Today was the first day of the activity for the children. Jinwoo's mother entrusted us to counsel the children for the activities that will be doing for three days. We're eight counselors and each counselor has 5 kids in a group that will guide for the rest of the activities so we have 40 participants in total.

"MinMin, do you want to vie with me?" Jungmin inquires. 

"So you're confident that you'll win against me?" I smirk at him knowing that he can't win against me. 

"You are just lucky Minsoo Jeon. I will win this time. I'll show you." He told as stuck his tongue at me.

"Okay, fine. I'll vie with you. What will I get if my team wins this whole activity?" I ask

"I'll do all the chores for the whole month!" I stroke my chin when reckoning if it's just a stunt or it's serious talk. 

"No, I'm not fooling you. So what do you say?" 

"Fine, but if you win. I will let you budget our foods and buy whatever you want in the whole month." He gave me a smile as he offered his hand for the handshake.

"Deal," He announced as I accept the shake hand.

My lips forming a smile while seeing the kids having fun even if the activity doesn't start yet. 

"Hello, kids! Are you ready for the activity?" Jinwoo's mother shouts in a lively tone. 

"Yes, we are!" As the kids cheer up. 

"That's great! I want to tell you that have some fun with all the activities that we prepared for the rest of the summer camp. The counselors will be guiding you for the activities. The prize of the champion will be surprised but I know you all love this prize so do your best and have fun!" 

"Please go to your respective groups so you all can have a nice meet up before the game begins. Okay, Enough with the speech and let's start the activity!" The kids cheer up and went to the respective groups. I met the kids before that was assigned to me so I'm very grateful that I'm the one who will guide them.

"Okay guys, I want you to introduce yourself even you all know each other. I want to know you more for the activity." I said as I sit with them. 

"Hello again Princess, I'm Pammy and I like to bicker my brother Daine." She stuck her tongue at her brother. 

"I'm Daine and I don't want to be with my sister's team since I want to beat Pammy." He said as he crossed his arms. 

"I'm sorry to hear that Daine but I'm not the one who assigned your team but we will compete even if you are with Pammy. Who wants to introduce next?" I said.

"I'm Eury and I like to win this game for the prize."

"I'm Cath and this is my twin Caithe. I really want to win this activity for the prize even I don't know what is the prize but at the same time, I want to enjoy the activity. Right, Caithe?" She asks her twin as she hugs her. 

I smile at the twins when they are like me and my twin. We are very close to each other, to the fact that we are inseparable but at the same time, we love to compete ever since we're a kid. We are very competitive which makes the other kids uncomfortable and they felt like we're controlling the game so no one competed with us except Jinwoo. 

"I'll help you to win the activity. Do you see them?" I said as I pointed my brother's team who talking about the strategy to beat my team. 

"That's my brother and we are having a deal and if we win this whole activity. I promise I will treat you all some treats. Do you all like that?" Their eyes sparks when hearing the word 'treats' 

"I like that but our parents don't want to get close to you." Eury pouts. I bite my lips when hearing the kids that their parents don't want to get close to me and I don't know their reason. I don't do anything that could harm the kids.

"Eury, I don't know the reason of your parents but I'll promise you that no one will get hurts when you are with me. Okay? So trust me for this activity and if your parents don't want me, then I'll just deliver the treats to you and your friends if we win this activity. Sounds great?" She nodded as she hugs me which makes my heart jumps. I'm really feeling solace when seeing them happy. 

"Thank you." I smile at her. 

"The indoor game which is cooking will begin at 10 minutes so please choose your participants." The staff announced to us. 

I smile when seeing the kids are very excited as the staff announced that the activities begin. 

"The game begins."

The Jungmin and I gathered around on the stage to have a practice for the play and my body was really tired from the activity.

"This activity was really drained my energy and I'm happy that day one is done," I said as I laid down on the stage. 

"You know what makes me completely drained is when your team has more win in the indoor games than my team." Jungmin scoffs knowing that my team wins 2 times in a row at the indoor games. I place my head on his lap as he strokes my hair. 

"Well, better luck next time. I guess." He pushed my head out of his lap when he heard me, laughing at him. I sat down as I wrap my arms around Jungmin's shoulder.

"Are they done helping for the next activity? We need to practice for the play." I asked but he shrugs off. 

After a minute, they all arrived for the practice. 

"Let's begin!" I exclaim as I stand up so we could start the rehearsal. 

"We will do the part when Taehyung saves Daewool to the wolves." We all nodded. 

We went downstairs to watch the part. 

"Taehyung sees the man lying in the middle of the woods who got injured with the wolves around him but when the wolves smelt the aura of Taehyung, they all run away, leaving the man alone." Jungmin narrated the scene. 

"Are you okay, young man?" 

"Taehyung asks the man who lying on the ground. He sighs as he lifts up the unconscious body and went to the mystic forest. Taehyung did an enchantment to clean all the wounds" Jungmin continues narrating the scene.

"And the small fairies flew to Taehyung's direction to warn him from the man who he just saved," Jungmin added.

"Taehyung, you can't save someone you don't know. Leave the body out of the mystic forest after cleaning his wounds." Minseok said

"No, Minseok. I can't leave his body behind when the wolves are around the forest." Taehyung said as he caressed Daewool's face. 

"He's a mere human Taehyung. You shouldn't just place the man's body inside the mystic forest." Taehyung sighs 

"I know—" Taehyung cuts off when Jinwoo's mother instructed the guys to help for dinner before continuing the rehearsal.

"Yes, mother!" Jinwoo told to his mother.

"Let's go Minsoo, we should get some dinner," Taehyung said as he offers his hand to hold mine but I refuse to go with them.

"Are you sure, you want to stay here?" I nodded.

 "Okay, I'll get some food for us," Taehyung said as they left me alone. 

I hummed while waiting for them to arrive but it takes more time to help the staff knowing that there are so many kids that needed to serve dinner. 

The times running but they aren't coming back for the practice. "Where are they?" I asked myself.

Before I went out of the hallway, my eyes landed on someone who walks in my direction. "Is that Caithe?" I asked myself and walked towards her, who is also walking towards me. When I finally went near to her, I can sense some dark aura emitting from her body which made me froze. 

"C...caithe?" I tried to speak but my body can't move an inch. I saw her smile at me as her eyes getting a pitch black. 

"W...what is h...happening?" I stuttered and tried to move but I can't. She took a step forward towards me, her smile never leaving her lips.  

"Do you think you can get away from us?" She said in a deep voice. 

"W...what?" She lifts her arms up as my body became tensed and my neck became stiffed. Suddenly, I couldn't breathe. 

"T...tae," I said, almost in a whisper, as I place my hands to my neck to stop the pain around it.

"MINSOO!" Taehyung yelled as a light coming from his finger when he touched Caithe's forehead.

When Caithe passed out,The pain around my neck faded, causing my body to fall on the ground. Luckily, Jungmin catches me in time.

My breathe became rigid as I felt the loud throbbing of my heart when I realized what just happened. 

"W...what just happened?" My eyes went to Caithe who is now sleeping.

As I look at these tips, I imagine things in my head. Like Advantages and disadvantages, Possible or impossible. 

I know I have to try my best to make him healthy and I will do it as much as I can do. I will do everything I have to do. Like as tips1, 4,6,7,8 and 9 are possible to do. 

It only involves me and Little bun so it's possible. As he don't go to the school and he rarely have talk to anybody. It was impossible to do 2 and 5

That's why I want him to go school and start to do things as normal kids do.He can make friends in school. He will eventually learn to be socialize. 

I'm afraid that things might go wrong in the future. His I.Q might be affected. He's intelligent but the source are lesser. He has to learn perfectly and right education. 
 
As for 3 and 10, I am not sure. Things between me and Kim hae Jin was little tricky and Kim hae Jin might not have time for this. 

Eventually I want him to go school. Schooling always has been a great phase of time where we learn to be a good friend, students and good human. 

I really wish if he rethink about going to school. I'm afraid that he might not be able to stand outside when time comes. People might say that he is only 5 years so no need to be hurry but I have to do it quickly. 

After 2 years no... 20 months later, We (Soojin and Kim hae Jin) Are going to divorce. I never planned to be with someone like him. He wasn't my priority and I don't see any reason to be with him. 

There was a past between us that cannot be tolerate or said freely. Things will be unwrap when time comes.

What does he think of her? A plaything? A toy?

She soojin was the heiress of Yong. Apple of yong's but he made her disheartened, sad and pathetic. She _she loved him more than her own life but he only betrayed her trust, love and care.

His betrayal was last shot she could take so she decided to leave him and his world.

When they slowly entered , they were shocked to see the big stadium awaiting them . The auditorium is monstrous in size with led light's placed perfectly over the edges .

There were doors all around the auditorium each leading to a different activity . 
The robots were all over the place , roaming and leading people to their respective activity . 

" Woah , I wonder why people even leave this place . "– Jordan says with his big shining eyes . 


"  Let's go , I don't wanna waste the precious hours just admiring . "– Charles says with the same amount of excitement . 

They both starts moving towards the first door they see without looking here and there . 


" Hey idiot's !! ,You're forgetting someone ."– Kelsey calls them from behind  . 

" What ?"– Charles asks suddenly looking back . 

Kelsey points her finger towards herself  thinking that they would understand what she's tryna say . 

" What are you saying ?"– Jordan asks . 


" Seriously are you guys that much of a idiot . "– She says in a bit if irritating tone . 


" Oh Kels , we haven't forgot you . Come on ! "– Charles says while coming back to her and taking her forward holding her hand . 

They  started walking towards the door again ( this time with Kelsey ) .

" Helllo there mates ."– A small flying robot says cheerfully suddenly coming in front of them , almost knocking Jordan backwards . 

" Hi "– They all replies to him together . 

" My name is P36 ,  Is this your first time here ?"– he  asks .

" Oh no no bro , we're regular don't worry . "– Jordan says while moving a bit forward . 

" Okay , another fresher kid . "– The robot says . 

" Oh no no , I think you didn't heard me properly . Let me tell you aga..."– Jordan says . 

" Shut up ! . Let him finish . "– Kelsey says shushing Jordan . 

" Okay okay , I'm quiet . "– Jordan says while lifting his both hands in air . 

" Okay so if you don't mind...– P36 contines– you all have to scan your bracelets , so that you can have the map of the area and get notified when any activity is free . "

They all scan's their bracelets and starts to moves on .


" That's it ?  "– Jordan turns back and asks the robot . 
But the robot turns back on his way without even replying . 

" Ouch , that hurts ! "– Jordan says putting a hand on his chest . 

" Don't worry , it's just their programming . "– Charles replies laughing . 

 " Okay so where should we go now . "– Charles says while printing a hologram map of the area . 

" What about ' The Animations' ? "– Jordan says while pointing toa point on the map . 

" That's closed right now . "– Kelsey replies  .

" What about ' The making of 20s ' ?  "– Jordan again suggests . 

" Nahhh that sounds boring . "– Kelsey again drops his idea . 

" Hey guys , what about this ? "– Charles says while putting his finger over another point  .

" The Dive "– Kelsey reads the name . 

" This sounds interesting!!!!!!" – Jordan says reading the name himself . 


" Let's go then . "– Charles says while checking it's direction through the map . 

Moving quickly for the activity and reaching there in no time  , thanks to their speaking map , They all enters the room ,  where a couple of other kids were already waiting for the activity to begin . And after standing there for some minutes  , the lights went off . 

Everybody was looking here and there for some clue on what to do. 

" Good morning kids !!!!!"– The voice of an adult came from every corner of the room . 
" How'll doing today ? "– The voice continues . 

" Well nothing much , its just a bit creepy in here . "– Jordan relplies to the voice . 

 " Don't worry , we're starting with the activity just....right....now....."– The voice says and suddenly green lights emerges from the floor . 

" Okay everybody stand in a straight line over the green line . "– The voice instructs  them . 

They all did as the voice asked them to do . 

  " Okay now ...." 
" Now what "– Jordan says slowly .

Suddenly  a bright light came striking into their eyes , making them close their eyes immediately .

" Ohh noo , I'm blind ,I'm blind . "– Jordan says thinking he's cracking a jock but instead everyone stares at him like he is mental and needs medical help .

" Sorry...."– He replies . 

Then the door starts opening from top to bottom making it look like a plane door .  There was white light after the door and it took a minute to properly open their eyes . 
But even after that , all they could see was blue and blue outside . 


" Hello everyone , this is your captain speaking . "– The voice starts once again . 

" Captain ?  , where are we ?  "–  Kelsey asks from the voice . 

" Good question .....so we are flying over the plains of the Spain region . And now I'll tell you when you all are going to jump off the plane . "

Everybody starts panicking a bit . 

" We're actually not flying right ? They didn't teleport us . It's just virtual right ? "–  Jordan says nervously . 
Charles was also panacking but he was trying his best to not to show it . 

" Okay now , kids on the count of three , start jumping ...1 , 2 , 3.....Go! Jump !"

Nobody wants to move but it felt that the thing they were standing on turned slightly making that surface a slope . 


" No no no ....please nooo...."– Jordan says while running towards the door and jumping off . 

" Alright it's just an illusion , I can do it , it's all gonna be alright....."– Charles mutters to himself and jumps off the plane . 

" Okay.....I've read about it , I can do it if all my calculations are correct . And I'm not going to do anything stupid .So my jumping position should be like a swan...here I come god...."– Kelsey says and jumps off the plane . 

At first it was completely white , then it slowly started turning to the actual sky colours ( Blue and clouds) . They were jumping from such a height that the land was impossible to see and not an ounce of it is visible . 

" Hey Jordan....." – Charles says while coming down to him . 

" Dude  , this  is crazy . "– Jordan replies . 


" I know right "–Charles says with a big smile onto his face . 

Kelsy also joins them and they holds hands together . 
They all perform some front flips and back rolls . It felt like time just stopped at the moment , the scene was soo beautiful . All you can see was clouds and clouds over your head , with a big bright sun shinning over their head's and small small fields under them . 

After some time , they were asked to press button on their bracelets and it turned into a hand parashuut . They all landed slowly to the ground and the illusion turned out and they were back standing in the plane room . 


" Dude that was amazing . "– Charles says happily . 

" You should've seen your face ....."– Jordan says pointing at him and laughing . 

" Hey Kelsey , do you still think this place for kids ? "–  Charles asks her . 


" Absolutely....but for our type of kids..."– She says shouting with happiness . 

They all makes their way out of that room and starts moving to the other activity . 

 




Charles is an ordinary boy living in 2128 and he is really looking forward in his future into becoming a disk gladiator .

Day 2 ended successfully with its corresponding activities while Day 3 began with a clear sky and gentle breeze.
The third day of the trip included early morning fishing and a visit to the lake house later in the evening. The students were all instructed the previous night about their fishing event. It's a team activity with two per team as per the roommate arrangement. Seth informed the kids to assemble early in the morning outside the building as usual.
After assembling, Seth did the headcount and checked for the attendance. Later, they all left together along with the guides. The guides have been extremely patient with Seth and the kids. So far, nothing serious has happened, and hence, the trip went smooth for all.
Everyone enjoyed and had fun with friends. It was refreshing.
Soon, they reached the fishing area. With kids grouped as a team, the guides along with the staff helped in distributing the fishing gears around. Next, the instructors taught the fundamental way of working with the fishing gear and the to do's and don'ts of the activity. When it ended, the kids are permitted to begin fishing.
All chose their desired spot and then took position after tying the worm to the hook. The sound of fish hooks hitting the water in the early morning felt distinctive. Because it is summer, the guides have informed that early morning and late evening will be high time for fishing, and so, Seth finalized it as day activity moving the lake house visit in the evening.
 The young teenagers actively threw the hook, trying to catch the fish. 
When the event was selected, the kids frowned, saying it is a dull activity done by older people, not suited for kids. To encourage them in participating, Seth announced that the fishes they catch would be grilled and served that night for dinner. Hearing it, the kids got thrilled and turned it into a game.
Now, at the location, the kids competed against each other, mostly the guys did while the girls only concurred. Some were scared to catch a fish, some were eager and while some were goofing around, like Lillian Grey.
Lillian Grey and her roommate Mindy are partners. As soon as they got the gear, Mindy helped in baiting the hook with a worm and then gave to Lillian.
Patience ran out within five minutes Lillian returned the gear to Mindy and told to continue while she sneaked out. 
"I'm done. If I stay another minute in here, I'll go mad. Mindy, you can play it," Lillian responded and then fled the spot.
She didn't leave the place but shifted to another spot and got hold a person secretly from behind. 
"Gisellee-"Lillian's called.
Since yesterday, Lillian's way of calling Giselle changed, she stretched the last letter to make it sound like a distinctive nickname only for Giselle.
Startled by the entrance, Giselle, who got partnered with Anna, saw Lillian Grey clinging onto her shoulders.
"Well, just when I think we're alone and having a great time with ourselves," Anna remarked with the sudden entrance.
"What?"
"Am I not allowed to intrude?" Lillian cried.
"Yes, why are you here with us in the first place?" Anna scolded.
"Did you catch any fish, Lillian?" Giselle asked eagerly.
Only then, Lillian left her shoulders and relocated next to Giselle.
"Nah, I hate it," Lillian replied, showing her disinterest.
"I don't like fishing."
Lillian declared proudly.
"How do you know if didn't try?" Giselle questioned.
"I did, for like five minutes and I hated it so much, I left Mindy to continue. She's having fun, see,"
Lillian informed and pointed at Mindy's location. The three took a look and saw the poor girl struggling all alone.
Anna's nerves ticked off and she smacked Lillian on her head.
"How can you leave your partner alone?" Anna railed against her friend.
"Fine, fine, I'll go help her," Lillian retracted quickly and departed.
Anna and Giselle saw her going in another direction away from Mindy. When Anna yelled, Lillian informed that she is going to take a small detour and then go to help her. Lillian replied and winked at Giselle as she left. Seeing Anna furious, Giselle comforted her.
"Anna! Calm down," Giselle eased her. 
Anna was the one holding onto the gear in that team, and so, she couldn't move much to kick Lillian's ass. However, she groaned, knowing that nothing can be done, with a girl like her.
The two returned to catch a fish.
"She's like that always, you know."
Anna spoke suddenly, evoking her memories. 
"Even when our families go out together, she doesn't try fishing. Only Edwin does it," Anna shared.
Giselle listened to it in a trance, "Edwin?" she puzzled.
"Oh, Edwin Grey, Lilly's father," Anna answered.
Until now, Giselle knew nothing about Lillian Grey except admiring her from afar. Learning about Lillian's father secretly made Giselle happier as if she solved a mystery. 
'Lillian's mother?' – Giselle thought.
Noticing Anna, Giselle wanted to learn more about Lillian Grey. She used the opportunity.
"What about Lillian's mother?" Giselle asked.
Anna, who was concentrating on catching the fish, heard Giselle and turned to face her.
"Lilly's mother died when she was young."
Giselle's heart dropped when she heard it. She froze, her eyes growing in shock.
"It's okay you didn't know," Anna explained, observing Giselle's reaction.
"I'm sorry," she confessed.
"Hey! It's alright, Giselle. You didn't know it, right!" 
Anna relaxed on the fishing rod and helped Giselle in calming her as she appeared devastated.
"Gees, what you two even talk when you're together?" Anna mumbled.
Giselle shook her head. 
"I know, I know, you sick people go to the libraries, I get it."
"Alright, let's catch a fish now, okay?" Anna appealed.
Giselle agreed.
Those two returned to fishing.

Get Back to You is very special because it is my first novel and a bold choice, I would say. The once short story showed a lot of potentials to become a perfect novel. The character had a depth to them and an unheard voice, for which I wanted to bring justice by exploring and writing. Just like how we would enjoy a typical romance story between two opposite sexes, I wanted to tell a sweet love story of two beautiful women. Through this novel, I wish to improve people's viewing of LGBT relationships and hope that we show respect without judging.

Avery can feel her heart race as she continued the conversation. She knew making deals with a bunch of people would not do her any good but there were just some things she couldn’t control on her own. If she eliminated Ji, everything would go as planned. 

She and Carson would be happy. She suddenly paused by her own thought. 

“Okay. I want you to end up with Carson. That’s all I ask.”

She frowned by the request. “Alex, you know I don’t---“ 

“I am risking a lot of things with your request too. My company could go down because of what you wanted.” 
Avery gulped. “Are you sure this is what you wanted?” Alexander laughed from the other line, “Seeing you happy is what I want. I’ll give an update within the month.” 

Before she could say anything else, the line was cut off. She took a deep breath and turned to Carson. How could she settle? 

That afternoon, Avery was almost done with her work when Carson walked up to her. “You mentioned that charity that would let me paint, remember?”

Avery looked at him with confusion. He held his neck as he thought of a good excuse to ask her out without actually asking her for a date. “Why?

Her tone was different from usual and Carson immediately noticed this. On the other hand, her heart was beating fast and she just wanted to leave the room. 

“Well, we needed to show interaction with people. For the company” 

Her heart became calm when she heard his explanation. She lightly smiled, “oh for the press. I think that’s a good idea. The orphanage would love that.” 

His head tilted, “orphanage?”

Avery smiled as she watched Carson looked surprised about their location. Maybe he hadn’t been to any orphanage before. The visit was a surprise as well so Avery didn’t expect that the caretakers would prepare anything. 

But Carson was right as there was press almost immediately. One of the caretakers saw the commotion and decided to take a closer look.

“Avery and oh Carson! I didn’t know you two know each other.” 

Avery turned to Carson who laughed. “I didn’t know you were talking about this orphanage. I went here once.” Her eyes widened and recalled the last time she went here when the kids mentioned a certain Carson.
The caretaker smiled, “The kids would be excited to see both of you.” 

As expected, Carson placed his hand on her waist as they walked inside. His touch was gentle and it made Avery at peace despite the overcrowding of people. He moved her closer to him and she could smell his perfume. 

When they reached the entrance, the kids were all looking at them as if they were royalties. Avery waved at the kids. When they were inside, the kids rushed to their side. 

“I told you they were a match!” One of the kids said to her friend while the other just nodded. Carson looked at them with confusion. Avery then took the floor to ignore the kids’ comments.

“We are actually here to do a special activity for you!” 

The kids’ eyes widen as they were amazed at what was in store for them. The caretaker then led Carson and Avery to the activity room where the kids followed. 

“What are your plans?” The caretaker asked the couple. Avery turned to Carson then back to the caretaker. “We’re going to paint.”

In just a few minutes, the kids witnessed how the caretaker fixed the activity room with the help of Carson and Avery. The press continued to take photos from the window but the couple wasn’t actually thinking about the media right now. 

Each kid had his or her own canvas and some paint. Carson had the biggest and he was in the middle of the room. Avery carried one of the girls to her lap and offered her help. Carson looked around and smiled as if he was a professor and he was meeting his little students.

“Hi, everyone! So today, we will paint something that can make you happy. Think of one item or person that brought you happiness whenever you were sad.” He then looked at Avery who was smiling at him. 

The kids then started getting their brushes and doing their work. Carson, on the other hand, placed his canvas in front of Avery. She didn’t mind him as she was busy with the girl she was helping. He then got his brush and started working on his masterpiece.

Avery would steal glances to check up on him and she knew she had to admit whatever it was Alexander and Jane were saying. She looked at him and smiled while he painted. His gaze at the canvas was different as compared when he was working at the office. 

His sleeves were tucked in to widen his movements and to refrain the paint from getting into his clothes. He was gentle as he used the brush and he looked exactly like a prince. Avery smiled at the sight of Carson. 

“You like him” The little girl said as she colored the flower on the canvas with red. Avery stopped looking at Carson then turned back to her.

“No”

The little girl chuckled, “Yes. My mom looks at my dad the same way as you look at him. I think he likes you too.” 
Avery laughed at the sudden statement. “He does. He’s drawing you. You’re the one who brings him happiness.” 

She tilted her head after hearing the comment of the little girl. Carson then cleared his throat, getting the attention of everyone in the room. 

“I’m done. Can I show you mine now?”
 
The kids clapped in excitement as Carson unveiled his masterpiece. It was a photo of Avery smiling as she helped the little girl. 

“My happiness” he said in a gentle tone. 

At that moment, Avery was sure. She was in-love with her new target. 


After what happened to her parents, Avery swore she will never fall in-love. What she does is target old rich men to support her lifestyle until she meets Carson, a son of a billionaire. 

"Hush, someone might hear you!"
Aila lightly pushed Marcus away from her, but he grabbed her by her hips again and kissed her forehead before he completely let her go.
"iiiiiiyyyy brother and sister you look good together."
The kids teased them, and then they dispersed in an instant. Aila blushed with the thought that even kids ships them, it's just sad that nothing is really clear between them other than the mutual craving for each other.
"See even the kids agree, it's just you who would not accept it."
Marcus winked at Aila, which made her heart flutter even more;
"If only this clueless guy knew just how much space he already occupies inside my heart and how it grows bigger every day."
Aila let out a deep sigh.
"You two; enough of your PDA, get inside and eat your breakfast."
Lucy scolded Marcus and Aila, who was neither really affected, nor embarrassed; they went inside the mess hall with confidence as if they were not scolded earlier. All eyes on them as they were eating because Marcus would cut up portions of his food and gave the best part for Aila; it made the women around them jealous of how perfect Marcus is and how much he takes care of her.
Of course, Beth was not just jealous, she was furious. While Marcus and Aila were eating, they were whispering words at each other that made their meal feel a little more exclusive than it really is.
"Babe, isn't the chef here the chef in Café Isadora?"
Marcus whispered at Aila when he saw the chef coming out of the kitchen. Aila nodded as she does not intend to hide such details from Marcus.
"Do you mean the renovations and all these accommodations… Is it why you wanted to call your mom?"
"Hmm, yes and no… I wanted to call her for security reasons, but all these, she planned it on her own, I am also not sure who amongst my staff prepared it for us; but most likely it is butler Emil."
Marcus nodded, he knows Aila has a lot of security staff, he has seen it with his own eyes, he has long accepted that his wealth is nothing compared to Aila's.
"Yeah, I saw him yesterday, is he staying here as well?"
Marcus was still talking when he suddenly touched the back of his neck, like the last time his head hurt. Aila noticed it right away, and her heart started to worry for Marcus.
"Are you okay?"
He nodded and smiled at Aila,
"Stiff neck, I don't move a lot when I sleep, that's why I always get this."
Marcus tried to explain it to Aila. He bent his head from side to side to stretch his neck muscles. Aila started to massage the back of his neck. They did not mind everyone else in the mess hall, it was as if they had a world of their own.
"Ahem, if everyone is done eating, go to your partners and start with your assigned activities."
Lucy spoke with a loud voice that startled Marcus and Aila, and then they noticed that all eyes are on them. Aila straight away retracted her hands away from Marcus. Tony stood up and went to her side, offered to help her stand up. Aila willingly obliged as she smiled at Tony.
She touched Marcus's shoulders and whispered into his ears.
"Take care of your raging hormones; Beth is a top-level sorceress"
Marcus cackled at Aila's warning. Before Aila could go far, he grabbed her waist to draw her body closer to his, and then with a smile on his face, he also whispered in her ear.
"Then also take care of yourself, try your best not to show your alluring side because that guy beside you is a sly fox."
Aila giggled, which made the face of Beth further scrunch up with envy. Aila messed up Marcus' hair before she left with Tony. Marcus also asked Beth to go earlier for their activity; Beth was so happy that she felt Marcus can't wait to be with her. The truth is Marcus wanted to finish their task earlier so he can be with Aila right after.
Beth held Marcus's arms tightly as they walked, Marcus did not even ask her to give him his personal space. A sight that Aila hated;
"This jerk is obviously enjoying that clingy sorceress' embrace. I've guessed correctly, his raging hormones cannot be trusted. Tsss…"
If only her stare could kill, Marcus has been murdered by now. Aila decided to take a different route with Tony because she can't stand the possessive witch. Tony was such a gentleman with Aila; he was also great with kids and the elderly. To say the least, Aila was impressed with him.
"You have a way with the kids; they listen to you right away."
Aila praised Tony; he smiled at her, grateful for the appreciation.
"Hahaha….Perhaps they think we're at the same age that's why"
"Wow, you're funny too, at least you know how to make fun of yourself."
Aila was thoroughly impressed with Tony, not to mention how he toned down his perfume ever since that incident where Aila had a headache because of his scent.
"Am I the one being assessed right now? Aren't we supposed to check on the families here?"
Tony chuckled at Aila as he blushed because of her kind words for him.
"I just can't help but notice that side of your personality, hahaha don't be too serious."
Aila wanted to lighten up the mood as she wonders how that arrogant jerk is spending his time with Beth now.
Tony noticed that community guides joining them were significantly more as compared with other students. Another thing he also noticed is that Aila seems to be comfortable with the guides around, whereas he was kind of feeling awkward with the eyes watching his every move.
"You know what's weird?"
Tony asked Aila, who was playing with the kids, she responds with a question instantly.
"What's weird?"
"I feel like these guides are not guiding us towards the community rather guarding you against me."
"hahaha, you have such a playful imagination Tony… you were right earlier you are childlike."
Aila tried to divert Tony's attention; they walked around the community and saw that the basic necessities are provided for them. Food security for the community is also addressed for there are food silos provided free to the farmers and fisherfolks. This is pretty much a nice community overall; Aila was satisfied and felt proud of seeing the newly built library for the kids here.
Aila and Tony decided to head back to the social hall where they stay. On their way back, Aila noticed her butler who was talking with the town chief. She asked Tony to go ahead inside the hall; she wanted to convey the things she observed in the community directly to her butler so that he can take care of it with the town chief.
Aila stood at the side of the building waiting for butler Emil. He was then informed by the guards that the princess was waiting for her at the side of the building.
"Yes princess, what can I do for you?"
"Butler Emil, I went around the community, I noticed that their clinic here is a bit run down, and can we add a community doctor and other medical people here? Give them more incentives for compensation."
"Yes princess, I will relay this information with the town chief."
"Thank you. By the way, how do we get out of here faster? The travel here is quite grueling, what if it is an emergency?"
"We can request an airlift, Princess."
"Then can we also provide some speedboat ambulance?"
Butler Emil quickly noted all that Aila suggested; he was inspired that the young princess slowly immerses herself with the greatest job in the world by serving the people. She is truly the next hope of the future generation, the one that will bring back the interest of the people to the monarchy and the trust of the whole kingdom.
On the other second floor of the building, Beth and her friends saw Aila speaking with the old executive. They took pictures of the two; Beth intends to show the photos to Marcus to show him just how low Aila can go for money.
Lucy saw the girls near the window and looked down too.
"He is the same man she was talking with yesterday, but I don't think he is the financier."
She declared with confidence.
"Why do you think so Ms. Lucy?"
Beth was curious about how she got the scenario wrong. Lucy smirked before she went back to her bed.
"Observe, wait for them to finish talking, the old guy would bow in front of her."
A few seconds later, the girls were shocked when they saw the old man indeed bowed before her.
"I have a way to expose the truth."
Lucy was smiling as she was imagining how the home wrecker Aila could handle her scheme.
They all went down to the mess hall to start discussing the morning activity. Different valid points were raised; Aila took a mental note of every suggestion.
Lucy then asked the whole group to clear out the center area and for them to form a circle.
"As a part of our community immersion activity, we are supposed to enrich our communication as a group and as individuals. In connection to that; we shall play a game!"
The group screamed in glee when they heard the word "game", they were excited to play a game that was designed to put Aila in shame.
Aila was seated between Tony and Marcus. Aila was wearing a tapered short; she did not know that their activity would require them to sit on the floor. She hesitated on how to sit properly until Marcus took off his jacket and covered Aila's legs.
Lucy declared the name of the game; something Aila dreaded before;
"We will play, Truth or Dare; and I will be the game master."
Lucy placed an empty bottle in the middle of the circle. Deep inside Aila's gut feeling is telling her that the girls are up to something.
"How could this game be an official activity?"
She sighed at the thought, Lucy did not waste much time as she immediately turned the bottle.
Everyone was nervous with anticipation.
Then it stopped and pointed at Aila.
"What the fudge!"


"Who's that girl? The one walking fast with her head down, " Yhuan asked his friend.

"She is a transfer student bro, She really is pretty, but she seems quite rude" 

Resting bitch face... That's how people usually describe faces like mine, the type of face which gives people an impression like you've done something bad or is thinking of something offensive when you're not... unless you smile.

My name is Aila Rodriguez; high school transfer student, hmm... This is the 5th school I've transferred to since I was in 3rd grade. I had to move around because of my parents' secret; for the security of my family.

I'm so used to moving around that now I gave up on making friends. What is it for, when we will be parting ways sooner or later.

The first day of camp ended well in the good Professor's opinion as he watched the children turn in for the night. They were sleeping in the tents they had set up themselves, learning the basics may have been very boring but in the long run, it would help them should they decide to become trainers in the future. He rubbed Charizard's neck as he also decided to turn in for the night after realizing he was the only one left.

The second day of the camp saw the children waking up to the chrips and calls from the Pokemon around them. Zoey swears the Dodrio could replace the alarm clock in his room as he doesn't wake till the fourth ring at least. Ritchie giggles sleepily at his friend before going out to wash up, he greeted the others who had woken up just like he and Zoey had. Ash and Gary had just returned from the bath house that was prepared for the boys separately from the girls. 

Ash, "Good morning Ritchie! Clean up quickly we'll be doing a group pick today."

Ritchie woke up at that, "Group pick? What activity?"

Gary  shrugged, "Not sure! We are to meet up for breakfast first which will be in twenty minutes."

Ritchie hurried to clean up and finish his morning routine before going over to the eating area. One of the volunteers, Red introduced himself before explaining the rules to them. The other volunteer Blue would make a round holding a bowl with papers on it, they were to take only one and see what was written in the paper. The kids who got A would be one group and the kids who got B would be another group. After breakfast was over all of the kids took part in the activity curious about what group they would be in. 

Once they were in their respective groups Red explained, "Alright kids, the reason we did this was simple, we'll be teaching you how to make food on alternative days. Suppose today group A will make dinner then tomorrow it'll be group B's turn. Do not worry we will show you the basics first as well as safety you need to practice while handling open fire on the first day. It's from the second and third day we'll show you how to cook."

Gary, "I got group A."

Misty, "Same."

Zoey, "Me too!"

Ash, "Group B."

Duplica, "Yep."

Ritchie, "B."

Leaf and Green, "We are both in Group B."

Misty sighed, "Looks like I'm the only girl here."

Gary, "Oi! We aren't that bad."

Misty, "Of course not... Just saying I don't know the other girls."

Misty looked at the other girls in the group, and they looked too girlie for her taste and reminded her of her sisters. Duplica gave her a sympathetic smile at that knowing full well what it was like to be different from the other girls. 

Leaf, "Well it's only for dinner time right? From morning till afternoon we get to spend time together looking for Pokemon."

Green gave Misty a side hug, "My sister's right, it's just for one part of the day, not the whole day."

Misty smiled, "You are right. Thanks girls!"

Blue got everyone's attention, "Alright everyone! Now that you all know which group you are part of, remember it is group A's turn today, so group A kids do not be late. Group B your turn will be tomorrow. Now please stay close to your teachers and the assistants when you go out to watch Pokemon. Also do not under any circumstance wander off on your own. You will be grounded for the rest of the camp time if you do. Okay!"

Blue got a chorus of "Okay"s from all the kids before they cleaned up and left to see and observe the Pokemon in the wild. Blue watched them go with a smile remembering his own summer camp that he had with Red when he was younger. He walked back to Red who was talking with one of the assistants about the Pokemon they would introduce today for group B to interact with during the 'Care and Cleaning of Pokemon' activity. 

Blue, "Still have not decided what Pokemon you want to introduce?"

Red turned, "Blue! Ah, actually we were thinking of introducing the Kanto starters today and tomorrow for the groups to spend time with."

Blue, "To let them get a heads up on what they are dealing with and how to handle their care, cleaning, feeding and training. That's not a bad idea."

Robert smiled, "That and if they do become trainers and pass the trainers test, they know at least the basics of what they are getting into."

Blue nodded, "Cool! I'm going to help the cooks, smell ya later."

Red snorted, "Sure!"

Robert shook his head, "You kids have interesting catchphrases nowadays."

Red shrugged before he bend down to the level of the three starters and started to explain to them the plan for the day. The young Pokemon were very excited, they had been told by their parent Pokemon and breeders that they would one day be picked by someone special. They wondered if one of the kids would be that someone for them, they understood they were still too young and it was still too early for them but still, curiosity is curiosity. 

Red rubbed their heads as he smiled at their excited chatter, personally he loved all the three starters and if he could he would have a team with all three of them in it, he had no doubt they would be powerful together. Meanwhile Misty, Leaf, Green and Duplica were by the lake adjacent to the lab cooing over the water types. Miss Gina was watching over them to make sure they didn't slip into the water accidentally. Some of the trainers sponsored by the Professor had Gyarados that were swimming around in the deeper part of the lake and it wouldn't do well to anger them. Ash, Gary, Ritchie and Zoey were by the berry fields watching the grass types care for the plants. A teacher from Viridian, a Mr Cole was explaining how grass type Pokemon instinctively knew to care about plants and help them grow healthy. 

The group returned to the camp by late after for a late lunch before breaking up into two groups. One group went with one of the Chefs while the second group stayed and learned about the starter Pokemon of the Kanto region. The kids were delighted when they realized they would be interacting with a Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle. Ash noticed that Leaf had stars in their eyes over Bulbasaur. Ash giggled as he and Ritchie cooed over Charmender and Squirtle. Duplica and Green squealed over the cute three Pokemon not having a favorite yet. They took turns in caring and cleaning them one by one under the watchful eyes of the assistants. 

Among the sixteen kids helping care for them, the young starters were clean and shiny in no time. They spent the day playing with the three Pokemon till dark, when Group B joined them holding food they helped prepare. As they had lunch together Gary, Misty and Zoey told the others how the chef had them learn, how to properly clean the raw ingredients first, before showing them how to safely cut the ingredients up for cooking. The chef had also explained how to handle open fire safely and they had watched as the chef did the main cooking. Ash, Ritchie, Leaf, Green and Duplica also shared what they did getting a pout from Misty for missing out playing with Squirtle. The second day at the camp soon came to an end, and the kids turned in for the night excited for the next day.

Being reborn was not part of the plan but neither was being killed in an accident. At least I have a second chance and a really sweet mom and an angel for a cousin and aunt now. It's not so bad I guess the only down side I was a woman now I'm a boy but I can get used to it. It helps I don't remember everything I suppose. 
Ah why are the names so familiar? Wait.... Pokemon are real now? Well at least it's not SnK or Death Note right? Hmmm Ah! Looks like the Pokemon world is a mix of anime, game and manga. Oh my! Holy macaroni they are twice as dangerous than what the anime, game or manga showed. I have been tricked!

Note: This is a work of leisure and completely self indulgent and a fanfic. I got inspiration from reading many reincarnation stories on fanfiction net. I just had to write one as well. As for the pairings, I'll think about it as the story progresses. Plus I write it during free time so I don't exactly have a schedule for updates. 

I'm writing this for my own amusement. And it is slow paced, like I can only put out one chapter per week.

"Rest assured that your donations will be put into good use. As our proposal stated, we plan to purchase only the state-of-the-art equipment for the newly built wing for the Department of Pediatrics. These will provide faster and easier diagnosis and treatment, essential during the early critical stage of the child's illness.
At the same time, some of the raised money would also be used to fund the newly built Research Department. It will be concentrating on finding new treatment methods for existing and newly discovered diseases that plague our children."
Her sister, George finally ended her opening remarks after providing all the vital information about the scope of the project they proposed for the development of the Pediatric Wing of the hospital.
George then introduced her since she would be acting as their ambassadress for the event. Her presence would provide help in the promotion of the hospital and the fundraising activity. Based on Jessica, it would also be favorable to her career.
"Without further ado, I present to you my sister, Ms. Sabrina Sanders," George announced to the media and the crowd gathered around the lobby of the hospital where the press conference was being held.
Sabrina walked directly to the podium with a wide smile on her face. She was truly excited about today's activity, which reflected on her expression.
"Before anything else, allow me to thank Dr. Emerson Smith, Dr. Georgina Sanders, Dr. Edward Mason, and the rest of the staff for allowing me to be a part of such a prestigious event." She began her speech, silencing the whispers of the press and the crowd as they started to listen to her.
"I know some of you have not forgotten what happened last year, but being away from the industry made me realized that there was more to life than just making movies and entertaining people." She paused, taking a silence to breathe as she gathered her courage to continue.
Being a star did not mean that she was invincible. She also had to fight through her nerves before she could face the camera. Especially today, when there was so much at stake. Her credibility was tarnished because of the scandal, so she was not sure if her presence in this activity would help. She doubted her capacity as a role model to this youth.
"I'm not saying that I will stop my career in showbiz. I just think that it should not be the center of my existence. There are so many ways for us to be able to contribute to our community, not just by entertaining them inside a box, but by being present in other people's lives.
It can be through a simple donation or by showing that we care enough to be here. To provide moral support to those who are in need." She paused for a few seconds, looking at the faces of the crowd.
"To our generous benefactors, I rather you pull out your wallets or better yet, get your checkbooks ready. That's the best you can do for these kids who badly needed your help." The crowd roared in laughter with that one as she pointed to the wealthy men and women standing at the corner of the platform.
With a few more anecdotes about her small experience with kids, the crowd was ready to empty their wallets for her cause. A reporter on the center started clapping after she had thank again the mass of people gathered at the lobby. Then, a chain of applause and cheers echoed in the walls of the building.
She was immediately escorted inside the building into the office of Dr. Smith, the chief of the Surgical Department before they would proceed to the new Pediatric Wing where the next program of activities would be held.
"Where are we going first?" She asked Edward who had never left her side since she arrived earlier.
Jessica opted to stay at the lobby to answer more questions regarding her plans for the future in the entertainment industry. The reporters were not allowed to accompany them inside the hospital. Only the PR of the hospital could cover the entire event.
"First, we are going to the Pediatric Department. We had set up a little meet and greet for the kids who wished to see you." Edward explained to her as they continued to walk along the long hallway.
"Ok. That's wonderful." She expressed her excitement as they were ushered to the office to
"Ms. Sanders, thank you for donating a huge amount of money and your time for the benefit of the kids. Your presence alone will give them a lot of joy and hope." Dr. Smith stated as they waited for the signal for them to continue with their schedule.
Not a moment longer, they were notified that the kids were already waiting for them.
"Welcome to our department." Dr. Brown, the head of the Pediatric Department greeted her with a friendly smile and a firm handshake. "We are pleased that you took the time to visit the kids. They are all thrilled to hear that you are coming today."
She could see that as she scanned the kids scattered around the room. She heard them giggled and whispered her name as she entered the spacious room.
"It's my pleasure to be here. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this event." She looked around and saw a handful of young kids who remained shyly admiring her from afar. A few were scattered in the room, sitting on the sofa, chairs, and their wheelchairs.
It was a big common area with a sort of living room, a sofa at the center, a television, and several small tables and chairs on the sides. There was also a mini playground where the small kids could play, and a mini library where they could opt to read.
"Kids, let's greet our friend, Ms. Sabrina with a warm welcome." The nurse in-charge in the room announced to everyone.
The kids in unison shouted in various levels their welcome greeting. A girl, probably in her teens, walked to her, dragging with her a stand that was holding her IV drip, which was attached to her arm. She smiled at her shyly and handed her a rose.
"I'm Phoebe. Thank you for visiting us. You are very beautiful. I'll always be your number one fan." She uttered in her melodic voice.
"I think you are very beautiful too." She held on to her hands and hugged the young lady before letting her moved to the side. "Thanks." She said as she blinked the tears away that were threatening to fall from her eyes.
She could not cry in front of these kids, regardless of how depressing their situations were. They were just kids. They were supposed to have many more years to look forward to. Unfortunately, they were confined on this floor, battling with their different kind of illnesses.
Another girl in a wheelchair this time approached her with another flower. "I'm Lhea." She wiggled her fingers for her to come closer, then whispered in her low raspy voice. "You just made my wish come true."
"And, what is that?" She asked as she knelt to her level, curious about the dream of this young girl.
"To see you, silly. You are my favorite actress. I wanted to become one too when I am strong enough." She boldly exclaimed to her and everyone present in the room. She could see the effort that she made just to tell her that.
"You can't be an actress. You're bald." A little boy quickly objected to the little girl's statement.
"But, they said that after my chemotherapy sessions, my hair will grow back again. I can be an actress by then." Lhea whined softly, contradicting the little boy.
The boy introduced himself as Tommy. "This is for you." Handing her another rose.
"Tommy, I think Lhea can be anyone she wanted to be. Even you, as long as that you work hard to achieve it." She touched Tommy's cheek and gave him a small hug, same as Lhea. "You can always wear a wig if you're strong enough." She assured Lhea.
"I told you I can be an actress," Lhea said sweetly to Tommy, who finally agreed with her.
A few more kids did the same thing, with a wide smile on their lips. With hope etched on their faces, she felt once again humbled to stand in their presence.
Edward who was standing at her side, slowly held her hand, giving her strength to not break down and cry. The reality of this scenario to her was an eye awakening experience that made her realize the insignificance of her problems compared to them.
Instead of her, giving joy and strength to these brave little souls fighting for a chance to live longer, she felt it went the other way around. In this case, it was them who filled her with overwhelming joy and courage to face the world again.

A famous star. That was Sabrina Sanders. One of the most sought out female actresses in the film industry. She had everything a woman would want, with her beauty, elegance, fame, money, and success. Her life to her fans and the outside world would seem almost perfect. 

Well, there was one thing she felt was missing, someone to love her. Although she had a long line of suitors, she found it hard to commit with any of them, who just wanted to tag along with her success, used her for their agendas.

Finally, she did fall for one, but it only ended up badly. Mayor Bradley De Luca was everything she wanted in a man. Besides, he truly loved her, but he had one flaw. Despite that, she dived into the relationship with her eyes open, only to end up regretting it and losing in the end.

Now, she was hiding from the scandal that she had created. Afraid that this would be the end of her career and ruined her life. Seeking out some solitude and peace, she flew to a secluded place, away from the prying eyes of her fans and the press. Here, she met the man who would change her life.

Rafael Walker, a very attractive, serious, and enigmatic man, swept her off her feet. He was different from the other men she knew, even from Brad. She knew she was falling hard for him, and he was too. However, there was a hitch in their relationship. It was full of secrets. 

Would love be enough to make it work between Rafael and her?

Matthew had always separated his family and his work, so it was surprising when he requested Bailey's presence on a work-related trip. "Why am I joining you on a work trip?" Bailey asked, slightly uncomfortable. "Well, I thought that this patient was a good candidate for you to help. This patient and his family can't really afford the procedure he needs. I mean they can pay for most of the procedure, they are a couple thousand dollars short. I told the family about your Foundation. "Oh…I mean if they needed the money I could've sent it with you." "You remember, I wanted you to be careful with who you gave your heart and energy to. I want you to know, be comfortable, and sure about the people you give the money to. This means you have to hear from the patient to make the final financial decision." "Thanks." Bailey enjoyed the car ride. "How did you get involved with this patient?" Bailey asked, hoping for some insight before the meeting. "A couple of years ago, Dr. Ryan called me for a consult.  A few days later, I was traveling to Virginia for the consultation and to meet the patient. I've been on this patient's case ever since. The patient's name is Aaron. He's twelve years old. He suffers from the genetic disease, Osteogenesis Imperfecta. It's also known as the Brittle Bone Disease: He has Type IV." The car fell silent.
            Dr. Ryan greeted them upon their arrival. The two doctors discussed the case and went to their patient's room. Bailey followed the men. "Hey, Aaron," Dr. Nelson announced. "Hello, Dr. Nelson. Welcome back!" Aaron was cheerful. Bailey had remained outside in the hallway. While in the hallway, Bailey overheard a discussion about doing an operation on the right femur bone. Suddenly, Bailey heard her father say, "I want you to meet someone. She's actually my daughter. Bailey, you can come in." Bailey came in as the men abandoned her. Aaron and Bailey exchanged, "Hi." "What are you doing here?" "I'm here to hang out and get to know you." "Really?!" Aaron was pleasantly surprised. "Yes! So, what do you want to do?" "Play Monopoly!" Aaron directed her to a bookshelf that had the game. "Thank you. I don't have anyone to play with. It's lonely and boring." "Where are your parents?" "At work, they work a lot. They even work most weekends. I only really see them in the mornings before work and evenings. During the nights, I'm usually alone." As they played Monopoly, they continued to small talk. The game lasted a couple hours. "When is your surgery?" "It's scheduled to be in three days, but I don't know if I'm going to have it." "What?! Your parents don't want you to have the surgery?" "No, my parents want me to have the surgery. They want me healthy. It's me, who doesn't want the surgery. My health is more important to them than going into debt. It bothers me that we'll go into debt. Staying healthy is temporary, I'll break another bone and require another surgery. All I do is suck my parents dry of money. All the hospital bills. I'm the reason that my parents work almost 24/7." Aaron was being awfully hard on himself. "If someone was giving away money; what would you say to that person? Why would you want the money?" Aaron took a moment to ponder before responding. "My parents deserve to feel less weight, pressure, and anything else that makes their life hard. They deserve a break and having time to themselves." Aaron was sentimental. Bailey gave a smile. "That's exactly want I needed to hear. Your parents are a little short in paying the hospital bill, so I want to pay for what they can't." "What?! Are you being serious?" Aaron was dumbfounded. "Yes. There's a catch, I only give money to friends." "Thanks, friend!"
            Bailey met with her father, Dr. Ryan, and Aaron's parents in a conference room. "I want to help pay for the remaining balance that you two can't pay for this surgery." "We can't take your money, but thank you," Aaron's father replied. "It's not my money; it's no one's money. It's meant to be given to the people, who need it." Bailey insisted. "Alright, thank you," Aaron's mother answered, appreciative. The parents had put aside their pride. "We'll pay ever cent back," the father insisted. "There's no need and if you try I will not accept it. If you feel an obligation to repay your gift, then donate to my Foundation. Your money will help others in similar situations." Bailey was very adamant. "We will! Thank you! Thank you!" they echoed. Both were showing happiness and relief. Bailey handed over a check. Bailey shook the father's hand and gave the mother a hug. "I have something for you," Dr. Ryan spoke. He pulled out a check and gave it to Bailey. "What you are doing is incredibly selfless and humane. I want to contribute to your Foundation." "$5000, really?" Bailey was stumped. Dr. Ryan gladly nodded. "Thank you!"
            It was late afternoon of Aaron's surgery day. Bailey came to visit a recovering Aaron. "Hey, how are you feeling?" "Better, I'm not in as much pain." Aaron seemed slightly disappointed. Bailey gave him a look. "Bailey, I'm like a glass figurine. I break and then get fixed. The fix is only temporary. I'll break again. You know how frustrating it is?! Even when I'm fixed, I'm still stuck sitting on the shelf. I can't do what I want because if I do I'll break a bone. I want to be active; I want to be able to play soccer and run. I can't because of this stupid disease keeps me from living my life. No one wants to be limited or told they can't do something. I dream sometimes that I can do whatever I want." Aaron was fired up from frustration and disappointment. "It sucks, I mean I only have my left arm that limits me." "It so sucks!" "What do you want to do today?" "Here," Aaron gave Bailey a DS. "We can play MarioCart and Mario Party," Aaron had let go of his bitterness. "Great." "You know your limitations shouldn't define, who you are. I mean take your father for example, he's an inspiration. He's one of the country's best surgeon and he doesn't even have to be a standing man to be the best. He gives people like me a real example of how you can have limitations yet have what you want." "He's definitely an inspiration to me, too." Bailey was a proud daughter.
            Bailey came for one last visit. This visit, she brought popcorn and candy. The previous day, they made plans for a movie day as a farewell. Aaron caught Bailey gazing at him during the movie. "Ask your question," Aaron said, light-heartedly. "What do you see your future being?" "Hopefully married." "Why do you put emphasis on hopefully?" "What person wants broken me as a husband?" "If they only see you as broken, then they're not good enough. You have a heart that could melt anyone's heart." "What person wants to be a caregiver? Whoever signs that marriage license is signing up to be my caregiver, too." "You should have more confidence in yourself." "This life doesn't give you confidence." "You might see yourself as a burden, but whoever marries you won't see you as a burden. My mother has no limitations and she loves my dad and accepts his limitations." Aaron finally smiled. "What about kids?" "No, at least not biological ones. "Why not?" "My disease is genetic, I'm not going to be responsible for bringing a child, who will only suffer, into this world. It's unfair to give life to a child so it can suffer. I believe that if you know that you are only giving life to a child that will suffer, you should have a kid. There's always the option of adopting. There're too many children without families anyway." Bailey was astonished with the amount of thought and insight Aaron had in his answer.
            The day after Bailey returned home, Abel came for a visit. "Welcome back," Abel greeted. "Thanks, it's nice to be home. How have you been?" "It's been alright. I've been spending time with my brother. We've been talking a lot. He's told me doesn't like how he disrupts my life and apologized for it. I tell him he isn't disrupting my life that much. He told me how frustrating it is to be ill and stuck in a hospital bed. You get a lot of insight if you listen instead of asking questions. He says if I weren't around, the journey would be a lot more difficult. "I agree." "Okay, I'm sort of a computer geek." Abel was slightly embarrassed to admit it. "I think your Foundation needs a website." "Okay." Abel produced his laptop. "What are you doing for your next event?" Abel was typing away. "Well, I thought about a car wash, but also I was thinking about a Talent Show. I was also thinking a Movie Night with classics. Or a community tie dye activity." "You should do all of those activities; the question is when to do each of them." After a little bit over an hour, Abel had a website up. "I need a name for your Foundation and website." Bailey sat in silence pondering. "It's My Heart & Soul Foundation." Bailey had an excited grin. "That's an amazing name. I broke your website into sections: Events, Donations, Patients, Contact, Patient's Family, and Community." Bailey nodded in response. After showing off the website, Abel leaned back in his seat satisfied. "Abel," he immediately looked at Bailey. "I want you to be my partner in running this Foundation." "Really, I'm honored. I accept!" "Welcome aboard Foundation co-head. This means your ideas and opinions matter."
            Abel wanted Bailey to meet his younger brother, so they made a trip to the hospital the next day. "Daniel, this is Bailey," he introduced. "So, you're the girl my brother talks about…a lot." Daniel was being a little bit cheeky. Bailey could feel her cheeks warm up as she looked at Abel. Abel returned a nervous smile. "I heard your father works her." "He does. He's the one rolling through the hospital's halls." Bailey acted out a wheelchair motion. "He's that man! He's so cool! He's really nice, too. Did you know in his spare time, he visits patients? He makes sure we aren't alone and bored 24/7." "I did know. My father loves being a surgeon because he's saving lives, but my father understands that saving a life goes beyond the surgery. He doesn't want any of you to fall into a depression. He's been in your position." "You get so bored in here, especially when your bedridden." Immediately, Bailey and Abel gave each other a look because both had an epiphany. "Would you enjoy doing tie dye?" Bailey asked, overjoyed. Yes! I would tie die a hospital gown. Right now, these gowns are killing life." "I'll be right back," Bailey shouted. Bailey knew most of the kids on the floor. She went around and asked if they would do tie dye. All replied, "Yes." Afterwards, she returned to Daniel's room. "So, we're going to do tie dye in the next day or so. I got clearance." "Awesome!" Daniel shouted. Bailey departed. "Abel, she's giving you life again. You lost your zest for life when I got sick. It's a good thing." Abel gave his brother a hug. "I'll see you later."
            Matthew was once again generous, he offered to pay for the tie dye supply. Matthew, Bailey, and Abel brought everything up to the Children's Hospital. In the play area, they laid plastic table covers on the tables. Then they made the dye. Nurses aided the patients into the play area. Each kid brought a hospital gown with them. "Welcome everyone!" Bailey announced. "You can start with the hospital gowns. We do have T-shirts to dye tie afterwards." Abel followed up. "Let's get started!" the co-heads shouted. Both grabbed T-shirts and dunked them into water buckets. Water was splashing everywhere from the dozens of buckets. No one cared because the kids were having the time of their lives. "We'll take the bagged gowns and T-shirts home to dry them. Then we'll return them tomorrow." Abel explained. Before they cleaned up, a nurse took a group photo with everyone displaying their stained hands.
            As promised, Abel and Bailey returned with everyone's gowns and T-shirts. They wore their tie-dyed T-shirts to the hospital. Once the kids retrieved their gowns, they put them on. Everyone gathered together in their tie dye for another picture. Bailey posted the pictures on their website and social media accounts. Soon after, Bailey received a call from Aaron. "Hello, Bailey!" "Hello," Bailey was happy to hear from him. "Bailey, I saw the photo you posted. I was wondering can you do that activity with us?" "Of course, I'll come for a visit really soon." "Abel are you up for a trip to Virginia?" "Sure, why?" "The guy I helped, saw the photos. His name is Aaron. Aaron wants to do the tie dye activity. I think, he informed his fellow hospital residents about the activity, too." "I'm all for doing the tie dye activity again." "Great! We're taking a trip to Virginia."
            Upon their arrival, Dr. Ryan greeted them. "Welcome back, Bailey." "It's great to be back. This is Abel, he is my partner." "It's nice to meet you." Abel and Dr. Ryan shook hands. Dr. Ryan and nurses aided in setting up the tie dye in the main playroom. "Your photo has gone viral. Our local news station wants to come in and film this day and interview you." Bailey reacted with a disgusted look. Bailey had never felt comfortable with public speaking and being in the spotlight. "I'll be by your side, Bailey. I can do most of the talking if you want." Abel gave a comforting smile. Bailey was having an internal anxiety attack. "We need the publicity for the Foundation." "Fine." Bailey finally answered, still not thrilled. The news station arrived and filmed the kids doing tie dye. The crew sometimes asked kids what they thought about the activity. It was only at the end, Bailey and Abel were interviewed. They did an introduction and by the end Bailey's face was flushed and her heart was racing. "So, how did this tie dye activity come about?" the reporter asked. Abel waited a few seconds in case Bailey spoke. "She stayed a statue. "Bailey asked my brother if he would enjoy doing tie dye and he replied 'yes.' Her father works at the hospital my brother is staying at. So, she knows the kids there. She asked the other kids if they wanted to do the tie dye and they said 'yes.' That's how we got an entire Children Hospital to do tie dye." Abel was comfortable and confident. "Who came up with tie dying the hospital gowns?" "It was his brother," Bailey nervously, yet eager to answer. She immediately drew back and gave a nervous smile. Abel was still confidently smiling. "How did you two meet?" Abel looked at Bailey to see if he was answering. "I met Bailey at a fundraiser for the Foundation." "You have a Foundation?" "Yes, we have a Foundation." "Is this activity provided through the Foundation? What's the Foundation's name? What is your Foundation's mission?" "This activity is offered through the Foundation. It's the It's My Heart & Soul Foundation. We've only just started it. As of right now, the Foundation raises money to help pay for surgeries that patients need but can't afford. But, it's not only about money. The Foundation wants to offer a friendship and emotional support to not only the patients, but also to the families." Bailey looked at Abel for a judgment. He gave her an encouraging, proud look. "All these kids want is to get better, have fun, and be someone's friend. By doing activities, like tie dye, all these kids get what they want. Fun is the best medicine." Abel added. "So, you are looking for donors. How can we donate to your cause?" "We appreciate donations, but we don't want donor to be only donors. Also, we want to give our donors something in return for donating. Their donation should be worth something. That's why we do fundraisers." Bailey had calmed down and was feeling comfortable. "Are you going to do a fundraiser in Virginia? After this, Virginians will want to donate." "We don't know yet." Abel answered the question before signing off.
            Abel and Bailey loaded the gowns into Dr. Ryan's car. They would be finishing the gowns at his house and spending the night. "I'm immensely proud of you. You did very well with the interview. You conquered a fear." Abel complimented impressed. "Thank you," Bailey was blushing. They were sitting at the dining room table. "I see in your eyes that you have more visions for this Foundation than you explained in the interview." Abel had not stopped smiling. You're right, I do have a bunch of visions for the Foundation. We've only just begun. We have time. At the right time, I will execute my visions." Bailey felt proud. "I'm kind of jealous of all your amazing visions. I haven't had any." "Visions will come, and they'll be incredible." Both were giddy. Dr. Ryan came in with dinner. "I watched your interview on TV. When are you doing a fundraiser with this town? And what are you doing?" The two teenagers gave each other a look. "I don't mind hosting you two for a few more days to do a fundraiser." "I was thinking about doing a Classic Movie Night. But, I don't know where to do it," Bailey answered. "I have a gigantic, empty barn that you can turn into a movie theater." "Okay." "You have a lot of work to do." "We'll set it up tonight, while we wait for the tie dye to finish." Abel answered wanting to be part of the conversation.
            Bailey had accidently taken an afternoon nap that she didn't wake from. Bailey woke up the next morning. "Why didn't you wake me to help finish the tie dye and work on the fundraiser? Sorry…I fell asleep!" Bailey was groggy. "I knew I could do the work. You deserved some sleep." Abel replied, sweetly. "Okay, so the tie dye is ready to be taken to the children. We have to the food for the Movie Night. I made a flyer!" Abel held up a cool flyer. "I updated the Event section of the website. Since, I did most of the work, you have to pass out the flyers." Abel was half joking. "That's fair." Abel was teasing her and giving her a hard time. "No, I won't make you pass all the flyers out alone. We do have to clean up the barn and stage the theater." "Okay. Let's do this!" They went to the hospital to deliver the tie dye. They recreated the picture they took with Daniel and his mates with the children. They said their farewells. Bailey and Abel spent the next thirty-six hours preparing for the fundraiser.
            They started showing movies in the early evening and continued until midnight. Every movie was full, and the barn was packed. Before and after a movie, Bailey and Abel had a meet-and-greet. As the night went on more teenagers appeared. Some youngsters stayed behind to help clean up. "We raised three thousand dollars!" Dr. Ryan announced. "That's awesome," the volunteers shouted. Bailey and Abel stayed chill and smiled. "We're making progress," Abel whispered to Bailey. "Yes, we are," Bailey replied, pleased. "Thank you for helping clean up. We just wanted you to have fun. It's our job to clean," Bailey explained. "We don't mind helping," the volunteers replied.

Bailey's best friend, Maggie,  succumbed to her Cystic Fibrosis, after a long battle.  Maggie unexpectedly gifts Bailey money. Bailey doesn't know what to do with this gift.  Maggie requests that she uses the money to make a difference. Bailey accepts this challenge. She creates a foundation, which helps individuals, who are battling a variety of diseases/conditions. She is truly making a difference, but the strong individuals she meets are making an impact on her.
