"I waited near the gate to make sure that they actually left," Hastin whispered. 
He never lied to anyone until now. He felt suffocated because of all the lies he was forced to tell everyone today. He thought to lie down on his bed but noticed the girl was still sleeping on the bed.
"Why is the girl still not awake? Is she really alive?" Hastin yawped.
'She will be awake, Quietus. Just that the more you delay in writing the story, the sooner all of them will starve to death.' Slaughter responded and started to laugh like a maniac.
Hastin couldn't say or argue anymore. He did think that if he delayed, then the app might get bored and let everyone go. He soon realized how naive his thoughts were.
He walked towards his desk and opened the laptop. A message which was sent by the app was being displayed on the screen.
'I hope you liked my gift. After all the hard work you did so far, I thought you deserved something as an appreciation. The gift which I meant is the girl. Her name is Akemi. She will do all the work for you. I only expect you to write, write, and write. I hope you do not have a problem with my arrangement, even if you have any I do not care. Since you are obedient so far, I decided to not punish you this one time for the mistake you committed. But keep in mind that this is your last and final warning. If you do anything foolish once again, then not only those victims who will die miserably. You can also fairly accompany them on their last journey. I am sure you are not half-witted like them. Remember until you obey me, you will reach the fame you deserve. I am already running out of patience and just try to refrain from doing anything funny again."

'Activating Akemi as per the instructions from the App', Slaughter uttered.
Akemi woke up from her deep sleep. A blue line appeared around her head. 
"Anata wa dare desu ka? Naze Koko ni iru no in…( Who are you? Why are you here?)" Before she could finish the sentence, her brain was short-circuited by the app. The Blue line around her head turned into purple and then red. It started to blink for a few minutes and then disappeared. 
Akemi's eyes became lifeless when the program was being installed into her brain. She was now completely under the control of the app. 
"What are you doing to her? Stop! I promise you, I will not do anything against your wishes or even be unbiddable. I will follow whatever you order me to do. Please, let her go" Hastin begged.
'Quietus, do not worry. The app has developed a system which can be used to control human beings once it is deployed into their brain. I think nothing would happen to her as per theory.'
"Theory? Didn't you test it before deploying?"
'That is what we are doing now, Quietus. Be patient. Hopefully, her brain must not be busted because of this installation.' Slaughter said calmly.
Hastin felt like puking when he imagined her brain being busted and spilled all over his room. He ran to the bathroom and shut the door. He dropped down on the floor but his mind was filled with the girl's lifeless eyes.
After staying inside the bathroom for almost half an hour, he opened the door and walked out. He saw that Akemi had gotten down from the bed and started to inspect the room. Her eyes were clear and she looked like an innocent kid.
Looking at the half-torn dress around her body and the way Akemi smiling at him made Hastin feel creeped out. It was completely different from the time she woke up and shouted, just a few minutes before.  
"Hello, Quietus! I am Akemi. I will be your personal companion from now on. I will take care of all your needs and provide you support throughout the journey of your writing. I will help you with emotional and physical support so that you won't be distracted while writing your book. It is nice to meet you" Akemi spoke like a robot in English and bowed down to greet him.
Hastin just nodded his head and moved away with terror. He still was not sure how much the app-controlled her. What if the app did not like the way he was writing the story and asked her to stab him with a knife. Or instructs here to torture him in other ways?
He moved back slowly and walked towards the kitchen. Then he opened the refrigerator and took a bottle of water. After he closed the fridge, he noticed Akemi standing close to him. The water bottle fell down from his hand because of the shock he received. 
"Quietus, you just have to ask me! I will do everything for you. Why are you wasting your time instead of writing?" Akemi asked with a childish voice.
Hastin picked up the bottle which he dropped a few seconds before. He walked away ignoring her. He was definitely scared out of his wits but did not show it to her. 
Even after being ignored by him, Akemi still followed him like a cute little puppy. He finally felt odd and stopped walking. Being not with anyone around for so long, he couldn't get used to being followed by someone so closely. 
"If I want something, I will call you immediately. Can you just sit on the sofa until I call you?" 
"Ok, Quietus." Akemi turned around and walked towards the sofa obediently.
"Also, can you stop calling me Quietus? My name is Hastin." Hastin said with hesitation as he was not sure if she would understand what he said or not!
"Ok, Hastin"
Hearing her reply, Hastin stared at Akemi as if he did not hear her correctly.
"What did you call me?"
"Hastin! Isn't your name Hastin?"
"Yes! My name is Hastin! Hastin, it is. Good! You are very good"
"Thank you, Hastin"
Hastin looked at the dress she was wearing and thought to buy her a few new sets. He was not sure what a girl would need, so he decided to instruct her to buy them herself online. 
But first, she needs some food. He was not sure how long that app made her starve. 
"Would you like some pasta? I know how to cook western dishes but not others. I am not sure what you would like to eat, so if you tell me I will order the food for you online." Hastin said.
"Oh! Do not worry about cooking, Hastin! I know how to cook. The app has installed all the cuisines into my brain and the instructions. As I said before, I will do everything for you. You just have to concentrate on your writing."
Again it goes back to writing once again. He even thought he would start to hate writing if Akemi says that once more. 
"I will write but tell me have you ever cooked in your life?"
Akemi thought for some time and said with a confused voice, "I don't know. I cannot recall what I was doing even yesterday. My memory is completely blank. Oh! Also, I wanted to ask you about something before. If your name is Hastin, then what is Akemi my name?"
Hastin now understood that the app has deleted all the previous memories of Akemi and rewrote it with what the app felt necessary. He did not know how to explain everything to her. And even if he did, what if the app did not want her to know.

Hastin was running out of ideas for his horror novel. By chance, he comes across an app which gives him ideas for his story. In the beginning, everything was smooth flowing. But later he finds out that whoever reads his story disappears and becomes the story character themselves...

After some breakfast mike opens a laptop and keeps an eye on the app feedback and no of downloads.

currently, the app beta version is free. He plans to charge after some user feedback and some user review over the app.

Mike looking at the background data of app there are no downloads and no of registered users. Overall downloads up to really exaggerated 20000 views in a single day and no of registered users 10000 members overall it's a good start.

when mike uploaded the app on the Android platform.

A certain location an author is checking the market for an app to reduce his work stress then he stumbled on the app which is the voice app he knows that's just fake no perfect voice input app is available until now. But under curiosity, he opens the app to try it for a trail.

His name was Harry. He was a professional author needed to submit a minimum amount of 10000 code word per day. As a professional to keep maintain good quality and quantity of daily updates.
when he is trying the app he uses daily work as a practice and pronunciation are perfect whether it is the word or phrase.
keep in mind he wanted to test to write his article. And uses the app to start writing an article and he keeps on using until the end of the article. He was surprised to find that Article is over and he just used 1hr to write 10000 codewords which are maintaining quality and quantity. His performance increases double at least. Today His performance is doubled and it was kind of fun to use an app with it my writing frequency increases at the same time my earnings.

Su Yang tapped on the app and realized that it worked!
The app was exactly what he asked for. There were jobs posted in it, and after he tapped on one, the job title, price, time, and description were displayed. The important 'Accept' button was also there.
Su Yang tapped on it but was led to a login interface. Then, he tried to register for an account but failed.
Deeny then messaged him: [Master, the app is still not connected to the server, so it's just an empty shell. You can't use it yet.]
As an internet and coding idiot, Su Yang asked a question that matched his image: [What's a server?]
Deeny replied with a sticker which showed a defeated look. She then explained: [A server is what takes care of your data and stores your information. It is the heart of your app. All the data received by the app will be sent to the server for processing.]
He realized he barely understood the theory behind the app. [Wait, wait wait, so what do I need now?]
[87 yuan. I'll go buy a server from Tencent Cloud, connect the app to the cloud, and we are done.]
'That's more like it. Simple and straightforward.'
Su Yang replied: [Can you pay for it first? I'll give you back the money later.]
Deeny was speechless. She knew that Su Yang was trying to scam her money, but she dared not disobey her master's tyranny, so she meekly replied with a crying emoji and went shopping for a server.

"Really?" Chu Xia did not fake her surprise. Her English had always been good, but it was not the best. She was, at most, top three in the class and barely got the first place in any exams.
Qu Xiaomeng nodded. Then, she told Chu Xia to sit down and said softly, "I have something to ask you. I want your opinion on this."
Chu Xia's big round eyes were overflowing with curiosity. "What's the matter?"
Qu Xiaomeng further softened her voice, "Only three people passed the midterms."
The revelation stunned Chu Xia and her jaw dropped, "N-no way!"
Qu Xiaomeng looked troubled. "I don't want to believe it either but…are my lectures boring?"
Chu Xia shook her head. "No! They are very interesting! I like your English lecture the most!"
Qu Xiaomeng locked eyes with Chu Xia. She believed that the girl was not lying, and judging from the test results, Chu Xia might be the second one in the class who liked American drama series. It was normal for her to enjoy the class, but not so much for the other students.
On the other hand, Chu Xia related the matter to Su Yang. 
'If only three people have passed the test, that means Su Yang is going to fail…but I guess it's fine since there are a dozen more students who have failed the test. 'Maybe his score will be a lot closer to the second last place…but I didn't know the others didn't like American drama series. "You passed the English test and got top three in class."

The next day, I go to my usual private place with my friends. I'm hoping, I don't run into that girl again, but I'm sure spending time with my friends won't be as bad as yesterday. That is partially why I'm going with my friends, but all of them said they had something to show me. 

 I wonder what it is.


 I arrive at our usual private place. They all look sleep deprived, but Lucas is smiling and pulls out his phone. His phone is white, it's a bit cracked on the screen, but only the bottom right- hand corner. He swipes on his phone and pulls out an app, I've never seen. It's odd I've never seen it as it looks like the logo would stand out or be popular. The logo is a cartoon chicken hatching out of an egg. It has the top of the egg on its head, and the rest of its body in the egg, It's blue and looks extremely puffy added along with green eyes. It looks like something a professional company would make.


 He opens it and to my surprise, it's a chatbot, the app didn't have a clear name it looked more like something you'd call it in testing. It was called chat if you're a chicken. I doubt anyone would download it with that name. He hands over his phone, and he asks me to play around with it. It has multiple chat features such as talking about Love, Careers, Inspiration, Art, Magic, etc. It has multiple features and they're all separated evenly so it's easy to use. I go to the career  one and click it.  I type in "What do I need to be successful in a career." It pops up with a chicken kicking the screen saying hard work. It's like a little emote. It says ambition showing a buff goat. It has white fur with its fur being replaced by muscle and calves of steel. It gets a chuckle out of me. It finally shows drive. It shows a chibi dragon, drawn in a cartoon style like the others spouting a small flame out of its mouth. I continue to play with the app and it has several dialogues, some stuff repeats as expected, but it has much more human responses. I especially like the emotes, they make it kind of fun.



 Lucas after seeing this says 

 "We made the app together. Me, John, and Noah."

 John says 

 "I want to make a steady income for me and Abby to have a future together. I thought it was about time, I think about the future, now that I have an idea where it's headed. I divided up the interfaces knowing people would want to talk about different things and it leads to a more human response. Of, Course Lucas wrote all of the responses."

 Noah goes next and remarks


 " I made the emotes. I thought having them would make it feel like you were texting a real person. It was also fun to draw them and make something no one saw before. I'm going to have to take over my family, so I have to prove myself to them, that I'm a worthy heir to the household. I'll do it through my art and prove it through the pictures I paint, the pictures speak for themselves.


 Lucas is next, but I already know he did the writing, so what's his motivation.


 "As you can tell, I did the writing and worked hard to make it. John said, he could make it easier for me, but I refused. I need to work hard. Ever since I was young it was the only thing, I knew how to do. Writing, just seems like the right way for me, you know man."


 He also says

 "Sorry."

The other two say it also, but I'm unsure as to why.

Noah is the one to clarify

"The reason we're saying sorry is because we didn't include you, but no offense you'd just slow us down. You'd be a hindrance plus you can't really deliver anything to the table."


He was right, I couldn't get mad, he was completely right. I was inadequate. 
 
 What skills did I have?
 
 How could I even help these talented people?
 
 I couldn't help, and as much as it frustrates me, I can't say anything back.

 The reason they called me out here was for an opinion of someone outside who made the app. I know, I was probably their closest friend to show, but couldn't they have shown it to someone else besides me. The others just stare in silence silently agreeing with Noah not saying anything. 


 "The App was great, I hope you're successful with it."

 Lucas shouts to me as I start walking away "LIAM, DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS FOR NAME!?"

 I reply with "It's your app, I have no right to name an app, I wasn't part of making."


 I completely understand where they're coming from, but damn it. I'm envious of their skills, passion, and motivation. They're already going places but look at me. I'm getting bullied by a girl who doesn't know me, and already hates my drawings, My passions are being crushed slowly. 

 I may not be good enough to get further in my dream, the dream I have, I may not even accomplish it, I'm already on the verge of giving up.

Even though He Lixue had complete and utter faith in her ability, she had no interest in being arrogant. She was just going to do enough to stand on top of the class and show the people who doubted Lu Nanfeng's personality that he had not put an uneducated person into the course. 
The professor was snorting in disdain as he looked at He Lixue. He only saw her as a way to gain those outstanding computers, but he absolutely had no hope for her to be able to deal with the coursework. 
However, as he looked at her hands, he frowned. She held a very prestigious book in her hands about programming, a book that he had been searching for for many months. He had wanted to buy it, but he did not have enough capital to buy it, and now that he saw it in her hands, he could not help but feel jealous. Why was Lu Nanfeng treating such a wasteful person so well? 
Although he wanted it, he did not cause problems. He knew that if he took the book away from her, then she would likely complain to Lu Nanfeng, and his position would be vacated. This was something he could not afford to gamble with.

He Lixue ended up alone, no one wanted to have her in their team, and she smiled slightly. 
There were only those two lessons that day, the rest of the time was reserved for them to study on their own, and if they had questions, they could enter the office and contact the professors available at that time.

The next few chapters will be a bit more fast-paced, as I'm mostly writing the same things for more chapters.

At the start of the first month, Ronan spent a lot of time looking for some part-timers he can hire to fix bugs, he spent a lot of his money that he gained, in total hiring 3 people for a total of $100 each per month, they were mainly doing it for experience but paying them a bit of money also helped them, but because they weren't experienced all the fixes they added were tested in the beta program that was added into the app by Ronan, it allowed people to have access to  the latest updates without any guarantee that it worked perfectly, Ronan also spent a lot of time on creating a feedback system, instead of them writing reviews they can just submit feedback, it would be sorted based on the subject so that they can be categorized and easier to find them.

It took Ronan over 10 days for all of this to be completed, he also got his money from Jake whilst handing off the textbooks and he stopped completing textbooks so he can focus more on his app.

Ronan was also looking forward to going home in 2 months, in 2 months the college was on break for 2 weeks, so he could go home to visit his family and by then Ronan was expecting to at least have the app be self-sufficient, with himself possibly hiring a couple of people to fix the bugs and improve performance.

But right now Ronan was constantly trying to fix and update his app with his 2 'proteges'.

Over the next 5 days Ronan finish his mission for running, but kept running, the rewards were mediocre and Ronan didn't even notice the difference between having the skill and not, he had to rent more servers because he had over 120k people using his app, it was growing at a steady pace and especially because of the advertisements he was getting more and more exposure, he had set out a plan in order to make more money from his app, he was even thinking farther into the future about making another app and creating more opportunities, but that had to wait until the future, when his current app was making a decent amount of money.

In the meantime, Ronan was finishing off all his coursework for the week, he was trying to finish all his coursework for the week in 1 day then he can focus on his app, it was fairly simple, some of it was Business Law, part of it Accounting, some Website design and logo design, but mostly it was endless typing, designing products and marketing techniques, etc. Various different things, all related to business and all done in a single day.

Every other hour Ronan would take 5 minutes to check his App statistics, how many people are returning, how often people are online for, when they are online, why they are online if they use it to talk to people or are doing it to try and find bugs, either way, Ronan isn't too bothered because when they use his app he gets paid, only a small amount per person, but it adds up over the thousands.

Most of the last half of the month was spent on creating another app, but this one was bigger, it was going to take a lot of time and it was only a project, it was an Idle-MMORPG, a type of game where you can play and level up without being there, it was a great idea and many people had created games similar, but it was obvious to Ronan that it would take him at least 2 months to get all the basics down, and by that point he will have to hire people to get all the graphics and animation done, then its all about padding out the game, he would probably have to hire an economics graduate to create the economy, balance out the game so it's not too op for people who pay and the player base doesn't implode due to the people who pay killing off all the people who don't.

Anyway back to the present, Ronan was got paid for another time, it was every month on the 21st, 1 day after Riverwood gets paid, he gained over $3000 this month, his user base had doubled from 120k to 250k and he paid for more large and widespread advertisements online, fortunately it was still cheap only ending up paying another $100 on top of what he was already paying, in total he had to pay out over $1500 a month, $200 for 2 programmers, $700 for advertisements and $600 for servers, he had also checked out many different places to rent servers as these were on the higher payment end, compared to others, but if he backed out of the contract he would have to pay for another 2 months upfront which he could afford but would take a lot of his available money from Ronan.

Ronan had a lot of things to do, his coursework load was getting heavier and the deadlines were getting shorter, his app was getting more and more people, so he had to do more and more bug fixing so that he can keep the people coming back instead of switching over to the next messaging app.

Ronan had 18 more months of coursework then hopefully he can focus on his work or at least some sort of work whether it is creating apps or working for some company in the business administration, he would also have to write a CV, perfect it for a job, either way, he has a lot to do now and he doesn't really have a lot of time to do it in.

Ronan Atkins is a 20-year-old student, he studies Business Administration at Trinity College, it is considered as one of the best colleges to learn Business Administration in the world and in order to obtain a scholarship Ronan had to pass many tests, most of which have nothing to do with the actual course he was studying in, after passing all those tests he was finally given the scholarship he dreamed off, but even after getting the scholarship his life was hard, he had to work several jobs in order to pay for food and accommodation.
Until one day, when he is working part-time at a convenience shop something happens...
