This is intended to be a series of short stories about the birth of the universe and the many things in it. 

There is no real chronological order to the chapters, so there's no need to read them in order.

On a white bed, a ten-year-old boy is sitting, his back lying on a pile of soft pillows that support his back so as not to fall.

His body is so fragile and thin it ruptures on anything more than the softest of touches. His hair is wispy broken down to the shoulders.

The boy's face was pale like a tissue, clean yet easily torn. He has just passed his tenth birthday and he was as tiny as a doll, pale with slender limbs. 

A few intravenous cables stuck in his hands. As looked, from his appearance it could be said that he was a patient in this hospital.

And then, despite the sickness, he was reading a book on his hand. More precisely it is a manga book. 

He is reading his most favorite manga, 'Fairy Tail'. However, there were flashes of sadness in both eyes. The manga he read was the last volume of the Fairy Tail manga series, of course, this made him very sad because the things that made his day more meaningful suddenly finished just like that. Moreover, the end of the story was a little not so satisfying for him as he thought there were still many plots that could be developed by the dear mangaka, Hiro Mashima.

Fate is indeed shown no mercy. He is just a child who should live normally and cheerfully with other children out there. Yet, the reality is not as sweet as expected.

Inside this tiny little body, slumber an unknown terrifying disease which makes him only be able to surrender to his fate waiting for his end to arrive.

He was born in one of the most prominent families in his country. His parents had brought famous doctors from all over the world in order to heal their little son. However, their efforts over the years were in vain as the doctors cannot even identify the disease of their child.

On the contrary, the doctors convicted that the life of this child would not live beyond the age of ten.

Thus, the boy decides he will enjoy his remaining lifetime in his own way. He spends his time reading because in the fact reading is his greatest hobby. Especially if what he reads is a novel or manga.

He has read countless novels and manga, and one of them is the Fairy Tail manga. Fairy Tail is his the most favorite manga series, therefore, he is very sad when he receives the last volume of Fairy Tail from his parent.

He sighed deeply as his hand gradually closed the manga he was reading.

"It's time for me too" he lightly laid his body on the bed and hugged his favorite manga on his chest.

It was very painful and tiring. For him during his ten years of life was like an eternal torture. He had held back his strange illness as hard as he could in order to wait to read the final volume of his favorite manga.

Actually, he already felt that his death had arrived yesterday before his tenth birthday, but he did not want to give up because of his abundant love for the Fairy Tail series. He really hopes to be given another day to be able to read the series to the end.

"At least God can still hear" he whispered with his eyes slowly closed as he could feel the light starting to fade and dimmed.

Emily Patterson, a 16-year-old, is just your typical girl. Until, she met a group of people who claim that she is their land's princess. You must annihilate him in front of the crowd that was looking down on our family name and pay back their disrespect a hundred-fold. Only by slowly torturing this child in front of their eyes will they truly understand the difference between heaven and hell." The old servant was trying his best to talk reason into Alex who was at the end of his ability to remain calm.

"Your right, only by humiliating him in front of all of those eyes will I be able to release this frustration. Get the Level 1 Intermediate magic beast ready for tomorrows battle. I want to go with the Five Element Dominator Formation, I will make this kid beg for death before the battle is over. Even after he begs I will continue to torture him until I get bored with it and then and only then will I allow him to die."

Alex was getting lost in his thoughts of earning back his face and more importantly venting his bitterness. Tomorrow he would unleash hell on Aker and as Aker was suffering under his might he would suffer and die to the insidious laughter of Alex.

Aker who walked out of the arena after his battle wasn't concerned at all with Alex's revenge as he already had a whole pit that was trying to see him dead. What was one more person? Could the threat of death from Alex be any more intimidating that the threat he was already under? Will he make him doubly dead if he failed to make it through a battle in the arena? Since that was the case and Alex was already trying to kill him, then why would he not ignore and shame him? Aker had already committed himself to standing up to those that oppress him, his goal every day was to make those people cringe their teeth. Hopefully right now that Alex was seething with anger, as far as Aker was concerned that would be best.

Vance of course spoke with Aker about his new opponent and especially told Aker not to underestimate him. Vance was clear to strenuously emphasize that someone of Alex's background couldn't be measured by the same standards that he had been used to.

Of course Aker understood what Vance was trying to say, and of course he realized that Alex would be a difficult opponent and he definitely wouldn't underestimate him, but Aker was left with only one thought, so what? The only way to placate Alex was for him to give up his life, since that wasn't an option then there was no room to negotiate. In truth Aker understood from the announcer that his battles would get more and more difficult much quicker than they had based on the structure and format of the battles against Alex.

As soon as Aker heard the announcer speak and the crowd talking, he realized quickly that he had only one option if he wanted to survive through his battles with Alex. The only option Aker had was to mock and humiliate Alex and use that to try to draw him into the ring.

As long as Alex was on the sidelines directing the magic beasts, he would never have an opportunity to take this opponent down. Since that was the case, Alex could continue to train ever increasingly more difficult magic beast in greater and greater numbers until Aker was simply overwhelmed. Right now, unless the script was changed Aker was playing the part of the defeated hero. He had to force Alex into the ring for a battle with him, there was no other choice.

To that end Aker would taunt and coax Alex hoping that Alex would lose his temper and enter.

Vance continued to guide and direct Aker explaining how certain formations worked. Aker was already versed in some of the formations and was familiar with the specific formation that Alex had tried to use. A few months back Aker had asked Vance to bring in different kinds of books besides the medical, cooking and blacksmithing books he had been reading, so Vance had begun bringing in stacks of books every day. 

Aker who would read ten to twenty books a day had read a rather interesting book series on battle strategies called Knowing When to Move Forward, Knowing When to Withdraw which went through several hundred different types of battle formations. These formations covered everything from guerilla warfare to commanding millions. It reviewed in depth historical battles fought across countries on a single planet to multiple planet destroying battles fought across multiple galaxies.

The series was made up of thirty-two books of which Aker had the opportunity to read twenty-four of them. He had asked about the remaining eight, but Vance explained that you had to attend one of the Emperor's Academies to read the last eight. Fortunately, the Lightning Bullet formation was included in the books he read along with best practice uses of it as well as several different countermeasures. 

Instantly when Aker saw that all of the magic beast lined up were wind element types he knew it could only be one of about a dozen different formations. As soon as he saw them get in the four by four formation and start coming in waves it left only the Lightning Bullet. When facing the Lightning Bullet, it was imperative that you didn't turn your back and run as that was playing into the strength of that formation. In the case of this formation, the action that seemed most counter intuitive was actually the right recourse, and that was to hold your ground and attack it from the front. If you could dismantle the first wave all the subsequent waves would be interrupted therefore putting a kibosh on it.

of course, everything sounds fantastic in theory, in practical application you have to be a strong enough force to stand up to the beast waves. Fortunately for Aker and unfortunately for Alex they were using Level 1 Basic beast for this formation. Had this been Level 1 Intermediate magic beast Aker may not have been strong enough to stand his ground against them, it could have gone either way in those circumstances. 

Thankfully Aker had already advanced to the 8th Level of the Peerless Body about a month ago and in doing so he improved all his skills this time and not just the Comprehension and Mana. He did still manage to increase his Comprehension and mana by one point each and with the reaming six points he evenly distributed them between his remaining three skills.

Aker sat in his cell on his beast blood stain while reading his book and absorbing nature particles. When Aker first started this exercise, he was incapable of pulling nature particles towards himself. He slowly trained starting from that point he had to be solely focused on absorbing to now being able to absorb nature particles while reading the books that Vance brought. If he solely focused on absorbing nature particles, he naturally could absorb them faster, however he had determined that there was no benefit to it and it could even hurt him.

First, his body was not capable of absorbing the nature particles any faster than his current rate. When he focuses on drawing in the nature particles as fast as he can it becomes to much for his Venas and his bones and blood cannot absorb it creating a type of backlog within his Venas. He couldn't explain it, but he felt that if he tried forcing it he could damage his Venas or his Body Conditioning, at least that's what his instincts were telling him. It gave him the impression that if he was to damage his Venas or his Body Conditioning now that it could have long lasting effects.

Secondly, Aker wanted to accumulate knowledge about the world he was in. He had been ripped from his home, was on a distant planet and it had been two years and he had never seen anything apart from his cell, the foyer and the arena. It wasn't until recently that he learned which planet he was on, Malidan in the Methenin System. After reading in the books that Vance brought, he learned that the Methenin System was part of the Eastern Universe and it was at the border edge of the known Universe. Unsurprisingly the universe was broken up into five quadrants, North, East, South, West and Central. 

He had read that even though some communication was possible between the different quadrants it was already nearly impossible to go from one quadrant to another due to the massive distance. One of the big benefits of reading about the universe was he was now fairly certain that his home planet had to be in the Eastern Universe somewhere in the outer edge of the universe....in other words from these peoples perspective it wasn't that far, which Aker found as exciting news. When he had read that on the first day, he couldn't fall asleep that night, somehow finally understanding where he was gave him a sense of relief.

It wasn't just the books about the Universe and planets that Aker would read. He also read books about different types of beast and their weaknesses and strengths, philosophy, science and technology especially magic engineering, pill concocting and alchemy, magic formations, and everything else that Vance brought.

The fact that he could absorb nature particles while reading for Aker was the greatest advantage, and he wasn't even interested in trying to figure out how to increase the rate of absorption for now. For Aker he found it humorous that he looked forward to his reading time each day since before he was brought here even when his mom threatened him, he wouldn't read. He wasn't sure what it was that changed his opinion of reading to such a degree, but he was grateful for it.

As Aker sat absorbing nature particles, he was especially enamored with a book on pill concocting and alchemy he was just finishing up. He was reading the introduction book for this series and was reaching for the second book in the series and wasn't paying attention as his hand reached out to pick it up, his eyes glued to his book. 

In the process of picking it up his hand slipped and using his amazingly fast reflexes went to grab the falling book in the air which he did easily, however, that wasn't the part that caught Aker's attention, instantly freezing him in place.

The part that caught Aker's attention was that as he moved his hand quickly to reach for the falling book all the nature particles that were near his hand followed motion with him.

Stunned! There was no other word to describe his current mindset. For others they may not understand what this meant, but for Aker who had been reading every type of book he could get his hands he was in disbelief and doubt because his magic fighter level was nowhere close to where it needed to be in order to move nature particles.

Aker already understood being able to sit and absorb nature particles was already outrages and preposterous and without this capability he would be struggling to run around and try and absorb nature particles via contact, so he was already tremendously pleased with his current situation.

Even when breaking through the Source Core, magic fighters were not able to influence the actual particles, they could merely exhibit magic via using themselves as a medium in conjunction with their Source Core. It wasn't until a magic fighter was touching the boundary of the Nature Core that they could use the magic particles directly and even then, it was narrowly limited.

Aker couldn't use these nature particles for the purposes of fighting because he didn't have his Nature's Core which was required to manipulate them for battle, so he wasn't excited about that. No, what had Aker exhilarated about being able to manipulate and move nature particles would be the ability for pill concocting and alchemy as well as magic cooking and magic blacksmithing. 

A Source Core magic fighter could make magic weapons, concoct pills, and do magic cooking but they were acutely limited based on the size of their Source Core. In order to create magic weapons, food, pills and anything else that required nature particles the magic fighter would have to inject already absorbed nature particles into what they were creating utilizing their Source Core. A magic blacksmith who wanted to make a magic sword might have to use weeks to create the sword as he would have to use his own limited Source Core to create it. 

It wasn't possible to have multiple blacksmiths inject into the same weapon as their nature particles were changed when absorbed by the magic fighter and would not be compatible with another. This is the reason that despite the high demand for pills, potions, weapons, and even food there was severely limited quantities. 

Aker was beside himself with excitement as he lifted his hand up, his eyes completely hypnotized by the movement of his own hand; he was open-eyed engrossed in what he was doing next. With a 'swoosh' his hand moved and the particles around his hand followed suite. He moved his hand sideways, up, and around in circles as he concentrated on having the nature particles move with his hand. Initially it had happened by accident but now he found that it took his full mental focus.

"Hahahaha.....It's working, it's working...They're really following my hand!" Aker exclaimed as he lost control of himself his voice carried out of his cell and into the prison.

"Shut up, were trying to sleep" came an angry and pissed off voice. 

"You shut up, don't talk to Dr. Little Life like that!"

"Ya, let me catch you in the ring, I'll make it so even Dr. Little Life can't fix you."

"Would you just shut up, I have a battle in a couple of hours, and I need to sleep."

The yelling of the cells started and cascaded through the whole of the prison as the prisoners were getting angry at each other for yelling. Finally after tens of minutes, just as it was about to calm down another yell broke out from Aker's cell "Hahahahaha....It's still working...I can't believe it's still working!" which started the yelling of the prisoners again.

Aker who was oblivious to all of this was still caught in a euphoric jubilation that would make for a long night for everyone in The Pit.

POSITIVE REVIEW :

Lots of poor reviews for this series, you'll notice they haven't read much of it. There's a reason for that, the story starts slower and quickly picks up.
The MC is reincarnated to just before the game God's Domain is released, after being betrayed and losing everything. He has tons of prior knowledge to back him up, and 10 years of experience playing the game. He's super strong, but I don't think OP is the right way to describe it.
The MC isn't 'Over Powered', how on earth could you have 10 years of experience playing a game, be the leader of a huge guild, and dedicate your life to learning the game and all it's secrets inside and out and not be strong? The MC is strong because of his hard work, insane effort, and countless failures. The MC gets tons of great and rare drops, but the author very clearly explains it all. The MC does hidden and unique quests, things he knows about from his 10 years of experience, and gets the crazy rewards from them. The MC kills monsters much stronger than himself, and gets the first kill, which nets him great gear. Every advantage the MC has stems from his hard work, effort, and the countless hours he spent researching the game in his past life. Nothing he gets is unearned or random.
I promise you, if you keep reading, all the points any negative review I've read have brought up will be resolved. You don't like how quiet and reserved he is at the beginning? Keep reading, that changes in a mighty way. I cannot stress enough how awesome the series is, and how much I recommend it. Keep in mind, though, that in the beginning the MC hasn't done much, and he comes from 10 years in the future, so he knows a LOT and appears super powerful, things don't always go as planned though. As the story goes on, things get further from what the MC remembers, so no need to worry about it being boring.
TLDR; I can't recommend the story enough, just keep reading if you run into things you don't like they'll clear themselves up quickly. The author has a clear and well thought out road for the story and because of that everything fits together like an intricate puzzle. The only problem I have with the series is how many hours of sleep I've lost because I couldn't stop reading!

Cons:
1. MC keeps getting rare drops left and right despite the very small chance of 10000 to 1 of dropping them.
2. Zhao Yueru
3. The author has something against women. Every other chapter there will be some random girls who want to sell their bodies to the MC or some other guys so they can be carried. This is a freaking game ffs! Also literally every woman in this novel wants to warm the MC's bed.
4. Too many lucky encounters. Every single one of them could make the MC OP to be famous for 10 years.
5. Despite being way too OP, he still almost died to a lower level assassin with much much worse gears, and only managed to win due to yet another heaven defying item of his.
6. Too many random ass skills. Every single one of them is "omg I can't believe some fool is selling this super extremely rare skill!1!".
7. Zhao Yueru.
8. It was a long time since I started this novel to try and start something but in the end I just felt immense disappointment for the result.

Soon school exams started to pile up like right now and I just completely dropped this book.

For those that are still reading this book, I thank you for your dedication to read broken English.

In the synopsis I did mention that this was a connected novel in a series.

So here's the good news.

I try to make any short stories connected to my main novel (this book).

In the end I wrote an entry for a Halloween Discord Competition that made me accidentally won (The link is in the author's thoughts)

For the past few months that I haven't been writing, I instead focused on creating an outline for other novels that were connected to this.

In order to do that I tried to dabble in philosophy and religion which my head just couldn't cope.

I finally gathered my resolve to finally start writing seriously again and so I started 8 Lives of Sins.

Essentially it's about a person who is the reincarnation of 7 serious sins in Christianity that now has to kill an entity of 7 Virtues.

Tasked with this, the person questions his life and at the very end I will write about a surprising character that walks into their fight.

The protagonist, Kaito discards his last name to embrace a new life and rid of the misfortune he has cause. 4 unfortunate deaths surround him just for living. With the whisper of a clown and the teachings of his master this could have been avoided, so why did you kept quiet?

With the death of his master he rejects his humanity with the alluring voice of the Pierrot "Receive power at the cost of mortality" "is it your humanity that refuses to accept?" "Take it". The laughter of insanity, chuckle of madness and the echo of a lunatic.

Before you read this, I would like for you all to know that if you would like to see my inspiration for the setting, way of writing, and the terminology, go ahead and read Tsutomu Satou's light novel series, Irregular at Magic High School. The beginning of this novel is very similar his, but obviously the whole novel will not be using Tsutomu's writing and choreography as a guideline. 
So please go ahead and immerse yourself in his reading.

About two hours prior to the school's ceremony, a freshman gazed up at the complex with a gaze consisting of enigmatic components. In front of the auditorium where the ceremony would soon take place, the young man said nothing.

His uniform was at first glance quite fashionable for a school. In fact, it could be said that the design was intricate.
On the contrary, this was far from the case. 

It was not a matter of design in terms of gender-corresponding apparel compared to the small group of girls in the distance, who were walking in the direction of the auditorium, but the details that were missing on his attire. 

It would only make sense to have the school's emblem imbedded in the uniform of the students. Yet, the image of a black widow was not present in the freshman's empty space on his blazer. 

A conversation played back in his head. It wasn't as if the exchange of words affected his mindset, but it was definitely connected to his current situation.

"You can't be serious, Vyrin! There's no way you-!"
"Look, I'm surprised I made it into the institution at all... I'm also surprised how you managed to figure out my situation but I won't even begin to ask about that."

The words flowing through his head were the words of a yelling female and himself, who seemed to be attempting to calming the former down. Judging from the attitude, it was safe to assume that the female had a strong relation with the young man, although pushing it as far as "girlfriend" or "lover" was pretty excessive.

"Vyrin, your knowledge about Filo is as deep as a fucking textbook... How in the *world* did you land in Class E?! Here you landed in the prime spot so how-?"
"It's an academy focused on Puppeteering skills," the freshman's voice pointed out in his own thoughts. "Variant Filo Puppeteers aren't a decisive component in such a space."
"... But the gap between you and the others in every aspect I can think of is immense! If we're taking Puppeteering into account then even so-!"

His thoughts dispersed. 
The thought of attending a "school" was a misleading use of terminology. It was such a casual word that even the freshman standing before the institution mistakingly used the carefree word "school" to describe his new educational center. 

The female in his head obviously cared deeply for the young man, however the latter seemed to lack the capability to care. On the other hand, in a contradicting fashion, the way he spoke was that of a person who was aware of the other's feelings and wished to acknowledge them.
His appearance was indeed striking, however his presence implied that he was nothing more than an average young man with no "exceptional" qualities.

Excluding his erect posture and sharp, slicing eyes, he wasn't exactly the most flashy and attractive male.

Besides, there was only one reason why the freshman was losing himself in his thoughts.

'What should I do until the ceremony?' he thought as he heaved a sigh.

If there was one thing that the freshman could declare that he had full confidence in stating, it was perception. Or, more specifically, his analytical nature. 

In moments he was able to dissect the complex of the academy: the main building, the practice building, and the experiment building. 
Just by the locations, shapes, and sizes of the constructs, the young man was able to memorize almost the entire layout of the academy before even entering, although the email he received did label some features of the buildings.

»An auditorium|gymnasium whose internal arrangements can be altered with transformation machinery; a reading center with four levels above ground and three levels below; two small gymnasiums; a composition building containing a changing room, shower room, an equipment-storage room, and club rooms; the mess hall, the cafeteria, and the attainment department were in another construct; for the icing on the cake, numerous large, and small, annexes placed made the academy appear to be more of a megaversity than a mere "academy".«

It should be noted that the only reason as to why the academy wasn't made into a megaversity in the first place was simply because it was big enough as it was for the current Puppeteer population.

Due to the ID cards being handed out following the ceremony, it wasn't like the wandering freshman could access any other portions of the complex. In other words, he had to search for something to kill time, namely sit down and relax.

Visitors couldn't go to the open café today in an effort to evade a chaotic scene.

The bricks under his shoes stood firm under his weight and the sun bathed the world around him in light. 

Proceeding to walk around for a couple minutes, using the portable console for navigation in order to fully memorize the complex before trusting himself, the young man spotted a series of benches resting in the shade of an overhang which was partially covered in leaves, surrounded by trees. The way it was set up, it was almost impossible to miss it, yet no individuals seemed to be sitting there.

'Perfect weather... Hopefully it keeps up,' the young man faintly thought. After sitting on one of the four-men benches, he opened up the weather portal and scrolled through the various passages.

'So this is part of a courtyard... which seems to be a shortcut from the composition building to the auditorium,' he couldn't help but point out.

"Whoa, it's a Class E student," a whisper sounded from a passing student's back. Unfortunately, more ill-will followed.

"Yeah... Wonder why a Vestigial is already here."
"Dunno. I mean, he's nothing but a leftover."

Unwanted words trickled into the young man's ears.

"Vestigials" were the referred students in the academy that scored in Class C-3 or lower. The term "vestigial" was referred to as an unimportant component in one's body due to evolution. Eventually, the word converted to describe a useless, unimportant individual in the academies.

Class E students were given even less respect. Not only that, but Class E students didn't even have the designated space for the emblem to go on, as well as a lack of design in the back of their collar, so picking them out was a piece of cake. 

"Vitals" were the referred students in the academy that scored higher than Class C-3, all the way up to Class S-1. As expected, the term for "vitals" didn't change, still describing an important component in pretty much anything. 

It was clear how big the gap of respect was between the two collective bodies of people.

The set standard for freshmen at the academy was 300; quite a low number even compared to the average high schools in the country. 

Half of them were students in Class C-3 and below. If another student were to transfer and have the capability of Class C-2, however were near the bottom of the scorers above Class C-3, then they were turned away and given a spot for next year. 

This explained why the young man was 16 years old, yet was a freshman in the fine institution.

Because of the academy's status as a Domestic Megaversity of Puppeteering-affiliated institution, the exchange of granted budget from the country and the definitiveness of results from the academy was an obligation. 

The sole purpose for the academy to be established under national policy was for nurturing Puppeteers. No less.

Every year, more than 140 students graduate and go on to either the Domestic Megaversity of Puppeteering, or enroll in Puppeteering Application Establishment of Specialized Elite Training. 

Becoming a Puppeteer was not a simple order. If one were to have a single unfortunate accident, a conclusion ending with something exponentially beyond a "minor issue" could occur. It was needless to say that this involved the Puppeteer's own life.
By sacrificing everything and pouring one's life into their training; this was what it meant to become a Puppeteer. 

The very psychological structure of a Puppeteer could be permanently impaired by these accidents. Through intensive learning and basic trainings, these fatal, severe mistakes have been mostly neutralized. 

That didn't mean that accidents involving Puppeteering and making the Puppeteer drop out due to circumstances was small, either. 

Albeit considered "useless", the Classes C-3 and below were made to fill them in. 
After all, all the country needed were results. If by enhancing low-class students even just enough, the requisite would be considered cleared.

These classes could use all of the same facilities as the upper classes could; all of the buildings, technologies, and equipment was entirely free for the lower classes to use.

The catch?

The lower classes, "Vestigials", did not receive any personal instruction in practical Puppeteering skills. 
One must show results through their own works.
Even if this was the case, if they could not graduate from a Puppeteering academy, then advancing to the Domestic Megaversity of Puppeteering was an impossibility, and they would have to graduate from a normal high school.

Of course, this was expected by the lower class students. If given the privilege to even become a vestigial asset in a Puppeteering academy, they were informed that personal teachings were not to be given, and under that condition, must graduate the academy in order to pursue the way of Puppeteering. 
The quantity of Puppeteering instructors was inadequate, so it was only expected for the higher classes to receive the aid of experienced Puppeteers.

Still, despite all this, it was forbidden to refer to the lower class students as "Vestigials" and the higher class students as "Vitals".

Contradicting the point of forbidding it in the first place, the terms were etched into the students' heads, especially the lower class students. 
Nobody knew who was discriminated the most except for the discriminated themselves.
The lower classes knew this. 

This included the freshman currently looking at the weather on his portable console.

'You make it sound like I didn't already know that,' he thought indifferently, reading the predicted future weather conditions on his console.

In the futuristic setting of 2709, the young man with the unique name of ‘Vyrin’ has just began to attend one of the two most prestigious institutions in the United States: the Partnered Puppeteering Academy of the Eastern Gate.

Times have changed: the United States was compacted into two Gates: the Western and the Eastern, with urbanization taking over even the previously barren lands of the mountains in the far west.
