After the invasion on Earth, AD 2948, many children and adults lost their lives of got injured. A young girl, Hazel, and her friends decided to take revenge for the many lives of Earth and to banish Saturn from returning. The fictional tale includes sci - fi, possibly romance, and a lot of fantasy. How would they take back Earth? Would they get caught? How are they going to survive? There are loads of questions to ask but, most books have a happy ending? Will this one have one too?

It was a regular day at borgin and burkes, the best antique shop in the wizarding world of Britain and don't let anyone tell you different. After all this is the only place you can get almost any ancient thing, they even had Salazar's necklace for a time until they made a mistake and sold it to old mrs. Smith. But after the last wizarding war, where a lot of the rich pure-bloods fought for the losing side, people started to think this place is evil- because pure-bloods know quality, so most of them went here. After the war, except for the occasional mistaken up and coming muggle-born, the only ones that come here are the dark and gray pure-bloods and even they come in hoods. Just for everyone to know (not that they would tell anyone) mr. Borgin was a half-blood and mr. Burkes'es great grandfather (the one who helped create the shop) was a muggle-born, they didn't care for blood status, just money.
So when me. Burkes or Daniel saw two adults and a child coming in with muggle clothes he didn't care at all, well maybe a little, not because of the muggle part, because they were new to this world so maybe he can make a lot of money out of them.
"Hey, how can I help you today at our antique shop?" He asked with a smile 
"We are looking for something interesting for the boy, after all, it's not everyday you're turning 11." 
If this world was SpongeBob and not Harry Potter, Daniel's eyes would become dollar eyes and if he was a Metamorphmagus his hair and eyes, maybe even his skin, would have turned gold, but as it was neither this nor that, the only change he had was a smile slightly bigger than before.
"And what would you like, Young sir?" He asked and paid attention for the boy for the first time
"Well, what is the most exotic magic book you have?" That was a difficult question, Daniel had lots of exotic magic books as it wasn't illegal to have books about illegal magic, but if he brought the boy a book too bad he won't get it and leave, then an idea came to mind.
"You look like a smart boy, I have just the book for you." Daniel went to the back and brought back a book, it was 'Occlumency: defend your mind'. If it was 200 years ago, Daniel wouldn't have sold it, after all it was one of the only occlumency books in existence! Usually, you learn occlumency from a master who were taught by his master, but luckily for Harry, occlumency was a dying art and the store was in bad shape, other wise he could have never get it.
"Harry, we have to buy it. What if someone would mess with your mind? That's not a present, it's a necessity!"
Daniel almost smiled his real smile and not just his business smile, he could see this family becoming one of his best clients. "This is 10 galleon and 15 sickle but because it's your first buy I will round it up to 10 galleon. If it's not a gift can I interest you in something else, Young Harry?" Daniel saw in the corner of his eyes the mother taking out the coins while Harry was saying "well, do you have an interesting invention? My dad and I like creating new things and tweak with things so that would be nice." 'That is it, I can finally get rid of that thing, but I have to sell it right so I won't lose my new customers over this' Daniel thought, and if he wasn't with people you would see him rubbing his hands.
"I might have something, it's a device which manufacturing way disappeared about 300 years ago,  the vanishing cabinet, it is said, that if you have this device and it's brother, if you get into one you would come out of the other, no matter what kind of wards there are in place. Sadly I only have one, otherwise, I wouldn't be selling it for less then 1000 galleons cause now it can only be used as a garbage disposal and for tweaking with it so I will sell for 23 galleons."
The eyes of Harry twinkled in excitement and Daniel could already feel the galleons especially when he heard from the father the words "We have to buy it, a semi working teleportation device. That's the dream!" "You already said it about a flying car" the woman said "can't a man have two dreams!" In the end they bought the vanishing cabinet as a bonus he added an expended suitcase for one galleon to put the cabinet inside.
In the end, when they left, Daniel was happy as he made 34 galleon in one sell, not knowing that in six years, for only the cabinet he could have made 150 galleons

As the celebration for Joseph's 10th birthday were being prepared, all the staff within the Fallenwind manor have been pushed to their utmost limits. After all on Allyria, regardless of which city you found yourself in, the human race  had largely collaborated on all aspects and this included traditions such as the coming of age ceremonies.

Unfortunately for Joseph, his coming of age ceremony was still another 5 years away. Boys became men at 15 years of age  and girls became women at 16,  while some details are vague most families prefer to keep their daughters at home and choose who they will marry in an attempt to increase the families connections to those above them.
The boys on the other hand, those of a lower social class were bound to serve the army for a number of years of which could be reduced depending on their merits. The middle class could also choose to have their sons join the military, choose to pursue an education or learn the family business to take over it in the long term.
Those at the peak of the hierarchy, depending on which area of the world could be either a monarchy or a government, and from the families involved in either tend to send their sons to get involved within the government or pursue the path of an educator.

Despite the various hierarchies and the communities they make up there seems to be a lack of corruption power brings to certain people and from that it is rarely seen any negative interactions between the lower social class and the other classes. The reason for this is that not one person is bound to their fate and ensuring everybody is provided for with an education. This education varies based on which one wishes to learn and what they want their future to be.

And being part of the upper middle class, the Fallenwind family had on this day selected  to be the day Joseph Fallenwind was going to find out through a special means of testing what his talents may lay in. The test while not being a permanent choice on what the tester has to become, it provides more of a general guideline on what and how to best use their talents. Joseph's family had several businesses across several fields: Alchemy, Tailors, Blacksmiths, Gathering, Restaurants and 1 or two others that may or may not exist in the shadows of the city, any family worth anything would have a toe or two dipped in shady business.

"System, should I be concerned about this test that I am about to do in a while?" - Joseph could not help but ask the System with a bit of concern in his voice.

Upon hearing the Systems announcement, Joseph felt more relieved and the weight on his shoulders very quickly vanished, this brought further self confidence to Joseph, confidence and excitement he could hardly wait to see what was going to happen soon.

As time was closing in for Joseph's ceremony, several women could be seen running through the corridors of the manor all heading towards a single direction Joseph's room. Among this group of women his mother Mary could be seen leading the pack. Why would a group of 10 women be rushing towards Joseph's room you might ask? Well being a young boy of 10 years of age, Mary understood many thing about boys, having grown up with a few brothers and that's that most boys at her son's age usually played about making a mess of everything.

Granted Mary had never seen her son play about like others of his age which at first found odd, but he seemed happy watching the various things adults did in their day to day life. Most surprisingly for Joseph's parents and grandparents had been finding out about his love for reading, and it seemed little Joseph had read several books within the families library covering  a wide range of topics.

But today was an important event for Joseph, and his mother wanted him to look his very best, like any other mother she was proud of her son and wanted to show him off to their friends.

As they neared the room that had been allocated to Joseph, the doors suddenly opened wide and from inside his room, out stepped Joseph wearing a top of the line suit gifted to him by his grandmother. His long golden hair had been trimmed to shoulder length, with a bit of magic from a popular hair stylist, his hair alongside with his frame and the suit gave Joseph a unique aura.

The group of women came to an abrupt halt as they continued to stare at this young man, Joseph's mother was so impressed with her son that a few tears of joy could be seen sliding down her face, what else could a mother possibly want? Suddenly grandchildren popped up in her head, and with that thought and a coy smile the thought expanded towards maybe it was time to look for a nice girl for my son. Mary suddenly had the urge to go speak and get some insights from her mother in law for future candidates.

When Joseph spotted the group of women and his mother among them, he could already tell the reason why they were there and having just come out the way he did had obviously startled them, as he looked towards his mother with a kind face still showing off some of his baby fat rounding off his jaw, he greeted his mother. - "Hello mom, shall we go to the hall? We should not keep the guests waiting for long." - With that Joseph approached his mother, and they walked side by side towards the main hall of the family's manor.

Except for Mizarin who has yet to reach the lvl 10 cap, everyone in the group frantically fed their Herbalist Gloves with Exp and growing it to lvl 3, while they drop 2, which brought everyone to lvl8.

"Alright, I will accept the completion now."- AleyaNala

The group noted in response.

"Yes, we would like to receive the reward within our selections." AlayaNala directed to the magician over the counter.

When the final confirmation was accepted by the magician, the group was showered with descending light, symbolic for gaining a level, and they received a notice of Items deposited to their inventory that rang thrice.

None of them bothered to check if the items are in their inventory. They are more inclined to the unknown reward that the special quest will give. Feeding their exp to the Herbalists Gloves once more, the company looked at their leader to proceed with the quest.

After the system message ended, the party immediately checked their inventory and took out the newly created equipment. Taking the material out prompted the magician; Minue, to speak.

Without question, the group touched the books, one by one, copying the contents. This does not require them to manually read and write the content, just by touching the book, they are prompted with a message to copy the information to their grimoire. After which they left the building.

It was already past lunchtime when Sai left his bed. Food was prepared on the table with a note, 'Eat, we're out for your brother's theatre play, come out for dinner tonight at 7:00 pm, Central Plaza, don't forget to wear a jacket'-Mom.

He pinned the note over by the refrigerator door and prayed after removing the screen covering the food on the table.

[Message: Izen: Your mother invited us for dinner, a celebration for your brother's theatre play. See you there!]

Sai finished his lunches, cleaned the after himself, then went on a jog. Though it was already mid-day, he has to at least run for 20 kilometers today. Running under the midday sun, Sai had to constantly take a break to catch his beat and refresh. After about 3 hours of cardio exercise, he made his way home, slowly taking his time. And when he reached home his sweat was all dried, breathing normalized, so instead of taking a long rest on a chair, he went to get a warm bath. A bath that took almost an hour, he stayed in the bathtub thinking, when the transfer would come to pick them up, him and some other neighborhood kids heading to the research center for their training. After his long bath, dried his hair, and went to take a nap, then his phone rang.

"Hello," Sai said with a half-asleep tone as he picked up the phone call.

"Where are you? Everyone is waiting!" Izen said irritated, she wasn't able to get her nap yet since they had to prepare for the meet. Ladies are ladies after all.

The tone on the voice shook Sai from his dreaming state, the looked at the time reading: 7:18 pm, he then dashed to his closet pulled some casual wear he prepared before going to bed, and called for a cab. It takes, precisely, a 15-minute ride to his destination from their house. Sao dressed as best he could, wore his how's not forgetting his phone and wallet, turned off the appliances, and left the building.

When he got out, headed to the street, a cab arrived stopping in front of him as if clockwork, every action seemed to be calculated effectively. Sitting at the back of the transport he gave his destination to the driver and opened his phone.

The first call arrived at 5:00 a few minutes after he got to bed. Reading the messages, that contained just one phrase; Wake up! is all it said. After reading the message he's sent a grouped message saying: "On my way."

Nobody really cared if he attended the dinner, they could just get him some takeout for later, he is a grown man after all, but his brother kept on asking if he is coming. So the adults couldn't turn a blind eye and called for him, but that was just for show. Fortuitously, his best friend; Izen, attended the dinner, and this gave Sai's brother more reason to impose on his attendance. None of them thought this as annoying, to their eyes it was cute, the younger brother looking up to his elders.

When the food started to be served, Sai appeared behind the door of the restaurant. Izen saw him and waves her hand raised to attract his attention.

"Just in time. Thank you for waiting." Sai greeted his elders and then sat beside his brother and best friend.

"I wanted to wake you up earlier but mother said not to disturb you." Sai's brother said.

"Haha... Really. Thanks." Sai put his hands around his brother's neck pulling him close then messing up his hair.

The dinner was delicious, mixed continental dishes and tropical seafood grub enticed the family gathering. The conversation ranged from Sai's brother's recital to his acceptance in the research department and Izens decision to postpone her transfer.

When the family got home, Sai made sure that his brother went to sleep, and then he freshened up and went to his room. Booting up his computer and browsing the CELESTIALS official website for new information, and the forums for hints on how to get the descent drops and equipment, as well as where to get materials for the alchemist and blacksmith quest.

Sai was able to locate a spot where he could collect for pearls, located in the assassins encampment, Bandits lair, Nad gold ores From the mines near the Royal Training grounds. As for the firewood, there were no hints on what material is of high quality so he would still have to look for a suitable source. After a while of searching and browsing, Sai decided to log in to the game.

Wearing the headgear, Sai laid down on his bed and initiated the login interface of the equipment.

Michael looked around, dumbfounded.

"Is this... all your collection?", he stammered out.

Mr. Maddox snorted before turning around and looking seriously at the young man. "You are incorrect in two ways. First of all, it would take several lifetimes just to amass the collection you see before you. Look at me, do you think I've had that kind of time?"

Michael grinned sheepishly. Even though he still had a bit of the failing of the young of being unable to accurately gauge how old exactly adults were, he knew that Mr. Maddox was only a graduate student. He must have acquired the collection through his family or purchasing other collections in bulk.

"Your second mistake is that this isn't all of the books - just the ones for sale. Now, let's discuss the project."

A stunned look quickly replaced his grin once again, before he shook his head and followed the librarian into a small brightly-lit office. He could see a brand new computer that still needed assembly on top of one side of a wraparound desk, with several filing cabinets labeled with a series of letters on the remaining wall. 

"You can use this computer, though you'll have to do the assembly yourself. I've read a few books on them, but they're not really my cup of tea."

Michael nodded absentmindedly. He looked at the various components laid out on the work surface. Top of the line graphics card, memory, processor... from myriad sources. Totally overkill for an office computer. The best way he could describe it was as if someone with more money than sense had walked into a store and said 'give me the top of the line, I don't care about anything else.' Michael decided to keep his mouth firmly shut.

"Speaking of, I'm going to make some tea. Would you like some?", the librarian asked, not even waiting for a response as he stepped out of the room and headed deeper into the building. Michael was left alone in the office with the computer.

He was a bit perplexed. The entire "job" was still rather vague. Still, a combination of reflex and respect for his teacher had him starting to put together the computer in short order. Soon he was engrossed in that work, and his concerns about the oddity of the situation faded to the back of his mind.

Without him noticing, Mr. Maddox had returned with a tray and tea set. He quietly observed Michael as he assembled the various components and nodded. He set the tray down on one of the unoccupied desk surfaces, then walked back to the office door before reaching outside just out of potential view of his young student. He quickly retracted his hand, bring a small table back and setting it down in an open area beyond the desk. He repeated the motion twice more, bringing two two chairs into the room as well. 

When Michael had finished assembling the components, he plugged everything in and turned on the machine. He monitored the boot sequence and stood up, satisfied, before turning around and jumping a bit as he realized he was no longer alone. Mr. Maddox was sitting in one of the chairs, enjoying a cup of tea as he watched his assistant work. 

"Sit," the Librarian stated in a casual but imperious manner. 

It sounded like he didn't care whether Michael listened one way or another, but at the same time as though he couldn't imagine anyone ever ignoring his directions. Michael went over and sat down in the remaining chair. There was an empty cup sitting next to the pot, but he didn't know the etiquette so he just... sat there. 

Today's experience with Mr. Maddox was very different from their interactions at school. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but there was something about his demeanor that made Michael incredibly nervous.

"If you want tea, you can have some," the Librarian said in an amused tone.

"...ah, yes!", Michael hurriedly replied, his hands shaking as he picked up the teapot and went to pour.

"... don't spill."

The tea was very fragrant, herbal and floral without being grassy or bitter. Despite the attempts of his mother to convince him otherwise, Michael had always been indifferent to tea, but he found this one quite refreshing. After a few minutes of silence while Michael sipped his tea, unconsciously matching his movements to the other man, Mr. Maddox finally set his cup down and spoke.

"From now on, come here on Sundays. You can choose a cataloguing system that you think is best. If I don't approve, I'll let you know. I want all of these books entered by the end of the year. If you need any other resources, let me know. In return, you can read anything you want. I can also see about getting you additional credit for school, depending on your performance."

Michael hesitated, which led to a frown from the Librarian.

"What."

"It's just, that... beginning next Sunday afternoon, I have a new contract at the cafe."

"The cafe? ... Ah, yes, the Ben-David boys. Very well. Sunday mornings you come here, and then you can go over there afterwards. It's not far," Mr. Maddox announced with a satisfied smile, as though the matter was settled.

Michael nodded unconvincingly. Mr. Maddox's frown returned, deeper than before. 

"Still not satisfied? Hmph. Unbelievable. Fine. I might see it that you get paid a small amount as well. I think that's customary. Honestly, children these days."

Michael grimaced. 'Aren't you only a decade or so older than me?' After all, the money wasn't what he had on his mind - it was more a matter of him not having enough time! He already had a billion things on his list to do - another long term project was not going to help. He was only hesitating about how to turn him down. It was at that moment that the System decided to intercede.

"...Michael?" 

"Yes, System?"

"I know you're hesitating, and that you've got a lot on your plate, but... I think this could be a really good opportunity. It's ultimately up to you, of course. I can't make this decision for you."

Michael's frown deepened further. The System didn't interject like this. Ever. He could vaguely tell that there was something the System couldn't discuss. Maybe something related to time-travel? Still, he took it to heart. If this was an opportunity that even the System identified, he needed to pay attention. If he worked hard at it, maybe he'd be able to figure out how to make his schedule work. It was a headache, but also... it was an investment, in himself and in his future. 

Finally, he sighed and looked up at Mr. Maddox with a wan smile. "Payment isn't necessary, sir. I was just trying to figure out how to make sure that I didn't let my studies or training lapse," he explained with a detectable amount of helplessness lacing his voice.

The Librarian raised his eyebrows. "I see... that's a fair point," he murmured, clearly surprised and impressed by the turn of events. "Tell you what. It'll take a bit longer, but we'll do it this way. Instead of coming at 10 on Sundays, come at 8. I'll tutor you for two hours, making sure that your schoolwork isn't suffering. You'll then work on the project from 10 to 2 before going over to the cafe. I'll talk to young Benjamin and arranged it."

Michael brightened. Private tutoring from a graduate student, especially one clearly as knowledgeable as Mr. Maddox, was a rare opportunity indeed. Maybe this is what the System had guessed would happen. However, something about his statement struck Michael as a little odd.

"Umm, Mr. Maddox, isn't Ben your age?"

"... right. I think I just heard someone else call him that and it slipped out. Never mind that, come out here and I'll show you the rest of the facilities for now. You know, this building used to be one of the oldest mills in the area, a couple of centuries ago. Shipments would come by both land and water to be processed here before heading further on towards the capital. It's a funny story, actually...", he continued as Michael followed him deeper into the rows upon rows of massive bookshelves.

Shortly after 1pm, Michael said goodbye to Mr. Maddox and started to walk back towards the downtown core. He promised him to be there at 8 the following Sunday, and to wear a tie. 

He strolled back through the park along the river, admiring the view as a few sailboats were now peppering the water. Various groups could be seen enjoying the park, throwing balls and discs back and forth to each other or enjoying a picnic around the water. 

There were also the occasional jogger or biker along the path, and as Michael was just walking casually he would step to the side to let them past without paying too much attention. However, one jogger stopped and turned around after he had made way, calling out and shaking him out of his lazy Sunday reverie.

"It's you!"

It's the turn of the 21st century in a world not unlike our own. 14 year-old Michael wakes up on the first day of high school with a nosebleed, a splitting headache, and the voice of someone claiming to be him from a number of years in the future in his head!

"We could have been, and we need to be, better... so, congratulations, I'm sorry, and good luck!"

Stuck with a somewhat overbearing voice in his head that seems hell-bent on ruining his life, Michael will have to survive such ordeals as... doing well in school, eating right, exercising and... learning demonic contract law? Stay tuned to find out!

I'm finally free. My little sister really enjoys when I read to her, and with the second volume of the princesses books our mother brought recently, she became once again obsessed with those 'new' stories. 

It has been a really bad year. I went from believing I had a lot of time to introduce all kinds of stories to the world, to realize that I wasn't the only reincarnated person in the world. And the others were not playing around like I've done until now.

One guy has already written three books, with a fourth coming out soon. Another one has somehow made a cartoon for tv. And there were at least three others making their 'own' comic books, if the information my father has is correct.

Fortunately no one has touched any of the titles I love. But that didn't mean that no one was planning on it, or even worse, already doing it. So now I could only work hard and pray for the best possible outcome. 

"Rachel! It's time to go, are you ready?" My father called me. 

We were going to the comic publisher where my father has some friends. I planned to familiarize myself in the comic business to eventually make one of my own. After all, I have a talent for drawing and I know many interesting stories. 

"Yes daddy" I said with a sweet smile. I couldn't have him regret his decision after all the time I had spent convincing him to bring me there. 

"Are you really planning on making your own comic?" My father asked once we were on the road. 

"Yes! After you told me about the other kids my age doing so much, it inspired me" I replied with extra enthusiasm. 

My father sighed at my answer, "I know that you're a really talented girl with a precious gift, but you don't need to try this hard. You're young, and it worries me all the effort you been putting these last days" He said with a soft tone. 

It's true that I have been working hard lately. And I'm grateful for the care that my father always gives me. But it's nothing serious, he's just perplexed with the sudden change in my attitude. I went from a relaxed and playful girl, to a hard working one who hardly plays anymore. 

"I know daddy. I just want to try it out and see what happens with my own eyes" I finally said. There was no way I could explain to him the importance of not wasting time. 

The rest of our time in the car was filled with the typical questions about school and the friends I've made. My suffering only stopped until we arrived to our destination, where I finally could get out to get some needed space. 

I didn't had any expectations for the place, but still I have to admit that I was somehow disappointed. It was just a building, with no special details worth mentioning, besides the big sign at the entrance. 

Fortunately the interior had more life to it. There were some people walking from one side to the other, talking and discussing loudly about many things. 

Among the group of people there was one of my dad's friends, an amicable looking middle age guy, who was a little on the fat side. When he saw us, he approached with a happy expression on his face. 

"Robert! Nice to see you" He said before giving my father a short hug. 

"I see that you haven't left the hamburgers, huh?" My father joked. 

"Hahaha, I tried it for a couple of days... Never again!" He replied. And then they proceeded to joke around for a extremely long time. In my unbiased opinion. 

"Glenn, this is my daughter. Rachel" My father suddenly said. I was starting to think that he forgot to introduce me in the first place. 

"Hello Mr. Glenn, I'm Rachel. It's nice to meet you" I saluted him politely. 

"Nice to meet you too!" He said to me with a smile, "Are you sure that she's your daughter? She's cute and well mannered after all" He joked again. But I sure wasn't going to let them go at it again. 

"Mr. Glenn, what is everyone doing? They seem to be discussing something important" I asked while pointing the group of people in front. 

"Oh! They are discussing about work, we have some deadlines to accomplish after all... Although the topic now is about Michael. A kid who's making this really cool comic book named 'The walking dead' " He explained. 

"Is Michael here?" I asked quickly. I really wanted to meet another person in my situation. Maybe the possibility of working together wasn't impossible after all. 

"Yes, do you want to meet him?" He asked with interest. 

I just nodded in confirmation, and after some more small talk between the 'adults', we went towards one of the rooms in the building. 

Inside, there was a young kid my age discussing with two adults about something related to the violence of the comic, according to what I could hear. 

The kid, that should be Michael, had a beautiful shiny blonde hair, although a little too long for my liking. He had pale skin, a small pointy nose, and deep blue eyes. He's definitely cute. 

"Ok, let me ask the boss" One of the adults said, and then walked away. 

Taking advantage of the situation, I approached quickly with a clear intention on mind. "Hey there. I'm Rachel" I introduced myself to the pair in front of me. Although my eyes never left Michael. 

"Hello Rachel. I'm Thomas and this is my son Michael" He said once he noticed his son's lack of interest. 

"Tom! How is it all going?" Glenn asked once he and my dad got closer. 

Like I supposed, there was a problem about how violent the comic was turning out. What did surprise me, was that no one mentioned the fact that a little kid imagined that violence in the first place. 

The adults were discussing about it, so I finally made my move, "Hey, are you planning in doing the whole farm storyline? I ask because I wasn't really a fan of that part in the TV show" I said with a mischievous smile. 

I totally caught him off guard. His expression transformed quickly from irritating and expressionless, to one full of surprise and I even dare to say relief too. 

"Come with me" He simply said after a while, and walked towards one corner of the room. I signaled my father where I was going and then followed him. 

"So another one has appeared" He said playfully when we reached a 'safe' spot. 

"Why are you trying to act like I didn't surprise you? Your face before was pure gold" I joked. 

"Ha ha, a funny one I see" He said, adopting a more serious expression. "Let's drop the act. Why are you here?" 

"Do I need a reason to present myself to you?" I asked back. I wanted us to have talked casually for a longer period of time before we started with business. But he obviously had other plans. 

He just sighed with a tired expression at my words, "Well, let me present the situation from my perspective first, so we'll both are in the same place" He said with a low tone that totally didn't match his boyish looks. 

"I don't know how many reincarnated people there are. And I suspect, given the people I'm aware of, that we all were born around the same year... What I do know, is that we have a big opportunity to succeed thanks to our bast knowledge of future inventions. But like the kids we are, we are limited in our actions... So, the entertainment industry turned out to be the best alternative for us to tackle. Comics, books, tv shows, music. There's a lot of possibilities... "

"I'm aware of that. In fact I'm planning to make a certain story on my own. Which, as you could have guessed, is the principal reason of my presence here" I said with a small smile.  

"That's cute" He smirked, but it didn't last long before his serious expression returned "...In my case, once I realized the situation I was in, all I could think of was to make this one property I loved and make it my own. Give it my own spin if you may...But I was late" 

That sucks, I really hope that doesn't happen to me. And considering that 'Harry Potter' is very popular, it could happen at any time. 

"What was the property you wanted to make?" I asked. I didn't want to pry, but my curiosity was bigger. 

"Star wars" He admitted, "A girl named Carla presented the idea earlier to other comic publisher" 

I completely forgot about that one. It will be hard to make it popular at this time though. And introducing it with a comic instead of a movie, will make it even more difficult. 

"Do you know of others like us?... Besides Carla I mean" I was curious, and he seemed to know more than me about the others. 

"So you really want to join the fun, huh?" Michael said, while he genuinely smiled for the first time. "Well you're in luck, thanks to my father I was able to get to know about most of the competition... 

There's this unknown girl, who I believe will participate in a kid show. But she's going with the music route, so I'm not that interested about her.

Miguel, who I discovered recently, is writting 'The chronicles of Narnia'. Although I been told that it will take him some time to finish.

And the worst of all, even more so than Carla, is this guy who doesn't know how to take it easy. Samuel..."

I immediately took a picture of the suspects and contacted my sister trying not to lose sight of them all while remaining discreet, in my family everyone has to undergo military training at a very young age thanks to this today, I am one of the most famous high school detective in Japan with several investigations to my credit all over the world. 

I managed to guide the intervention team to intercept them, when they were arrested I don't know why but it was too easy one of them started smiling at that moment I had a bad feeling I immediately pushed my sister who handcuffed the group leader then BOOOM

I start reading all the books, rather I flip through the pages at high speed and memorize all the content because I kept my eidetic memory of my previous life and the latter seems to have evolved during my crossing of the abyss because all the books or information remains in my memory more easily, it is as if I had a library in my head that stores all the information in books that I can consult when I want where I want.

An enchantment makes use of the language of rationality to make the System react in the way you programmed it to do."


Lila smiled at his brief yet precise explanation. She would use a few different words here and there, but the core of his understanding was more than enough to proceed in their teachings.


"I gotta say, since I met you, there has been no shortage of excitement. You certainly lived up to the fanfare Eleanor made about you back at the manor ha ha ha!"


He felt delighted whenever his masters praised him. None of them had a personality that would give praises without merits.


"Follow me. I have some books that I want you to study before our next class." 


Riwall had to run back to his room while balancing over 30 books. If he opted for more than one trip, he would be late for Edward's training. Since his hellish first training under Eleanor, he really missed living in a society with a Child Protective Service.

His day progressed without incidents worthy of note. He even managed to get his first crafting skills on smithing and then woodworking, albeit only on the first level as both Theodas and Hobb did not let him craft anything on his own yet, only take part in a few steps while working as an assistant for them.


As soon as he had some time alone with Lila's books, he and Friday began their usual process of reading all of them and compiling a new one.


Friday's assumption that she would be able to start a compendium about enchanting was right. The books had a lot of incorrect and imprecise information about many things, but there was enough for her to start understanding the mysterious language that could manipulate the System to do their bidding.


Its complexity was off the charts, even for Friday's mighty processing power. For now, all she could do was come up with designs that could only provoke simple, yet powerful, effects. Most of them consisted of flat % increases in a chosen thing, like armor resistance, body reaction speed, mana efficiency, and a few others. They had already come up with some combinations to complement their fighting style but opted to do it only after checking things with Lila.


The next day was the same thing, Eleanor training was as hard as ever, and the crafting classes were still theoretical. The only thing he was looking for was Lila's class.


"Hello, Master! You look stunning today!"


That elicited only a light chuckle from Lila.


"So young and already trying to charm his teachers? Hmm, I wonder what Eleanor would think of this behavior." She said while pensively rubbing her chin.


The mere prospect of having to talk to Eleanor about something like that sent shivers down his spine.


"No need for that Master, it was just an innocent compliment, no ulterior motives."


"Ha ha, I'm just kidding. Now, time is of essence, did you read the books I told you to?"


"Yes, and I also started a compendium on the subject."


The compendium picked her interest. Hector seemed to love the books he came up with and even had some of them published under his name with Riwall's authorization.


Master and student sat beside each other, and he began showing her what he learned.


"... and this intersection here sets off a reaction that results in the rounding of a number to always be up, regardless if the fraction should be rounded down under normal circumstances." He concluded.


She already knew about this phenomenon and its causes, but to see a 10-year-old learn about it alone was too shocking.


Lila was no beginner on the subject. Although Riwall's compendium was a great work, it was very far from perfect. At first glance, she saw dozens of mistakes that had already been noticed and rectified by enchanters of the past. He had no practical experience, so everything he wrote came from books meant for beginners.


Riwall took no offense when she started to pinpoint every incorrect assumption or effect he wrote. Her remarks were followed by lengthy explanations that Friday would include in her next revisions of the compendium. It was a truly enlightening experience for Riwall and Friday.


With all he was learning, he knew that few would be able to stop him if he played his cards right in the future.

Things were progressing well on the kids' life. Although they lived and trained together, they still kept hidden their own stats and skill levels. Not that they distrusted each other, but because there were only downsides in doing so. If one of them was captured or for some reason spilled the beans, their potential enemies could be better prepared to fight them. But as they lived and trained together, knowing each other stats and skills would add absolutely nothing to their synergy and strategies.


As taught by their masters, the numbers were not an accurate representation of someone's prowess. For example, Riwall had a capped <Archery> and <Edged Weapon Combat>, yet, Greg and Anna would wipe the floor with him in their respective fields. He soon accepted the truth that his strength lies in his adaptability, not in any specialty.


Although they settled on the interpretation that the System was the epitome of rationality, it surely did not look like it in some aspects. Take the numbers representing attributes and skill levels, what good were they if someone with a lower skill level could still demonstrate higher prowess than someone with a much higher level?


None of their masters answered this question, not even a random soldier that he approached and asked about it. But this experience was enlightening in its own way, for this seemingly innocent question led to several others that changed his perception of his surroundings.


As they were kids, Riwall attributed others' unwillingness in teaching them or giving a few tips as simply not caring for these children or being afraid of repercussions from their masters. What he found out instead, was that they were under strict orders or oaths to not interact with them above a certain level of friendliness.


The soldier he randomly questioned was a new face around the barracks and happened to be on his way to his first briefing meeting. He was a kind and well-mannered fellow that told Riwall that it would be unwise for him to answer any question related to his skills, for this was the role of his masters. The follow up to this question is what shocked Riwall the most.


"But why would it influence my training? I mean, are there any consequences if one learns something before a certain age?" Riwall asked after the man refused to tell him more about skill levels.


"The consequences are not directly related to the System or anything of the sort. The problem is that knowing about it will change the student's mentality and severely cripple his development speed. Nobles usually don't care much about it and teach their kids everything as soon as they learn how to read and write, but they have the best resources, equipment, and teachers to make up for the loss."


"So a noble will never realize its own potential?"


"Oh, I said the exact opposite of that. A noble's job is different from a commoner's. They are meant to rule since their birth, their sole responsibility is to know more than the others and be able to guide them in the right direction. Their skills will be on the lower spectrum, true, but with the best teachers, equipment, and elixirs, they can push their attributes higher and compensate for the low skills by combining the former with high levels. Nobles are always organizing levelling caravans during summer and fall seasons."


"I see..." Riwall had a thoughtful expression and was stroking his chin. "You told me a lot of things no one ever said before, not even our masters. Why would they hide it from us?"


The soldier scratched his head with a regretful expression.


"I think I was supposed to learn about the reasons in the briefing that I was just going right now, I vaguely remember someone recommending me to not talking to any of the kids before being briefed by the commander." He let out an exasperated sigh. "I think I may have disobeyed an order that I was just about to receive. Well, as my papa used to say, 'what is a fart for someone who already shat their pants?'. Bring your next question, kid!" The soldier suddenly had a determined expression and seemed to be enjoying his little rebellious act.


Riwall was not one to miss an opportunity like this.


"I know you will not answer questions about things that could impact my training, but can you tell me if you have ever heard about three kids being trained here?"


"Can't say I have. These barracks were not meant to be active anymore. A few years ago, they built new ones and moved most of the personnel to it. From what I heard, the Lord himself assigned this build to the Farsteels and gave them free rein. There were rumors at the time about a secret project going on, but no one could get in here and everyone working and training here were oath-bound to not share any information."


Friday quickly prevented Riwall's face from showing his surprise.


"And no other noble made any attempt to investigate it?"


"Kid, I'm just a common soldier, all I know about here came from gossip I heard on taverns and brothels. There were some whispers about a few failed attempts to infiltrate here, but this place has as many enchantments as a fortress. I'm sorry, if I don't leave now, I will not hear the end of it. See ya, kid!" He noticed how much time he was wasting and rushed to the Commander's Office.

[You seem to always forget that you, Anna and Gregory are only 10-year-old! Why bother any of you with problems too complicated even for adults. Yes, there is a hidden agenda around here, and yes, they are hiding some things related to the System from you. But is it any different from what they did to kids back on Earth? And so he went to his friends to pass the time before their next training session. Greg was lying on his bed reading one of the books Riwall had compiled while Anna was snoring on the top bunk.


{Tsk. She is still as lazy as ever. All she did all day was training, eating, sleeping, and reading fairy tails. I still can't understand her decision to not take any crafting classes.} He thought while shaking his head.


"Who's up for a tag game?!" He screamed at the top of his lungs.


As kids, both Anna and Greg jumped to their feet immediately.

I will state here my promises to you, potential reader:

1. No harem! I don't trust myself to make a harem feel natural or healthy, I never met any person who has a personality that can adapt and live in a harem for reasons that are not monetary, so I can't draw inspiration from real life. Sorry!;

2. The enemies will not be bland and illogically mean. Some may feel like that at first, but I will take great care in fleshing them out, trust me. You may end up hating some, but you won't be able to deny that they had their reasons for what they did;

3. I am using a paid (and expensive) automated editor tool, and I take longer to write because I take my time in editing the stuff I write. I am aiming to improve and I will not shy away from constructive criticism, nor take offense for no reason;

4. Characters will die and will suffer, some will get over the tragedies and improve, others will not be as resilient.

5. This novel has a lot of ground to cover, it is neither a short story, a manual on crafting, or the script of some action scene. There will be both time skips and oversimplifications of some actions for the sake of moving the story forward. Time skips will be more prominent in the first 30 chapters. I will describe crafting processes and fights with more detail if they are essential for the chapter;

6. If I took my time describing something, it's because it is important. I hate novels that wastes time describing useless stuff. If you skim over something, the chances are that something in the future will not make sense. I am an adept of "Chekhov's gun" principle;

7. If in the future Webnovel comes to offer me a contract, I will first reach for the readers to know their opinion and see if they want to donate through other sites or not. It would be a dream come true to live of writing, but not if the cost is the alienation from the people that supported me along the way;

8. I already have 31k words on my auxiliary documents, I have a plan for the story, and I will not be making changes even if someone ends up noticing some foreshadowing and figures out what will happen. The story comes first.

9. I have a wife, a job that demands 9h every day and courses related to my job (lawyer) three days of the week, it's unlikely that I will be able to do mass releases at all. I will have a healthy amount of chapters to be able to post at least 1 chapter every day continually. Don't worry.

10. I will read all the comments. I will listen to all you have to say and will try my best to accommodate demands as long as they do not hamper the path I prepared.

11. There is an arc that spans the entire novel. Each volume will be an arc in itself while progressing a little bit of the main arc. Every arc will have one or more main antagonists.

'I wonder if this is truly a Paradise? What is a Paradise to began with? How will someone know if they have truly found their rightful place?'

A young women laying on the ground thought to herself.  She was surrounded by nature all around her.  The wind swinging the tree branches causing the leaves to get carried away.  The grass dancing to its tune, the girl believed this simple view was truly something beautiful.  Everyday this was a time where she truly felt at piece.


'I am only one person in this vast universe, how can I truly know what paradise really is if I have never seen more than this grass the I lay on where there is only a huge house in the middle surrounded by a forest.'

Still the young women cherished the view she saw in front of her.  The whole time her gaze was around her surroundings, she twised her neck and looked up, everytime she did this the scenery she cherished was shattered because up above was not the sky she would read of from the books in the library but a window that blocks her from the beautiful stars that she sees.

The girl raises her hands, from this view its as if she could grap those stars but that was only her imagination.

'Why does it seem so close yet so far away, is whats above supposed to keep us away from what is beyond or is it to keep us in here.' The girl pondered and pondered but at the end she is only just a young wonen and can only wonder because the adults around her dont tell her what she wants to hear and her peers themselves do not have the same thoughts.

This is also the time where she feels the most alone.

"Lyla, you here again", a man approaching said, the man seemed to be in his early thirties.  A muscular man with tired eyes, his face showing a sad expression.  He quickly changed his expression when he looke to her and had a cheerful smiling showing.

"Lelard, I wanna know what is beyond the glass, is there truly more life," Lyla said showing a face full of curiosity.
"Listen Lyla, you cant keep on asking the same question everyday hoping you will get the answer you want.  This life that we live is     bound only here and thats how it will be."

"Lair, I know your lying Lelard like you always do," Lyla displeased runs away towards the huge house.

"Ah, kids these days just keep on getting more rebellious," Lelard says.

Ofcourse what he said was a lie but how can you blame him.  He knows whats is awaiting these children when they are to be taken away from here because he has seen it numerous times.

'I'm sorry Lyla but the world that you await beyond is no paradise but a hell in space.  You are strong, smart and healthy children that are to be raised here but even if you are all of those, you will still be slaves to those that are stronger.  There is only one thing to do and that will be to fight for your freedom, we adults will fight for your freedom because who that raised a child for so long and have them grow could send them out to be killed.  You children have fulfilled our dream to have a family and so until our dying breathes we will fight and love you so that you children may one day see a true paradise without the chains forced onto you by others.  It is time for a man to repay the happiness that he was given." 

Back at the huge house sat a boy staring outside the window, he sees a girl running towards the house, she had red and short hair, her eyes were a green color.  Even though she was a young women of the age of 16 she still had a well developed and fit body.
                                                                                              The boy has seen this everyday for as long as

he can remember, somehow Lyla always ends up running back at the same moment everyday with the same face that is filled with anger.  The boy truly could no understand how this happens everyday but he always knew it does and so he would wait for her, to the boy that was something even more that he could not understand.

Lyla entered the huge house and saw the boy sitting dowm, he was tall, probably taller than her by a feet, he had blond hair and blue eyes.  He was also the same age as lyla and his body had a slim figure while he had a face as hansom as a 16 year old boy would have.  Almost all the children were the same age except one who was a 4 year old.

"Alled, why are you always here when I get back," Lyla asks.
"I can be wherever I want to be when you get back whether its the same spot or a different one," Alled said.
"Yeah sure whatever"
"Wanna sit down and chat"
"Thats what we always do"
"So, I like chatting"
"Ok," Lyla was at a lost, she could never win against Alled's straightforward attitude.  Even so, dee inside she always enjoyed the chat they have together everyday.  She ends up forgetting her anger and frustration.  A simple conversation can really soothe a person.

At this time it was when they will gather for dinner in an hour or so.

There were 10 children who were 16 years old and one 4 year old kid.  And the total of adults were 9.  These 9 were the ones who raised these children.  They are not blood related in any way but each kid shared a admiration for each of the older adults.  Of the ten 16 year olds there were 5 boys and 5 girls who also were not blood related in anyway.  Each were different in their own unique way, but they all shared a common goal that they all never told each other and that is to find their own rightful place.  Lyla was actually never truly alone, it was just hard for the others to voice what they think themselves.

The days were fixed for the kids, when they wake up, eat, play and sleep.  They were to follow the schedule.

Right now is late at night, mostly everyone was asleep.  Outside entered 2 men that came beyond the glass and behind them followed one of the most absurd creations of all history. 

A 10 feet tall monster with long legs and arms.  It had claws and it was drooling all over.  Its skin was like iron and it could stand, walk, run like a human and also it could run like an animal.

This is one of the experiments held outside beyond the glass.  Its success was ensured threw coultless lives of young men and women.

These monsters are known as "Paradise".

"Jacob stay out of this."

" Mr. Johnson is it, I don't care what your intentions are but if you try to cause trouble in my store I'm gone have to trow you out."

I felt a cold chill run down my spine my body would not stop trembling, this time ime sure of it, this is power, true power of the purest form.

"Kid hold this."

before I knew it the shopkeeper stud in front of me with a weird red rock in his hand.

after I toke it it disappeared like it was never there.

I felt my body grow stronger My senses became charger and countless pieces of information inter my brain. 

A cultivation technique,  a hand to hand technique and a skill that allows me to transform by body partly in to a dragon, like my skin, hands, feet, legs. ..

"Sir what was that?"

"Purified dragon blood."

I don't get it but I know I got a real treasure this time.

"Thank you very much Sir."

I know that he will provably want something in return but I don't care with this I just became the most promising youth in my family. 

I got to know a god like mage.

"Don't sweat it, can you by any chance make sure none of those government guys come bother me any more?"

"That would be difficult, my family mostly does buisness. But I can talk to my uncle he is a general in the army. Maybe he can help you sir."

I wasn't gone hide it, my family may be one of the richest but we don't realy get involved with politics except my uncle.

my dad told me uncle Joe fell deeply in love with a girl from a smaller family. 
 
grandpa didn't like that and forbade him from marring her, but he did anyways, because of that grandpa forced him to join the army and disowned him.

But in he was still his son so using his connections grandpa made sure he got to another good place and now nearly 35 years later he became a general.

whenever they meet they fight but we all know they such a strong bond they just don't want to admit it.

"Haha, that's even better, here give him this."

once the orb touched my hand a message appeared in front of me.

[do you want to learn more ocean cutting sword?] [Yes/No]

"That's a 3 star sword techniques, ocean cutting sword, just make sure he gets it." 

"Yes sir."

I chose no.

I didn't need any techniques now that I have the dragon blood bit I still want a couple some to bring home and show grandpa one for both my bodyguards and I want to look around more to see if I can find out anything about the changes happening. 

I also wanted Phil and Gorge to use the appraisal room but the results were very sad they're best stat was strength  and they both had a 3 for it.

It's probably because they are level 0 the haven't killed any monsters.

As I walked out of the shop the shopkeeper also left closing the door he walked away, I wondered were he was going but that has nothing to do with me.

I didn't go to my own house.
 
No I want to the family home I usually don't like going there, there's no privacy there I can still hear the maids talking behind my back.

But today I had to go talk to grandpa.

Arriving at the gate I saw Dany he's one of the guards I used room hang out with when I was younger. 

The other kids made fun of me for it even the adults said I was crazy for wanting the guards to teach me stuff like how to use a gun, how to clean it, self defense, martial arts...

Honestly without that training I don't think I could have survived the giant ant attack.

I went directly to the main house. I asked one of the guards if grandpa was home and he seems to be Going up to his study I noted three times on the door.

"Come in."

walking in I saw a beautiful study find with books, papers and trachea scattered around grandpa must have his hands full right now with the sudden appearance of those monsters.

"Grandpa I don't have good new."

hearing my voice he looked up at me.

Although he's in his 80's he seems to have been as strong as ever. 

as he put down his pencil he let out outage site.

I walked closer to the desk and put down 3 orbs 

"Please touch any of them."

"Jacob what are these? I realy don't have time right now."

he said as he picked one up I saw his eyes open wide with choke.

" That one was a list of herbs and had some basic alchemy formulas. this one has a 2 star sword techniques and this one has the magic spell small fine ball."

"Where did you get these?"

It took me half a hour to explain everything that happened these last three days.

"Hahaha good, good."

It almost seems like grandpa became 10 years younger.

We decided to gather all the most trusted, talented and or young people here tomorrow and go to the magic store to get them all appraised and try to buy some magic books and honestly any other book the shopkeeper wants to sell us.

I was traped in a dungeon for a while and now the world is being takeover by monsters.
