Three men clad in armor came through the glowing sphere and stated to swing their swords, but with  some difficulty  the soldiers under Captain Jonathan Meyer dodged their swings. The first shot was fired by a private who was cornered by a horseman and his shot killed the horse. Soon, two other shots rang out and all hit the horses save for one horseman who was shot in the shoulder.

Seeing that they were outmatched, the armored men began to run back to the sphere. Captain Jonathan's men were about to fire but he ordered them all to stand down and secure the remaining rider who was shot. Medics with stretchers immediately carried away the wounded man and captain Jonathan was called in by his superiors for a briefing.

"Okay captain, why did you stop your men from shooting at the remaining hostiles?" The colonel who was debriefing him asked.

He was already nearing the end of his questions. The what, when and who of the engagement were already covered, now his superiors are curious about his decisions about not ordering his men to open fire on the remaining hostiles.

"Sir, I halted my men from taking down the two remaining hostiles as to not cause an issue between out government and whoever may have sent them."

"But why weren't they captured by your men?"

"Sir, there was an attempt to subdue them but my men were overpowered by the hostiles and were thrown back by them as they fled after a couple of attempts by my men."

The major nodded, satisfied by the captain's answer. "Good work out there son, you are dismissed."

The captain and the colonel stood up and saluted each other. After Jonathan had left he decided to visit the captured horseman that was currently in the medical ward. Last he heard, the injured horseman was needed to be placed under sedatives in order to keep him from going berserk with the electrodes attached to him.

As he entered the medical ward that was now guarded by two soldiers he saw the figure ofthe horseman laying down on the medical bed with eye's alert.

As he walked closer, he noticed that he was now actually restrained and not sedated anymore and is fully alert upon seeing him. The man spat out words from his mouth that the captain couldn't understand, the captain stayed there and observed him for a few more moments before heading back to his barracks.

1615 Hours, The Pentagon.

After the news of three horsemen attacking US personnel reached the high echelons of the government an emergency meeting was called in by the president to discuss the next course of action.

President Darin Hale addressed the men and women that make up the government's military and some of the science wing and began the meeting from a screen directly connected to the white house.

"Ladies and gentlemen, as you all have recently been informed we might've opened a parallel path-way to another dimension different from out own."

The room was filled with affirmatives and nodding heads as the president continued to address them.

"We have recently confirmed that this is true, with the arrival of three hostile horsemen on ground-zero. They began to attack US personnel but were quickly subdued."

A middle-aged woman raised her hand and the president nodded to her.

"Mr.President sir, the science division has successfully been able to expand the now dubbed "sphere" and further research is on the way."

The president gave his thanks as another advisor, in a military uniform raised his hands and voiced his own opinion.

"Sir, we should secure a foothold on whatever is through the sphere, as it is been confirmed that the natives on the other side may be hostile. We have prepared the 1st Special Exploration Division consisting of the 6th infantry regiment that was stationed at the sphere and the 11th ACR."

The president thought about this for a while before finally coming into conclusion that it would benefit both the science and military division of the government to press into the new world.

"Thank you ladies and gentlemen, I have reached the conclusion that we must secure and explore the world on the other side of the sphere with the 1st special exploration division in order to learn more about it and the potential benefits it may have for us. Any objections?"

The room was silent and only nods were seen.

"Good, we shall now conclude this meeting." The president and the men and women in the room bid each other a good day and concluded the meeting.

A day later.

"A new division with the 11th ACR?" Jonathan asked after hearing the news from his superior officer in the briefing room.

"Yes captain Meyer, we are going to be the 1st special exploration division that is to be sent through the sphere."

Truth be told, if it wasn't for the fact that the US has a citizen stranded through the sphere a presence of an entire division would be an overkill. But the US does have a stranded citizen and a whole new world of opportunities to explore so a division was deemed to be necessary."

"No complaints there sir, it's just that... we're really going in to whatever is through the sphere aren't we?"

"That's right captain, and a team of scientists are currently expanding the sphere to fit in a tank as we speak."

The Abrams are always a welcome support for the infantry, although they are called "Crunchy" by the tankers the value of a tank in a battle is invaluable.

The meeting in the briefing room was concluded, and the respective officers returned to inform their lieutenants about the news which in turn will inform the sergeants that will inform the corporals and privates.

"Top-to bottom is the way to go." He thought as he opened the door to his company's barracks.

The USA opens accidentaly opens a portal to another world!

After an experiment conducted at the Nevada desert forced the fabrics of parallel-dimensions to collide, it opened up a whole new world of opportunities to the US to explore and, possibly, exploit. Carefully hiding it from public knowledge the US government forms the Special Exploration Division  to secure a foothold in the new world.

It had been about half a month since he had started to attend this high school. He had transferred to this school for studying the 11th and 12th grades in 'Science' stream. ( Author's note : Here in Nepal, most schools are till grade 10 after that we transfer schools. Also we have to choose streams of education such as Arts or Commerce or Science.)

The second period just ended. Shuvam was feeling thirsty, so he decided to go to drink water. The water tap was just a few metres away from his class. He alone went there. He had just started walking when he saw her. She was wearing white pants, white shoes and a blue top. It may sound comical but he felt like time was moving slowly. His skipped a beat when he first saw her and he kept staring. He was walking forward while staring at her as her smile was too captivating. She was with her friends while smiling and they walked past each other.

He felt like he needed to get a second look at her face or he'd regret it later on. He looked back and saw her. She was looking at him. After noticing each other gazes, Shuvam went to the tap whereas she turned her head away and chatted with her friends.

Shuvam was crying in his heart. ' Why did I have to stare ? ',he thought as he disdained himself. But he couldn't help it but look at her direction again. Earlier when she looked away with the emotionless face, he felt his heart ache. ' She probably thinks I am a weirdo. Damn it she disdains me. ', he thought.

His heart skipped a beat. He remembered the day he saw her for the first time. After that, he used to see her sometimes but every time he saw her, his heart would start beating rapidly but soon after sadness would fill his heart. ' She is out my league. ', he thought. Every time he saw her he would get sad by thinking the same thing over and over again. So, he naturally wanted to do his best to avoid her.

He thought he wasn't good enough. He was not handsome but he was not ugly either. He didn't have a disgusting personality  but he was a bit fat. He didnt have a bulging stomach and he knew that he looked rather fat due to his stature but he still thought he was fat.He had matured early and had a big stature. He was fat since young days so he didn't have that high of a morale and his morale would drop to its lowest every time he saw how perfect this girl was. He had done some gym during 11th grade and slimmed down considerably but he was once again getting fat. So he naturally considered himself a failure and a fatso.

Her name was pallavi. She was in an another section. So were his friends jasmine and sneha, he knew these two girls from middle school. These were pretty much the only girls he was good friends with.

Pallavi had decided to go together with their group because of jasmine. Jasmine and her were in the same section after all. They started to walk together and of course their jokes never stopped. His friends, Ajay and Bikash were the only guys who went to the same high school as him. The other three had chosen ' commerce ' stream and attended a different high school.

The three of them were joking about how they would be successful and employ the other. Shuvam got a call. It was from unknown number. He answered the call and a girl said," Excuse me, is this Mr. Shuvam ? "

" Yes, speaking. "

" Sir, it has already been two days since your debit card arrived but you haven't picked it up yet. "

" Oh, sorry. I had forgotten because of the exams  and stuff. I will come pick it up later on. "

" Okay. Thank you, sir. That'd be all. "

The girl was kind of shocked. She naturally knew that one needed to have about NRs 50,000 in their account in order to get a debit card. But she didn't know that the card holder was this young. After all, if he said exams then he must be one of the 12th grade guys whose exams are going to finish today.

His friends were looking at him funny because he spoke pretty formally and all. He naturally ignored their gazes and kept walking.

" Hey guys, I am throwing a party today. Come to the GRV restaurant later at 4pm. ", Shuvam said.

His friends were stunned. They were wondering why this introverted friend of theirs throwing a party all of a sudden.

" I will explain in the evening. Just come. Its my treat after all. You guys just have to come and eat. "

" OK. ", the two guys and girls spoke in unison.

" Pallavi, you come too. ", Shuvam said. After all it would be weird to invite everybody present but her. So even though he tried his best to avoid he ended up inviting her.

" OK. ", she said with an expressionless face and looked away.

' This girl. Is looking away the means to tell me that she is not interested in coming? ',he thought. ' She probably won't come. ', he thought and sighed in disappointment

Everyone went their ways one by one. Shuvam reached home and sank into his bed. It was 10:35 am right now. He immediately fell asleep. He was woken up at 1:15 pm by his brother. They had lunch in the dining hall. He came back to his room and called his other three friends. Their names were Bijay, Hari and Karan. He called them and told them about the party.

He went to the living room and watched TV for a bit. When clock hit 2:30 pm, he got ready. He wore his white T-shirt, black pants and white converse. He took his mom's scooter and went to the bank. He went there to pick up his debit card. He asked at the reception and quickly found his card. The lady who talked to him on the phone was the one who was responsible for providing him the card. She told him that this debit card could be used in internet transactions, foreign countries and as an ATM.

He wanted to withdraw some money so he went to the bank's ATM machine and withdrew 10 thousand. He topped up both his sim cards for NRs 500 each using the bank app on his phone. He then went to a clothing store and bought a k leather bag with ' BTS ' written on it. It cost him NRs 1800. He didn't waste his time by bargaining. He knew that he could get it for cheaper but so what he was a millionaire right now. Who would care about a few hundreds ?

He was feeling uneasy while putting the card in his pants pockets  and he didn't like using wallets so he bought a bag instead. He put his mobile phone and his debit card into his bag and went to the GRV.

GRV was one of the most famous restaurants for the younger generation to throw any party. It was still 3:30 and of course he was the first one to arrive. The server asked how many people were going to join him. After that there would be around 10 people, the server led Shuvam into a room which had room for around 12-13 people. Shuvam knew that there was still some time, so he ordered a hookah and some juice. He called his friends saying he was at the hotel and they should rush over as soon as possible.

He was smoking hookah and reading novels in qidian when pallavi came inside the room. She was led in by the server. Shuvam's heart skipped a beat. He almost went over to hug her but he controlled his impulse to do so and also controlled his over excited expression. " You came. ", he said excitedly. Even though he had steeled his heart for the disappointment he would suffer after seeing that she wouldn't come. She came. She actually came.

" Of course. Didn't you invite me ? ", she said while looking away.

" Yes. ", he said and controlled his still excited expression.
They didn't talk any more and just sat in their seats. It was getting awkward so pallavi took the initiative to talk.

" Let me smoke some too. ",she said while pointing at the hookah.

" No. ", Shuvam said with an unhappy expression.

" Why? " she was unhappy about his attitude.

" Because I don't want you smoking this shit. Its not healthy for your body. ", he said with a firm tone while letting out puffs of smoke from his mouth.

' This guy… ' She was a bit angry and him for saying it harms the body while taking in large amounts of the smoke himself but she felt warm inside.

" Why care about me ? Just let me smoke. "

He knew that he would be going to Kathmandu after a few days and there was no saying when he would return, so he decided to tell her oow he felt about her. It was like  he was on drugs. He felt that if he didn't tell her now he would never be able to tell her. He didn't want to regret it later on, so he went ahead and said it.

" Be..Because I..I..I like you. ", he said while stuttering.

6th June 2014

Second day of school is begin. Firstly when I entered the school, I feel like that I came to this place after 100 years as I feel so happy to meet my friends and making new mischief. This time entering school is very different from before. As this time I feel that I am big now. As the weight of my bad is now three times than before. All subjects got their
big - big textbook which make bag so heavier. Before that in previous standard one book consist four main subject. So it is easy to carry. As with passing standard, School bags is becoming heavier. I entered my new class by asking peon for the way to it. The class is empty as I am late to school and all my friends were gone to prayer hall for morning prayer. I speedily entered in my class and put my bag on first table and speedily gone to prayer hall.

     Today's day is like bad day for me as the day is getting bittier by passing time.

       As a passing upstairs to go to prayer hall the another shock is waiting for me. The two sir which are like demons for me catch me and make me sit with other students who are also late to school. After completing prayer Section-Principal come and start shouting on us. I feel relaxed as this time the principal was changed due to coming in 6th Std and in our school 1st to 5th and 6th to 10th principal are different. If the principal was same as earlier, they asked me to leave the school immediately with bag as to becoming late to school become daily routine for me. After listening principal's words which was no fruit ful for me,I entered my class which was covered with all.
      
      As I entered and searching my bag I couldn't found it. And all the students are unknown for me. Sooner I realised that I entered different class so I fastly take my bag which was lying downside and go to my classroom which I found by asking teacher. My place was booked by my friends but I didn't like it as it was second bench and I like to sit on third, fourth and last bench. My friends warmly welcome me. My friends which on my bench were - (1)Nigam - which I meet last year and we become friends. We don't meet but Nigam beat friend Arya went to Australia and my best friend Yash went to Jaipur, We both lost our best friend so we become friends for each other. (2)Him - Friend which was mad in a football. This time there was addition of one friend -  Sahil which was doing his 6th Std again. My friends list -  Guatam , Urva , Sujan , Nigam , Sahil , Yash , yug , divy , deep , bhavya , renish , Harshil , Abdul Hafiz etc. I have many friends which are girls but I not mention in it. Our class teacher was  Hardik sir which was teaching us social studies which was biggest text book of 6th standard. My teachers were - (1)Hardik sir this teacher was new for us. For me, their face is like south-Indian. They always speak English nicely. The chemistry between me and them is like tom and Jerry. I never done their subject homework. One day they arranged election for class monitor for class by asking students for raising hands for their representative. I won that election as maximum student raised hand for me. (2)kaushal sir this teacher was teaching us maths. This teacher was funny and I learned one new concept from them - AW afterwards the sir do most of Problems AW means not useful (3) Bhaswati mam which teach is Science (4) Vartika mam teach is English and was longest teacher (5) Chintan sir teach us Gujarati. This sir closed all doors and windows switch off fans when they listen a poem of the syllabus in their mobile. Due to low sound of their mobile they closed doors and windows which make all the students frustrated. (6) Satyam sir teaches us Hindi and Sanskrit. For them their voice is like lata mangeshkar but for us their voice is like barking dogs. They sing all peoms of Hindi and Sanskrit which make the class situation like nobita listening gyaan song. Sanskrit is new for us and learning Sanskrit is hard task for us and very funny for us. Aham ganchami like words make us laugh. (7) Krunal sir which teaches us drawing. This teacher beat me maximum time as when they beat me I laughed. Maximum time I laughed was in drawing period which was funniest period for us if you don't agree then asked Nigam he also agree it. 

      Every teacher and student have their own speciality which I explained you afterwards as if I explained you afterwards as if I explained you all then this become too lengthy.

        Hardik sir was our temporary class teacher as they were class teacher of another class also. Bhaswati ma'am become our new class teacher which was also new for this school. They teach us Grammer and science. They was very strict and at the same time was very funny also. Every Thursday they arranged many competition like hairstyle competition,  color dress pattern etc and announced winner from us. I liked their way of speaking and their way of seeing world was very different. For me their favorite student was Urva and that appoint him as a monitor and retired me from monitor 😔😔. 

     My 6th standard passed with beautiful moments and I entered 7th standard. Our class teacher changed and Kaushal sir become our new class teacher. Vartika mam who taught us English left the school and gunjan sir was appointed as new English teacher. I liked their way of revision. Thay always wear only two pair of shirts which make a funny topic for is to laughed. We students decide to give them a pair of shirts in a teacher day but our dream become false as in Saturday the sir wear new shirt which make us  shocked. Sorry it is wrong to make fun of teacher but we are innocent so let's do it. So let's changed topic. Bhaswati mam take leave from school and new teacher Meeksha ma'am teaches us science . For me they have no knowledge of science and for them they realised that they make us stupid but we not made stupid as we thought that let's ma'am become happy by it. So we don't react on it. 

    The time was going speedily. We passed 7th Std and came in 8th. By passing standard ,Many friends came and go but Nigam become my best friend for me from friend and our group of best friends was also joined my yug, sujan and sahil. Yug was my class bench partner of 7th and 8th Std and the time I passed with yug was one of the best time. Yug always talk of bug things that in his house their was three to five A.C and his house was very big etc. I and Nigam know that he is faking but by it we laughed 😂😂. Due to yug many times I caught my teacher and punished and by seeing it yug and Nigam laughed. Sujan become best friend for us. He was thin and heighted. I and sujan always fight due to invalid reason and nigam always solved our fight. I always tease sujan and sometimes me and sujan tease nigam. Sahil was become my companion in my every work.

  We come to new building and new class in 8th Std. In 8th Prashant sir become our new class teacher and their speciality is like bhide of tmkoc who always talk about their generation. He teaches us science . Ruchi mam become our maths teacher to whom which we teased most. Yug make their pet name as Choco chip. Roshni mam become our new SS teacher and their teaching is my favorite even today. My bench companion was Nigam and Yug.

   8th Std also passed and we enter in 9th class. The time is passing in very speed. Entering 9th class makes us big in age as we entered in secondary section. Many new habits and friends make in this age only. This is like a sequel of ours life.

   Let's get back to present time.

11th July 2028

Aman told dev that let's go to sleep as the night came. Time passing and the day came when Aman has to go to India after 10 years.

The end of term break had already over, and now Chii was on the 11th grade.
Chii picked her class in second year on impulse, so did her department. That's a geniuses logic we got here: she just wanted to try learning something new, not biology and such as which has been her favorite subject since elementary school 'till now. Social science was the only thing that poked her interest currently, especially accounting and sociology courses. 
Thinking she could learn natural sciences privately, Chii finally choose social sciences department, got herself a seat in Social Sciences Department Class 1, after switching places because she originally placed in natural sciences by grades.
"Chiii! I missed you sooo much. You rarely came to our previous class' gathering during school break!" Araa exclaimed as soon as her eyes catched Chii's slender figure among the crowds. Today was the opening ceremony for their second high school year, and that's mean a new beginning for their journey. 
"Chill, Ra. Peoples're watching you, you know".  Araa pouted by Chii's cold reply. 
Nonetheless, Araa knew her friend too well to be upset so she just grabbed Chii's shoulders and guided her to a certain spot under the Sandalwood's shade where a bunch of her previous classmates were standing in a group and chatting. They use that rare chance before the school really started to gathered and catched up with their friends because starting this year they will scattered into different classes, and so their chance of encounter will lessen. Some of them, including Araa and Chii lucky enough to be in the same classes with some of their old classmates, while some of them have to start anew and make a new friend. Well, that's a different situation for different individual and personality of course. 
After exchanging greetings and chit chat they have to return to their respective classrooms line before the opening ceremony started. 
Being in the SS department (Social Sciences. we'll use this abbreviation for short from now on~), Chii have to get through another classrooms' rows from the spot where they were chatting earlier. This time, she have to walked across the sea of people alone because Araa's place was in Natural Sciences Department Class 3, which located 2 classes away from hers. 
"Hello,". A mellow but manly voice startled her in the mid of her short journey. It was like an oases for her anxiety: she was in the middle of the crowd and surrounded by peoples, a very uneasy condition for her introverted self. 
She raised her head up, meeting the warm gaze from a pair of black, sparkling eyes. They're not the kind of eyes that could pierce through your mind or something, it's more like a gaze that could send you a calmness deep down inside, a warm and friendly smiley eyes which paired with a dimple on his cheek. What a homey feeling, she thought. 
A short while, Chii gasped, not knowing how to respond such treatment from a person she barely knew, and on top of that, a boy her age (uhm, though she did something rude to this existence not long ago: observing him). 
She gingerly answered his greetings, smiled faintly and fled from the scene as soon as possible. 
Our Chii indeed was a pretty shy person, but she could actually be loud and very open to the people in her inner circles. Her dualistic personality (I wouldn't dare to claim it as a bipolar disorder nor split personality, she was simply a tsundere introvert girl with a little ocd) only known to a certain amount of her important people, and Araa was one of them. 
After slipped away from the enconter which made her heart leaped uncontrollably, Chii finally arrived at the place she supposed to be right before the ceremony started. 
Along the occasion that felt like forever to its boredom, Chii couldn't keep her mind still as she unconsciously stole a gaze to a certain spot where that boy standing. He looked cheerful and socialising well with his classmates. Chii clutched her chest, feeling a bit suffocated by the panorama in her periferal view. 'Aoki, huh' she thought, recalling that existence's name and went into contemplating mode in a second.

The normal school days arrived and everyday passed ordinary yet special. 
It's been a month, and Chii finally accustomed to her new environment, physically and psychologically speaking. She found herself an inner circle in the classroom, as well as a nice spot outside the classroom where she could spend her free time at ease. That spot is right in front of her class, under the elegant flamboyant tree which flowers still blossoming from the time she started her second year. There was a bench right below it and Chii self-proclaimed it as her new base. From there she can throw her gaze all over the south part of south buildings. Her current classroom is not too far away from the previous one, but the location wasn't on the bottom of the U line, it's at the end of the left side of the U where all the SS department 11th grade classrooms located. 
It's been an ordinary yet plain days for the last one month for Chii, cause she didn't have anything interesting to do aside from her routines. She still go to the library on the first break but aside from that she just spend her time with her classmates under the nice shade of the flamboyant at lunch break. She lost interest in her novels while waiting for a right time to restock her personal library. For that, she had to wait until the next volumes of her favorite were published. 
... 
On a certain morning when she accidentally arrived at school too early, Chii dragged her feet to rest for awhile under her beloved flamboyant tree. That's actually a normal thing for her to treated a single tree as a lively existence and hold them dear as some kind of friend, so she wouldn't felt as lonely here although there were still no one of her classmates appeared. 
It was a calm and shiny morning with a soft breeze that tickled every single thing on its way. The orange flowers from the flamboyant fell on the ground one by one, sometimes its pollen spread and fell over Chii's hair and shoulders. 
Feeling a sense of peacefulness and relaxing atmosphere, Chii closed her eyes and let her head rest at the back of the bench. When she opened her eyes slowly, her eyes directed toward the second floor of the southern building. As if a magic spell casted upon her, she stay still and didn't avert her gaze until she clearly saw a figure that had been occupying a little space in her brain for some time now. He was standing at the balcony of the NS Department Class 4 which happened to be the second floor of the bottom U line. His dashing appearance in the midst of the morning sunshine felt surreal to the eyes. 
Chii wasn't that clueless to the attraction she felt for that person, nor trying to deny it. They were at the age for that. She could feel her heart palpitated and a rush of adrenaline run through her body just like the last time she observed him. This time, she could say for sure, this person is special.
After savoring the view, Chii came back to her senses, while at the same time a flow of students started to fill the entrance gate.

Sighed, she folded the letter and wrapped it up within an envelope, the same plain-looking one as the paper inside. She couldn't help but felt dull about all of this now, and all the dullness reflected on that simple letter.
As she closed the envelope she felt her shoulder smothered as if an enormous stone had been rolled down from there. Eyeing the glass jar with thirty three stars within, she suddenly felt relieved and more assured inside. 
It was over... finally. 
Blinking her eyes, a new streaks of colour started to popped up inside her mygdala like a little fireworks, as a faint cracking sound of a certain wall could be heard. 
It was fine even if she could never reach that sunshine, for it's too far and blinding that she couldn't make any step closer. She would just make do with some star and moonlight, so she would never be burned to ashes. Moreover, the star will always show her the right path and guiding her so she won't lost ever again. 
Hopefully, the sunrise will lead her to her new-found north star, so she could picked up her pace, proceed with confidence along her journey which never ends.

Damn it! What kind of ecosystem was this? The evolution was messy. Even rabbit bites and plants were not to be messed with. How can one survive all this? Evolve into a Purple Moon Warrior? What did this have to do with the Purple Moon?
What kind of map was this? The Safety Sector? The Floating Domain? The Darkness Port? The Storm Voyage? The True Capital?
The Horror Lullaby List? The resurrection of the Underground Race and the prospering Underground City? The Chaos Black Market that suffused the world? The Bloody Road?
More importantly, one could end up in a bloody slaughter when dreaming and enter the Dream Domain? Fine, this damned era! 

About half an hour has passed since sunrise. There was thirty minutes left before classes begin at Rajahamsa High School. A girl with long hair wearing a sports uniform walked towards the 11th grade of 2nd science class while carrying a notebook. In the hallway she met two girls she knew who were also wearing sports uniforms. She heard them joking and laughing.

"Hi Rika, hi Ani," the girl greeted with a smile and friendly tone. But the two girls did not respond well. They immediately stopped laughing. 

Then Ani responded in a flat tone, "Hello Kiki."

"By the way, how's the choreography for your aerobics performances? Are your class's groups done yet?" Kiki asked.

"Yes, we have done them," Rika answered coldly. 

"Oh, see you later then," Kiki said as she walked toward the classroom door. In the classroom, the voices of several students and students who joined  conversations could be heard, except for a boy with glasses who was sitting on a chair and reading a book. 

Kiki approached the boy with glasses who was usually referred by the name Darza by his classmates. 

"Here's the mathematics note you lent me, Dejan. Thank you." Kiki returned a notebook to the boy.

"You're welcome." Darza took the book and put it in his bag. 

"Dejan, did you have breakfast? If you haven't, I got a bread with me," Kiki offered. 

"No need, just keep it for yourself, Kiki," Darza said. Darza didn't say much to Kiki, but what she did with the girl was different from what Rika and Ani did. The boy had a calm and quiet nature. That was the Darza who was known by Kiki since they were still in kindergarten.

"Dejan, why do you look sad?" Kiki asked worriedly. 

"It's nothing," Darza denied. 

"Are you being bullied again?" Kiki asked once more. 

Darza was silent. He pretended not to hear the question from his childhood friend. As his best friend, Kiki could find out what Darza meant without hearing a word coming out of his mouth. 

"Calm down, Dejan. I won't leave you in pain. Until whenever it is. I promise," Kiki muttered, smiling broadly.

The aerobics show began. The students gathered to watch the group performance from 12th grade 2nd social class. They all cheered for a student who was famously handsome in the school. His friendly personality and his ease to blend in the society turned into more attraction for the girls. His name was Banyu. 

"Kak Banyu is really handsome, don't you think?" Rika said to her friend. 

(Kak = a word people use in Indonesia to call an older person)

"Rika, you have been talking like that all the time. Did you think that the more you say that he's  handsome, the more possibility that he will go out with you?" Ani joked. 

"Well there's still a possibility, he doesn't have a girlfriend," Rika said. 

"Rika is always dreaming high," Ani said.

Behind them, Kiki walked without caring about Banyu and his fans. 

Rika saw the girl. She then called Kiki. 
"Kiki!" Rika called. 

Kiki turned her head. The girl approached Rika and Ani. "What's the matter?" Kiki asked. 

"Are you going to the cafetaria?" Rika asked again. 

"Yes.  Is there something you wanna buy?" Kiki asked.

"After this group's performance is our group's turn. Can you please get the flags for us, or can't you?"

"No problem. Please wait a minute," Kiki said as she headed towards the cafetaria. 

Kiki bought a bottle of tea, then walked towards the back of the cafetaria where the warehouse was located. He was surprised to see a student punching and kicking Darza. Kiki walked over to the student. "Hello. Are you Darza's friend? Can we have dinner together? The three of us?" Kiki asked with a grin.

The student looked at Kiki in confusion. 

"We will cook your meat," Kiki said, smiling broadly. Kiki kicked the student's stomach before she slammed his body to the ground. The student got up and ran away in fear. Darza watched the scene without saying anything. 

From behind a bush, several words came out of an ave's beak. "Hmm, that's interesting."

Kiki, a highschool girl, met a cygnet on her way home after school. It turned out that the cygnet was not a common animal and that it was an Acritucygnis. What kind of creature are they and why did they came to Indonesia?

Location: Ghost City
POV: Rudolf's

The train just arrived today, everyone was exhausted, but we still forced ourselves to go to the meeting room that was pre-made for us by the Marshall. In the City there was no one, the only thing we saw there were piles upon piles of resources, the lights shining brightly. After making our way through the central HQ, using the signs, did we finally arrive in the conference room, only a small layer of dust covered the furniture signalling that completion was very recent, maybe a week or 2 ago? 

We all sat down, Sector heads and Generals. Unknown to others Agent Zulu already made his way to the location the Marshall told him to go. ''Gentlemen sit down,'' I said as I made my way to the head seat, in front of the seat were 2 large buttons on the wooden table, I suppressed the urge to press one of them immediately and sat down, waiting for everyone to follow suit. After confirming everyone was silent did I press the button with the words '1. Civil' on it. The lights dimmed and a projector was activated, it counted down from 3 until the Marshall's body appeared, located in his old office. 

''Gentlemen, if you are watching this, that can only mean one thing. I have died and the Nuclear Missiles are currently being shot at their designated targets. This film will tell you the 10 commandments to follow when establishing the new order out of the Ashes. The Nation shall be named the 'Human Federation' and will encompass the entire planet, hopefully, the resources I left behind here will be more than sufficient to supply you to end this conflict. (The Marshall lights up a cigar), The nation will have to follow 10 commandments at any moment, failing to do so means failing the Organisation, if you are able to fulfil 5 out of 10 commandments the sector heads have the right to use the key located inside the button to open the safe located in the main conference room. The commandments must be enforced at all costs, they are as followed:

1. The Human Federation must always use its power to improve the living standards of its Citizens;
2. The Human Federation must protect the rights of its citizens at all costs;
3. The Human Federation must be operated through a direct Democracy model;
4. The Human Federation must Guarantee the Freedom of Speech, Movement, and Ownership;
5. The Human Federation must adopt a balanced Capitalist-Socialist economic model;
6. The Human Federation must produce energy only through none-fossil fuels; 
7. The Human Federation must always spend 10% or more of its GDP on the Military, 5% or more on Science and 15% on space exploration;
8. The Human Federation must ensure that the world's environment is kept stable during development
9. The Human Federation must guarantee its citizens: Free Healthcare, Education and Public Transport;
10. The Human Federation must make English the Primary Language while guaranteeing the ability to practice others;

''IN THE MARSHALL WE TRUST!'' The men saluted out of reflex. I sighed deeply before anyone could speak I pressed the button named '2. Defence'. The projector counted down again from 3, but this time the Marshall wasn't in his office but at the Missile silos,

The military is a vital role for the Nation, although there will be no enemy nation remaining, I hope you understand that they aren't the only threat, an army of a good size must be kept, for this. The Army will have to follow the 10 commandments at any moment, failing to do so means failing the Organisation, if you are able to fulfil 5 out of 10 commandments the High Command will have the right to use the key located inside the button to open the safe located in the war room. They must be achieved as soon as possible, they are as followed:

1. The Human Federation's Army must always consist out of 5% of the population;
2. The Human Federation's Army must always seek to improve their equipment through actual conflict created by itself;
3. The Human Federation's Army must always have an airforce of 1,000,000 planes minimum;
4. The Human Federation's Army must always have a navy of 1,000 ships minimum;
5. The Human Federation's Army must always have an armoured force compared to active personal of 1 tank for every 100 soldiers;
6. The Human Federation's Army will be split from the Organisation's Army;

8. The Human Federation's Army must only use WMDs (weapons of Mass Destruction) when only utter defeat is in sight;
9. The Human Federation's Army must always be prioritized over economic favours;
10. The Human Federation's Army main duty is to protect the Citizens at all costs!

''IN THE MARSHALL WE TRUST!'' The men saluted out of reflex again. The faces of the Sector heads and generals were all solemn, sad and depressed, not because of their promotion, but the inability to see their Marshall again, he was for 99% of the time their spiritual leader as well, (thanks to the indoctrination). Men let us prepare to execute the orders, let us show our marshall in the afterlife that we are able to make his last wish come true!'' I said full of confidence, many of the people in the room gained a new resolve.

I followed the directions of the Marshall to the letter, soon arriving in front of a wall, many would think it was just a wall, but to me, it is nostalgia, as it was the standard secret entrance, I press 2 places on the wall in a certain pattern causing it to open. Walking through the hallways checking each room, each filled with large containers, 'Probably supplies,' I remarked as I walked towards the main room, as soon as I opened the door a film started to play, counting down from 3, 

Soon the face of the Marshall appeared flanked behind him were the Agents from Alpha to Zulu, only zero missing. 'I don't remember this? Maybe old agents who died in the field?' I thought.

''Zero, if you are watching this that can only mean one thing. I have died and the Nuclear Missiles are currently being shot at their designated targets. (I was shocked as it originally was Zero that needed to stand here), This film will tell you the 5 commandments the Secret police needs to always follow through any means necessary, you are the representation of my will! You are that which acts on my commands even after death, the secret police are the ones I trust to the fullest. Hence I hope that you are able to fulfil these commands;

1. The Secret Police must under no circumstance be known by anyone but the members and me;
2. The Secret Police must always operate in the dark to eliminate any threats to the Organisation;
3. The Secret Police must from now on always have 100,000 members to operate effectively;
4. The Secret Police must remove any internal threats in the Organisation or Country;
5. The Secret Police must make sure the other commandments 'Civil' and 'Defence' are enforced;

''YES MARSHALL! I SHALL SHOW YOU I AM WORTHY!'' I saluted back to the screen, 'I will never let the Marshall down, I will be his extension, his will after death!' I said to myself. Soon I walked towards the box and opened it, the syringe looked very weird, the liquid inside was luminescent green as well. But I only fidgetted to see how to use it before injecting the serum without hesitation. ''AHHH!!'' Pain assault me as if worms were wriggling in my body. After which I fell unconscious.

Time. Time is intangible! Or so they said

Mea was hurriedly running towards her room since she's already late from her 1st period class when she suddenly bumped into someone and dropped all her things. She hurriedly stood up and picked her things shen she was the image of who she bumped into. her blood started to boil and she started to feel furious towards the man who inoccently standing in front of her without a word. It is her weirdest classmate Mathew that is blocking her way. 

"Are you really that blind? What's the use of your four-layered eyeglasses  if you still could not see?" Mea  started nagging at Mathew. 

"I'm sorry Mea. I..." Mathew answered calmly but was not able to finish his words since Mea just left him. He just let out a sigh. Mea and the rest of his female classmated always thought he is a Nerd since he is having a high graded eyeglasses and have braces. he also have lengthy hair.

When Mea reach their classroom, It was empty. How could she forgot that today was their schedule for the the practical exam for swimming on the other campus of their school? Their school have two campuses. The one is for the junior high school and one is for senior high school. Since Junior high school campus has a much bigger area, the track and field oval and the swimming pool are in there. This day is really a bad day for her. After bumping into a nerd, now she's left alone in the class. Mea just sat down in frustration and covered her face when a hand touches her shoulder. She looks up to see who owns the hand. 

"You are really making my day a living hell, don't you know that? Get lost!" Mea glared at Mathew angrily.

"I'll be going to the Junior Campus. You might wanted to take a ride." Mathew respond calmly. 

Mea stood up and walk. Mathew just followed her but instead of going to the car park, she went directly towards the gate and get a cab. Unfortunately, all cabs that passed by already have passengers in it. 

A white sports car stopped just in front of here. "Get in." Mea had no choice but to get in the car. 

Mathew was just silently driving. If they were to walk towards the Junior campus, it would only take them 10 minutes but it was a hot morning so they have to take a ride and take the highway since the shortcut is a oneway lane. 

Mathew played his stereo on and played a soft music. His passenger has been sitting down quietly for a while. 

"You are really so disgusting! Even to the choice of music you have a bitter taste."

Mathew let out a smile as she listened to Mea talking. 

"One day, you'll fall inlove with me." 

Mea smirk. "If that day would come, that would be the end of my life." It was followed by an arrogant smile. 

Mathew did not say a word but he was amused by Mea. Even if it seems like Mea hated her so much. 

Back when they were junior high school,  Mathew and Mea have always been a competitor. They were on the same grade level but from different section. In every competition, they always become an opponent. 

Now that they are already in one classroom, it seems like his presence is making Mea's life a living hell. 

Mea always hated the style and fashion of Mathew. She thinks he's being like an old-school-folk with the huge eyeglasses and braces which she often see on tv as a look of a nerd female character. For her, he is the ugliest guy in the campus. 
"Remember that day when you told me I am gay?"
Mathew broke the silence. Mea's syed grow wider. How could this man remember what he told him in their sevent grade after she lost over him during their quiz bowl in science? Mea thought on how to fight back.
"Aren't you really a gay? We are now on our 11th grade but you've never even laid an eye to any girls. What does that mean then?" Mea smiled sarcastically. Mathew was quiet for a while so Mea thought she had just had exposed Mathew's gender. 
"I only laid my eyes to one woman whom I know could never see me."

Those words leaves Mea a bit of wonder. "Really? I feel pity for you. Who would dare to see you with your weirdness you Nerd!" 

Mathew just responded with a smile and looked at Mea. Mea looked out of the window. 
Finally, after 15 minutes, they reach the campus.

Mathew unlocked the car doors. Mea got out of the car hurriedly. She went directly to the swimming pool where her classmates gathered. It was when she realized that she is still in her school uniform. Suddenly, Mathew stepped beside her and handed her a pair of swimming attire silently and then left her without any word. She wanted to throw the clothes on Mathew's back but she realized it is his only chance she have for the test. She could not just let it slip away. 

She run towards the comfort room and changed to her attire. She was wondering how did Mathew got those swimming attire but she has no time to ask him. She didn't want to have any conversation with him.

After changing she went directly to the pool. All her classmates already had performed the tests. Since she and Mathew came late, the were the last one to take the test. They need to perform the free style swimming.

They both positioned theirselves and waited for the signal. As the wistle blows, they both started moving their arms. Their classmates were like watching a competetition. Both are of the same strength and speed. They were both gasping for air after they finish their test and get off from the pool. Everyone from the class started to move out since their session is done. They both went directly to the dressing room to change. 

Mathew was walking ahead of Mea. Mea could see the muscled figure of Mathew. In her mind, he looked so manly from behind. Too bad he doesn't have a good taste of clothe and has to wear glasses and braces. But why is she thinking so much about Mathew?
