Jiro Oshima can be seen cutting through armor and flesh like butter with his legendary sword, dodging every attack that comes his way before he was the only one alive, standing over many bloody piles of bodies. His muscular body was covered with the blood of many and there wasn't a drop of blood that belonged to him. Returning home from the massacre, Jiro was welcomed by twelve beautiful women before they kept him awake for the whole night.

However, Jiro's fun was cut short as he woke up on his bed with an erection. Looking around the room's walls that were covered with hentai posters and the countless piles of empty cup noodles. Finding no beauty insight, except for the ones on the posters, Jiro sighed before getting ready for an ordinary day as a senior in high school.

He didn't bother fixing his messy hair as he washed his average-looking face a few times to get himself to wake up, knowing that he shouldn't have stayed up for so long reading that cultivation novel. It wasn't worth it because of how impulsive the main character was. Jiro auto-piloted his daily routine, not bothering to eat breakfast today as well. He left his one-room apartment and walked to school with his usual indifferent as ever eyes, scaring people that walked by him, mostly because of how much he looked like a delinquent.

Jiro knew his life was miserable but didn't plan on ending it all since he couldn't imagine himself not being alive. Additionally, it was stupidly impulsive and that's what he hated the most, impulsive people.

It was a coincidence that he looked to his left to see a girl, who's legs were shaking as she looked at an approaching truck with fear. Time had slowed down enough for Jiro to make a decision whether or not to save her. Additionally, Jiro even recognized the girl, she was very popular in his school and had a way brighter future than him.

Jiro continued to look at her with his emotionless eyes. A small part of him wanted to try to save her, giving meaning to his life, but he just stood there doing nothing. He wasn't paralyzed by fear. No, not in the least, Jiro wasn't impulsive and knew that he would be in the right not to do anything. Again, he wasn't suicidal and couldn't imagine himself not being alive, so trading his own life for another person was out of the question for him.

However, time had also slowed down for the unmanned truck, and it chose to swerve into the mean-looking delinquent instead of the beautiful girl. 

{Extra Info: With that, the truck's assignment for this world was accomplished before it traveled into another world, identical to this one, to look for another heroic highschooler to run over and reincarnate.}

'Huh,' Jiro thought, feeling surprised but his eyes betrayed his emotions, not widening in the least, as he observed the truck swerve into him.

'That was less painful than I expected' He thought, thinking the pain he felt was awfully similar to when he stubbed his toe.

Shortly after, in the dark void that he was now floating in, Jiro saw a big book floating in front of him. He opened the book only to be instantly immersed in the story being told.

The book took him a while to finish before he was devastated to see the book not having an ending. To be honest, it seemed more like the introduction to a light novel than a book, since it took place inside a cultivation world, but still deserved the right to be called a book due to the sheer amount of detail and imagery that the book contained. The book would've been better if its main character didn't have the mind of a child, but it was a good read nonetheless.

After recovering from the shock of the book finishing without an actual ending, Jiro was greeted by a screen that reminded him of those video games he would play, before switching his hobby to reading light novels instead.

Feng Yingtai entered the sect with a condition that her low-talent brother, Feng Ru, can join too. The woman agreed, knowing that Feng Ru would get kicked out for his low-talent after not meeting the cultivation base criteria in a few years, and figured that it would serve the purpose of de-sensitizing the girl for the real world. Then, Feng Yingtai trains with her new teacher for 4 years, missing his brother while Feng Ru often gets beaten up and treated terribly by his peers for 4 years, but still gives it his all to live up to the being the younger brother of Feng Yingtai.]

His eyes, that had long gotten used to the dark, was blinded by the bright light but after his eyes had adjusted, Jiro was shocked to see that the room, he was standing in, looked identical to how he had imagined Feng Ru's outer-court room looked like, using the book's godly imagery.

Jiro, an 18-year-old senior in high school, gets run over and reincarnates into the body of a talentless 16-year-old in a cultivation world. He's got a system so we shouldn't worry too much for him.

Who asked him about this? That too in calligraphy? Maybe he is commenting on my looks. I looked at my attire today. Its a good red salwar kameez. People rarely wear salwar here, most of them wear jeans so, he might think me different. I tried to answer myself for the question araised.

"meera",a stern and strong voice that made me to come back from thoughts. I looked at professor , he looked angry.
"you aren't concentrating here from the time class starts. ",his voice is full of impatience. he came forward and checked my notes, i wrote only few words that he dictated. 
"discipline doesn't come with studies, fine example", he mentioned me before class and i wasn't embrassed really.
"stand outside the class",he ordered and this is the major thing i want now. I moved out, this is the first time i am standing out, but no feel or guilty. What happened to my minute feelings today?
 I happened to look at dinesh smirking, i narrowed my eyebrows. He narrowed his eyebrow too and i folded my hands across chest. He copied my moves. Cool! I waved my hands back and forth limiting professor's eyesight , he did it too.

"dinesh , get out!", 

I smirked and he smiled while coming towards the door. he folded  his hands and stood at the another edge of entrance door. 

~bell rang in few minutes and i apologized to professor. He gave me few advise before leaving. I went to grab all my belongings where dinesh already is. He is different today, not the same rough and sober boy look.
"hey meera. A minute?", he called me by sitting on bench.
 I was surprised that he know my  name and also  i was little affected by the way he pronounced my name. i nodded and said yes. 
"i need your favour", he said by waving his legs on air. I was seeing his waving legs to avoid his eye contact and look. I  managed to reply in single word,"what?"
"i was working as a part time intern in a startup company. Sometimes, it involves calculative and summary work. i could manage calculation and i want to write the summary of datas i send to you",he looked serious.
I was fascinated as he tell. No one will dare to give me a job, because i obviously spoil it.he gives me a work, i felt more responsible and matured, And i love to gather datas to write summary. I nodded , my muscle system worked before my brain starts to work. 
"how often?", i inquired.
"not more than 2 days in a week",he said and patted himself.
Riya and asha came in search of me and they became curious as they seen my conversation with him.

Chapter 3
"facetime with sooooooooman, girls please dont peek out!", asha warned smilingly.
"ahaan! If you would have did this without telling us, you might had peaceful conversation. But now,..", riya chased harder to grab her mobile. Both climbed on bed and fought, i wondered what soman might be seeing in facetime chat.

They were fighting still, i took riya's mobile and stunned by the sender name—vicky! after a long battle whether to open this message or not, i pressed the button to open. Immediately, riya seized her mobile from my hand. 
She opened the message and gave me a idiotic smile.
"what?", i frowned and pretended like there is no interest in their relationship. I gathered all our scattered book and arranged. 
She started it after little time. "actually... i couldn't tell exactly we are friends. If i say, it would be a lie",riya started and asha cutted her face chat, we both were focussed on what she going to tell next. My heart beated faster for some reason.
"but even i couldn't name it as a  relationship",she said by clenching her fists.
"its something inbetween. I like him{she breathed and tried to find words)... maybe,  .. i need time...", she took a huge gap between words and  looked helpless. I seen different riya today. Asha and i didn't want to ask anything more, where she is not sure and convenient.

I dont know why, they are more comfortable to sleep on my shoulder and lap rather than cot. Also i had deep sleep with them on floor than being in single member cot.

I reached early today to get sapiens book from library. The book i had been reading from my 10 th grade, i still couldn't complete it. It takes me nearly 15mins to understand one entire page. After a long search, i got it from a shelf and i searched the reviews  in the internet. I know this is the best book but still i like to hear some good reviews about the book , it keeps me excited and energetic.

"excuse me", an unfriendly voice.
 I ignored it and concentrated on reviews. A group of four girls stood before me and i found one girl familiar- deepika. There will be a girl in every college, undoubtedly the best looking and gets popular in few days. yes, deepika. She is from fashion designing department. She is the only girl in whole college whom dinesh talk to , except yesterday. I seen her with him many times, few rumoured them as friends from childhood and few called them lovers. I literally dont care what it is... just maybe a little... i wasn't sure....
"i need that book",she pointed the book i had by waving her little hair with one hand and another on her hip. Her friends smiled at me ironical. For some strange reason(maybe the reason is obvious), i dont like her. is she really trying to depreciate me by her actions or i feel like she doing just because i dont like her.
"umm. Left with only few pages, i will return this book in two weeks.", i muttered.
"i am not asking, i said i need it",she demanded.
"i am impressed with your way of dressing sense", one of her friends chuckled sarcastically  by analysing me up and down.
I never fought with girls before. In this situation, to avoid arguement , fight or misunderstanding i usually give up. But, there is something special with her, i wanna fight. Before i speak,

"there is enough space to keep someone inside", deepika said by holding my salwar suit. Others joined with her laugh.
 I used to wear loose clothes since, they are comfortable and gives good space for air. as she talk, few people gathered around us.

"you look like a toothpaste  covered by an aluminium thin foil sheet in this outfit", a girl in blue t shirt giggled. I was little ashamed and i want to hide somewhere where no one can find.

"hey , wait! do you have a eating disorder?",a girl who tattooed asked by scrubbing her neck and a simper on her lips. They Constantly throwing me some words .

No one in this entire world called me skinny, except my mom. Even i weigh 70 pounds, my mom tell me i am lean and unhealthy. But these girls, trying to annoy me for something that  i am not. May be this loose suit, showing them like i am stick. I was bit confused, i am sure that's the thing they want. I wanted to hide my expression, but i couldn't. I checked myself. Am i really became skinny, maybe because of mess and hostel food?

"do you need help to carry that book?", deepika referred the book i had and smirked. i just handed the book to her to escape from their irritating words. i feared that i will get inferior feel soon. I took my steps faster than i can and striked on a rock. Not exactly a rock,i looked up and its dinesh. Why i am always meeting him in frustrated mood. His smile turned concerned and  he was about to ask something but, i ignored him and moved towards hostel.

This story is about a girl from village and a boy from City. They together come across avrious dilemma, love, romance and problems. How she console her joint family to accept Dinesh and how they faced their hurdles. A beautiful love story ends with a tragedy.

He was definitely mad, but he was mostly mad at himself, at his own powerlessness. He vowed that he would never be too weak to stand up for himself again. Once he made his vow, he reached a place of stillness and solid conviction in his heart. He knew what he needed to do. So, he pulled out the leather book that Kali gave him and used the blood already dripping from his hand to touch the book. Immediately, the book let out a golden glow that filled the room. Luckily, there were no windows in his room. So, no one noticed the bright light. 

As the light began fading Tahir head started to pound. There was a large amount of information pouring into his head, and it threatened to overwhelm him. But Tahir refused to give in to darkness and persevered. Once the headache faded, Tahir noticed that he knew the summary information of hundreds of cultivation techniques. "No wonder that hurt. Tahir nodded his head after reviewing the summary information. Although slightly more detailed, it offered mostly the same information that Kali gave him yesterday. He began reviewing one summary after another throughout the entire day. He continued his daily routine of collecting items and handing out food somewhat absentmindedly throughout the day until well after night fall. 

At one point, Rin pulled Gin to the side and asked if Tahir was ok. Gin whispered to Rin in reply, "I think he got into a bad fight when he went out. He was wounded when he came back. That's why I had you continue to keep his mother occupied."

Rin had a sad expression on her face when she replied. "I hope he'll be ok. I'm still not sure why he wants us here. I'll go make us some pallets in the spare room for us to sleep." 

While they were whispering, Tahir never showed any signs that he heard what they said. At night, he went to check on Adria. She noticed something was amiss. "Tahir, what's wrong?"

When his mother called his name, it broke his concentration. He was going over the hundreds of choices for cultivation techniques in his mind all day without stopping. When his concentration was broken, he noticed how tired his mind was. However, his time was fruitful. He narrowed it down to a few choices. He responded to his mother. "Nothing mom. I'm just thinking about some information I read trying to make sure I remember." He didn't want to tell his mother what happened in the market earlier today. The last thing she needed right now was something to worry about. 

Adria looked at her son suspiciously before replying. "Alright. Well good night. Make sure you get some rest."

Tahir smiled at her. "I will. Don't worry." He then went to his room and closed the door. He'd spent the whole to narrow down his choices to 3 different choices.

Tahir reviewed these summaries and made his final decision. He called out to Kali in his mind to get more information on these 3 scriptures. 

As soon as he called out, he was transported to the realm. "I've decided to cultivate these three."

Kali shook his head in resignation. "So it seems you've decided to cultivate all three type of cultivation methods after all."

Tahir nodded his head with confidence and conviction. "Yes. I only have myself for support. There's no one else in my family to support me. So, I need to be able to fight using any and all methods. I can't achieve my goals in this life if I have weaknesses."

Kali stared at Tahir for over a minute and saw that the conviction on his face never wavered. "Since that's the case, I think you might be interested in something else I have to show you."

A young boy was tired of having his life dictated by the whims of others. He was identified as a bastard because his mother raised him as a single woman. He was identified as easy to bully because he had no backing. He was targeted by those in his father’s family because they saw him as an eyesore. They made it difficult for him to lead a decent life. 

He’s had enough. All he wanted is to be left alone, enjoy his life with his mother, and live by his own efforts. He decided since others wouldn’t let him live peacefully in the light, he’d make a life in the shadows where no one can take anything from him ever again.

After a while, the purple dragon soul handed a long scalpel to the Azure Dragon moodily.
Fang Ning whispered to the System. "Look at that long face, I wonder what happened."
"I don't know either. We only wanted one extra book. Does it have to brood over this?" Sir System snorted.
"Exactly." Fang Ning agreed. "The book is of no use to it anyway. How many times can this thing be used?"
"Alright, Great Venerable Dragon God, your scalpel is ready, but please try to avoid a C-section and attempt a side cut instead. If there's a lack of hardship in the birth of the world, its potential for growth will be limited in the future." The purple dragon soul said weakly.
"Huh, you're knowledgeable about this. I'll try." Fang Ning nodded in agreement.
What followed next was a series of indescribable procedures. Sir System got some flesh and scales from the Rainbow Dragon's body. They were actual flesh of the True Dragon and had a long history. 
"Sir, you do love to take advantage of others…" Fang Ning was amazed by the System's action.
"But of course, I need to save for the future after all." Sir System asserted.
Fang Ning had no idea how much time had passed throughout the entire operation. Anyway, he had slept three times and woke up three times. Assuming no one disturbed him and each slumber lasted for a year, three years had probably passed. 
"Ok, the world is finally born, just like Ne Zha[1]." Sir System announced gladly. 
"Where is it? I want to see." Fang Ning urged impatiently.
"Right in front."
Fang Ning had a look via the System View and saw a giant with a copper skin tone lying under the body of the dying Rainbow Dragon.
"Huh, is this giant the new world? It has just been born and it's so big. Strange, indeed." Fang Ning gasped.
"What a load of balderdash. This giant still needs to absorb nutrients from this void and continue to grow. Once it's grown, it'll then die. After its death, it'll become the world. Its eyes will become the sun and the moon, its hair will become stars, its blood will become rivers, its bones will become mountains and valleys…[2] I didn't make this up. It's one of the ways the world is created as recorded in the 'True Dragon World Creation Tome'." Sir System explained. 
"I see." Fang Ning eyed the naive giant with pity. It had not even opened its eyes, yet its fate had already been decided by others.
What a tragedy. Just like mortals, no matter how robust and vigorous and gifted one was, no one escaped death in the end. 
Fang Ning felt emotional. He had no right to sympathize with others, for he could not even control his own destiny.
A moment passed again, and the giant finally opened its eyes. What it did right after waking up made Fang Ning stop sympathizing with it!
It swallowed the dying Rainbow Dragon!
The scene reminded Fang Ning of a gruesome manga, "Attack on Titan".
"It brings with it an intrinsic, original sin. This world is doomed to face destruction again!" Fang Ning cursed.
System Notification: [The Host has made an indescribable prophecy and generated an indescribable consequence.]
"Huh, what's the meaning of this?" Sir System inquired curiously.
"I have no idea." Fang Ning threw his hands in the air. "Ok, don't bother about it, we'll go create a world full of truth, kindness, and beauty on our own."
"Hmph, you're so immature." Sir System jeered. "Surely, that sort of world won't have any combat effectiveness."
"Listen to your own words, didn't the five Bronze Saints rely on love and justice to defeat their unassailable enemies?" Fang Ning argued.[3]

"I don't believe this crap. Am I supposed to create a King of the Gods Space Mode in order to ensure combat effectiveness? Impossible, the act of guarding will stimulate the greatest potential and combat effectiveness of humans." Fang Ning emphasized.
"As you wish. Anyway, I won't be the one who'll suffer losses when the time comes." Sir System chuckled.
"Why?" Fang Ning frowned.
"I'll look for another home before you die." Sir System quipped.
"No way, you son of a b*tch. We've been through the massive changes in the world and we share a revolutionary friendship. How can you give it up so easily? Moreover, where are you going to put your Heroic Achievement?" Fang Ning said anxiously.
"Eh, although what you said sounds nice, my life is still important. Trying doing it again and again. Who knows, perhaps, there'll be much more potential." Sir System muttered.
Fang Ning was temporarily relieved. He declared excitedly. "Great, everything is set. We can finally start creating the world."
"Bang!" A huge tome that was as tall as a hundred-story building landed on Fang Ning and had him pinned to the ground.
"Dammit, what the hell are you doing?! Are you jealous of me?!" Fang Ning yelled.
"What I meant was, if you want to create the world, you should first master this encyclopedia of world creation." Sir System scoffed.
He noticed five large words on the spine of the tome, "True Dragon World Creation Tome".
"Huh, haven't you mastered it?" Fang Ning asked. "Can't I just command you?"
"Are you insane?! You don't even know a thing. How are you supposed to command me?" Sir System said dismissively.
"I'll just learn it then." Fang Ning grumbled. "Sigh, I never thought that pretending was a tough job too."
"Bullsh*t, a slacker like you wants to pretend?"
Fang Ning lifted his head to gaze at the massive book. His heart raced furiously. "Am I supposed to spend an eternity to learn this up?"
Sir System sniggered. "If you don't want the world you create in the future to revolve for only seven or eight days, you'd better master this technique. You keep insisting on the values of love and justice, yet you aren't willing to educate yourself. This isn't the way things work. The enemy upholds the law of the jungle where the fittest ones survive."
"Eh, then I shall make sense of the summary first. You shall look into the details." Fang Ning remarked slyly. "I believe in you."
He did not wait for the System to decline and began to climb the book.
He reached the highest point and flipped to the first page.
"World Creation Summary, first there's light, then time is created, Space Order, then Material Order… my head's about to burst." Fang Ning could see stars around him.
"Read it properly and don't look for any excuses." Sir System lectured him.
"Sigh, why are you able to master it effortlessly?" Fang Ning was envious of the System.
"Nonsense, didn't you mention that I was created by the Heavenly Axiom? This is my ability." Sir System grinned.
Fang Ning could not rebut the System, so he mumbled to himself, "I'm such a pitiful 60-something old man. I can't believe I still have to study at this ripe old age."
He was not sure how much time would pass by studying the book. After all, according to the System Space's calculations, when the one hundred and fifty-fifth year of Shenyuan arrived, Fang Ning would have only understood three pages.
"Fine, I'm not gonna do it repeatedly. That's enough, I've comprehended the summary. Time to get to work." Fang Ning remarked enthusiastically.
Sir System inquired, "Which method of World Creation do you intend to choose?" 
"The Matrix method. I'll create a virtual world first. After repeated testing to strengthen the System, I'll make the virtual world a reality." Fang Ning explained.
"Eh, Mr. Rich Boss, you're good at planning. I'm beginning to admire you again." Sir System praised him.
"Hahahaha, so. Whatever it is, I'm still a programmer." Fang Ning grinned.
[1] Ne Zha is a deity from Chinese mythology. His mother gave birth to a ball of flesh and he emerged from it as a young boy when his father attacked the ball with his sword, thinking it was a demon. As soon as he was born, Ne Zha could speak and walk.

[3] The five Bronze Saints are the protagonists of the manga series "Saint Seiya". In Chinese, the five characters are collectively known as 五小强 which means "the five Xiao Qiang" literally. Xiao Qiang is a slang used to refer to cockroaches due to their toughness. Hence, the five Bronze Saints are referred to this way due to their resilience and unshakable morale.


Procrastinator extraordinaire, Fang Ning, had lost his consciousness after banging his head on a night of celebration. He woke up to a realization that he no longer had control of his body, as a System had taken it over. Will he eventually regain control of his body or will he be trapped in his body forever? The reason why I haven't been writing for a while is because I have been grinding up an actual short book that I plan to publish. I probably mentioned this before, but this is apart of a school project. Once this event is over I'll start writing here again. Also, I might post a link to where you can by the book, planing to make it as cheap as possible. I will not force any one of you to buy it either, it's not going to be that good of a book.

Previous battle allow at least 1/4 to nearly half of zombies to be clear for this 8th floors even through a few zombies are coming from rest of floors

Only good things are there are some survivors are fighting for their lives so it doesn't attract too many of survivors(you guys know zombies) to me as they are either bitten to death by the zombies or they upgrade themselves to other beings.

With enough said, I feel tired and move back into my home to rest.

More details on my so-called apartment

There are 3 lifts, both left and right lifts have 2 apartment away to the most end, Middle left located at the center of the building

Lifts are always pairing up with staircase make zombies come up for surprise ambushes from zombies very often.

There are 2 types of apartment-style

First one is the walkthrough which our MC is live in, total 14 apartments, 7 on each side

The second one is the semi-maze which is like a hive, require to go to the walkthrough floor to get to another side of the apartment but the apartment is bigger, total 16,8 on each side

For MC apartment 4 walkthrough floors and rest are maze floors

Mc is a bit lucky because some survivors are shouting or screaming, he doesn't get "gang" up so badly.

I check the system, now there are new functions which are the quest, inventory, news, lottery, a party(gray out), trade(gray out)

The functions are pretty common for gamers, it really comes to no surprise on how the functions works

Quest = you know mission and etc

Inventory = your bags, LOL you can store stuff in your inventory so you do not have to carry things around

News = wow in this world have News LOL it is interesting to think about it

Lottery = I don't really know what it does, it sounds like some cache or something

I check on the quest and start doing it

Tutorial Quest teaches you how to equip your equipment for the first quest

I just list out how troublesome it is:

1st how to open your eyes to search

2nd requires you to move

3rd require practice how to attack by attacking using your weapon 3 times

4th require using your skill

5th fight 2 zombies which I fought already

6th loots and the end result

7th understand flanking help boost a bit more damage to the target

8th understand have a party helps

9th require you to have red pills, blue pills, RTE pack by opening survivor pack

10th understanding of rage mode which helps boost 20% stats and 50% of the damage that will help turn sides of the battle for a period of time

11th understanding of each level up and add to stats

(According to the tutorial, each level up allows you to add 3 stats and 1 skill point after every 5 levels allow you to get add-on of 2 more stats and 2 more skills points)

12th understanding why jobs are important(jobs allows new skills to be learned which could increase surviving chance)

13th kill 5 zombies to show that you can survive

14th rarity of the items

15th require fusing your starting weapon with your loot into a better weapon

(require 2 zombie skin and 5 fangs peruse)

One fine day, lordol have a dream on preregistered of the certain event, on the next day, he suddenly noticed that his world took a drastic change.

From its earlier peacefulness, he found himself in a world that seemed a dungeon with no escape, where everyone seeks for a safe zone, either by paying, stealing, or building one by using hunt materials earned through their fight for survival.

The public library was much smaller then the library in the Flamesmith clan. It was only a floor tall. Leon walked in, everything was free of charge and everyone was allowed to borrow books. So he didn't have to worry about being stopped from reading anything. 

Leon went and looked around. He saw regular books as well as arts. Unlike the Flamesmith clan which separated the two into two separate Libraries. 

The public Library was small so Leon found what he was looking for quickly. He saw a shelf full of Arts. But not just any <Tier 0> arts, <Tier 0> arts focused on the body.

Leon picked two arts and read the summary on their first page. He had gotten a glimpse of all other arts and these two looked the most promising.

"<Pounding skin Art> let your body be hit by a thousand punches everyday while saying this chant to make your body stronger."

"<Charred finger Art> Touch a candle flame with your finger and slowly make your finger heat resistant."

"I can't train the first art, without the slaughter qi reinforcing my body, I won't be able to last 3 punches. The second one isn't even close to what I want. Let's see the others." Leon was losing hope after reading the first two. 

He picked another book and read it.

"<Knife block Art> Stab yourself in the chest with a knife and if you survive stab yourself again do this until your body gets stronger." 

After reading the arts summary, Leon read it again, he flipped through the book and the art was exactly what the summary had said it was. 

"F*ck! I didn't know there were Arts that taught suicide!" Having read the book Leon was fuming, the author had written such pompous trash. If he didn't get angry he wouldn't be human.
 
Everyone in the library looked at Leon. Because of the commotion. The librarian moved to Leon. 

"Sir all the books here aren't very helpful. All the body arts are either useless or incomplete. I recommend you check the elemental arts over there." 

Leon nodded but continued to see the next few books. Seeing that Leon wasn't listening the librarian shook his head as he walked away. 

"<Hopeful art>, just hope you get stronger, and if you hope enough it will happen."

He didn't even have words for this art. He just ignored and moved on. 

"<Gold Hope art>, fill a bathtub with gold, melt it and then sink yourself in it, you will then gain the gold body ability." 

"<Water Hope art>, put yourself in a bathtub of water and hope you get stronger." Another book was added to the pile on the floor.

"Why don't any of these have any chants or runes?" 

Leon was getting annoyed, he felt the last four book he read were similar. He checked who the author was and his deduction was proven right. They were all by the same author- Lucky Devil. 

He went though all the books and picked out two more books by the author called <Fire Hope art> and <Happy Body art>. One was to burn yourself and pray to God that you'll gain the flame body while the other was to be happy with yourself and stop trying to cultivate your body. 

Leon picked up the books and tried to see if there was a secret in the arts. After flipping through them he threw them all to the side. 

"Useless, F*ck! I didn't know such trash arts existed!" 

Leon picked up the last book on the shelf, "<Beast Bloody body Art>. Bathe in bestial blood to grow stronger." 

A sigh of relief left Leon's mouth. He read through the whole thing and finally found something he could use. "The art is complete but is to complicated for a Tier 0 art. It needs you to collect beast blood, the fresher the better. Then you need to cover yourself in it and form a rune." Leon flipped to the last page that showed the image of some type of ancient writing inside a circle. 

"The rune will take up around 10% of the energy of the beast to form. It will then be able to absorb energy from the surrounding passively and make the body of the cultivator stronger. The talent of the beast will determine the rate of body strengthening of the rune and maximum limit it will strengthen the body to."

Leon scrutinised the picture of the rune on the last page and was surprised. "It's so complicated? Even I would need to concentrate to draw something like this, how could your normal mortal do this?" 

"But I can see why it would be useless to most people. Mostly mortals would cultivate this art so they won't be able to kill beasts by them selves. They'll have to buy it or pay someone else to help them kill it. Even if they get the beast blood it is difficult to form the rune, then even more so to form such an unstable one."

"Even if the mortal somehow forms the rune the effects would severely lackluster as the passive strengthening from a low talent beast will barely be felt and high talent beast are hard to find and hard to kill." 

Leon closed the book. A page fell out into the floor.

Leon picked it up and saw that the tea stained  page had the words 'Beasts Rank List' written on top.

"The beasts rank List? Is this suppose to be a ranking of beasts by strength?" Leon thought as he looked at the numbers next to the names. 

"Ranking beasts has been done so many times. There are to many variants to such a list. But only a few are truly recognised as correct." 

Leon looked at the names of beasts. A lot of the name were faded but he could make out some of them. He read the ones he could make out.

"First place: <Dragons>"

"Third Place: <Demons>"

"Fifth place: <Angels>"

"Tenth place: <Devils>"

"Fifteenth place: <True Faeries>"

"Forty second place: <Dryards>"

"Ninety ninth place: <Butterflies>"

Having seen tens of thousands of different beasts and multiple versions of such lists, Leon felt that he had the right to judge the validity of the list.

"The Dryards should be higher up, at least in the thirties. While the butterflies should be at least in the top fifty. The most frightening beast I've ever seen was a Butterfly." Thinking of the butterfly made a chill go down his spine. 

"Demons have also been overestimated they don't deserve a spot in the top ten."   

"All the other spots are unknown. But I can't believe I almost forgot that, I know the future I can go and contract talented beasts before the Summoners who contracted them in my past life have the chance." Leon felt a little better. He knew the location hundreds of beasts that he could contract. Other then knowing future events he had another advantage. 

Leon kept the list back into the book. He then went back to the Liberian to borrow the Beast Blood body art. 

The Liberian saw the book and shook his head, "This book may have a cool name, but it isn't any good, you should go look for some other art. I've seen hundreds of people borrow this book yet no one has come back and told me they cultivated it successfully." 

"There is no reason to not try, who knows I might be the one that cultivates it." Leon said with a smile.

The Liberian sighed, "Thats what the last hundred said. Here, good luck."

Leon took the book and headed back to the Clan. He had got what he came for. 

Along the way he used the 500 copper to buy a bottle of the lowest quality beast blood and a cheap soul quill.

At the clan gates Leon showed his Clan Token and entered. He walked all the way to his house. It was still early morning and his house was empty. 

His dad had left to do his work as an elder of the Clan, while his mother had left to meet with her friends for morning tea. 

This was some thing his parents did in his past life, while being locked up in the tower he had asked them to tell him what they did all day so he knew their routine. 

Leon went up to his room. He set down all the book, the bottle and the quill. He then looked at the pills his father had  bought for him and kept them to the side. 

"Using such low quality pills would lower my potential while giving me a slight increase in my bodies strength. Potential for strength, is the dumbest trade off you could do." 

Leon picked up the <Beast Blood Body Art> he flipped to the page with the rune drawn on, he then picked up another book that his younger self used to use to write notes in. 

He then opened the beast blood bottle and dipped the soul quill into it. He then started copying the rune onto the book. 

Soul quill was a special quill that allowed the writer who used it to draw runes onto paper without the use of elemental energy. The rune could then be activated using Soul energy and tested for its effects.

"I'll have to slowly improve the rune, by making small changes, until it becomes actually useful." 

"This rune is actually even harder then I thought, you need to at least be a Summoning Master to make something this complicated. Looks like the origin of this rune isn't as simple as I thought." 

He then finished drawing it, studied it. He then put his hand onto the rune and used his soul energy to activate it and measure its effects. 

Soul energy was the energy of the soul that all humans had. It was different from elemental energy as it was used to build the soul.

Leon's soul energy had been drained as both souls in his body had almost all their soul energy drained to keep the body alive and support it to keep two souls. 

It was Leon's past souls large amount of soul energy, the reason the younger Leon was still alive.

The rune lit up and Leon could tell what it's effects were. "It still takes in 10% of the energy of the beast, it's just that it's a little more stable." 

Leon continued to do same on the next page...

Leon did this repetitive task for the next four hours, he drew hundreds of runes each a little diffferent then the last. He then activated them and tested for the effects. 

Continually altering it made Leon how wrong he had been to think this tune was simple. 

Around the 104th rune he stopped and looked at the rune. It held traces of the rune he had started with but it was very different. 

Leon put his finger on it and activated it. Feeling the effects he smiled.

"Absrobs around 50% of the dead beasts energy, it's made even more efficient in the strengthening, it should be around twice as strong as the original rune, which means the for their same talent of beast this rune will cause almost double the amount of strengthening to the body." 

Leon sighed looking at the rune, "This is the most efficient rune I can draw in my current circumstances."

Leon heard the door open downstairs, his mother had returned. 

Leon walked down to greet her. 

Sandra entered and saw Leon, she saw him and asked, "Leon, what happened? I met Aunt Reva on the way and she said that you were thrown out of the lecture in the morning."

"Well, I, don't know, I just didn't like Elder Raymond, maybe I was tired and my mind was clouded."

Sandra sighed, "Well, it doesn't matter, Pace already dealt with Elder Raymond. You should go thank him. He's always taking care of you, his parents still aren't back right? Why don't you call him over for dinner or lunch tomorrow?" She then walked to the living room and put her bag down on a table. 

"Sure, mom, I'll ask him tomorrow." Leon said as he went and got a snack from the Ice Rune Fridge. Sandra saw this and entered the kitchen as well. 

"Leon, Aunt Reva also told me you were looking for arts? and that you asked about Tier 5 arts." Sandra took out some vegetables and beast meat. 

"Mom, are you sure you met Aunt Reva on the way, this a lot of 'telling' for meeting 'on the way here'." Leon took the vegetables and started chopping them with speed and grace. 

"Boy don't you sass me! So tell me what happened, why are you looking for arts so suddenly?" Sandra started boiling water. 

"I think the pills dad gave me made my body stronger, So I thought I could finally practice arts." Leon moved the vegetable onto another plate and started cutting the next one. 

"Did you find any good arts?"

"No, I even went to the public library but their wasn't anything too useful, I did borrow a book because I already went all the way there."

Sandra put the pasta into the boiling water and then looked at Leon cutting the vegetables. He was clearly different today. He would never help in cooking normally. It was like he had suddenly matured.

Leon noticed this but continued to chop the vegetables. He would never let anyone else cook for him, since he was young he was under threat of poisoning at the Flamesmith clan. 

Plus as someone who had used poison to kill hundreds of people he knew how lethal they could be, So he always made his own food. 

Sandra watched Leon cook and smiled but it was a sorrowful smile, she thought, "It looks like it's almost time..."

"Mom, why are you blanking out? You'll over cook the pasta." Leon said. 

"Ahh! Thanks Leon." 

They both finished making dinner and set it on the table. 

A few minutes later David arrived as well and the whole family was united again at the table.

"Sandra what happened? You cooked something good two times in a row? Impossible!" 

"Say you don't like me cooking again!" Sandra roared. 

"I'm kidding, I love your cooking, it might be a little bit off sometimes but that's what makes it the best in the world. Never too perfect, when it's good its the best food I've eaten, when it's bad...It's still good." 

"What do you mean by off?!"

"You sometimes put too much salt..." David knew he had messed up. 

Sandra had a look at disdain as she looked at Daivd, "I dare you to eat your breakfast tomorrow." 

"Honey, please, don't do this." 

Sandra ignored David's pleas as she said, "I didn't make it, it was Leon who made it today." 

"No, mom helped as well, it was a team effort." Leon with a serious face spoke.

"I see that's why it was so good, only my our son could rival his mother in cooking, you have inherited your mother's skills and my looks and charisma." David said with a slight nod. 

Both mother and son looked at each other, they were both rendered speechless.

Leon laid on his bed, the moon had risen and it was already night time. His parents had fallen asleep.

The expression his mother had earlier, that sorrowful smile, had told him a lot.

"Things might turn for the worst soon." Leon thought. He sighed and shook his head, it was still better then his past life, because of his talent the whole clan had been destroyed by the time he was 20.

Long ago beast and humans were living together in harmony. 

But all changed the demons broke through dimensions and attacked. 

They killed and spread chaos. 

The beast divided into two. One faction joined the humans while the other allied with the Demons. 

The humans and beast formed contracts to cultivate together to grow stronger faster.

In a small town a boy was born. He spent his life in pain, misery and war. Through the worst of fates he was killed by his own beast. 

He was given another chance by mysterious means and was brought back in time.

Lilith looked at the large structure before her - The Calton Library, which was the largest library in Whitebush. It had the largest collection of books in Whitebush, including books which had been banned in several nations as well as regions. The library was ever expanding, with new sections being added every year. Currently it was as large as the palace. And it was the only library in Nous that had the kind of book she was looking for -- an utterly sin filled romance novel.
Since Arielle was the only Kingdom with Freedom of the Press, it was bound to have the largest library with books that were banned in several other countries. 
But that did not mean that the citizens were okay with those scandalous books. Anyone who read the kind of book she was looking for weeks be called a 'Marin', a term that basically meant shameless, and it was usually used for women.
Lilith had been to Calton several times, but this would be her first time entering the Calton Library. The entrace was simple, yet elegant with the decoration beautiful, but not extravagant enough to draw your attention away from the real treasures of the place - the books.
She found the place simply enchanting, the carvings of the gods and goddesses that seemed almost lifelike reminded her of the altar of the temple where she has been sold off. 
She had to force herself to walk forward and stop staring at the carvings. She didn't know where the section for the kind of book she was looking for was, but she knew she could find it easily. It would be the place where there were the least amount of people - 'cause no one wanted to be called a Marin.
But while she was right about that, it still took her half an hour to find the section, for the library was pretty huge.
Walking about between the walls that also served as shelves for the books, Lilith ran her fingertips over the titles of the books she planned to read. She wondered if she should read these books first, but then decided against it. She knew that if she did do that then she would never begin reading a Marin book.
Then she finally found the area she was looking for, the one where people did not dare go near.
The area looked normal, except it was nearly completely deserted, except for a man with raven-black hair, who sat at the table in the centre of the section with a pile of books next to him. 
Lilith walked quietly to a rack and chose a book called - "Lucietta and the Beast". She flipped the book over but found no summary. She hoped the story would be good, for she did not want to read a nonsensical story.
With the book in her hand, she walked to the table, pulled out a chair and began to read.

When she was 10, Lilith was married off to a rich merchant. Eight years later she kills him. She goes to the capital city, Calton, and tries to live the life that she had always longed for.

Andrew was the son of the Queen of the Kingdom of Arielle. He was supposed to be privileged with his life but how could he when he knew that his very existence of him was a mistake.


They meet one day at a library, and soon become friends. But for how long will they be able to do so, especially with Lilith's past always threatening to destroy her hard earned life and him being the person who had to catch her?

Note: The story is slow paced; the story is not one of those love at first sight ones. They take time to fall in love with each other.
