Normally in an apocalyptic world, you have allies and loved ones or you can even be by yourselves. But not in this case. Andrew is stuck with his bully Spencer of all people. A zombie outbreak has occurred. This is not a typical zombie outbreak. These are zombie mutants. Andrew is a smart university student while Spencer is more of a survivalist. Andrew and Spencer hear about a place that is save from zombie mutants. They must put aside their differences and work together to survive. The zombie dominator fixed his eyes on Mo Yan. He was on alert, but didn't shrink back. What was more obvious in his eyes was the greed. Without making any sound, he stared straight at Mo Yan.
Gradually, more level-five zombies showed up, encircling Mo Yan and the female zombie.
Mo Yan intended to scare them off. However, that might work for some level five and six zombies, but not for the zombie dominator in front of him. He turned a little anxious. He did not foresee what was happening to him. He thought he would lose his mind and become a crazy pure beast.
Little did he think that he lost his power but kept his mind clear in the end. 
Without his power, he was an ordinary zombie. Any of the zombie leaders around him could kill him. 
He couldn't die yet! He hadn't killed Gao Haoyun, or that other man!
If he didn't chase Gao Haoyun to Huaxia Base, he wouldn't have found that other man who also ate his flesh years ago. So now, Gao Haoyun was not his only target. He needed to kill that man too. That man was also a level-eight, powerful being.
But currently, his power was gone, and he had become an ordinary zombie. He could be killed by any high-leveled zombie easily. He could die… He still had to take revenge!
He looked at the other zombies with a fierce look but didn't show any sign of weakness. His vibe remained strong. Under that vibe, no zombies except the zombie dominator dared to move.
The zombie dominator spent a long while looking at Mo Yan. Suddenly, he narrowed his eyes which were shining with a yellow light.
"Roar!" He burst in a raging roar, then swung an arm toward Mo Yan. With that, the earth under Mo Yan's feet cracked.
Thankfully, Mo Yan dodged fast enough to keep himself from falling into the earth crack.
Hearing the zombie dominator's roar, the surrounding zombies immediately charged at Mo Yan, as if they had received an order.
"Roar!"
Mo Yan leaped up to avoid the earth crack, but before he landed back on the ground, a fireball hit him.
He didn't manage to dodge this time. The fireball thudded against his back and sent him flying to the other side, then threw him to the ground. He took advantage of the pushing force from the fireball and nimbly made a roll on the ground, then sprung up and quickly leaped to the other side.
Following a series of puffing sounds, a wave of wind blades whooshed across the area that he landed just now and left a few slashes on the ground.
"Roar…" The female zombie shielded Mo Yan with her own body and roared at the zombie dominator ragingly.
Her voice was higher-pitched than that of the others. She vigilantly stared at the zombie dominator and the other zombies near her, baring her teeth and upturning the corners of her eyes. Her pretty face wore a ferocious look at that moment, and a fierce intention of killing radiated from her entire body.
"Roar…" The zombie dominator roared back at the female zombie, signaling for her to move away. However, the female zombie shielded Mo Yan determinedly and looked at the zombie dominator wrathfully.
"Roar…" 'Go away!'
The zombie dominator seemed to be hesitating. He didn't want to hurt the female zombie, but didn't want her to protect Mo Yan either.
Right at that moment, Mo Yan had his expression changed. Meanwhile, the zombie dominator took a glance at Huaxia Base.
"Roar!" He then gave the female zombie an impatient roar.
He was warning her… because he had sensed a new danger coming from Huaxia Base. It was right near them.
The other few zombie dominators had been speedily approaching Mo Yan and the earth-powered zombie dominator. Following behind them were a group of powerful humans.
The one who showed up the first was the giant zombie bird, who brought over a gust of roaring wind.
"Roar…" 'What are you doing?'
The bird uttered a roar from the sky, sounding surprised and confused.
On the ground, the earth-powered zombie dominator raised his head and responded to the bird in an unfriendly tone—'None of your business! Piss off!'
At that very moment, Mo Yan suddenly dragged the female zombie and charged at a level-five zombie near them.
"Roar…" Together, they gave that zombie a resonant roar and then attacked him. 
Mo Yan didn't fight with his claws like a beast. He rushed at the zombie and made a swift turning kick. The zombie didn't manage to dodge because he was frightened by Mo Yan's threatening vibe. As a result, Mo Yan kicked the zombie flying away. 
He had lost his power, but still had his combat skills. Facing a zombie leader who couldn't react timely, he could still make a battle.
Watching Mo Yan's movement, the zombie bird that was hovering in the sky was confused a little.
After sending the zombie leader away, Mo Yan and the female zombie immediately darted out of the encirclement.
The earth-powered zombie dominator ignored the zombie bird in the sky as he quickly turned and released his power toward the road before Mo Yan. A few earth thorns suddenly rose from the ground, reaching toward Mo Yan and the female zombie.
The two of them nimbly leaped away in different directions to avoid the earth thorns, then kept running. Behind them, the earth-powered zombie dominator charged at Mo Yan.
The zombie bird had figured out what was happening. So, he quickly folded his arms and swooped down at Mo Yan.
"Roar!" The female zombie looked at the giant zombie bird, then at the earth-powered zombie dominator, and screamed in a flurry, because she didn't know if she should try to stop the bird from the sky or the earth-powered zombie dominator.
At that moment, Si Kongchen had caught up with the other zombie dominator. He stopped running at a distance away and looked at those zombies with confusion.
He saw two zombie dominators leading the other zombies to siege the zombie emperor. The zombie emperor seemed strange, as he was trying to dodge the attack all the time. His movements were nimble and quick, but he hadn't been using his lightning power at all.
What was happening? Why had those zombies been fighting against each other? The other two zombie dominators came here from the battlefield in a hurry, and didn't seem like being summoned.
Si Kongchen spent a while watching them, then found that although the other zombies had been attaching the zombie emperor, none of them but the two zombie dominators dared to approach him.
The two zombie dominators attacked the zombie emperor while trying to stop each other. The zombie emperor would try to run together with the female zombie who was in a white dress every time he had a chance.
Si Kongchen found it interesting. But, before he could figure out a thing, the vibe of another zombie dominator arrived at the battlefield.
"Roar…" Soon, the third zombie dominator joined the fight. The zombie emperor was still the target.
Finally, Si Kongchen realized that those zombie dominators were trying to kill the zombie emperor for his nucleus!

As for the little girl’s father, can’t he just have a decent fight? He’s a human being, but why is he biting a zombie? She’s the zombie! She’s the one who’s supposed to bite! 

A zombie stood before me unaware that I existed. I take a step forward to make sure I'm not hallucinating but the zombie begins to start snarling and barking. Terrified I take a step back before I realize something, the zombie for some reason seems to be chained up. The zombie is chained in an X with its legs and arms being chained down and up respectively. I don't know why some would chain up a zombie or even how someone could but this zombie is. 

After staring at the zombie for a bit of time I find something on about the zombie. Something was sticking out of its chest. With the zombie being chained up I gather enough of my courage to go to the zombie and pull out whatever is in its chest. As I get closer the zombie has an awful stench. I haven't ever smelled a rotten corpse but I guess this is what they smell like.  I grab what's in the zombie's chest and pull it out. As I pull it out I can hear a crunching sound like one where a bone breaks and a notification pops up above the zombie's head. It's just a minus sign and a 3. Is that supposed to mean the zombie took 3 damage? This really turned out to be more and more like a game.

But if I did damage I wonder what I'm holding? As soon as I say that a notification pops up in my eyes.

Now, this gets me curious, if I can see information about this dagger, can I see information about the zombie? I decided to look at the zombie and what I saw really does disappoint me. 

{Zombie Level 1}

All I got to see about the zombie is that it's a zombie. That's just amazing. Wait no I should just be happy I at least got to see the damage the dagger could do. Now if this really is a game I'm curious that if I kill the zombie do I get experience points? So I decided to grow a pair and I brought the dagger around my chest and I stabbed the zombie in the chest where I saw a 5 above the zombie's head. Oddly nothing came out of the zombie, no sound, no blood, no guts, no nothing. The zombie is oddly empty. Now I'm curious, does stabbing the zombie in crucial body spots do more damage? Guess the best way to test that is by stabbing the zombie in the head. 

So I do, I bring the dagger up and jab it into the side of the head of the zombie, where I see an 8 above the zombies head. I guess that proves the idea of hitting something somewhere important does do more damage. Now that I think of it, I've done a good amount of damage to the zombie already. I guess the image they portray as the undying isn't for show. 

I decided that I might as well kill the zombie and see what happens. So I decided to bring my dagger up again and stab the head of the zombie a few more times. Till I finally hear a ding and see a notification in my eyes.

Death is the end to all, or so we thought.

His terror filled scream frightened the rest of the group. They turned to the source of the cry they had just heard and saw a giant, muscular zombie covered with blood, standing where the man was once holding a mace.

Matthew heard the freezing bones scream, too, and then turned toward the scream after killing his seventh zombie in this new battle. It was not hard to find the source because he saw a terrifying scene he would never forget; a giant muscular zombie had just blown one of Tom's companions into a haze of blood. Despite the shock he felt, he quickly regained himself and focused on the giant zombie. Then, a screen appeared in his vision.

Description: A zombie that evolved because of the immense fury it felt for all living beings. His only desire is the extinction of everything that still has a vital sign. He greatly improved strength and constitution in exchange for agility, intelligence, and wisdom.

Matthew froze in fear as he saw the description of this new zombie. Compared to what the zombie won, he lost almost nothing. At this stage this zombie was basically a slaughter machine. If he left that zombie alive, probably all who were fighting would die. Matthew then quickly killed the two remaining zombies he was facing and commanded Little Black to finish off the last zombie and go help him in the battle against the zombie fury. 

As Matthew started to run toward the fury zombie, it turned toward a man who wielded a staff and had a skill to manipulate water and ran toward him. Although the fury zombie was extremely slow, due to its superior size compared to an ordinary person and its great strength, each step it took was equivalent to three or four steps of an ordinary human. The frightened man saw that fury zombie was heading toward him and manipulated the water to trap the zombie in a water bubble.

The water began to gather around the body of the fury zombie and formed a bubble that trapped him. Seeing his water bubble successfully trapped the fury zombie in it, the man was relieved. But it was only for a few seconds. He soon paled when his water bubble, which was as sturdy as an iron bar, exploded as if it were nothing.

After bursting the water bubble, the fury zombie had started his pursuit again. Out of fear, the man tried to run but  he forgot that there were still a few zombies behind him. In a moment of recklessness caused by fear, he took a punch and when he fell to the ground, they began to devour him as he screamed in agony.

The fury zombie then stopped chasing him and as he was about to turn to run towards another person, Matthew came and cut with the sword toward the waist of the fury zombie. Matthew stopped and turned to face the fury zombie and was surprised when he saw that he had only left a cut in the flesh of the fury zombie.

The fury zombie was infuriated by a living being able to hit him and hit the ground with both arms. The ground then cracked from impact and it began to run toward Matthew, trying to take revenge on the damage he suffered. Cold sweat started to form on Matthew's body when he saw that powerful zombie running towards him but he recovered and ran towards the zombie as well.

When the fury zombie and Matthew were extremely close, it struck a punch so hard that it was visible to see the air twisting around the fist. Matthew dodged to the right of the arm of the fury zombie and cut in the direction of the arm. He kept running even though he felt a piercing pain coming from his ears and realized that his ears were bleeding.

Matthew then realized that he was not just bleeding; he could not hear any sound either. Matthew started to get desperate when he realized that his eardrum probably had burst from the strong punch earlier but soon calmed down and decided he would finish the zombie fury first and then try to solve it later.
Matthew then turned around and saw that fury zombie was extremely enraged and began to roar -- Matthew thought he was roaring since he could not comprehend any word from it.

He frowned when he thought it was unbelievable that he could not hurt the zombie fatally. For this zombie, everything he was doing was probably like an annoying fly that did not die.

Matthew had just left the fury zombie with some minor injuries, nothing that would make it easier to fight him. It seemed like he would have to face a difficult battle. As he was pondering about his chances in this battle, Matthew felt Little Black approaching and put a smile on his face as he thought, "Let's start the fight."

In a summer morning in the year 2020, was when it all started, the terror, later known as "The Darkness", few believed that this really would happen, for many were conspiracy theory, but when it really came, it took everyone from the most fanatical to the most discredited, but no matter how much people prepared, it wasn't enough for the terror that was to come.
