By the junction at the main road, opposite the boardwalk from the city park, stands an Ash tree. 
It is not especially big, or especially old. At first glance there is no reason to think of the tree as anything significant. 
However, there are rumours about this tree. If one was to stand in front of the tree and wish with all their might for success, you are almost guaranteed it. It is believed that the tree has magical powers, and many people will vouch for them; this makes the tree extremely popular, especially around young people striving for their dreams. 
Of course, the rumours are baseless, there is no truth behind it whatsoever. 
However, this single Ash tree is special, it is magical, for two reasons. 
One, it can read your mind, and in extreme cases even influence your actions. 
Two, this tree used to be human.

"We observed them for a few years," Ye Xiaoxing continued. "The new generation of Dragon King Town has a couple characteristics. They're all men, or rather, they resemble men. In truth, due to them reproducing asexually, the concept of gender has long since disappeared in Dragon King Town."
"Wait." Meng Chao frowned and said, "Even if all the women who transmigrated from Earth died, the new generation born in the Other World should have a relatively balanced male to female ratio, right? This asexual reproduction should at most last for only one generation. How could all of them be men?"

He pointed at a picture and asked, "What are these people doing? Peeing?"
In the photo, a row of Dragon King Town members had their backs turned to the camera. They stood facing the Divine Tree with their loincloths removed. They seemed to be peeing. 
Ye Xiaoxing was silent for a while before he shook his head slowly and said, "No."
Lu Siya coughed softly by the side and Meng Chao looked at her. 
Lu Siya met his stare with an expressionless mask. 
Meng Chao then instantly understood. 
Truly… humanity had become distorted, and morals had died!
"What is this?"
Meng Chao pointed at another photo. 
It depicted something like a funeral in Dragon King Town. One of the humans had died, and the other town members were digging a shallow pit near the roots of the Divine Tree to place him there. 
By the looks of it, they wanted the Divine Tree to completely digest and absorb the corpse.
They lived in a world shrouded by fog where resources were limited. In order to survive, even corpses were valuable resources. They could not waste even a single bit of them. 
Meng Chao could understand and accept this sort of burial custom. 
What he could not understand was why the deceased's corpse had a huge poster on it with a cute anime girl. 
Based on the bright colors of the poster, it was impossible for it to be a product from before the transmigration. It was something that had just been printed. 
This meant that even though Dragon King Town had become completely different decades after transmigrating and the new generation humans had forgotten the glory of Earth's civilization, they still had the ability to print large posters of cute 2D anime girls?
This was too strange!
"This is a unique belief and custom among the new generation of Dragon King Town members," Ye Xiaoxing explained. "More importantly, the humans over there have already formed a symbiotic relationship with the Divine Tree, and it cannot be broken. Right now, all of the Dragon King Town citizens are born from the Divine Tree. If Dragon City sends powerful fighters to destroy the Divine Tree, they're going to fight against us to the bitter end.
"Also, don't forget what I just said, the digestive system of the humans in the town is very weak. They can't digest anything besides the juices of the Divine Tree.
"We suspect that there is a mysterious substance that we don't know in the juice the Divine Tree excretes. It can't be replaced by any high-nutritional fluid. If we destroy the Divine Tree, we might end up starving all of the town members to death. 
"Even if they don't starve to death, they have lived in that sort of environment their whole lives. Their culture, morals, customs, states of mind, and beliefs are centered around the Divine Tree. If we destroy the Divine Tree, their minds will break, and they will suffer a pain worse than death. Would that be saving them?
"Regardless of whether or not we're willing to accept it, when Dragon King Town was nearly destroyed, the Divine Tree's arrival saved the survivors.
"It doesn't matter whether it's original goal was to look for a group of qualified worker ants and soldier ants. In the end, it helped Dragon King Town preserve human civilization, albeit in a very deformed and twisted way. 
"If it weren't for the Divine Tree, Dragon King Town would have been destroyed decades ago in the hands of humans themselves. 
"If you look at it from another angle, crudely labelling the Divine Tree as an enemy isn't suitable, especially when we already have so many enemies to handle."
Meng Chao thought about it carefully. He had to admit that Ye Xiaoxing made sense. 
If he treated survival as the most important thing for a civilization, the Divine Tree did allow Dragon King Town to survive. 
Over the decades, it had provided shelter for the humans and helped them reproduce. It even helped humans fend off against monster invasions as well as provided raw materials and gave them a way to pass down their intelligence. 
If Dragon City recklessly destroyed the Divine Tree, they would only bring Dragon King Town's destruction. All of the townspeople might die with the Divine Tree. 
Even though Meng Chao thought that the current Dragon King Town was deformed and twisted, this was not a good reason to destroy them. The new generation of Dragon King Town's people were not the men who had killed each other in the past. Loving anime was not a crime!
"So, what is Dragon City going to do about Dragon King Town?" Meng Chao asked. 
"For the time being, we're only going to observe them from afar," Ye Xiaoxing said. "Once we absorb the fruits of the northern offense and steadily expand Dragon City's territory as well as upgrade our technology and fighting power, we'll handle the situation appropriately.
"Fortunately, the Divine Tree isn't an Other World creature with high offense and desire to expand its territory. It's satisfied by just staying in Dragon King Town and controlling this small colony. Besides, after observing it for a long period of time, we noticed that the Divine Tree doesn't have any intelligence or consciousness. It just has instincts which are familiar to those of a queen ant or queen bee.
"But not all Other World creatures are like the Divine Tree. Many of the high-grade monsters are incredibly offensive and possess high intelligence, or at least, they have the ability to eventually possess super intelligence. 
"Think about it, if another satellite city similar to Dragon King Town ended up in the hands of a highly intelligent monster that is much more aggressive, and to survive, formed a symbiotic relationship with them, would this also give birth to a brand new civilization after decades of development?"


Fifty years ago, Dragon City transmigrated to the Other World. Alone in the world, they lifted the banner of Earth’s civilization and fought against the terrifying forces of the Other World.
And in the end, Dragon City was destroyed. 
Then, Meng Chao was reborn after Dragon City was destroyed, and he returned to the time fifty years after Dragon City transmigrated to the Other World. But he was not alone, he returned with a system named Kindling, who told him that he can become stronger if he contributed to society.

In the beginning, he only wanted to make small contributions to the society by teaching them technology, martial arts, and skills from the future, and in the end, everything snowballed from there, and he found that… Earthlings were really insane. 


The mana within my body had definitely flowed and it reacted to my imagination. Why didn't it activate? I thought about all the elves in the anime and manga and come up with a theory. Is it possible that elves were unable to use fire spell? In some anime and manga, certain species have certain affinities to what element of spell they could use. In the anime and manga, most elves would use spells that were of the wood or plant element. Maybe the method was right but the body was unable to use fire affinity spell which cause me to fail in casting the spell.
This time, I decided to choose a relatively simple spell seen in most anime and manga. I chose a tree and imagine it growing up tall and high. Afterwards, I yelled, "Grow!"
Again, I felt the mana within my body moving and gathering in my body. This time, the mana flowed to my hand and the mana was transferred to the tree which resulted in the tree growing. 
Seeing this, I could not help but to leap in the air and shouted out loud since I had proven that Magic was real. My body changing to an Elf was definitely magic but this attempt at casting the magic and making it work was like magic to me. 
However, in my joy, I realized that I did not stop the flow of magic and the tree was still growing at the same rate and it was only when a shade suddenly appeared on top of me that I realized what had happen. The spell had worked but it had worked too much.
The tree that I have casted that magic on was now twice the size of the trees surrounding it. The sudden growth of the tree had raised the attention of the park managers who was coming along with some park keepers along with some passers-by who had also seen the growth of the tree which was picked up by me thanks to the enhanced hearing. 
I quickly climbed the surrounding trees and jumped from tree to tree while making sure not to catch the attention of the people approaching the tree that I have casted magic on and made a quick getaway from the centre of attraction.

The ability to change to other species may sound cool but have you seen the result of what will happen if a robot entered a pool or a vampire went for a tan? What an inconvenient ability I have.

Hana opened her eyes. The early morning rays fell on her as she lied in bed, thinking. Of course, the first thing to take care of was money. Hana had no desire to return to school. Frankly, high school education was useless to her since she was an adult. 

However, becoming a hunter . . . now that was interesting. The minimum age to enter a dungeon was sixteen, meaning she qualified this year. And she had a system cheat. 

Hana moved to the living room where the sole computer in the house was at. She needed more information about this world. 

"Morning Rina," Hana greeted. 

"Good morning sister." Rina sat at the table, sleepily rubbing her eyes. A small piece of toast lied before her. Rina blinked. "Sister, where is Blackie?" 

Hana started. "Blackie?" She searched through her memories. Ah right, it seemed like her predecessor had an Zorua summon. It accompanied her everywhere like a pet. Now that she recalled, the girl didn't know how to use the system so the Zorua was always out. 

Hana suddenly had a thought. "Rina, is there anime here?" 

Rina blinked. "What's anime?" 

Hana's face blackened. Such a godly cheat is wasted here. No wonder her predecessor didn't know how to use the cards in the system! The system couldn't directly tell users how to use cards. It was likely that it was up to the user's creativity and memory, meaning prior knowledge of the anime was required. 

After Rina left for school, Hana decided to head toward the forest near their apartment to test out the system.

Hana beamed. It seemed like the cards she started off with were pretty good. So far, she could see that there was 4 types in the cards she had. Weapon and creature were self explanatory. 'Special' seemed to mean many different things, almost like a miscellaneous category. As for innate . . . she asked the system. 

[Innate type cards directly affect the host body constitution. They are permanent and will vanish upon use]

"Ok, use Fire Dragonslayer Body!" The card shone, then vanished from the storage. 

Immediately, Hana felt strength pouring into her body. Her eyesight sharpened. She could hear even the slight gurgling of a river 50 miles away. She could smell a fruity scent from the east, most likely wild berries. 

"Amazing!" She threw a punch, hearing the wind break as her fist tore through air. Her body was now more similar to her previous one. 

She ran forward, through the forest. Leaping over shrubbery and roots, she easily sprinted across at high speed for 15 minutes. Eventually, Hana slowed down in a clearing. 

"Summon all creature cards!" 

Immediately, a Zorua, Chimchar, and Eevee appeared before her. "Zor!" The Zorua immediately ran forward, rubbing against calves. The Chimchar and Eevee crowded around cheerfully. 

"You're Blackie huh?" Hana rubbed the Zorua's head. It was so cute! She wanted to squish it to death! 

"Today, we're gonna test out your powers." Hana announced. The three Pokemon looked shocked. The Chimchar even rolled its eyes doubtfully. 

Hana patted its head sadly. Her predecessor didn't know that her summons had powers, only treating them as pets. If she had used them correctly, maybe she wouldn't have died. 

"Alright, Chimchar, Flame Wheel on that tree!" Hana yelled with a smile. Almost everyone watched Pokemon as a kid. She was super eager to battle with them like on screen. 

The Chimchar gaped for a moment. It's eyes widened, and almost teared slightly. "Chimchar!" It's body exploded into a flaming wheel, rocketing toward the tree. 

The blazing force smashed through the tree easily, creating a large boom as it collapsed. The stump was now charred in top, but cut through. 

"Nice!" Hana exclaimed. 

"Chimchar!" Chimchar rushed forward, even more excited than her. It's owner finally allowed it to battle after all these years! 

For the next few hours, Hana had tested out all the Pokemon. She couldn't exactly remember all their move sets, but it seemed like they could perform the general moves fine. 

As evening came, she fell into a dilemma. She had an evolution card that likely should evolve a Pokemon, but which one should she use it on? She didn't know how rare it was to get one, but she only had two draws left. 

"System, evolve Eevee." Hana decided. Currently, she couldn't remember much moves Eevee could use. It was better if it evolved into one of the elemental types. 

[Please select the evolution pathway] 

Hana widened her eyes slightly. Nice, she had her pick. "I want Glaceon." 

In her card storage, the Eevee and Evolution cards combined together. Eevee's body glowed, turning multicolor. The form enlarged until she changed into a Glaceon. "Glaceon!" 

A new card appeared.

Hana returned Glaceon and Chimchar into her storage space. Checking her status, it didn't seem to change, except her card number dropped. 

"Blackie, let's go home!" She scooped up Zorua, heading toward the apartment. 

Entering, it seemed like Rina was already home. She was quietly doing homework on the desk. 
Her eyes lit up as Hana walked in. 

Hana smiled. "I went to the forest today and caught some fish. Let's have that for dinner." 

Rina's eyes lit up when she saw Blackie. "Ok."

Hana Zhao never thought reality would change after one night. She fell from the top assassin in a peak organization to a powerless teen straddled with debt. 

Transmigrating into the mysterious Tower Between Worlds, she is now part of a world where humanity has supreme abilities. Dangerous dungeons are an integral part of life on every floor. Within this New Age, Hana will climb her way to the top as a dungeon hunter.

It was a quiet night. The sky was full of shining stars, like those of the ones being describe in 'twinkle, twinkle little stars.' Bonfire was in the middle and Benjirou was scouting, looking sharply, sitting on a high branch of the tree present there. It was the time when suddenly Andrea, who was sitting next to Guren started a topic. It seems like she was bored playing with fire already.

[{Query: Master, I want to ask something.}]

"Hmm? Ask away. I'd rather hate it when it's silence. It makes the night even colder. It's April back in there, so maybe it's the same here?" (Note: When Guren said "back there" he means in the world he came from.)

Andrea's curiosity just keeps digging. Meanwhile, even though he was silent, above the tree was this Benjirou listening attentively on the conversation.
 
"Well, you see, The protagonist there has this strange but nice name. 'Kirito', and he got that name from his first Kirigaya(Kiri) Kazuto(to). Interesting, right? Hehe, I was idolizing him for his character and before I knew it, I based my name in VLF on him. Yuiga(Yui) Guren(ren). Yuiren. That's it."

Gently scratching his face while slightly blushing. Guren, explained his reasons.

"Wha— you don't hold back, do you? Its really a nice name, you know? You think so too, right , Benjirou?"

He looked up the tree where Benjirou was sitting in the pretext of scouting. There, even though he was surely not saying anything, Guren was assured that he was all for the topic. And just to be clear, Guren just want someone to be on his side.

Guren heaved a sigh after hearing his answer. Welp, he failed to get him on his side..

"I really like this name though. {Status Open}..."

He opened his status and stared at it for a short while, then not long right after, he swiped it making it revert.

"It reminds me of Kirito... I am in the same situation of him, after all. More or less."

He said with a mellow voice and a slightly dim eyes, then looked up the skies. It sure is bright full of stars. This moment, probably Guren was thinking of Hikari and Sakura.

This  gal really is merciless. Though he was hesitant, he can't say no to that curious eyes and to that ears from a certain tree.

"Sakura... That name came from the name of my older sister. Sakura–nee."

"This girl! You don't know anything. The scariest of all was Sakura-nee! Ugh. Just remembering makes me want to puke." 

He put his hand on his forehead as if he was having a massive headache that time. 

"That-that one time I forgot to eat because I too engrossed watching anime... She gave me a splendid, perfect German suplex! Luckily it was on the sofa that I survive... And that one time, when I didn't washed the dishes, she burned all the manga and L.N that I was collecting! Can you even believed that!? And when we are practicing in grandpa's dojo, she made me her practice doll!!! Just, remembering it... just remembering it makes me...Guh! She's a devil in a goddess don!"

Guren, a second-year high school student, awoke in a strange world that coincidentally resembled the VR game he adored. He was unsure, however, because he lacked proof. Sam opens his eyes and the first thing he see's is darkness, nothing other than darkness.
He tries to remember how he got here but fails to do so , then he suddenly notices that his body no longer posses any shape and matter, as he cannot feel his body at all and feels his existence seemed to be different from what he had ever felt before. Sam suddeny realises  his current predicament.

Sam : Am I seriously dead ? 

Before Sam can even have enough time to take everything in, he suddenly hears a voice.

Mysterious Voice : So you are finally awake my child, it has been a long time since we last spoke.

Before Sam can even think the voice removes the sadness from his heart. It is removed from its very roots and helps him completely calm down. The mysterious voice resonates with the very core of his soul and makes him feel very close to it, so close as if he was a new born child listening to his mothers voice for the first time in his life.

Memories start flowing into Sam's brain and he starts remembering his past life :

It also turns some of the stolen power into a fruit of chaos. Anyone who eats this fruit will get a monstrous amount of power, and the said individual will be able to defy the order of the world to a certain extent, however in due time they will turn into slaves of the tree of chaos, the stronger the order of the world laws the weaker the backlash caused by eating the fruit however the backlash can only be weakened to a certain extent.
The Fruit of Might in Dragon Ball Z, the devil fruits in One Piece, the fruit Kaguya in Naruto ate to Acquire her powers are examples of the fruits of Chaos. The power and effects of the fruit of chaos as I have said earlier vary from one world to another.
Your Job is to weaken the tree and strengthen the law of the world by traveling in these world's, also keep in mind that the moment u leave a world a powerful seal will be placed on your power and memories you acquired in that world. 

Sam : So you wanted the angels to weaken the Tree Of Chaos and Strengthen the World laws and then now u want me to do it ? ( º _ º)

God : Yes that is what I want you to do and but not the angels. The Angels are existences that have surpassed the laws of any and every world so hence, they cannot interfere in the way a world normally works so I would just have them protect someone.

Sam : You mean like plot armour ?

God : You can say so.

Sam : Will I get plot armour too if I do this job .

God : Plot armour needs Angels and if I have to send them as it is, then what's the use of sending you ?

Sam : Then why aren't you doing something about it yourself then and don't tell me it is because you don't want to interfere in ways of the world as u want us mortals to pick our own path as you sending me is literally interference in the way things are going to go if they are left alone, while u telling me what to do is adding like adding a cherry on top of a cake as I do not want to have anything to do with this shit and its all your will, or can it be that the Tree of Chaos itself is against your will or it is something that u do not have the power to interfere with ?

God : No, the tree of chaos was created by one of my children, I can stop it and destroy it or even control or alter it, whenever I want to but that would need me to interfere with the world laws which would rob a lot of my children of their free will, so that's where you come in.
The creator of the tree of chaos is only trying to steal the power of different worlds of different realm's/dimension's and tree after stealing that power will send it back to its master while u just have to ensure the power is returned back to the world itself.

Walter

A skinny tall boy sat cross-legged on the red mat on the floor watching an anime on the television. He was so focused on the screen. This is the 7th episode of his favorite anime, watching continuously uninterrupted that it turned his eyes bloodshot and drew each eye with a big eye bag. 

He shivered, his hands were curled into fists. "Darn," he whispered through gritted teeth. He wore a violet tee-shirt and a slightly loose pair of jockey boxers. His dark blond and spiky hair is portraying rogue as how intensified his feelings are. He bit his lower lip as if he is collecting all the emotions each anime character on the screen produces. His knuckles turned all white from his forceful exertion and clenching of his hands. Anger boiled through the pit of his guts that it causes his stomach to rumble in response.

Suddenly, the alarming sound from his alarm clock boomed. He was startled as he quickly paced up to turn the television off. He jumped to his bed and slammed his hand on the alarm clock on the table to shut it off. He closed his eyes, hoping that his mom wouldn't notice that he hasn't slept the night.

Walter does this almost every day, he called it the 'anime-booming', a ritual where he sets an alarm at every 4:30 in the morning before he goes to sleep, because surely when 5 o'clock in the morning comes, his mother will surely wake him up no matter what sorts of alibis he'll excuse. To ready him for school at such an early hour of the day is such a drag. He has gadgets and a laptop, but he prefers watching on his television. Watching on big screened TVs makes him understand what he is watching more than watching on any kind of screens, but to avoid being caught he forcibly tended on watching on his phone occasionally, avoiding any high-pitched irritating song his mother will sing, scolding him about what would happen to him, lecturing him the facts he already knew that he'll be unhealthy and could get himself scrawny from being skinny—about how his ritual causes him headaches and sleeping in classes which results to having low grades, but he hasn't even paid a single attention to those advices.

He closed his tired eyes and pulled his thick blanket to cover himself even though the surrounding is sultrily agitating. He fell asleep in a minute in his soft king-sized bed which comforts him amidst the murkiness of the room in a mess. Magazines, books, new anime posters, anime tapes and a red hooded jacket were laid on the matted floor, arranged in chaos.

He dreamed. His dreams are all anime related—he being an élite wizard, a handsome prince, a demon, an angel, and even becoming an animal who talks. In his dream, he is wandering along the green pathway that is tiled with cobblestones. He is heading to a green meadow. In the midst of the green-grass-filled meadow stood firm the deteriorated leafless looking tree. The tree seemed to be breathing, and every breath it emits pulls him closer to it. The air is filled with alluring scents, the scent of vanilla mixed with the heady aroma of a freshly brewed coffee. The smell touches his nose thus making him feel elated.

He walked towards the tree, a dead looking tree that casts luring scents that is making the surrounding feels more as lively as alive.

As he edges closer, he feels more and more discomforting. He stands on the meadow about meters away from the tree. His dream grew more vivid that he began feeling queasy. His stomach is rumbling in agitation. He had now finally reached the lifeless leafless looking tree. He unconsciously reached his cold hand on the trunk, feeling the cold coppery dark-brown bark seeping into his sense of touch. His hand was glued into the tree instantly after he put it, he tried to pull it out but his waggling did no effect. Cold dark-colored bark began moving to cover his entire hand, his right-hand had completely sunken into the trunk of the leafless tree.

He moved his gaze away from the tree while still waggling his hand out. He noticed that the grasses on the meadow have started turning brown, they are wilting like the lives inside them have been sucked out, the cloudless beautiful morning sky is suddenly filled with dark cumulonimbus clouds. Rain was about to pour as thunders started rumbling. The tree began to grow, from 4.5 meters it grew to 9 meters tall, yellow-green leaves sprouted from the tree's twigs and branches simultaneously. The hollow trunk is filled with nutrients from the depths of the earth in the meadow. He felt shaky as trees began growing around him, surrounding him with lifeless leafless deteriorated trees, the whole green meadow becomes a shaggy forest of dead looking trees. His hand is now freed. He probed the lifeless tree as it shifts onto a tall full of foliage tree.

He stepped back, his mouth had hung open. He moved his left hand to caress his right hand, he massaged and probed it, checking if there were bones been broken or gone into the heart of the tree.

The once was a green meadow is now a brown shaggy forest, the trees around him are lifeless except for the tallest willow which stood the greenest and has the most number of leaves. He looked for the walkway where he had followed, leading him this way, but he couldn't find it, not even the green trace of it.

He walked away, heading to the north. From down the sloppy trail, the brown grasses and the dirt slowed him down, preventing him from walking fast. He looked up and beheld the dark sky. The thunders have roared much louder by now as tiny drops of rainwater started drizzling the path he is walking. The fogs fume the forest which grew it more dazing, making his mind fuzzy as he wandered north. His white sports shoes were soaked with dirt but he didn't mind his heavy feet now, all he aims was to get away from this shaggy and creepy forest. He hooded himself from the hood of his red jacket. 

There, down the slope stood the fine pine trees and big green trees. He smiled knowing that finally he is able to reach a not so eerie place, but the mists are much greater here which doesn't improve his mood. He wandered slowly and now feeling a bit happy to feel the hard earth beneath the soles of his shoes that took times walking on the muddy trail. He scraped his shoes on a sharp edged rock he saw. 

He ventured along the mist. Soon, soft laughter and giggles from some sort of high pitch voices loomed in the air. His face drew a wide grin knowing that in his every dream he always end up meeting beautiful girls, either they end up dying just to get him or fighting each other just to win his heart (a very harem-like genre of an anime). Ecchi.

He traced the voices. There on the thickest part of the forest, where thin mists are covering the tall bushy looking grasses, in there the voices are at the loudest, so he heads that way with a smile growing wider and wider as he edges closer.

He fixed his hair and fixed himself as he continued walking with a smirk on his face. The giggles drove him more curious and curious, so he confidently sashayed into the heart of the thick grassy trail. Finally, he stumbled out from the green thick grasses. A lively swamp met him. He seek for the source of the voice. The green swamp is neat and inviting. The grasses were not so dense. He stepped his shoes into the swamp, the frigid water greeted him but it did not stop him to locate the location of the shrilly giggles. He is determined to mov e forward as he is getting more and more excited.

The green water grew deeper as he walks, he isn't exactly sure where the girls were but he continued on moving forward, flipping grasses out-of-the-way. The water was now at his hip level and his lower body is now  fully wet but still he continued on walking, the shrill giggles grew more and even more vivid in his ears, the splashing of waters and girly laughs soothed him very well. Tall green grasses covered the path. He walked into them, flipping the grasses. The giggles stopped. There stood five beautiful maidens wearing see-through white robes, they're wearing flower headbands atop their head with wet long black hair. Their eyes were fiery sea-green in colors.

"Hi," Walter waved his hand, waving hi. He is grinning wildly. Of all the beautiful dreams he had dreamt this was the most vivid, almost realistic and the by far the most beautiful and blissful one.

The maidens ogled at him with fiery eyes as they edged forward to form circle around him. 

"A boy!" A drowned pale-faced woman moved closer and touched his face, her voice was quivering and enchanting.

"Um, yeah. I'm Walter. What are your names, beautiful ladies?" Walter asked, backing away from the cold touch of the beautiful woman.

"Walter?" A prettier woman asked.

"I'm Edna. And she's Eda," Edna pointed at her sister who stood at his right holding his right hand, her cold hands are sending shivers to his spine.

"I'm Eidi." Eidi waved her hand.

"I'm Ethna." Ethna raised her right hand, she stood beside him on his left side. "And I'm Eida," Eida whispered behind his back caressing his ear, her sweet voice was so tranquilizing.

Walter took a glance at them and figured out that they all look almost identical.

"And we're Rusalki," Eda said, her sweet and lovely voice rang in his ears.

"Rusalki you say? The drowned beastly women from Slavonic Mythology?" Walter asked, his voice was hoarse, if he remembered correctly, these maidens would surely not let him leave this water alive. Now he's trying to wake himself up, begging for his mother to come and wake him.

"We're not that quite beastly," Ethna said and joined her sisters from caressing him.

Their beautiful straight hairs started to become disheveled, their faces started to contort into a wicked and unattractive one, they look much more drowned now, their icy cold touch made Walter's guts somersault in agitation.

"Help!" his mind seemed to scream.

"Ah, beautiful ladies, I had just happened to pass by, he-here, would you mind if I ask the right direction? I'm heading home. And I need to hurry, so no more flirting okay?" He tried to sound confident but there were still cracks in his voice. He restrained himself from growing angry, but it seemed fear had ruled his senses this time.

"Wouldn't you like to have some fun with us?" Edna bared her teeth. Their disheveled long black hairs are now turning bloody crimson.

"I gotta go guys, next time again," Walter spoke, his feet were feeble. He can't move his feet.

The Rusalki giggled, they didn't sound beautiful now, they have reached their hands on Walter's head and pushed his spiky blond hair down with a brute force.

"Ready sisters?" Eida said. The grins on their faces were growing even wider. They looked like performing a baptism in the midst of the green water, with 5 beastly maidens as the Baptists.

Their hands grew heavier, they were applying more force, plunging the cowering teen 'otaku' boy on the shallow water. Walter squirmed, he held his breath as he was being plunged into the green water. He saw Eida's face, her face was crooked, her eyes were flaring evilly. She grabbed his foot, adrenaline oozed in his veins as he began kicking at the same time restraining himself from drowning. He wishes his mom would come and wake him up any moment now, he can't hold his breath any longer. He closed his eyes to see the last glare of the evil Rusalka whose long crimson hair floating like disoriented tentacles underwater.

A dazzling golden light made Walter's eyes popped open. He breathed and suffocate realizing that he was still underwater. He hasn't felt the heavy hands of the Rusalki laying on his head anymore, just the grabbing hands of Eida and the grabbing strong strands of red hair tangling his legs, pulling him deeper into the depths of the water. He kicked her face, his right foot slipped from the slippery crooked face of the Rusalka, a trickle of maroon blood started to get mixed into the green waters, Eida gets her hold off of his right foot. He rose up and swam upwards as fast as he could but Eida swam behind him so fast in pursuit, he kicked and kicked until he realized that the water is now at his neck level. He breathed hard then he had suddenly gulped a mouthful of water as Eida pulled him back underwater with her long strands of hair. A streak of golden ray shot the water hitting the struggling Eida. He kicked her again and hit her face, Eida staggered and seem to be blinded by the golden streak of light that just hit her. Walter stood up and breathes heavily. There, on the rocky side of the green swamp stood the four Rusalki, their drowned pale faces looked like they are frightened. A spotlight of golden light locked them in a circle, they winced. Walter stared at them. He looked up to search for the source of the light at the dark clouds. The clouds then parted and a winged small creäture descended from the dark clouds, heavy dazzling golden lights spread everywhere. The Rusalki gritted their teeth, their faces were growing wither and wither, they are now crying in an alluringly tone of pity then they moaned to their deaths. The Rusalki have been vaporized into dark brown clouds of dust.

Walter saw a winged small girl with a short golden-yellow hair, she has wings as the fairies', she is wearing a white robe and she looked pretty and cute. In her neck hang a necklace that is made up of golden grainy cords and is chained together, a piece of a triangular golden glass (shard) is linked as a pendant and it is shining as it is spreading golden rays of lights.

She descended on the green waters and hovers on top of it, her bare feet touch the green water as it made small ripples, her golden eyes match her short golden hair.

She smiled.

"Elaine?" Walter asked.

"Elaine, who is she?" The fairy retorted, her small voice sounded like a little girl's.

"I'm Ariadne Mae. The Guardian of the Feesh Forest. 300 and a decade years old. Race: fairy." Ariadne Mae explained in a girly little voice, she almost sounded resoundingly like a robot.

Walter thought of the child-like looking fairy on one of his favorite anime named Elaine and thought that this girl in front of him looked somewhat (exactly) like Elaine.

"It's nothing,"  he shook his head. She looked at the green water and stared at her reflection, glanced at Walter's eyes and then back to her image in the water again.

"True. We do look-alike." Ariadne Mae affirmed.

"You just read my thoughts? My. M-my?" Walter blushed, his white cheeks grew crimson red. Ariadne Mae looked away.

"Iie," Ariadne Mae blurted the word cutely. "Excuse me, did you just say 'iie'? You mean no? Where have you gotten that word?" Walter asked in bewilderment. Maybe his dream is not too bad as it started.

"Sorry. Can't help myself. But yes, I read your thoughts. But not your whole memory. History. Nor desires. Just your current thoughts at this moment." Ariadne Mae explained.

"Whoa!" he thought.

"Why am I here?" Walter asked.

"You were dreaming. Remember?"

"Yes, I know but,"

"Don't worry. I was the one who summoned you."

"And pawned me to those Rusalki?" Walter said hoarsely. Anger started to boil in his guts.

"I did not mean you to meet those Rusalki. You're just a jerk. Aggressive. Too high of your self." Ariadne Mae berated cutely then she just smiled.

Walter moved his gaze away and looked up at the sky. Sun rays were spreading everywhere, lighting the grayish surrounding.

"You were lucky you haven't met the grim witch's hut." Ariadne Mae walked above the waters, ripples are forming after her tiny footsteps. She bent and pulled the icy cold hand of Walter. Warm sensation overflowed through his body. He floats above the waters. Stepping on top of the water made Walter amaze.

Ariadne Mae tightened her grip on Water's arm. She flapped her wings and they ascended up above the open sky. Sun rays ignited the fiery green forest. Walter opened his mouth and screamed, "this is damn awesome!"

"Don't be a cocky boy. We have a long way to go," Ariadne Mae smiled again, her red lips glistened.

Down below, the tall willow flashed in green. The trees that are surrounding it are seemed like they are hit by a rain of poison.

"Why is that forest looks oddly dead?" He asked curiously.

"See that tall tree?" Ariadne Mae pointed her small finger at the tallest willow. He nodded, "That tall tree requires a tremendous amount of power, that is the verge of the forest Feesh. The gate to the unenlightened. All living things with the lesser amount of mana or magical attributes are sucked by that tree.

"Why haven't I been sucked?" Walter said, smirking at the thought of him having magical attributes because he wasn't sucked up.

"You're way different. You do not only hold the blood of the writer. You are uniquely gifted?"

"A writer? Uniquely gifted?" A thousand of questions flooded his thought, his dream is now becoming like his any usual dreams should be.

"You'll know soonest,"she said. They're now at the top of the shaggy green forest, a huge way quietly very enormous tree is erected in their front.

"We're here," Ariadne Mae said. She seemed was happy to have returned to her home ground. The necklace on her neck glimmered.

"Why have you summoned me?" was  Walter's first question as soon as they stepped the enormous wide branch of the green enormous tree.

"I mentioned that you have the blood of a writer." She said, Walter just nodded.

"Writers write." She started.

"I haven't heard them write though, what do you think are they doing anyways?" Walter replied in sarcasm. Ariadne Mae just smiled.

"You're important. Either you'll save or destroy both our worlds."

"Are you serious? Am I dreaming? Of course, I am. This is so damn anime-like. So fictional," he grumbled

"Do I look like I'm kidding? Of course, you're dreaming, but these are all true. Very true. You may feel like this is just fictional. Bear in mind that fictions live. Tales exist. Possibilities occur." She rebutted.

Walter gulped some warm air. He admits she's right. But he needs concrete pieces of evidence.

"Morning awaits your world. I will wake you now. I'll talk to you some time." Ariadne Mae edged near him, removed her golden necklace, the triangular shard glimmered, and grabbed Walter's hand. Walter opened his hand and received the necklace. Ariadne Mae waved her hand, a white fog hit Walter's head. Then his dream vanished. He opened his eyes, he's on his huge bed, lying. Drool slipping from his mouth. He was startled, confused and dazed. He was relieved thinking that all that had happened were just a dream. There is something that lay cold in his hand. There laid the glimmering golden necklace with a triangular-shaped shard as a pendant. He rubbed his eyes, shocked.

Once upon a time, wars and desolation were etched on the land of the witches, wizards, and mages. Barnania was soaked with countless flooding of blood. The place was deemed with bad luck. 

As time passes by, bloodbaths grow even and even more rampant, wars and deaths couldn't be stopped. The leaders of the great lands have decided to agree on a truce and so, the writer was given birth, the first agreement of peace was made.

Henceforth, after a very long war for power, a new Barnania is born through the writer's writings. The writer had rewritten everything that has happened in the dark history, through his blood, the dark history has been covered with mystery, simply putting it to oblivion. But the problem has yet to come, the revisions he made have made a crack in time and made it impossible to make Barnania anew. A hard decision has been made, in order to bring peace, the writer erased everything that was written in the pasts, no more revisions made. And that decision was to remake Barnania, so the writer did, little did he know that the original dark world is still existing. A dark Barnania exists and it tells about a dark tale.

Ren was what you called an otaku, watching anime all day, playing video games, and reading manga and web novels.

"Huh what is this?" Ren muttered, in his screen while he was downloading his favorite anime show, a sudden pop up shot out.

So it really was a game, and oh wow this character create screen, has a lot of choices. Let's see what type of character should I make. Oh right should I make it look like Ragna from that fighting game I recently played. That guy look cool, ok let's see here...

Ren used the character customization screen the best he can, and was able to create a character that looked exactly like Ragna. He is a young adult with white spiky hair and heterochromia: his left eye being green and his right being red. His clothing consists of a hybrid of modern, futuristic and old features. He wears a vibrant red sleeved jacket with two long thin tails hanging from the back. Under it is a black shirt with three red belts and also several belts covering his right arm. He wears a pair of black gloves with a red shell on the backs of the hands. 'Yep this was the same look as the Ragna I played, the only difference is the right arm where the fake arm was suppose to be.

After creating his character, Ren clicked the create character button. A noticed popped out, "Have you finalized you character creation?" Ren clicked yes, and went to a stat allocation screen. 

Let's make this character near what I think Ragna's stats will be like. Strength:50 Dexterity:38 Agility:30 Endurance:50 Mana:40

"There we go finished." Upon clicking finish, a load screen came out. 

Overpowered system loading,.....

"Overpowered system? Is that the name of the game?" While Ren was thinking, a sudden white flash came from his computer, on seeing the light Ren started losing consciousness.

A gentle breeze brushed Ren's face, afterwards he felt the pitter patter of rain dripping on his face. 

What the hell, is my roof leaking? Ren slowly opened his eyes. Once he opened his eyes what he saw shocked him, his roof was gone, not just that he's room was gone. 

"WHAT THE HELL!?" Wait where the hell am I? What happened? 

All around him where just an endless ocean of trees, Ren was in a forest but he couldn't remember how he got here.

While Ren was confused and slightly frightened, he heard a robotic voice inside his head. 

'Ding' "Congratulations host for activating the overpowered system! From here on out, show the world what true overpowering force truly is." 

 "The system has acknowledged, Ren player name Ragna as a beginner, The system will now begin distributing Overpowered Beginner's pack." Just as the the robotic message rang out, a window pop up appeared before Ren.

What the hell is this? Okay.... I need to cool down, the last thing I remember was downloading a computer game... Don't tell me, like in those anime and light novels I read, I actually got transported to another world with a system!!! 

"OH YES!!!!" Wow finally something exciting actually happened! I can't believe I got transported to another world, and of all the cheats I could have, I get the system type cheat, and this system is actually literally claiming to be an overpowered system. How awesome! 

Ok then, let's double check my status... I see so I became Ragna the blo*dedge, my favorite character, in the recent fighting game I played. The skill Invincible barrier seems to be a passive given by the system, the Intermediate sword skill is also a passive, and I actually feel I can do the moves Ragna used in the game. 

The Experience points and level are things I already know of, but what is this Overpowered Points? Let's see if I can ask the system.

'Hey system can you tell me about what this Overpowered Points is suppose to be?'

"Answering the host's question, Overpowerd points are used to gain power ups." 

'What kind of power ups?'

"The Overpowered System provides power ups of every kind the host can think of. All the games, anime, and books the host has watched and read can be reference for abilities that can be power ups." 

'Really!? That's awesome, can you show me a list of the abilities that cost 100 Overpowered Points below.'

Another pop up window appeared.

Shadow Clone x1 (Nar*to tree) (70 points)

Beginner Magic (Ragnarok Tree) (100 points)

'That's it!? System can you show me how much it cost to get a sharingan from Nar*to or the Emperor's eye from Kur*ko'

Sharingan (Nar*to tree) (5,200,000 Points)

Emperor's eye (Kur*ko no Basket tree) (800,000 Points)

What's with that difference? Well I get it the Sharingan can copy skills and moves, while the Emperor's eye can see the subtle details of the body or like the anime said, predict the future. 

'So system how do I actually get Overpowered points?'

"To acquire Overpowered Points, host must show others that he's overpowered."

'That's simple enough to understand, so how do I get experience? Do I kill things or something like that?'

"Correct killing can give the host experience, but there are other ways to gain experience, but host's level is still too low to use the other ways."

'I see... I kinda get it now, so let's test my abilities.

After looking around the forest Ragna found a bunch of wolves, and rabbits. With the Intermediate sword skills (Bl*zblue skill tree), Ragna was able to easily kill them all. It was the first time he had killed a living thing, but for some reason it didn't really affect him. 

'Ding' "Congratulations host for leveling up. Current level 2"

After Leveling up Ragna felt his strength rising a little. Being a gaming addict, the sound of leveling up felt nice to Ragna's ear. 

"Ok I'll level up to 10, before trying to find a town."

A random otaku, brought to a different world, with one mission to become the most O.P of them all.
