dismark, and it is the city we serve."
"Oh, I just remembered." Han Jin pretended he had remembered everything, and then asked, "Then why did Miss Keeley came to Radon Town if she's famous in Holy Crown City?"
"Eh... I don't know that either." This said, Steelberg scratched his head.
"What does Miss Keeley do?"
"She runs some businesses."
"Then she must be very rich." Han Jin thought for a moment. "Why doesn't she hire another forging master? As rich as she is, why would she be afraid of a dwarf? Besides, how much could she earn in Randon Town anyway? Why does she even care in the first place?"
"Eh… Young master, you got me again. I don't know," Steelberg said with a wry smile on his face as he scratched his head.
"Never mind." Realized that Miss Keeley was only someone that Raphael used to moon over, Han Jin changed the topic, and instead looked at the bag Steelberg had brought back. "What is it?"
"Cassavas, Young Master. I dug them on the way." Seeing Han Jin's reaction, Steelberg was dumbfounded again, as he had thought his young master would jump to his feet and immediately go confront the dwarf.
"Good. It's about time we had something other than hamsters." A joyful look appeared on Han Jin's face. At this moment, he would rather choose a piece of cassava over ten beautiful Miss Keeleys.
Han Jin turned the bag upside down, and dozens of cassavas rolled onto the ground. A familiar scene came to his mind all of a sudden. The cassavas rolling on the ground somehow reminded him of the bead he had found when he had first opened his eyes in this world. As if he had realized something, Han Jin suddenly jumped up and shouted, "You're such a fool!"
Steelberg was so frightened by the shout that he did not dare say a single word, and simply stared Han Jin with a dumbfounded expression.
"Not talking about you; I'm the one that's a fool!" Han Jin sighed. He had just realized how childish his original idea had been. How many magic crystals could he even get by personally hunting holy animals? Since everything in this world could be bought for a price, why couldn't he just focus his efforts on making more money and buying the magic crystals instead? If he did that, the problems that had been troubling him would also be resolved. Energy? As long as he had money, it was a trivial matter for him to obtain more energy. And at that point, he wouldn't have to worry about cost efficiency at all!

Brainiac put down the copy of "Winterfell Monthly Digest".
He had returned with the gamers to Eternal Kingdom via the Teleport Portal. He was unable to do anything even if he stayed there. The gamers had to continue their "game".
Brainiac was a responsible Lich. At this critical juncture, he had to help the missing Lord Sherlock manage the Dungeon in an orderly fashion.
When the gamers tried to gain access to the Dungeon Lord Main Hall, he would gaze at them with his empty eye sockets. Brainiac also stopped them when the gamers occupied the Dungeon's land illegally, when they constructed buildings illicitly, when they pulled down buildings secretly, and when they tried to rob the weapons warehouse. 
When Brainiac returned to maintain order, a group of gamers was with Eggface, Evelynn, and Lilo. They returned to Eternal Kingdom via the Teleport Portal at Winterfell. A large group of gamers followed behind them to watch the Plot Animation unfold.
"Gosh, the recent Plot is exciting. Sherlie's missing, Brainiac became the Dungeon Lord, and Eggface and Evelynn went to look for Lilo for help."
"The evil Andrew controlled Winterfell and hijacked our Michelangelo's relic."
"This must be in preparation for—'Winterfell Fortress'."
"I'm quite intrigued by your words. Andrew became the BOSS of an Instance Dungeon, while Brainiac and Lilo become friendly NPCs?"
"The game officials should write a novel, 'Dungeon Gamers'."
"Like 'Chronicles of Azeroth'?"
Without Sherlock around, nobody could restrain them from chattering.
Brainiac was used to their boisterous manners, but Lilo wasn't used to the noisy green-skinned creatures.
After she came to Eternal Kingdom, she shut the green-skinned creatures outside the Dungeon Lord Main Hall. Or rather, she locked herself in the Dungeon Lord Main Hall?
"I don't think this is appropriate, Miss Lilo."
Eggface sat in a chair and cupped his brewed bloody chrysanthemum tea. The previous seat of Sherlock was occupied by Lilo, and that was the only seat to play computer gamers. To be precise, that seat belonged to Eggface.
"Why is it not appropriate? Lord Sherlock and Lady Lilo are very close! They've known each other since before you were born!" a fat Hamster who stood beside Lilo said indignantly.
Two other Hamsters stood beside him with the same posture. The rightmost Hamster said, "The green-skinned creatures love to speak. Why are they harassing us with their chattering?"
The leftmost Hamster said, "Can we have our meals? I saw a Blackiron Dwarf preparing food!"
The three Hamster followed beside Lilo as though they were her bodyguards.
"Apologies, you are now on Lord Sherlock's private land. As his adjutant and secretary, I feel the need to inform you that you can't take away the Dungeon Core. Even if Lord Sherlock owes you money, you can't take the Dungeon Core as payment. I mean, Lord Sherlock will be back," Eggface said seriously.
"Our lady didn't say she would take the Dungeon Core away. If Sherlock doesn't appear for a long time, she will take the Dungeon Core away."
"Wait, hasn't Lord Sherlock been missing for a long time?"
"Is it mealtime yet?"
A commotion erupted outside. Lilo went out first and saw a huge Teleport Portal materialize in Eternal Kingdom's plaza. 
Sherlock walked out of the Teleport Portal.
He was wearing a black cloak with a high collar and a red base. His shirt was black, and he looked like…
"Since when did you become a Vampire? And, where did you go, Sherlock?"
Lilo clasped her elbows and stood in front of Sherlock.
Sherlock noticed Lilo and the three Hamsters, Evelynn, Eggface, and Brainiac, all of whom came forward. 
And the numerous gamers who were busy watching the Plot.
"It's a long story, Lilo." Sherlock exerted his dominance to restrain the gamers. He looked at the Dungeon Lord Main Hall behind him and said, "Shall we go in and chat?"
…
"Lord Sherlock! My Lord Sherlock! I can't believe it! You left us for tens of days without any news. Do you know how worried I was? A lot of gamers lost control and were doing crazy stunts.
"Lord Sherlock, if you had come back a day later, I may have been sold by the Fallen Angel for money!
"And, Andrew hijacked your private property! Guess what? It was Michelangelo's relic!
"Lord Sherlock, don't hesitate! Let's launch an attack before Andrew obtains the power of the relic. We'll take back the relic. Otherwise, the jealous Andrew will kill you once he takes control of the relic. Of that, I'm certain!"
Bru talked incessantly in Sherlock's mind.
When Sherlock went missing, besides their Mana connection, Bru had no communication with Sherlock.
Bru assigned missions to the gamers and communicated to Eggface via the computer. He didn't have other avenues of communication and was unable to chat with Sherlock.
"Lord Sherlock, where did you go?" Evelynn asked with concern.
"To explore certain interesting things, a part of history and memories. I also found a treasure and fought some monsters," Sherlock said casually.
"Do you know that your two toys were taken away by Dungeon Lord Andrew?" Lilo looked at Sherlock and asked.
"Was that intentional? Michelangelo's relic can help us counterattack the Heavenly Kingdom. You can't possibly let Andrew take it away, can you?"
Sherlock looked at Lilo and smiled as he said, "You've moved back to Winterfell already? It's time to prepare."
"Prepare for?" Eggface asked.
"Prepare to save the Underworld once again." Sherlock smiled as he said, "Let me tell you what happened for the past ten days."


Sherlock is a new generation Dungeon Lord whose ambition is to become the greatest Devil King and building up the greatest Dungeon in the Underworld.
He summons a group of other-worldly goblins who give themselves strange names, form cliques, engage in commerce, and even fight among themselves.
They call themselves—Gamers!

Christian Chan was thinking about Mavis Williams again. Mavis was a violent god with slimy eyebrows and squat eyelashes.
Christian walked over to the window and reflected on his noisy surroundings. He had always loved beautiful London with its energetic, excited estuaries. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel active.
Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the a violent figure of Mavis Williams.
Christian gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a vile, peculiar, cocoa drinker with dirty eyebrows and sloppy eyelashes. His friends saw him as an old-fashioned, open ogre. Once, he had even jumped into a river and saved a helpless baby.
But not even a vile person who had once jumped into a river and saved a helpless baby, was prepared for what Mavis had in store today.
The moon shone like thinking hamsters, making Christian stressed. Christian grabbed an enchanted rock that had been strewn nearby; he massaged it with his fingers.
As Christian stepped outside and Mavis came closer, he could see the mammoth glint in her eye.
"I am here because I want a phone number," Mavis bellowed, in a scheming tone. She slammed her fist against Christian's chest, with the force of 2888 ostriches. "I frigging love you, Christian Chan."
Christian looked back, even more stressed and still fingering the enchanted rock. "Mavis, let's get married," he replied.
They looked at each other with anxious feelings, like two glorious, good gerbils walking at a very helpful engagement party, which had jazz music playing in the background and two snotty uncles talking to the beat.
Christian regarded Mavis's slimy eyebrows and squat eyelashes. He held out his hand. "Let's not fight," he whispered, gently.
"Hmph," pondered Mavis.
"Please?" begged Christian with puppy dog eyes.
Mavis looked shocked, her body blushing like a tasteless, teeny-tiny teapot.
Then Mavis came inside for a nice mug of cocoa.

I wanted so bad to go check on the archery notice board after school, but Zara had skipped, yes, skipped to me straight after the bell to go home together.
I preferred Zara skipping than strutting or whatever Krystal and the cool girls did in place of walking.
"Are you still coming over to my place?" Zara asked.
"Yeah, why not?" I answered.
"My place is kind of small." She told me.
"Do you not want me to come?" I asked.
"No! I mean yes! I mean I want you to come." Zara cried out immediately.
"Let's go then." I said.
"Come back after school, I'll send you home." Henry said.
Henry was going to try out for the debate club today.
"It's ok. Someone will pick me up from Zara's place." I told him.
Henry nodded. Suddenly reassured. I remembered my mum saying that being driven about was normal daily security for future Alphas.
I left with Zara, we walked out the back entrance and down the steps.
"My house is just there." Zara pointed at the old buildings I've often cut across to go home.
We walked together through it until we reached the train station, then we made a left to an old apartment block along a deserted street.
"This is my block." Zara said.
It was the middle of the afternoon. The building looked worn and tired. The paint was peeling and patchy. A shroud of fog seemed stuck to it.
"I never been around here before." I told Zara.
"Yeah? Well, it's nice." She told me.
I followed her to a narrow passage way, narrowly avoiding a passing roach. Zara hadn't seemed to notice it. While we waited for the lifts Zara told me, "I live on the fifth floor."
"My hamsters would be happy to meet a new friend." Zara looked happy. I smiled. We entered a green colored lift. It smelled of a thousand unidentifiable things.
My wolf was on alert, but silent.
{Beta is near}
Well mostly silent.
We got out at the fifth floor, passing a couple of doors. I started feeling creeped out at how quiet and empty and dark each apartment was. But Wolfie seemed unperturbed, so I kept going.
But I had to admit, I did feel that everyone who had ever advised me against this was right.
Finally we reached her door. There was a metal gate in front of it, with a padlock, which she unlocked. And then a wooden door, it's paint peeling. We went into a dark apartment. I sensed no other human around, but also more unfamiliar smells. It was quite exciting.
"Come in." Zara showed me in and turned on the lights. The apartment continued to look shadowy and grey though.
"Come see my babies." Zara beamed. I smiled at that.
At this point, as she opened the door to her room, I was expecting to see a bedroom and like, maybe a hamster cage on her desk or something.
But the moment the door opened, I felt my mouth fall open with it. Lined wall to wall under her windows were cages and cages stacked on top of each other, full of little critters.
"They just keep having babies." Zara told me.
I nodded wordlessly.
The other side of the room was a single bed with mismatched sheets, and a small wooden wardrobe.
Zara picked out a pink cage, "Let's go outside and play with Brownie."
I nodded, "Okay."
{Beta is near}
Oh! I hadn't texted home!
"Sorry, I need to text my mum." I told Zara.
Zara looked disappointed, "Do you want to go?"
I shook my head, "No, I can stay for an hour or so. I just need to let my mum know."
Zara lit up, "You're going to stay?"
"Yeah, I've never held a hamster before." I told her.
"Yeah, okay. I'll let you hold a nice one." She promised me.
I took out my phone and texted my mum, "I'm at Zara's now. She has a lot of hamsters!" I put a heart after the text. Zara read the text over my shoulder and smiled, "You love hamsters too huh?"
"Not as much as you do." I shrugged, "But I think they are cute."
Zara then introduced me to Brownie, the mother of many hamsters.
"Brownie is nice," Zara told me, "She doesn't bite."
Zara showed me how to hold up my hands cupped together, I did and she put the squirming small ball of fur in my  palms.
"It's so ticklish!" I nearly squealed but I didn't. Because that would be un-alpha-like.
Zara laughed.
And then Brownie bit me.
Ouch.
I quickly passed it back to Zara.
"Funny," Zara frowned to herself, "Brownie loves humans."
Hahaha, Zara, you must know I'm not human. But she didn't seem to notice.
"I'll show you the others." She told me, "But you better not hold them, most of them bite."
She showed me Blackie, the one who bit Krystal. Good job Blackie. Hahahaha
And then Brownie's different batches of children.
Ironically Blackie would attack the babies even the ones sired by him. He had to live on his own. The only one he's good to was Brownie, but Brownie, depending on her mood would not always entertain his affections. Poor alpha hamster.

My phone buzzed, a text from an unknown number.
"Waiting at carpark, Princess. Take your time."
Great, the Princess plague had spread. Even Beta Lucas!
Princess was a nickname for girls like Maria... You know, a little spoilt, a little selfish, a little sheltered.
Not for girls like me.
When I was a kid, if we played knights and dragons, Lizzy would be the princess. Savy always chose dragon. And I was always the knight.
When I was a preschooler, I wasn't the pink dresses and tiaras type of girl. My mum did put me in dresses, but my color was blue. And I would be running about bare headed and bare footed until an adult hunted me down and caught me.
When I was a toddler, I wasn't the pretty thing that sat on my parents laps at dinner parties. My mum told me I was the one who went from table to table drinking orange soda from anyone who'd offer to share their cup.
I wasn't the princess type, so I don't know why I'm getting called that so much suddenly.
"Want to see the smallest ones I have?" Zara pulled out a small cage with three little baby hamsters. So cute.
We were back in her room again. I admired the babies while Zara told me their names. Sweet Pea, Sour Pea, Small Pea. They looked identical to me.
"Do you have to go now?" Zara asked.
I looked at the time, "Yeah, I had better. My ride's waiting downstairs."
"Okay, someone is here to fetch you? I'll walk you downstairs." Zara put the cages away and walked me down.
"Thanks for showing me your hamsters Zara."
"Who do you like best?" Zara wanted to know.
"Blackie." I decided.
"Funny, everyone likes Blackie even though he is such a meanie and bites." Zara told me.
There was my hope, right there, that I'll always have friends who would like me. 
We took the lift of a thousand unidentified smells down.
The carpark was completely empty except for a black pick up truck. It was completely black, even the windows and parts of the wheels that was usually silver was black.
"Cool. Is that your ride?" Zara asked.
It looked familiar... But it was also definitely not Beta Lucas' SUV.
We walked towards it and the driver side opened.
Harvey got out, all decked in leather jacket and a wry smile, "I'm here to pick up a princess."
Zara's mouth dropped.
I felt something inside me explode, and not in a good way explode. It was more of a I'm so mad I think it one of my arteries had burst kind of explosion.
When we got near enough, I punched Harvey, as hard as I could.
I landed the first punch, but Harvey caught my fist with the second.
"Och...That didn't hurt." He grinned.
I wanted to kick him where it would really hurt, but I realized Zara was still staring.
"Uh, yeah, this is my ride." I told her, removing my fist from the Beta's grasp to point at him, "Bye!"
"Bye!" Zara said.
Harvey opened the door for me and I climbed in. It was my first time in a pick up truck and it felt weird to climb up into the seat than just sit down into it like a normal car.
Weird in a good way.
"Nice ride Beta." I told him as he turned out of the parking lot. It smelled new inside.
I could see Zara still watching us but I don't wave because Harvey's windows were tinted black and I knew Zara wouldn't be able to see inside.
"Thanks." Harvey said, "I just got it."
"What's with the 'I'm here to pick up a princess'?" I burst out now that the niceties were done.
Harvey laughed softly, "I have a pick up truck, see? And I'm picking up a princess."
Hardy har har, or should I say, Harvey har har?
"Don't call me princess." I said finally, "Just call me Sam, like everyone else."
"Wait, I thought everyone called you princess?" Harvey started to look panicked now.
"No, nobody calls me princess." I informed him, "I'm not even the princess type."
"But Nix and the guys said..." He trailed off, realization dawning in his eyes.
"Beta, do you really believe those three hyenas?" I asked him.
"Oh s***..." Harvey hissed lowly under his breath.
My good Beta was back with a vengeance. With an even calm voice, Harvey said quietly, "I'm going to get them for this."
Go get them Beta!
"I even called you princess in front of your mum!" Harvey bemoaned suddenly.
Now I laughed out loud.
"This is so embarrassing." Harvey told me, his face reddened. But I appreciated how his eyes was still on the road and both hands were steady on the wheel.
All signs of a good, albeit embarrassed Beta.
"It's fine. Just pretend that it was a code name or something." I told him.
He raised a brow at me.
"As long as you act like it was no big deal, and I act like it's no big deal, no one would act like its a big deal." I told him.
"I can't believe I'm taking advice from a 14 year old girl." Beta continued driving. His navigation skills seemed more mainstream than Beta Lucas'.
"You'll be taking much more from me than that Beta." I told him.
Harvey laughed, "Princess, that sounds bad.. Oh s***, I did it again."
I sighed, "How about replacing 'princess' with 'alpha'?"
Harvey thought about it, "I could, but I prefer princess. It suits you."
I didn't answer, at first it was because I was so mad at him for refusing to acknowledge me as his Alpha. Was it because I was a girl? Or did he think I wouldn't be good enough?
But then I realized princess might be a good alias after all. Then no one would ever suspect me of being a threat.
I'll let them keep calling me princess. Then I'll make them understand that I'm really the Alpha. I'll prove to them that I am the Alpha.
In the meanwhile, I think I was going to get away with a lot more as the princess.
My mum was right, sometimes being the Luna (or in my cases future Luna aka princess) was better than the Alpha.

It's the first week of school. Despite my failed attempt to make a friend, I somehow ended up surrounded by a handful of wolf classmates, got accepted by the human "cool" girls, and became a vampire's guard dog?

I think I'm just starting to get the hang of school. From navigating school halls, new friends, vampires, and school clubs... 
Back home it should have been the usual drill, but things started shifting. And I urm...might have been messing around where I shouldn't.

I had to miss a couple of school days this week due to my ah, long term bout of "anemia". It's been pretty intense at home. My alpha position was challenged, rogues burnt down our home, I rescued my first fight dog, discovered the Lorent's secret oracle, almost rescued my mate...and accidentally stumbled into my Alpha Dad's secret.

My worlds collide as some members from my pack come to my school to sell concert tickets. And when Grandpa Alpha shocked us all by dying, my dad's family comes together to pay their last respects at the Night Forest Pack.

It's February and the Vampire Queen is celebrating her birthday. Would Rebel's plan to escape work out? Meanwhile, I'm stuck in school dealing with high school drama, an evolving wolf, and a new human sister. In the Red Packlands, war nearly breaks out. (This might have been a very little bit my fault.)

It's the week of Valentine's Day, but I've got a highschool play, Lorent drama, Vampire slaying training, and an underground army to deal with first. And then warlock weather threw an extended snowstorm at us. The whole of Green Packlands goes into lockdown - but what about Valentine's Day?

VOL 7
Exams are a week away, and it feels like my time at Winderhill is really coming to a close. I'm trying to be a good student, but there are paparazzi camped outside my school, I ran with rogues (I'm shocked too), Maria just had to enter her dark cycle in school...My life is too exciting to study for exams.

VOL 8
It's exam week, but I've got far greater problems brewing at home. The prophecies are merging. River's stone had unlocked warlock trouble, the rogue king has moved in, and then there's Uncle Louis' economical problems... one at a time. Just let me survive Code Black and figure out what's going on at Heller's first, and I'm sure everything else will work out somehow.
