I have been on the road for days without seeing any other towns or villages had times really become so troubled all I can think about is wither I will survive my journeys if I don't I know my mother and sister would be safe nobody knows how much time they have if they will even life to see tomorrow times are not as they once where the paradise everyone once knew was gone I was not yet born but will restore Dragonia to its former glory even if it killed me I am Dragon blood and it's our secret duty to protect Dragonia at all costs if the city falls so does its people is that truly what I want? Alas I cannot answer that question yet since this is only the beginning of many more journeys to come.


She closed and bound her journal once again putting into her satchel Amelia kept the journal as a reminder of her journeys ahead or if something happened to her on her travels people have become cruel and cold they even started killing each other or attempted to take the life of Gunther the king of Dragonia but had failed and the royal guards where ordered by the king to bring the men to justices those who had been caught where hanged in the city square. Amelia knew where she had to  she needed to travel to Storm Haven a small farming village is the far South of Dragonia there had been reports of dragon sittings had she truly found the dragons was her destiny over as soon as it had started?  Was she able to return home after?

Not even Amelia knew what  awaited her but she was determined to find out  even it meant giving up her life to safe others. Amelia watched as the sun peeked out from behind the clouds and knew the time was now that she had leave before the rains returned she gathered her belonging and paid the Tavern keeper greatly for her services and once more got on her dear Duchess and set off to Storm Haven it was a four day ride but she needed answer about the dragons and herself.

“Nobody knows how much time they have left or when they are going to die I am Amelia Dragon heart the last of the Silverstone Dragon riders for the past 100 years millions of riders gathered in the Capital of our great city Dragonia to celebrate all the births of each baby dragons, the quests the riders conquered and battles the soldiers had won but this all changed on fateful night when the dragons just vanished without a trace most say they left Dragonia while others say they went back to Dark lands where they could once more fly freely but in order for you to understand what on that cold and stormy night I have to take you back to the very beginging

The night in Uufs plains were quiet. It's 01.12 A.M right now and only 5 peoples were awake that stands as a guards including me. I set my phones to ring if there are any heat sources detected more than 75 meters from it.
I connect my phone to my earphones so the only one who can hear the phone ringing are myself. So far, it's already ringing for 3 times. And so far it's probably just a small animals that are wandering around the tall grass.
There is a forest edges on the south just 300 meters from our caravans. Mr.Bird said that Uufs dwells deep insides of it. On our north a small rivers are flowings, protecting one of our sides.
It's a good thing that we camps just besides the rivers. I dont needs to worry too much about the other side because the rivers are at least a meters deeps. There will be more than enough times to knows if some monsters trying to cross it.
"Auuuuuu...auuuu....Auuuu...." Suddenly a dog howl can be heard from afar. Those howls are followed by one after another.
"It's Uufs Calling Sounds....!!!" Said Zirko who are also stands on a guards this night to alert everyones.
Everyone who fast asleeps hurriedly wakes up as they hears Zirko shouting. The guards grabbing their spears and shields that are just laying besides them when they sleeps. And the womans who are unarmed along with the childs and Mr.Bird Started to take covers by leans their back on the caravans in front of the firecamps.
"There are no heat sources detected yet in a 100 meters from here Mr.Jeff. Should i stands and guards the womans and children?" Ivanna giving me the informations and ask for her course of actions.
"Yeah, you do that and concentrates on your phones. It's darn dark to see anything outside our camps." I said and giving my order to her.
The night in this worlds are as dark as the 'free lands' in our worlds or maybe darker. Especially right now when the moons doesnt show up. Our light sources are just the campfires and the torches. There are the flashlight from the phones but i dont want to use it yet.
I cant see more than 20 meters beyond the grasslands on this plains. Right now my modern humans senses are at the mercy of our technologies. Ivanna will told me if something is coming and my phone will aslo ringing.
The Uufs howls are still can be heards one after anothers from afar. The shields wall has been made and everyones are ready to counter the threats that are yet to arrives.
I stands just behinds Mr.Tora and  Sa'am, ready to wields my billhook anytimes. The atmosphere are very intense as no one knows what lurk in the darkness in front of them. Fortunately both of us knows that there is nothing within 100 meters radius.
10 minutes has passed since we've been standing and prepared for the attack. The Uufs howls already stopped a while ago. I ask Ivanna if she see something on her phone but her answers are negative.
She then tells that there are nothing in at least a 100 steps from them to Mr.Bird and all the guards. Mr.Bird then said to cease the shields wall but make another 5 guards stays awakes for the night. Mr.Bird are also choose to stays awake all the night.
The morning comes and the Uufs attack that we expected didn't happens. The caravans continues the journeys after all of us had our breakfast. Following the roads up northwest toward the rumoured ransacked Sumbuja villages.
It was past afternoons, 3 hours of walks after our usual afternoons breaks when we can see the ransacked Sumbuja villages from afar. The situations are peaceful and the grasslands that surrounding it still looks beautiful.
You wouldn't notices that the villages in the middle are destroyed if not because how quiet it is in the afternoons. Mr.Bird stopping the caravans just before the gates of the villages.
"Let's prays so their souls will guides us safely through this journeys." Said Mr.Bird. After that the whole caravans recites some kinds of prayers that are leads by Mr.Bird before we continues our journeys to cross the now dead villages.
We all take a steps insides the villages gates to make our ways toward Kahlen town. A peaceful but eerie feelings can be felt from all of us. There are many dead bodies laying on the grounds that we can see as we walks.
"There is 2 heat sources on our left just on the intersections in 60 meters Mr.Jeff. It's moving pretty slowly away from us." Suddenly Ivanna warn me about what she see on her phone.
I said to Mr.Bird that there are something that are moving away slowly from us just on our front left. He then ask me and the other 5 guards to check it. I and the other guards then jogs to the places that Ivanna mentions.
"Grrrr.....Aarff...Grrrr...." A sudden threatening bark greets us as we arrive at the said intersections. 
"A strays Uufs....!!!" Said Mr.Tora that are one of the 5 guards.
'So Uufs is a huge husky....? No, It's a wolves. I never seen one in my life.' I thought to myself. Those wolves are standing near one of the villagers corpses. probably try to snatch and bring it back to the forest.
All wolves species are already extinct since 2030 so i mistake it as husky for a seconds. I dont know about the size of the wolf on our worlds but the wolfs in this worlds are pretty huge. It stands around 120 cm tall on four legs.
Any carnivores that size can easily kills a humans. 
The Uufs that we encounters giving a threatening pose to us. Showing their sharps fangs while growling in hope to scare us. But they slowly retreats and runs aways after seeing us forming spearwalls and approach them.
"Oh, you never knows how glad i am as there are only 2 of them. Those strays are probably a weakling that get exiled from their groups." Said Mr.Tora.
"You're right, if there is more we'll be in troubles." I responded to his statement calmly. but deep insides i am pretty worried because he mentions that they're strays that are weaks.
'If they're weaks, then how is the strongs versions looks like.' I thought to myself a little bit worried.
After those small encounters with those strayed Uufs, we continues our journeys leaving the dead villages. I was hoping that those Uufs encounters will be the only threats that we meets in this journeys. But my hopes only last that long.
just about 30 minutes walks after we get out from the Sumbuja villages, Ivanna warned me about a lot of red dot that she detected.
"Stop The Caravans Right Now Mr.Jeff...!!!" Ivanna suddenly warns me. I then ask Mr.Bird and all of us to stop marching. 
We all stopped by my commands right nows. Less than 100 meters from us, we all can see that the roads are heading insides a small forest. I then ask Ivanna again for more details.
There is a lot, 100 meters in fronts. They're not moving, but it's certainly there." She said.
"How much...?" I ask.
"42 in totals, 30 on the right sides and 12 on the left." She answered.
A 47 heat sources detected but none of them are moving. Anyone that has an IQ above 100 will definitely knows that it's an ambush. There is no other possibilities but humans, or something as intelligent as humans that can do such a thing.
I informs Mr.Bird about what awaits in front of us. Hearing that, he ordered all the guards to be ready after he ask and confirms that there is nothing that will ambush from behind to me.
"So what should we do right now Mr.Jeff...?" He ask me as i am the one that will leads the troops in battle.
"We forms a shields walls and waits for them to comes out. There are no benefits for us to go insides their grounds." I said to him. 
"Zirko, how long your arrows can reach...?" I called Zirko that are about to join the ranks. He is the most well equipped guards and also the only one who carry a bow and arrows.
"I can easily hits anything that move as far as 80 steps from us. Since we're on a higher grounds right now." Said Zirko confidently.
"Alright then, lend your spears and shields to our Sobran villages brothers that only carrying a long sticks." I said to him as i see those 4 peoples from Sobran villages already stands just in the back of the shield walls. 
Everyones are surprisingly eager to fight and has no hestitations to stands in the frontlines.
"What should i do right now Mr.Jeff...?" Ivanna comes out from the caravans to ask me about her jobs.
"You're good at shooting right..? unfortunately we might needs to use some of our precious bullets." I said to her.
"I am but, Umm.....i never aimed it at humans." She said with doubful tones.
"That's why you start right now, If you're good then aim to incapitates not to kills." i said to give her a courages.
"Your targets are the one with ranged weapons. We use our lethal weapons since it can reach pretty far. Set your Uzi to manuals 1 bullet each and no burst. 1 bullets for 1 incapitates targets, Kills if you needs." I give her instructions.
"You're done when there are no range weapons on enemy sides, that also mean you dont need to shots if there are no archers. That's all, i guess." I ends my instructions.
"Understood." She said short. I can see a relieved expressions coming from her face.
"Oh and lend your polearms to one of those guys that are using a longstick. So they will feels safer." I adds.
Right now the roads that we're standing are 3 meters higher than the forest that are 100 meters in front. We're now just stands and waits until those bandits decides to come out from their forest.
Sooner or later i believes that they will decides to come out, as it will be more difficults if the days are ended. They will also think that they will have the adventages since it will be 42 vs 23 for them.

Description: A master of the water and like the teenager she resembles is joyous with energy.  Often Eramu journeys into the woodlands of several planets where there is peace and tranquility. She journeys even more into woodlands that are restless and have an unbalance about them.  Seeing harmony among the wildlife makes her happy.  When the forest hurts she does her best to restore it to the natural state it once was in.  Very few times she has drawn her weapon in such settings.  Only the creatures who have no control and are too far gone are the ones she is unable to save.  Even after delivering the final killing blow, she mourns their death for doing such things.

The weapon she uses is one that is meant for killing but one that is also used to create a soothing mood among life as a way to try and persuade any with savage intent to stop such horrid actions. Daedalus was hit by the attack and got launched away towards a building ten metres away. However before the grand Duke could continue his attack Danel arrived. Danel saw the state that Daedalus was in and became enraged saying "You dare hurt my son!"

He then sprinted at the grand Duke. The grand Duke was shocked and realised that he had made a terrible mistake. Before the grand Duke could even open his mouth let alone explain what happened, he was punched in the arm. The arm was completely shattered and was just having there limply. The grand Duke saw this and began screaming in pain and sorrow as he knew that this injury could never be healed.

Danel had by destroying the Dukes future released most of his anger so he walked over to Daedalus and said "Son are you alright?"

Daedalus was awoken by his father's voice and he realised that he had been knocked unconscious. Trying to move Daedalus winced in pain and said "Too painful, I can't move!"

Danel became even more angry but calmed down quickly. Danel picked up Daedalus carefully before saying to the Duke "Follow me my hands are full so I cannot carry you to the court."

A few hours later Daedalus had been healed, partially due to someone helping him but mainly due to his body refining technique. This had allowed him to reach the bone refinement stage so he was actually quite pleased, though still a bit angry.

Daedalus then got dressed and walked to his father's study. Walking in Daedalus could see his father talking with an older looking elf. Hearing him walk in they both looked over at him and smiled, the older elf saying "Get over here kid say hello to your grandfather!"

Daedalus then walked over and said "Hello grandfather, what took you so long to come and say hello?"

"You are just like your father and I was busy with kingly duties!"

Daedalus spent the rest of the day talking with the old man about each others adventures and journeys, Daedalus was particularly happy about hearing about his grandfather's journeys and adventures.

The next day Daedalus his father and his grandfather all went to the court. All of them were sitting at the highest points of the room. While Lucid and his father were kneeling on the ground with pale faces as they had likely figured out that their lives were basically over for attacking royalty.

The king Daedalus' grandfather said "Let the hearing begin I would like to hear your recounting of the incident, honesty is of course suggested."

Sadly for the Duke his son immediately spoke up saying "I was attacked by him and so in order to defend myself I called my father who the man immediately and arrogantly tried to attack my father which resulted in him being punched into a store not far away, he is lucky my father was holding back otherwise I think he would likely be dead!"

The Duke who had heard this became increasingly pale before outright fainting due to his son's obvious lies. The court was shocked for a moment before ruling that Lucid would be executed for treason or attacking royalty and lying to the court, however the Duke would be crippled and turned into a servant.

I thought I would just go ahead and make a quick note, on average each chapter is at least 500 words long. This is because I don't have that long everyday to write a chapter, it's why I try to make each chapter seem like just another part of the previous one.

I'm slowing down on chapters lately, once every Sunday, because I am doing a bit of a fanfictiony thing in the latest chapters. I asked if I should make it a side book thing but my readers wanted it here so yeah.

I am doing a bit of MHA and other books I have enjoyed lately like Spiderman and marvel stuff.

As I got home I went upstairs and Into my mum's room, the map in My moms face
"Explain," I said dryly
"Honey where did you get that from," Mom said turning pale
"It doesn't matter and like I said EXPLAIN," I said still holding the map

"Sorry please explain," I said in a more polite tone but not giving up on the my question

A map it led somewhere more importantly it held something your dad and I had been searching for, for over 2 years, Answers to Mayor Williams . I was feeling dizzy every now and the so I told your dad and we went to a hospital. I was confirmed 2 weeks pregnant of Jake, I had mixed emotions, happy and sad, happy that i was pregnant sad that i wasn't going on the journey with your dad, but your dad said it was for the baby. And so he went alone taking a copy of the map and leaving me with one because he called everyday telling me where he was so that i can track his movements on a certain day he didn't call i thought it was because he was tired so i let it be but the next day he didn't call i was worried, the next nothing after a month i heard he was dead i was devastated. i didn't eat for weeks. so i signed the map took it to the museum and said i was an explorer with artifact  and sold the map $1.2 million moved on and had you when your brother was five," Mom said a blank expression her face then she quietly sobbed
"Mom, am sorry," I said wiping her tears
" It was my fault i should've gone with him," She said in between sobs
"No mom he cared about you and b-baby that why he did what he did," I said and I immediately got a thought "Mum, who told you about dad's d-death?" 
"The Swissville Police Squad, Why?" she said not sobbing again
"Maybe the faked his death, maybe they have him captured in a safe house, maybe dad's not dead because you did say that you were finding answers to Swissvile's mayor, Mum he's being tortured. bring the map," i looked at the map turning it and found something "T...T...S Yes TTS  Terry's Toy Store, Mum do you know the abandoned toy store in the bad part of town, there keeping him there am 100% sure," I said jumping enthusiastically 
"Honey i have only one thing to say, are you ready for an Anderson Adventure,"  she smiled that motherly but dangerous smile.

'Linguistic What? What's with regency lingo? Please tell me you don't read another of your mom's stupid novels', I pleaded.

'Ugh, forget it. I can't even sue you for harassment'

Monday I bustled into the office lift in my white blouse and pencil skirt which is a tad bit tight around my curves, ok too tight for my curves. I should have done the laundry on Saturday, but in all the excitement that happened I forgot about it. Serves me right to push my chores.

'You are not abducted by aliens?', I turned to come face to face with rose. Was it only 2 weeks back we were discussing office gossip? It looks like another lifetime for me.

I rolled my eyes, ' stop exaggerating. I'm just on the top floor'

'Makes no difference. At least with aliens, I get to hear juicy details'

'Yuck, I don't want to go there with a ten foot pole.'

'Anyway, how was your weekend?'

I want to say you know, getting a criminal arrested,being courted by a 9 year old , just regular stuff. Instead I said, 'nothing interesting. Just watched tv.'

'Girl, no offence but you need to get a life. There are a lot of men who would do anything for a glimpse of those babies. Want to go club with me Friday night?' she said pointing towards my tight blouse.

'Thanks for your advice. But right now, I'm trying to survive the hurricane called Raphael Sinclair. So rain check?' 

The lift pinged before she can reply me which is fine by me, because I don't want to explain the disaster called my social life.

When I signed in my computer there is already a message from Raphael 

You are 3 minutes late Ms. Anderson. I hate to cut from your salary , but I shall if this continues.( meaning he loves to cut)

Now what's this? What ruffled his feathers this early? Day- by-day he is becoming more strange.

While I'm musing on this the intercom buzz interrupted me

'Ms. Anderson please come to my office'

I entered his office sceptical of his mood.

'I want you to do the presentation on the Budget plan of next Seasons product', he barrelled straight to the point.

'Ok...When is the presentation?', I asked doubt niggling in the back of my mind.

He sighed as if I'm pestering him with my questions , 'Afternoon Ms. Anderson'

'Umm which afternoon Mr. Sinclair?', I asked doubt solidifying.

'Don't be stupid if you can help it Ms. Anderson. This afternoon of course'

I took a breath to rant on him about what I think is stupid when I heard POP. This is what happens when you take Long breaths as if you are in a beach.

I looked down at the button rolling towards Raphael in mortification. This day couldn't get worse. I scrambled to my legs trying to reach it when I heard a tear. 

Oh god no. Floor, open up and swallow me whole. Phone, ring. Pipes, burst. Please, anything to create a diversion so I can escape the most awkward moment of my life.But as usual, the universe ignored my pleas for help and left me exactly where I was— in Raphael Sinclair's office with a torn skirt and one button-less blouse. 

I stood awkwardly holding my gaping blouse, 'Umm Mr. Sinclair..Umm'

He cleared his throat and pointed to the door, 'You may find something to wear in there', he said not meeting my eyes. Is it my imagination his eyes glimpsed toward my body? Surely he is too stoic to show such an emotion as lust.

I opened said door with post haste to find myself in a closet. Not a small one for Raphael Sinclair, no. My entire bedroom can fill here and still there would be space left. I checked the wardrobe but to my utter horror all I could find are suits, suits and more suits.

All I can wear from this lot is a shirt.  I slid my sleeves through the shirt and buttoned it up. It barely reached my thighs, at least it covered all important parts.It smelled like him, all manly and woodsy—as if someone had bottled the scent of testosterone and sold it. I shake my head to clear my thoughts of lust. Seriously Erica, lusting after Lord now?

I opened the door to hear the hitching sound. It couldn't be, could it? Well well, it seems Raphael Sinclair is not immune after all. Good to know he is a  mere mortal like me. His gaze roamed down my body before reaching my eyes. The heat radiating from his eyes wants me to melt into a puddle before him.

'If your ogling is over, perhaps you want to change into this', he pushed a carry bag into my hands.

Yup, this day could get worse.
