"A grim reaper---" she paused, trying to remember what have happened during the showdown.

"He's like the one from before." Patricia continued.

"You mean the one Peteriona have fought?" Ms. Taylor asked and Patricia nodded.

"I see, I see, Good choice then." Ms. Taylor said. 

The room fell silent as Patricia didn't know what to respond. The event last week, and the red-eyed grim reaper creeps unto her spine, knowing that he is one of her terrors.

"You can have lunch now." Ms. Taylor spoked and Patricia went out of the office. Before closing the door, she surely heard Ms. Taylor mumbled about Lila Montague. Patricia wasn't concerned at the moment and so she headed back to her dorm and then went to the Easterian Hall to have lunch.

"What was it all about, Pat?" Peteriona asked as Patricia was heading towards Par and Pete.

Patricia settled between Pete and Par since there's a space right on that spot.

"She just asked me why did I casted Perpueto Catastra and so I answered her that Lila was playing with my terrors and stuff." Patricia answered Pete while getting a slice of a potato pie on her golden plate.

"Not much of a big deal then." Peteriona replied while munching a toasted pumpkin dish. 

"She was worried." Pariana talked after finishing her lunch.

"About what?" Peteriona replied, now eating a ham steak.

"Patricia of course." Pariana retorted, looking at Pete with disdain. Peteriona didn't argue back. Meanwhile, Patricia was silently eating her potato pie and fish steak. Peteriona then finished eating and her golden goblets and plates were now spotless and empty.

"How do you do it?" Pariana questioned Pete. Peteriona raised her eyebrow in confusion and Pariana asked again.

"I mean, eating a whole bunch of food and still having a good figure." Pariana asked clearly.

"Ow that. Good figure ha." Peteriona snapped and then continued to talk.

"I think I'm gaining weight though." Pete said.

"Oh well, if you say so." Pariana rolled her eyes and turned to Patricia who have just finished her lunch.

"Now where should we go?" Peteriona asked the two then immediately grabbed a Hotdog and eat.

"Could you stop eating for a minute, gosh!.." Pariana uttered dramatically.

"I forgot to tell you Par, did you ever read a restricted book, an article if soever, in the library?"
Patricia asked as she remembered to ask Par about it.

"Nope. But I'm looking forward to read one of those tho." Pariana answered with a smile. Patricia just mouthed 'o' and nodded for she wasn't sure if Pariana was lying since she knows about the terrors stuff found in Chapter 5 of one of the Restricted Books in the library.

The three lads headed to the library since Patricia wants to know where Pariana have found the book about the terrors stuff.

"It's here somewhere." Pariana mumbled as the three of them were looking at the variety of books in the A section. 

"I've read about amazing transfiguration spells in Section B last time I visit. I was practicing my 'petals to stone' transfiguration spell that time. I've also got the idea from it while working on my matchstick earlier." Peteriona whispered. Patricia was quite surprised with Pete's revelation. It's not like everyday you see Peteriona Ethereal reading books especially in the library.

"I never knew." Patricia whispered.

"You didn't asked." Peteriona replied.

"AHA! Found it! Come here you two!" Pariana yelled and the two lads headed towards her.

"Just don't tell Pariana about it." Peteriona whispered while Patricia and her, walked. Patricia was puzzled but then nodded thinking why should Peteriona hide this fact from Par and so when they reached Pariana, Patricia's thoughts were focused on the book entitled 'Nightmares'.

"Nightmares." Peteriona read calmly.

"What about that?" Peteriona asked, referring to the book in Pariana's hand.

"This is where I have found the terrors thingy." Pariana replied, and the three of them looked at the book.

Pariana flipped the Pages of the book and finally she found the 'terrors thingy'.

"Here." Pariana uttered. And the lads attention were on her. Peteriona lazily looked where Pariana's index finger is pointing. Patricia read it silently.

Stated there on Chapter 6 of nightmares was about terrors.
It is an overview of Chapter 5 of 'Curses and Jinxs'. 

'Terror is a very strong feeling of fear. From Anglo-French 'Terrour'; akin to Greek trein to be afraid."  It's introduction.

      'Here in Wizarding world, your terrors can be use against you. A curse is made by the son of Magus named David Magus, who made this possible.

   David Magus was a dark Magi. He made curses and Jinx's now commonly used by the modern wizards in the east. 

    This cursing spell is chanted to use your terrors against you; Self-destruction--- or someone's terrors against them. Counter-courses are none. Many have died because of the curse. The victim will found themselves at the top of a ruin castle, the place where they're executed by whatever their terror is.

     There were no counter-courses but few have survived the curse. But those who have survived will meet again their terrors in their lifespan, either they will be killed or the other way around.' 

Patricia read this and think. She was in a ruin castle when she faught with Lila or actually the grim reaper and she did survive. She told Pariana and Peteriona about this and the two lads give their opinions.

"Maybe Perpueto Catastra was a counter-course." Peteriona said coolly.

"But there were no counter-course ever made. See that--- None." Pariana defended.

"Maybe Ms. Taylor invented it." Peteriona retorted.

"Well I think, maybe Perpueto Catastra was a counter-course. It is a spell used for Black wizards, remember?" Patricia suggested, thinking of the subject deeper.

"Or maybe it depends on your terror. If only your terror have a counter-course then you'll survived." Patricia uttered her thoughts.

"You've got some point. But how come twas not written here." Pariana said.

"Remember Pariana that this is just---" Peteriona said but was cut off in mid sentence.

"Just an overview, I know." Pariana retaliated. 

"Maybe the other details were not stated because it is simply, restricted." Patricia said calmly as she know she was making sense.

"Yeah. Maybe.." said Pariana.

"Well we've got a point now so shall we go somewhere else?" Peteriona muttered.

"You just don't like the library, do you?" Pariana said, rolled her eyes and returned the book.

"If you say so." Peteriona replied and winked at Patricia. The three lads went to the Pixiestail room.

"Luckily there's no seniors around." Peteriona murmured.

18 Yun, Year 1660

Five days passed in the blink of an eye, nothing worth mentioning really happened unless you count being punished for sleeping in classes as important.

Vayne currently surrounded by mountains of books within the library skimming from pages to pages adding knowledge to his encyclopedia. it's very convenient that all he have to do is look and it's automatically recorded by the system, his 'quick reading' and 'memorizing' each and every content of the books are seen as weird and creepy by most other students. he is also branded a freak for memorizing the extra heavy and thick alchemy book in alchemy class, among his peers he is the first to take the practical lesson. memorizing the theory and knowledge from the book gave him the passive skill "basic alchemy knowledge" and the lesson gave him "basic mixtures concoction". he complained to himself about only learning the most basic of the skill but little did he know if people heard that he would be beaten black and blue because learning a skill just by attending class once is considered impossible.

with that thought he closed the book in his hand and place it on the table, he then lean on his chair and thought about the convenience of his current life, just by reading he would get skills for example reading numerous books about plants have now given him "herbalist" skill, allowing him to identify and spot plants and their effects, a good skill to have. likewise for books about animals and beast, it allows him to identify edible animals and beast including what materials could be gathered from them with the skill "hunter" but this skill doesn't seem to apply for monsters.

now as he returned the books to their shelves, he have a satisfied smile. his attention is on the newest skill he gained called "explorer" this skill gave him a map function and it's constantly showing and mapping wherever he'd been, it's placed on the top left corner of the HUD. originally the skill only give an overview map but after integrating it with the system scan function it is now able to show a 3D map view and the mapping range increased to as much as the scan range. sadly said modifications ate all his remaining Rewrite Point and he still have no idea how to replenish it.

although that reminds him of a certain skill, the skill from the assignment. the skill is called "devourer" a skill that would automatically consume and store life essence from anything he kills, if anything this is his best bet for replenishing it.

talking about the assignment he thought about his friends as he leave the library. the team work of his friends were great, the only broken rhythm is his actions and to top it off, the wolves didn't give any exp as they are only common animals. well, let's just forget about it, that fight actually gave a bit of status increase so it's acceptable.

"it's going well my liege, if everything goes according to plan we'll be ready to start the invasion in two years." answer an eye patched man in a crimson heavy armor.

"good, when the time comes, do not fail me general." the dignified man said clearly pleased with his answer.

"yes, I shall succeed and present this continent to you my king!" the eye patched man firmly answer as he kneel.

little did they know a shadow have been listening in on their conversation, after mumbling something the shadow disappear without a trace.

His fate is not his.

His memories are not real.

And his soul is not his own.

Reincarnated into an another world, while meeting new people and learning new things, Vayne adjusts and tries to enjoy his new life as much as he can. 

The Rewrite System had come to change his fate. He had been brought by the goddess who felt touched by his past deed.

He never thought of it with much importance, but that turned out to be a mistake. The more he explored, the more he learned of the so called "fate".

Wanting to break the chains of damnation and create his own destiny, he must thrive to gain strength and keep his "real" self safe.

he-ho! author here, this is my first novel that actually took form in a platform so if there's mistakes in spelling or tense do tell me since English not my first language and even my first language have many problems... so yeah that's that.

When I began writing the biography of Death, I was not sure where it would lead me. Real life inspiration and the darkest recesses of my mind competed to see which could be the more sinister. To a large extent I blindly followed them, and merely wrote down whatever sweet songs of madness they crooned to me along the trail. 

Like most writers I wrangled friends and relatives into giving me feedback. One, a millennial snowflake, was invaluable. They seemed to consider this fantasy nightmare I had created, to be some sort of manifesto. For the record this book is pure fiction. Fiction inspired by real world events in a few cases, but fiction nonetheless. Like all works of supernatural horror, this book is meant to be entertainment. It is perhaps a meditation on the zeitgeist of the modern west, but it is still as fictional as 1984 or A Christmas Carol. 

Another person seemed bothered by the apparent moral contradictions in my lead character. To this I can only say that a man is the sum of his contradictions. People love to apply the rules to others, but find reasons to grant themselves exceptions to their own rules. I did not want an incorruptible white knight monster. I wanted a complex and thinking human monster. To my way of thinking his inconsistency was his most human feature, even after he leaves his humanity behind. 

Should anyone find a mirror image to themselves in these pages, then it is only their own ego. The sum of this work has been so thoroughly washed in the waters of horror and fantasy that no living or deceased human could ever be reasonably compared to its contents. 

No rational person could ever compare the buffoons portrayed in these pages to a real life counterparts. Any person contending to the contrary is either a snowflake melting in the flames of my mad vision, or a lunatic in desperate need of having their mental faculties examined by a competent professional, I have time for neither. The fact that this book is fiction cannot be over emphasized.

Death, a Biography, is a fictional horror novel. It is crass, violent, profane, and not meant for the light hearted reader. Imagine living in a world surrounded by fools. For years your frustration grows, and no matter what you try to do you cannot free yourself from the preverbal ideocracy. Nom DePlume is just such a man, only one day he is granted the dearest wish of his heart. Nom, a grad student working as a truck driver is: intelligent, well educated, and the sort of person who always can find a reason to have a chip on his shoulder. One day while driving in Texas he finds that he has the ability to wish death on those he hates. Being scientifically minded, Nom proceeds to experiment searching out the scopes of his new found powers. He begins in Texas, a state he despises. As he moves on from each experiment, he picks his prey to match some facet of modern western life that he hates. Each receive a fate customized to match what Nom feels they did wrong. Nom then travels home to Michigan after initially defining his new role in life. In Michigan he uses his powers to settle a few old scores and family business. A run-in with an old friend convinces him that he is being selfish for not using his god like powers to better mold humanity. The end of the book sees him taking on the leader of the free world. Nom now personifying Death, learns that he has a true foe, Life.Nom will return.

An Bing Qing was agape. She never thought this would happen. She reached to hold the book and shook it several times but her pill wasn't given back. 
"This is my only pill with a white pattern and I wanted to make some research with it. Though I get that this book needs a white-patterned pill to be accepted or something, but what if I can't make another pill like this? I didn't even know why it has such a colour. All my refinements in the past had the corresponding pattern colour… Ah!"
Her berate was cut off as the black leather book trembled, falling from her hands. A cold air diffused open and something like white mist arose, covering the book's surroundings. An Bing Qing stepped back; she stopped when she saw the mist congregating only within a three meters radius from the book.
Minutes later, the dense white cumulous glittered. She observed it with great interest and all of a sudden it was retrieved back, encompassing only the book. 
She walked forward and the book now seemed to be covered by a thin layer of crystalline ice; it was beautiful. She unconsciously stretched her arm but it melted into the book before she was able to touch it.
"Eh!" She exclaimed a little disappointed. Still, her thoughts shifted to survey the book, 'It doesn't look that different at all. The herbs carved on the cover are the same but…' She bent her body to pick it up and caressed its surface, 'Oh, its smother now and the colour changed a little; from deep black to light black', she blinked as she thought.
After looking here and there, she finally opened the book but she just flipped the pages to have an overview of the contents. 
'Hmh, let's see… there is anatomy, diseases, treatments, mysterious beasts and herbs descriptions and some recipes. So the topics and arrangements are the same with the content being of a higher level. I'm going to pass a great time with this. Heh heh…'
She closed the book and hugged it; what she loved the most was to learn new things. After a while, she came back to earth and the first thing that entered her sight was the pill cauldron, "Huh? Right! I suddenly forgot".
As she neared to it, she saw a little rectangular-shaped prominence beside the pill cauldron, born from the white pedestal. In the middle, there was a circular cavity on its surface; it looked as meant to fit a pill. Her heart sank, 'Oh oh… this is bad, isn't it?' she thought before looking at the book, she shook it again and then turned her head back to see the ground. She said, "I was hoping for the pill to be dropped at some point but it seems I was being delusional with this situation".
She heaved a sigh and pondered for a bit. 
'Well, I still have eight more sets of herbs. If I do the refinement as I previously did, the probability to have another pill with a white pattern would be high, right?' She nodded to herself and first kept the book inside her qiankun bag to not be tempted to read its contents before taking the herbs out along a jade bottle.
She took the bottle and two yellowish pills rolled from it; they were one-earth Energy Restoration Pills and both had a red-coloured pill pattern. If she was to be in the first three gates of Mundane stage, she would have only needed to take one; but once you stepped on the three following gates, the effectiveness dropped to fifty per cent while with the seventh gate, it would only recover a third of your energy.
She saw the pills in ponder, 'What if the pattern turns out to be red. If this place is as picky as the book, I can't even think what would happen'. She sighed and swallowed both pills at once.
As her energy recovered, she relaxed her tired body, twisting it a bit. 
At long last, she clapped her hands and lit her flame to once again warm the pill cauldron.
This time it took her less time; in just twenty minutes or so, the cauldron was ready for her to start refining a green-coloured herb.
She refined all the five herbs in a couple of hours and the merging was taking part now. She was happy about it; it was as though the cauldron was easier to heat and to keep the different temperatures needed. She didn't know why it was so and didn't bother to think about it; but sadly, her elation took part in the pill's forming stage and it was more than she could manage.
"Puff", a puffing sound was quickly heard, followed by a scorching odour.
"Ugh… No, no, no… dammit", she slammed her hands against the white jade pedestal.
She held her head with her hands and after calming her disappointed heart, she heaved a profound sigh. 
"I can only try again", she said while sniggering.
She cleaned the cauldron, wiping out the black dregs. After it, she was about to begin when she heard a knocking sound, 'It must be from outside but if I go out now, will I be able to enter to this place again?' she wondered with furrowed brows.
The knocks became calls and she decided to go out. If this place was as smart as she thought it to be, it will bring her back to this place.
Outside An Bing Qing's room, two young men were whispering between them as the oldest of them called out from time to time.
"Big brother Xiao Ning, why did you suddenly drag me to bring the young miss' meal? The guards were the ones delivering it before", a thin youth clad in black asked confused to the young man holding a tray with food next to him.
"I just feel like it", a handsome young man in his mid-twenties answered with a stern face. He was clad in dark yellow robes with brown suns embroidered on it; he was slim but his complexion was strong, making he look very valiant.
The youth who seemed to be in his early twenties blinked, and a weird thought took form in his mind, he asked, "Then, why didn't you feel like it before when the eldest young master was eating breakfast with the little miss?"
An Xiao Ning who was just calling again, lowered his eyes to look at the youth. He knew what he was thinking and said plainly, "An Xi Ming, you don't overthink things".
The youth grinned, "Big brother, I…"
"What?" An Xi Ming words were cut by An Bing Qing voice, there was an angry tone hidden in it.
The face of An Xiao Ning didn't change as he answered, "We were sent to bring the young miss' meal".
"Oh". She reached for the tray and added, "There won't be need for you to bring food anymore. I'm going to meditate and don't want to be distracted until we arrive. Thank you". She turned around and went back to her room; the door made a loud noise when it closed.
An Xi Ming asked at this sight, "Did we wake her up too early?" He was a little taken aback, though he hadn't had interacted with their young miss before, but he knew she normally addressed herself as –Bing Qing and her tone was milder. He also knew she didn't like to wake up early and that's why her breakfast was at noon; therefore, he couldn't help but ask such a question.
An Xiao Ning didn't reply and only gave to the closed door a second glance before leaving.
"Hey! Big brother Xiao Ning…." An Xi Ming called as he chased after him.

Things have been rewritten and a fallen Phoenix with bounded wings has been reborn between heaven and earth. Can fate be changed? Will it be for the best? Love and grief go hand in hand through the path of a Phoenix. The higher you climb, the harder the path.

The semester results were out. I peeked out the noticeboard. As excepted, i was the department topper. As it was the first year , we aren't aligned class as per our department but, we will be separted by department from this semester. I called my mom but my brother nitin picked it up. I told him my grades and hung up. I also noted asha and riya's mark to inform, both are passed in distinction. I was standing and tried to check dinesh mark so that i moved to boys section. I was scanning for the name but  a hand was passed over me and checking marks by tracing line on paper. I stood standstill holding my breath on place to stop inhaling his perfume, I know its dinesh he is the one who wears watch and bracelet on right hand . He looked little irritated by his marks. He stomped his foot on floor and moved on. I breathed which i holded for sometime.
In curiosity i checked his marks,He had secured second mark in his department, isn't a good mark?. Maybe he would have aimed for first mark, i checked his department to know who secured first. I gasped, we are going to be in same class from this semester.

 i changed a lot. Not only by looks but also in attitude. I was bold than before and matured. But, when i was with my friends, i leave all my brain and follow my heart. I literally, change as a kid when i was with them. So comfort zoned. I dont want to miss them .Time changes everything..Everything changed, except the fire when i see him. However i remind myself not to see him, by knowing or without knowing i peek him two days once. I never miss any football match if he plays, single excuse i made myself.

"I dont want to go that stupid class", asha said by throwing her book. I picked it and sat behind her by placing my arms around.
Riya sat with us.
"me too", she gave us a pout.
"but we will be here after everyday, we gonna be in same hostel room. We sleep together, we bath together, we study together. we can spend the lost time by waking up to midnight", i tried convince.
"but, its not like before", riya frowned and hugged us. We spoke for long time than normal day and slept on each other's lap. 

I couldn't move, felt numb. Heavy weight on my shoulder and lap, i tried to open my eyes. I hardly moved riya and asha and stretched my hands and legs. Accidently, i happened to see the wall clock. Omg, its 7.30. after seeing time, i felt so fresh. We need to be in class in half an hour. I shouted , cried and shook them. but, they didn't respond. Finally, i took a bucket full of water and splashed on them.
"meeeeraaaaa",riya shouted.
"you are such an idiot", asha said.
"ofcourse i am. its 7.30. wake up first", i yelled.
They noticed and moved faster. We took a quick shower and got ready. I took a deep breathe as we entered college. our paths going to be little different from today. We entered our respective classes, promised to meet on lunch and intervals.
Everyone looked new to me, i never seen these people in my college. a girl in blue specs and white shirt smiled at me, as i entered. Her bench is already filled with people so, I smiled and sat in the bench near window. Our new professor entered and started to give the overview about the class he is going to handle. i felt lonely for first time in this college, i diverted myself by sightseeing through window. Suddenly, i felt a jerk on my bench, dinesh sat beside. I know he will be in my class and i mentally prepared. Moreover, i was not in active mind, my mind is sluggish. I looked through the window again.
Professor explained everything and asked us to copy the syllabus as he dictates. Everything is in syllabus book, i dont know why the hell he wants to make us write and to waste time. i pretended to write and tried to understand the topic by name. Dinesh looked at me after sometime and i was aware of the fact. Yet, maintained eye on board. He took my note that i was writing,flipped the last page and  wrote something.
i was little stunned and curious by his act. I grabbed my notebook and opened last page.

   "YOU ARE DIFFERENT", in paris embroidery font style.

This story is about a girl from village and a boy from City. They together come across avrious dilemma, love, romance and problems. How she console her joint family to accept Dinesh and how they faced their hurdles. A beautiful love story ends with a tragedy.

The school is in turmoil after the news spreads. A suicide occurred on the second floor of the main building.

"Hey, did you hear? She was so heartbroken from the rejection of her confession that she commit suicide!"

"Really? Isn't that too shallow?"

"From what I heard, she is too smitten to the guy that is why, she can't accept that the guy he confessed didn't even care!"

"Of course, he wouldn't care! That girl is ugly! She shouldn't have chased on our prince!"

"Prince? You mean he confessed to Takahashi-senpai?! She doesn't deserves it!"

The gossips about the suicide are widespread around the school. I sit alone in the acacia tree located on the hill that overview the whole school. It's been three days since my best friend died from the suicide.

I still remember that scene that broke all the contents and rationality of my mind that time. My best friend, Suzu Akishino is hanging on the 3rd cubicle devoid with emotions except panic and terror. Her face is pale and it was clear that she died from the noose currently attached on her neck. She was hanging on that cubicle for how long do I know.

It made me realize how fragile a human life is. She was my childhood friend, best friend and also my crush. I was planning to confess on her after we graduate high school but that won't be possible anymore. She died before I can do it. 

My name is Futeki Kazehaya. I am a second year high school in Hamaguchi High School. I have a fine black hair that is not short and not long either. They are just your normal haircut. I keep on wearing a black and white scarf around my neck as it was the only item left by my parents after they died. My face doesn't have pimples but its pretty normal looking. You can't really call me handsome or ugly I am not sure why I was called Futeki meaning fearless, its not really a fitting name for me. I was scared sh*tless by the death of Suzu and I can't be considered fearless. Still, I don't want to see her dead face again, whenever I remember that lifeless face of hers, I get the shivers.

But the rumors on her death is not something I wanted to keep on hearing. I am more familiar with my best friend and she won't just commit suicide just for that. She had done lots of confessions to her previous crushes before but they all fail. Still, she did not commit suicide. But what made me wonder is why would she commit suicide. In terms of willpower, she has more on it than me and she doesn't fall to despair easily. But whatever I do, that would be pointless. She is dead, and this rumor is not something I can just clear immediately.

PING PONG PING PONG

The bell for the afternoon classes rings. I sighed and look at the tree one more time. I will not stay here anymore, without my only friend here in school, staying here will just make me remember her face. I sighed and packed all of my things back into my sling bag before trekking down back to the school ground. 

Just on my way back to the classroom, I saw a guy with a blonde hair and model-like posture walking smugly on the hallway, while surrounded by girls. This is the guy who is rumored to be the crush of my best friend, Takumi Nishiki. I can't really find him handsome but he exudes charm which might be the cause why the girls keep on fawning on him. Also, because he is so popular, he is always being favored by the students and teachers alike. Instead of investigating the case on my best friend, they just shrugged it off. If there is someone who hates this guy, it would be me.

However, I don't dare provoke him. Even though I suspect him to say something to Suzu before she died, I am not so sure about it and I don't dare confront him about it. I can be considered as the most unpopular and the most shunned student at school. No student dares to get close to me and nobody cares, in which I was already used on. My only shoulder to support on should be Suzu but after she died, everything collapsed.

I silently passed by from them and silently return to the classroom. My classmates disregard me like I am a nonexistent guy. Well, I don't really care.

I stay collected and bored inside the classroom, wondering what to do. Then my ears perked up when I heard something from the two girls gossiping in front of me.

"Hey, have you heard? When you visit the library at 3 in the evening, you might be able to find a book that will answer your questions once you said it out loudly."

"Really? That sounds intriguing!"

"But it has a catch, you can only ask the present and the past but the future is a huge taboo that you can't ask."

"Why? I was about to ask my future husband."

"I don't know, its the rule that was told by my seniors."

"Its too dangerous and too boring if you can just ask a question about the past and present, we really don't need that."

"Sure enough, but it was considered as one of the seven mysteries of our school."

"Yeesh, the seven mysteries, lets not talk about it, I am getting goosebumps."

...

Their conversation makes me intrigue. A book? Answers questions about the past and present? It seems interesting to find. Now that I am looking for why Suzu commit suicide and since it is considered as past and present, I don't really have problem on it.

The class ended as I keep on thinking about it. I looked around. The students are now getting out of the school but my mind still lingers around that book. I am now more intrigue on it. If it is true, I can find out what is the real truth.

...

"I'm home," I said as I get inside back home. My voice echoes around the house. Even if I said that, no one will say "Welcome Back" to me since it is empty. I put my shoes back to the shoe rack but my mind still wanders around that book. I want to see it with my own eyes and prove that its not just a simple suicide since I know that Suzu won't do that.

I steeled myself. Although I was cowardly, I am not some person who will back away if I had to find out the death of my best friend. And if this supernatural book might help me with it, I am willing to plunge myself to see the truth.

The first thing I do is to check the school forum in the internet. According to the two girls, that book was part of the seven mysteries so if it is really part of the seven mysteries, this thing's information will be posted here.

But to my disappointment, the info is too limited. The info that the girls said is exactly what it was. Nobody dares to know and fill the info more. Many of the people who tried to know it has no further recollection on their experience. Still, I am willing to find it.

"Hey, do you believe in ghosts? If so, have you encountered at least one of the seven mysteries of the school?"

Our school has been standing for decades, and although it was a prestigious one for students, it can't escape the real things hidden in plain sight.

According to the book written by my sister who disappeared a decade ago, something ominous is hiding in the shadows and its not explainable by science. She disappeared after a certain event and she left me her will.

And that is to continue the club where they hunt supernatural activities and phenomena. However, it only has a single member at the moment... and she is a strange one at that!
