1 1. The End

Mea was hurriedly running towards her room since she's already late from her 1st period class when she suddenly bumped into someone and dropped all her things. She hurriedly stood up and picked her things shen she was the image of who she bumped into. her blood started to boil and she started to feel furious towards the man who inoccently standing in front of her without a word. It is her weirdest classmate Mathew that is blocking her way.

"Are you really that blind? What's the use of your four-layered eyeglasses if you still could not see?" Mea started nagging at Mathew.

"I'm sorry Mea. I..." Mathew answered calmly but was not able to finish his words since Mea just left him. He just let out a sigh. Mea and the rest of his female classmated always thought he is a Nerd since he is having a high graded eyeglasses and have braces. he also have lengthy hair.

When Mea reach their classroom, It was empty. How could she forgot that today was their schedule for the the practical exam for swimming on the other campus of their school? Their school have two campuses. The one is for the junior high school and one is for senior high school. Since Junior high school campus has a much bigger area, the track and field oval and the swimming pool are in there. This day is really a bad day for her. After bumping into a nerd, now she's left alone in the class. Mea just sat down in frustration and covered her face when a hand touches her shoulder. She looks up to see who owns the hand.

"You are really making my day a living hell, don't you know that? Get lost!" Mea glared at Mathew angrily.

"I'll be going to the Junior Campus. You might wanted to take a ride." Mathew respond calmly.

Mea stood up and walk. Mathew just followed her but instead of going to the car park, she went directly towards the gate and get a cab. Unfortunately, all cabs that passed by already have passengers in it.

A white sports car stopped just in front of here. "Get in." Mea had no choice but to get in the car.

Mathew was just silently driving. If they were to walk towards the Junior campus, it would only take them 10 minutes but it was a hot morning so they have to take a ride and take the highway since the shortcut is a oneway lane.

Mathew played his stereo on and played a soft music. His passenger has been sitting down quietly for a while.

"You are really so disgusting! Even to the choice of music you have a bitter taste."

Mathew let out a smile as she listened to Mea talking.

"One day, you'll fall inlove with me."

Mea smirk. "If that day would come, that would be the end of my life." It was followed by an arrogant smile.

Mathew did not say a word but he was amused by Mea. Even if it seems like Mea hated her so much.

Back when they were junior high school, Mathew and Mea have always been a competitor. They were on the same grade level but from different section. In every competition, they always become an opponent.

Now that they are already in one classroom, it seems like his presence is making Mea's life a living hell.

Mea always hated the style and fashion of Mathew. She thinks he's being like an old-school-folk with the huge eyeglasses and braces which she often see on tv as a look of a nerd female character. For her, he is the ugliest guy in the campus.

"Remember that day when you told me I am gay?"

Mathew broke the silence. Mea's syed grow wider. How could this man remember what he told him in their sevent grade after she lost over him during their quiz bowl in science? Mea thought on how to fight back.

"Aren't you really a gay? We are now on our 11th grade but you've never even laid an eye to any girls. What does that mean then?" Mea smiled sarcastically. Mathew was quiet for a while so Mea thought she had just had exposed Mathew's gender.

"I only laid my eyes to one woman whom I know could never see me."

Those words leaves Mea a bit of wonder. "Really? I feel pity for you. Who would dare to see you with your weirdness you Nerd!"

Mathew just responded with a smile and looked at Mea. Mea looked out of the window.

Finally, after 15 minutes, they reach the campus.

Mathew unlocked the car doors. Mea got out of the car hurriedly. She went directly to the swimming pool where her classmates gathered. It was when she realized that she is still in her school uniform. Suddenly, Mathew stepped beside her and handed her a pair of swimming attire silently and then left her without any word. She wanted to throw the clothes on Mathew's back but she realized it is his only chance she have for the test. She could not just let it slip away.

She run towards the comfort room and changed to her attire. She was wondering how did Mathew got those swimming attire but she has no time to ask him. She didn't want to have any conversation with him.

After changing she went directly to the pool. All her classmates already had performed the tests. Since she and Mathew came late, the were the last one to take the test. They need to perform the free style swimming.

They both positioned theirselves and waited for the signal. As the wistle blows, they both started moving their arms. Their classmates were like watching a competetition. Both are of the same strength and speed. They were both gasping for air after they finish their test and get off from the pool. Everyone from the class started to move out since their session is done. They both went directly to the dressing room to change.

Mathew was walking ahead of Mea. Mea could see the muscled figure of Mathew. In her mind, he looked so manly from behind. Too bad he doesn't have a good taste of clothe and has to wear glasses and braces. But why is she thinking so much about Mathew?
