It's been another month since i came to the Einzbern Castle but this month, i spend my time teaching Irisviel talking patterns and social interactions, the one teaching being the anti social me of course it wasn't perfect but she will have to fix those herself in time as we progress.

Irisviel: Then why aren't you reading ?

Akihiko: I have already read those, i just brought them for you and i am going to build a present for you while you finish them.

The books here are just lighthearted history, some slice of life novels ect. and yes HP counts as slice of life if you compare it to average life of a magus.

Akihiko: It's a surprise someone gives to another for special occasions or just wants to give.

This reaction is what i am working towards, that glimmer of expectation, that light in her eye that's carrying emotions.

While my plan is in motion i have took an book out of the necklace for myself, while it may have been to just "create" a car that's running with prana, i enjoy the building process itself.

So for this i am further researching into runes in my head since i can finally use the shiny ones that needs divinity and i am also reading about cars and it's components, how does engines work, how the wheels gets wired to the steering wheel ect.

I am going to build this stuff from scratch while making a Prana/Chakra powered engine for it, it's going to work and sound like a car but it won't have all the nasty bad sides of destroying the environment.

Our lives went along as Irisviel slowly read her books and i started to draw a concept look for the internal of the car.

At some point i finally decided to introduce her to movies, i didn't show her any Sci Fi or any fantasy ficton since her common sense is not at the point of differencing it from reality, i don't want her to think there are real Jedi out there... Well technically there are in a another universe but that's not the point.

So she got to watch stuff like Forest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, sometimes comedy, i really wanted to make her watch, Scary Movie(not horror it's the name of it) but i held back even i have no idea how that would effect her.

For the whole year she read books, watched movies and asked me questions about them and things she didn't understand and there were some deep questions there like, "Why people hurt each other" or "Why did they hit children" or "Why wars happen" like seriously even i don't know the answers for those, i just gave her my opinions on them while adding that these are my views and it could change from person to person.

She seemed like she was reaching to a conclusion with every anwser i gave her.

At the end of the year in december. One could see Irisviel looking after some winter flowers in the garden of the castle.

This part of the garden is hers, she wanted to look after a living being, well she first asked for a pet but i gave the opinion of flowers.

I doubt a pet would stay as a pet here, up in the mountains filled with wolves and bears.

Anyway, i observe her as she took care of her garden then she stopped and turned to me.

Irisviel: Akihiko, may i ask something ?

She seems fidgety like she's embarrassed to ask whatever she's going to ask.

Akihiko: Sure, don't hold back.

Irisviel: Can i ask about your life ? ... I mean we always watched those movies and i am reading those books but i am starting to feel they don't really reflect reality, like i have watched people live their lives but even in those ones that set in medieval time doesn't reflect our lives.

After that she talked about the difference of the lives of people in fictional works and our own.

While she expressed that she wanted something "Genuine" i just had a brilliant smile on my face.

Finally she grew up and realized the difference. I didn't want to make her watch movies and just after that say "Hey those are not real" it's like Santa, child should realize that it's not real on their own. At least that's my opinion.

Irisviel: Mou! i am saying something serious here please don't laugh at me *Pouts*

Damn it, she's too cute, going to her side i just pinched her cheeks and patted her head.

Akihiko: hahaha i am not laughing at you, i was just happy that you realized what's different between fiction and real life.

After Irisviel's awakening to common sense and her subsequent realization of what's real or not, i introduced her to Sci Fi and Fantasy genre's.

She wasn't all that exited about fantasy since you know we're living in a world with magecraft and magic.

On the other hand she started to ask stuff about my life, i have made a confusion barrier that surrounding two of us to make sure we're not being listened and filled her in on my real identity of Sixth Magician, there's no reason to lie to her.

She being a Homunculus came equipped with knowledge of important people and that of course includes me as well.

Irisviel: What! if you're the Sixth Magician why seek the grail ? doesn't your power alter reality ?

To her question i explained chakra and how i made them buy it Sixth Magic by the end of my explanation she was really amused at me fooling the whole moonlit world.

Irisviel: But then again, why seek the grail if you have such powers ?

Akihiko: Answer is, i am not seeking the grail.

Irisviel: Then why go through such long preparations to get hired and bother with the family head ?

To this question i pointed at her, this is going to be a cheesy line but there's just no other way to put it.

Akihiko: It's going to sound weird but i am just here for "you".

She halted for a while before continuing.

Irisviel: What do you mean ?

Akihiko: Don't misunderstand me, i am here for "you" not the grail.

Irisviel: I don't understand how did you knew about me back then to prepare for all of this.

Akihiko: Iris, you have just awakened your personality and you're already confused, i will answer all of your questions in time but can you shelve that question for now.

It has been two years since i came here meaning there's 8 years left for the war, during this time i managed to "crack" Acth's head and got him to pack up everything Einzberns owned in a discreet manner.

Also since he's under my thumb i don't need the whole, "She needs to watch Star Wars Marathon to understand society" deals and excessive use of Kotoamatsukami.

Now days Acth could be seen acting polite even to his maids and being relatively humane, who would have thought he would became more humanlike after i messed with his head anyway.

The reason i want the Einzberns is that i have finally have a life supporting planet inside me Yaaay!

What that's about you might ask and here's the answer.

I already have the ownership of the Naruto World and i will own this one after my business is done but there's nothing better than your own creation.

In this case my plan is making a giant dungeon in Naruto and Nasuverse worlds that will spread my religion and those who get in and survive will be transferred to the "New World" 

My own world, where resources are plenty and chakra is dense, yes i am going with chakra and the dungeon itself will help people adjust to it, only those who pass through the challenges shall step on the "New World"

The beasts inside will be either be made by me or will be transferred from the two worlds but no peaceful beast shall be used as monsters. Peaceful races like faires get free tickets inside.

There's even a prize for being early, those who finish early will become the moderator gods of the place and those who reach the new world first and transferred into my version of Valhalla or Olympus or whatever.

Don't get me wrong when i say this though to go through the dungeon you need both physical and mental strength and i will make sure to cut the bad seeds before they bloom.

Not like i can end all evil but i can choose the what kind of evil i will allow.

What about the ones don't give a shit or can't participate, fear not. The dungeon is not mandatory.

Those who want to stay in their own world will stay in their own world. Living and dying reincarnating and eventually they will get in the dungeon.

After 10-100 generations whole Nasuverse and Naruto World will transferred to my own world, It's not perfect but this is the best i could come up with.

I am going to have the Einzberns Homunculus act like Valkyries but they will have their own will, they will just have set of rules that shouldn't be broken.

Not like i am arrogant or childish like the generic gods.

Having left the mirror house, Grimm sought a hidden place and recovered his magical force to the maximum. Then he checked his crystal ball to see if his teammates had contacted him, which showed that no information had been received.
Grimm headed randomly in the forest since he had been warned by a mysterious force not to touch a second mirror, and his teammates were nowhere to be found.
Grimm's strong signals emanating from his chain mark had kept all the other students along his way off, although he had tried his best to contain them.
After a few hourglasses of wandering in the forest, he bumped into a leopard. The leopard seemed very hungry as if it had not eaten any food for days. Being strong and agile, it still didn't have the courage to hunt the prey in front of it. As the Chinese saying goes, 'A cooked duck flies away,' meaning that the leopard had to let go of a ready meal even while it was starving.
Animals could sense Grimm's signals, too.
When Grimm arrived at a clearing, he sat on the ground for a rest.
As Grimm was meditating to relax as well as to improve his mental strength, he could detect a strong wave of signals not far from him. Actually, whoever had sent out these signals had been stalking even before Grimm met the leopard. An hourglass later, Grimm's crystal ball received a message. It was Nina. Grimm was excited, and he sped up towards Nina. He had been rambling in this woods for almost a day and had finally contacted one of his friends.
Soon, Grimm came before an expansive mushroom land. Mushrooms abounded in this forest, and there was nothing worthy of mention about it. Grimm took notice of these fungi, but he could not care less when he cut across the land. When he accidentally stamped on a mushroom, its cap (pileus) exploded and the spores on the underside of the cap were spurted out and then pervaded the air.
Grimm's head became completely dizzy, and everything around him faded and became twisted as though they were unreal.
"Sh*t! I have been attacked by fantasy sorcery! It was triggered by scent." Grimm was panicked. "And the effect was amplified by my enhanced sense of smell."
The fantasy sorcery was not initiated by any students. The mushrooms did it. It was a trap devised by nature. Grimm's necklace was supposed to defend fantasy strikes like this, but this time, it failed to be effective possibly because this psychedelic worked out a magic through Grimm's advanced olfactory system.
As Grimm became dizzier, he recalled how his symbiotic insects - the Gadflies - could fight against curses and other fantasy sorceries. He then stimulated the Gadflies in his body, and the insects moved and hummed, producing unbearable noises in his ears. The penetrating buzz brought Grimm to sobriety in a few seconds.
"That was close." Grimm felt relieved.
He had endured the dizziness for only less than a minute, but in that minute, Grimm was extremely vulnerable to attacks, since he was stripped of his defense power completely. Luckily, when he was struggling, his chain mark released large amount of power which, in a sense, deterred potential invaders.
Grimm stepped backwards and carefully navigated away from the mushroom land.
Grimm was fortunate when the Gadflies saved his life by helping him regaining his consciousness. When the insects were acting in his belly to fight against his vertigo, Grimm felt that part or parts of his body were responding to the Gadflies. And the reaction affected Grimm in some strange way.Yet, he could not articulate how.
"Did the reaction relate to the special abilities of the Gadflies as mentioned in the books?" Grimm asked himself. "Does it have something to do with the Life Code?" Grimm packed a piece of the exploded mushroom, thinking that it may be used in later experiments for the Life Code.
Grimm was hungry now, and he took out two bars of compressed meat to satiate his hunger. When he was half full, his expression suddenly became intense.
"A chain mark that has over 30 points of power? Who could it be?"
At the time, Grimm and the mysterious man who both had over 30 points of power were sending out vigorous waves of signals that formed an unusual space.
"Who are you? Your chain mark has over 30 points of power— the first one I met here with such ability," Grimm asked.
The other student looked horrifyingly pale. He ran his eyes through Grimm but did not reply. Instead, he played with a mouse that was standing on his shoulder.
"A mouse? The arrogance? Could it be Kyrie?" Grimm thought.
Grimm saw Kyrie back on the ship twice. The first time was when Kyrie and Brianna coming to the deck to watch the pirates who escaped. The other occasion was when Kyrie fought with Sorcerer Dior against the giant octopus. Ever since the students set their feet on Black Isotta, Kyrie and Brianna — the two geniuses — had been taken away by the wrinkle-faced witch, and Grimm had never seen them, and vice versa. And the student looked extremely pale. That was why he could not recognize Kyrie in the first place.
"Kyrie?" Grimm attempted a question.
"Are you from the Black Isotta?" Kyrie reacted to the question.
"Ye..."
Grimm was interrupted. Kyrie didn't care where he was from or it could be said that he was afraid of meeting a school fellow because he had been told by his mentor to not to kill anyone who belonged to the Black Isotta. It would not be a sin if he was not aware of the sin when he committed it.
"You have a strong chain mark. Hope you could be a rival!" Kyrie's pale face turned vicious.
When Grimm heard the word "rival", his body shook. He had witnessed what Kyrie was capable of
back on the ship. In the academy, he had been "taken care of" by the designated best sorcerers as a talented student. God knew how many powerful sorceries he commanded.
A creaking sound broke.
It turned out that Kyrie had forced an attack on Grimm. Grimm responded quickly by generating his Shield. The shield sagged greatly as if it was hit by something blunt.
The offense came quickly and went quickly, too. After the attack was retracted, the shield reverted to its original state.
To block the offense, Grimm had consumed a large share of his magical force.
"How powerful was that attack! It must have contained 80-90 points of offense power." Grimm sweated.
80-90 points of offense power was a value that Grimm could not achieve!
"Haha, the shield worked good. Try this one!" Kyrie smiled.
Grimm did not have the time to take a preemptive strike, and the second assault came.
Undoubtedly, Grimm produced the shield again. This time, Grimm was attacked as if by a ramming rhinoceros. When the invisible force slammed the shield, Grimm's magical force was immediately depleted. As a result, he was pushed 7 or 8 steps backwards before he could steady himself.
"The offense power exceeded 100 points. Even with the help of my magical ring, I can't take any more such attacks." Grimm was now in a dire situation. His life was in severe danger.
"That magical tool of yous is powerful. Receiving such a tool from your mentor will get you and your mentor punished, don't you know that? You violated the Seven Rings' rules," Kyrie sneered.
Seizing the moment, Grimm produced the Firebird by consuming the magical force offered by his magical ring to take the initiative.
Kyrie pointed to the Firebird, and the bird then spun fast and was gone. Seconds later, it exploded about 200 meters away.
"No wonder he was reputed the most talented student in the last 100 years. Lilith Sorcerer Academy was right. He is way powerful than me." Grimm sighed.
"Now, let's try the physical attack." Kyrie pulled out a dagger and threw it towards Grimm.
Grimm knew that the shield would not block the dagger since it had such low level of magical force. So he created the Vine to track and hopefully entangle the dagger.
Surprisingly, the vine ensnared the dagger and pulled it to the ground.
"Haha, interesting." The same smile appeared on Kyrie's face.
"You are good. You have a powerful magical tool. More important than that, you are able to use it. Magical tools are levers, and you made good use of them. That is what is great about you." Kyrie continued while Grimm was standing there, pretending to be fine.
"Still, you and your mentor have breached the Seven Rings rules for the trial. I will tell my mentor about it, and you will be punished."
Kyrie finished the appraisal and the threat and then left.


"Grant me infinite knowledge, and I shall be as a fulcrum, to move the endless world!"

Entangled within the machinations of fate, political schemes, power struggles, and wars, he forges his own path and creates a place for himself.

Considering that I can't easily get good gear right now, I should probably try to learn skills and abilities that are effective on people in the holy/lighy class, and probably resistance skills towards holy/light attacks would also be a good idea.

Since I probably could build a resistance towards holy/light attacks in the Nether, it would be best to learn some offensive skills towards holy/light classes.

Yozora:"Wait, I shouldn't just focus on offensive skills towards holy/light classes since that wouldn't help me survive right now. I should probably learn a skill from another element; dark and fire based skills would be easier for me to learn, but would also be expected of me since of my high affinity towards them, plus I was also spawned in the Nether.

The best action to take would be learning summoning and lightning based skill since it's the next easiest element I can practice, since It helps me both survive in the Nether and maybe surprise the heroes.

Although saying all this, I should throw away dark and fire based skills totally since they still come in handy. I just shouldn't focus on dark and fire skills since the heroes will most likely spend most there time learning and practicing skills towards countering them"

Yozora:"Oh, hey System, Can you tell me what information the heroes will be given of me?"

System:Yes, the Hero group will be told that a person from earth has been reincarnated to play the role as the villain with only the knowledge from their past live, no memories. The Villain has been given a head start of currently 2 days to establish a domain in the Nether, which is where the Villain has been reincarnated, and also allowed to capture 30% of the Overworld before they/Heroes have been summoned.

Yozora:"That's good, they have only a little information about me. But since I can ask you question that I assume about the heroes, that only indirectly helps me, like the hero class question I had earlier, I have the upper hand in information and time to prepare"

System:...

Yozora:"Considering that I'm probably the first villain this world has, they won't know the class I get unlike me... Wait why don't have class? Should I have a villain class?"

System:No. Although there isn't any villain class, the User can still gain unholy/dark class types base on the User's level, skills, abilities, affinities, and actions. An example of unholy/dark class types the User can gain is: Demon Lord, Warlock, Destroyer, Conquerer, and Death Bringer.

Yozora:"... What happens if I don't choose a unholy/dark type class?"

System:Not possible, the User has a 100% chance of having a unholy/dark class types as an option every time even if the User hasn't completed the requirements need to gain that class. Plus even if the User doesn't select a unholy/dark type class every time there's a class choice, the User will be force to selected one on your last class selection, which is level 1,000.

Yozora:"... Isn't that kinda poorly designed? I bet that my fight with the heroes won't be that high of a level or that end game"

System:Although I get what the User is saying, the reason the User can choose a class was due to wanting the User to have a much freedom as possible. A Villain mostly doesn't follows the rules after all.

Yozora:"Huuu... I should stop getting side track, I should focus on my survive and preparing for the future right now. First daily training"

Finishing my last blade stroke, I think of what to do since there was almost nothing much to do considering that I'm still in this god forsaken cave system.

Yozora:"Hmmm... I should probably start trying to learn a summoning or lightning skill. Hey System, I there any way to do that?"

System:Yes, the User can buy manuals or skill books to practice or learn certain skills the User wants.

Yozora:"What would you recommend?"

System:Depending what the User wants. An example of this is if the User want an easy beginner lightning based skill, the manual or skill book for Lightning Palm would work the best. But the downside of the Lightning Palm is that it's just a beginner technique, which is almost useless last game.

Yozora:"Find, I want something easy for me right now, but can be expanded on later. Like something that has steps or tier that can later be used late game"

System:The best matches for the User description and requirements are Lightning Style Jutsu. But if the requirements is just something easy and can be used late game, Lightning Slayer Magic.

Yozora:"... Aren't they from Naruto and Fairy Tail?"

System:Mostly, Lightning Style Jutsu doesn't take chakra. User should remember that this world is a fantasy world based on off ideas, imagination, and ideals of the beings that are reincarnated, summoned, or transported from earth to here.

Yozora:"Does that mean these "techniques" are based off my ideas and imagination from watching anime?"

System:Yes, It did play a part.

Yozora:"Ha, You said part, that mean it isn't fully because of me that some aspects of anime are now in this world"

Since I didn't want to learn or do hand signs, because they allow others to know what you're going to do and would probably be a hassle to learn, I scratch the idea of learning Lightning Style Jutsu.

Yozora:"The way you worded that means there's other ways to get better discounts. What are they?"

System:Certain items can be used to decrease the price of certain items and skills in the System's Store. An example of this would be if the User wanted to buy a potion, the User can decrease the cost by collecting some or all of the ingredients.

Yozora:"I'll keep that in mind. So System, is there any skills that is both summoning and lightning related?"

System:Yes, the System recommends manual or skill book for Lightning Summoning Magic. This magic meets the requirements of the User's previous requirements, but the only downside to it would be that the User personal wouldn't get stronger compare to the Lightning Slayer Magic.

Yozora:"It's good enough for now. Show me the manual for it"

Yozora:"I can probably buy that after another 9 rounds of killing those flower monsters again"

Remembers that my inventory full of monster flower corpses, Yozora:"Before that, what should I do with all these? It would be wasteful to just leave them on the ground"

"Certain times, it's really fun to discover the inner feelings; we may get lost sometimes but we can find a way out.
Because we never know what will happen next. We live in present but our heart leaves in future."


We went inside Dal.Komm Coffee café, it's my favorite café and basically I come here when I have a fight or arguments with my mum or dad due to regular issues. I come here and write songs.

This is one of the place where I feel peace at it's level; because no one bothers me here or nags me for what I do.

We ordered coffee. Our order came in no time. And while looking at the coffee; I was staring at her too. Until she broke the ice, "Ahh...Am I not weird for not asking your name till now?"

"Basically, no. you're not weird." And I smiled at her.

"I'm always a curious bird. I'm Jeon Sihyun. Nice to meet you." And she again smiled;

"I'm Han Min. Nice to meet you too." She was still smiling genuinely at me. "So... Sihyun; let's discover each other. Discovering each other will be fun. Even though we met today, yet I wanna know you more; cause it seems fun discovering each other."

"Sure, why not. So... Min. I'm here on a break cause... honestly I'm fed up. Like... everyone in my family keeps on saying that I shouldn't waste my time on books and dancing. But all of my happiest moments are related with books; even when I write or read and when I dance or write songs. I wanted a pause so that I will discover myself and start working on what I love. So, here I am to spend some days without letting anyone know and that's the reason I need to return tomorrow only." I let her complete, I didn't wanted myself to interrupt her; she was looking a bit sad earlier while saying but when she mentioned books and dance she smiled; this shows how much she loves Dance and books.

Who doesn't like books? They are interesting and lets us escape from this cruel world.

"So, you write books? And even lyrics? You're damn talented Sihyun" I asked her.

"Nothing like that Min," she was smiling shyly. Her shy smile was cute  "I do write books and lyrics.. like; it's like I wanna comfort everyone with my songs. I want that whenever anyone listens to my song; that person will be feel comforted and will appreciate his existence. " Her purposes of writing songs made me curious about her more; and books too. 

"What kinds of songs do you write and which genre books do you like?" I asked again like a curious bunny.

"You won't laugh? even if I say my weird fantasies?" I nodded as a reply

"I love fantasy and romance basically, I write books keeping the theme as fantasy and romance like how life changes when a girl meets her soulmate. And about lyrics; I do write lyrics about love and pain. And recently, I've been writing about how a girl overcame her breakup and started relying on a boy and that boy loves her; that helps people to have the hope of love in life. While writing I never think whether people will appreciate me or hate me for my works yet I love writing cause I think maybe in life I'll get someone who will appreciate me one day" she said with a mixed feelings. Somewhere I feel both of us are going through somewhat same situations. "So, Min, what's your hobby?" she asked me with her curious looking eyes.

"I read books and play guitar and even sometimes when I feel fed up I start writing songs and with the help of my hyungs I compose songs too. But books and lyrics comes first above everything. But all of these things seems useless infront of my parents but I love doing all these things. I love music because MUSIC HEALS." I heaved a sigh. and she started sipping her drink.

"That's actually great; you know Min. But don't worry, I understand how you feel" she said while sipping her cappuccino. I looked outside and it was nearly evening and she followed my gaze and also looked outside and when I saw her she was AWE-STUCK. I bet she had fallen in love with Busan beauty. And looking at her like this I came up of an idea.

"It's nearly evening, the sun must be kissing the sea; watching the sun kissing the sea; and that kiss is always worth; and the beach side is the best during this time as well. So, Let's go Sihyun." Hearing this she hurriedly completed her drink and both of us got up. 

We went to counter to pay and I paid. I'm a regular customer her so basically the workers know me very well. They are more like my acquaintance. While paying; the guy at the counter named as 'Yohan' smiled at us and said, "Hey Min, dude you finally came here with a girl. Is she your girlfriend?" 

"Aniyo!" I protested him. I saw both of us were smiling and Sihyun looking down and blushing; her cheeks flashed a cute pink tint. Again Yohan said "But both of you do look!" 
And then he approached Sihyun "You know, Min never brought a girl with him. You're the first one and you should feel honored." and smiled. Eventually Sihyun started laughing and I felt embarrassed.

"Enough Yohan. Bye" I said and we left the café. Sihyun was walking infront of me.

"Mass is not proportional to volume.
A girl as small as violet... a girl who moves like a flower petal...
Is pulling me toward her with more force than her mass.
Just then, like Newton's apple, I rolled towards us without stopping until I fell on her with a thump.'

Something was going on my mind and I wanted to say it and I was about to call Sihyun and say but then I thought it would be better if I let it out. So, I did, "Sihyun, will you be my girlfriend?" and she looked back at me with a smile on her face.

"I hope I can be with you for just one day."	

It's a story of a boy and how he met a girl for the first time and wanted to spend the first and last day with her. Something was there between... them. They had somewhat similar story; they shared the same taste in books, music. Even though they met for the first time and the feelings were new to them yet they felt each other very comfortable.
After they spend their first and last day... will they meet ever again? Or their fate has decided something else?

It has been a few days now since Venture came into this world. The surrounding is a bit more on the line of futuristic buildings, together with fantasy-style as well. The buildings are mostly at the average of two stories high, with a few being higher and lower.  

Completely different from his own world. Sure, some of the people here wear clothes, that's modern. But, there is no internet, much to Venture's horror upon finding this out on the first day here and almost made a scene once he checked the local library to gain Intel in this world by doing the same thing Venture usually do when in the need to research for anything. By using the internet; however, that fail completely when there were no computers in the library.

Okay, there is just a high chance that the local library Venture visited didn't have the fund to buy a computer and he highly doubts that with the size of the library. Since the building is big enough to be a mansion for someone rich to stay at. But, this mansion size library is just to hold all these books, which Venture happily used to learn about this world after asking a few people to find the section of books he needed. But, there is still no computers at all and much to his paranoia. Venture asked about it, but no one has any idea what a computer is, even after Venture did his best to describe it. 

So yeah, no luck with computers, which means no internet. This is something horribly for those who always on the internet every single day. Nevertheless, this was fine for Venture after discovering something very important about this world. That made it much easier to deal with a world without the internet. And that is something on the line of living like in a video game, but at the same time not.

Venture doesn't gamble that much, other than gambling in online games with gacha system in them, much to his endless regret on wasting so much money on it. Anyway, Venture did some research while making sure no one finds it weird of him reading about something that commonly known for everyone else in this world. 

The first thing is the name. Venture wonder if this fate or something, because in this world. Everyone is named after their [Skill] and [Title]. As his name means risky and gambling is always a risky thing to do.  Venture does wonder if he would obtain a different [Skill] and [Title] if his name was something else. Food for the thought. 

Further into detail about names is that everyone in this world below the age of 10 is nameless. At the age of 10 is when everyone awakens their [Skill] and [Title]. One [Skill] and one [Title]. No more, no less. 

Children before the age of 10 are addressed as a child and their parent's names. For example, going with Venture's name if he had a kid. They'll be called as Child of Venture. Weird, but this would help Venture by getting a hint of what the other people's [Skill] and [Title] are.  Also, it seems like people here don't have a last name at all.  

Venture has no idea if there is a way for others to check people's [Skill] and [Title], but he will come across that in the future. 

Now, going into the [Skill] and [Title]; both are very important in this world. Like really important for everyone's life. For one thing, there are two types of [Skill] that are [Normal Skill] and [Unique Skill]. [Normal Skills] are what most people would unlock and even some people can unlock the same [Normal Skill]. While the [Unique Skill] is something one in a million chance of awakening, where it is very powerful and only one person can have it. No one else can have it, period. 

Of course, having [Normal Skill] doesn't make one weak and/or useless. This is where the [Title] comes in. Because everyone will always have different [Title], where one has awakened the [Normal Skill: Fireball] and the [Title: Fire Manipulator]. This allows the user to freely manipulate their [Skill: Fireball]  in any way they like. 

Now, with [Unique Skill]. People who awaken these [Unique Skill] will always have a [Title] related to their [Unique Skill], but this could be considered a blessing or a curse. For example, someone awakens the [Unique Skill: Heavenly Cooking], allowing the user to cook anything that so good. It can't possibly exist in the mortal realm and must be something only could be found in Heaven. However, they could awaken the [Title: Maker of Poison], where everything the person cooked would turn into poison. But, of course, the food is still delicious. It's just that the consumers have the potential to die from food poisoning, no matter how good it is. They'll still end up being poisoned. 

So in a way, [Normal Skill] holders will have a higher chance of getting some decent to amazing [Title] that would turn their [Normal Skill] into something powerful. While [Unique Skill] holders will have a [Title] that's potential doom themselves and/or those around them in some way. But, at the same time, there is the chance of turning the [Unique Skill] into something godly. 

Finally, health, physical fatigue, and mental fatigue. These three are something has little information or that Venture hasn't found the books with more detail about them. He is leaning to the latter, since it's impossible to find all the right books in this mansion size library without ending up getting lost. Something, that's embarrassing for Venture since he did get lost in this library upon randomly looking for the computers at the time. 

These are in percentage, something that Venture finds a little weird because most video games have an exact number for these kinds of things or none at all. 

Anyway, the health stands for one's health, enough said. Venture will have to do more research to find more about the health stat. 

The physical fatigue from what Venture has read so far. It is the combined form of stamina and hunger. So if one is tried, the physical fatigue goes up in percentage, the same if one is hungry. Of course, this is technically good and bad. Good, because in theory, one can have endless stamina as long one continues to eat. Bad, because no matter if one doesn't do anything. As long as someone gets hungry, then their stamina will be drained too. 

The mental fatigue has less info compared to the previous two. All Venture knows is that doing mental tasks would cause mental fatigue's percentage to go up until it reaches 100%. Something that is very bad, where if anyone does hit 100%. Then, they will feel very dizzy and if they continue to do something mentally. High chance of someone entering into a coma. There have been noted examples of it happening to many people in the past. Same with physical fatigue, but just that one can't move at all at 100% and forcing to would lead to some crippling aftereffects. 

Other than learning about these; Venture did some experiment with his [Unique Skill], much to his excitement of being that someone of one in the million to getting a [Unique Skill]. Though, Venture wonders if he would have awakened a [Normal Skill] instead if he was born in this world. Instead of just randomly pop here with his own body, that has already been awakened the [Unique Skill] and [Title] already. Anyway, Venture was lucky enough to come to this world with his clothes as well, which means the money in his pockets. Especially the coins since Venture could just flip the coin to guess on heads or tails, to gamble. 

Sadly, Venture only had five coins in his pockets while having a few bills in his wallet. Both are technically useless in this world, because the money currency in this world goes by 1 bronze coin, 100 bronze coins equal to 1 silver coin, 100 silver coins equal to 1 gold coin, and any higher, than a gold coin. Venture has no idea.  Nevertheless, at least Venture knows that 15 bronze coins are enough to rent a small size bedroom for a night. 4 apples cost 1 bronze coin. Weirdly enough. So, in a way, renting a small size bedroom for a night is worth 60 apples. 

Then again, Venture could guess why food, even for something small as an apple would worth so much. Because in this world is more on the line of an apocalyptic world. Even now, there are people at the city walls are fighting off the monsters trying to invade the city and kill all the humans. As for what these monsters are. Venture will need to do more searching. 

Getting back on topic; Venture learns that his [Unique Skill] is like a plot armor that's been turned into a [Skill], but at the same time could be a major curse. For one thing, Venture tested it out by using one of the five coins he came with. As for what Venture gamble for with the coin is to find the local library within ten minutes if he gets heads from the coin flip. Luckily, the coin land on heads and the coin literally disappear by fading from existence. 

Ten minutes walking without a destination and Venture reached the local library. Another test is doing the same by finding a computer in 10 minutes if the coin land on heads. Sadly, it didn't and he can't find a computer at all. In fact, Venture would think that computers were erased from this world or something. He wouldn't think such a thing, but with the [Title: Gambler of Fate]. Able to make the impossible possible. So, Venture won't put it pass fate taking away the computer for losing the gamble. Even if for something so simple, but this is enough for Venture to learn a very important lesson from this experiment. 

It's fine winning and all that, but losing is not an option. In fact, Venture planning to gamble something small and be very specific with his words, or figure a way to make the gamble lean on his side more often. Because instead of not finding a computer in 10 minutes. Venture may have made it so the chance of creating a working computer won't be possible for the next 10 years from now. 

It's a good thing Venture has already come up with a way to make it so whenever he loses the gamble. It won't be too extreme and could affect reality itself. As this method helped him gather the money to rent the small size bedroom for a week and enough spare money to afford food to eat at least one a day if Venture uses the money he obtained carefully. 

What Venture did was use another coin, but this time, he made it so that if it lands on heads, he would find money lying around within the next 5 minutes, that's enough for him to live in a building with a roof over his head and at least once meal a day for one week to spend. However, if Venture's coin land on tails. He will have to spend a week outside without any chance of a place to stay inside at all, including rarely find any food to eat. Luck was on Venture side as the coin landed on heads at the time. 5 minutes later, Venture found a small bag with 2 silver coins and 7 bronze coins. 

Venture quickly discards the small bag, not caring if it some kind of special bag or anything. Better not take his chance on it belong to someone important and may end up coming after him upon finding out, that Venture was the one who picked it up. 

So, Venture just needs to place two conditions for what he'll win and what he'll lose in gambling, then he is golden. Of course, Venture tested if he could make the winning side better than the losing side. It did not work. As in, how Venture knows it didn't work; well, the coin didn't disappear as it supposes to. 

Now, with two coins left. Venture did two more tests while keeping the silver and bronze coins to spend instead of using them to gamble. 

In the first test, Venture tried to boost his own luck. By increasing his luck temporarily by double if he wins the gamble, but if Venture loses, then he would have his luck cut in half temporarily for an hour. It landed on tails, which means Venture should have his luck cut in half. Much to Venture's relief and disappointment. It did work as the coin faded away. So Venture had half of his luck for an hour and boy was that bad. But, on the other hand, this means he can actually increase his own luck, which is really broken. 

Venture had to wait an hour later before he starts the last test with the last coin he owns that's from Earth. And man was he happy when the hour was up, because Venture continues to have more than bad luck than usual. One of the bad things happened to him during that one hour is that Venture had food fall all over him by accident when someone was walking pass by. Just by tripping over something and out of everyone in the area. Venture was the one that got hit. 

Anyway, after an hour later and Venture took a shower, then wore a new brand of clothes he had purchased nearby, causing him to have to shorten the amount of food he could buy for the rest of the week. Bad luck there. So, with the last test, to do is to see if Venture could affect others instead of himself. 

Venture uses the last coin to affect a random person's luck. Heads they'll have a brief moment of being lucky in any way and tails for bad luck. Luckily for that random person, because it landed on heads and Venture was very surprised the person found someone they haven't met for years and finally reunited after so long. So, yes, the test to see if he can affect other's luck in any way or gamble with their fate worked. 

Currently, Venture is at the library again and just finished reading a book about what type of the most common jobs many would take in this city. To his surprise, there are many, but the top three are something Venture finds more interesting than the rest. 

The main top of the list, from what Venture has just read. It is to become a servant of someone from the government area, where many important and powerful people live in. As there are many benefits to becoming a servant of even the weakest and lowest person in the government area, to the point that many would envy that person who managed to obtain that servant position. 

The second of the most wanted job is the courier; people who head outside the city to gather resources outside to bring back to the city. This, of course, has a high death rating, so only those who are strong or desperate enough would take this job. High risk with high reward. As there is a 90% chance of death for those that are weak. 

The third most wanted job is the city patrol guard, where these are technical the people that served under the government. Kind of like the servant position, but at the same time not. Because the servant position allows themselves to live in the government area while the city patrol guard can't. 

Out of all three top jobs; the servant position has more benefits, the courier has quicker rewards, and the patrol guard has a higher status among the common people. 

To Venture's disappointment, he couldn't find a book to explain more in detail about this government area. Just that it is a place where people important and very powerful people live in. While the rest of everyone living in the public area. Which is where Venture is at. 

Just the size of this library is in the public area alone has already blown Venture's mind. So he can't imagine the size of the library available in the government area or at least have more valuable information compared to the one in the public area. 

Venture got up from his seat, stretching his muscle before placing the book back into the shelf where he got it from. Then start heading out of the library, which takes almost half an hour. That is how long it usually is to take between the entrance and to the nearest bookshelf of random subjects. 

The first thing Venture did after finish his research is to head out to find a job, not the three top jobs. Not yet anyway, since Venture doesn't have much information on them. 

On another note; Venture wonders why was he chosen to come into this world. With short black hair and eyes, with a bit on the skinny side for a man in his early 20s. With an appearance that could be found easily in the streets. Venture was raised in a normal average life, with enough food to go by every day and was still going into college. Raised by a good family that loves him, he made some decent friends, both in real life and online. Slacking off classes some time to play video games and so on. Overall, he would just be some random person that wouldn't be much noticeable, nor would he be someone to be remembered for years other than a selected few people. 

So honestly, Venture has no idea why he was chosen to come into this world when he doesn't have any special talents that would separate him from his peers. 

Letting out a tired sigh, Venture begins walking around the place that looks like a normal modern-day world, if one just ignores the way some people do something supernatural. Venture has already come across a few people working in a food stall, where at the minimum two people having the [Skills] related to cooking and some way to support the person with the [Cooking Skill]. At this point, Venture knew that to stay low-key. He had to make it look like every time someone uses their [Skills] nearby. Venture must make it like nothing is out of the ordinary upon seeing it happen. 

Today, Venture hopes to find a job that doesn't ask too many questions, where he may or may not know about it. In fact, Venture won't find a job that leans into the shady business of the world. Since he has read about it many novels, to the point that Venture may not be able to handle it and mentally break down. 

Venture know he no strong-will main character, nor was he someone who was trained in martial arts or anything combat-related. The best Venture could think of, that he knows about combat is how to punch and kick right, but that's it. So, no. Venture needs to find a job that is enough for him to live by and doesn't require him to end up fighting in any way. He is no fighter. 

Even cooking would be hard for him since the only thing he knows how to cook was to make instant cup noodles without burning it. So the idea of getting a cooking job is out of the option available for Venture. Plus, Venture got the feeling that he would require to have a [Skill] related to cooking to even be qualified for the job interview. 

Venture could check if there is a casino or something, since with his [Unique Skill]. Those places should be his best bet to hang around. However, Venture won't take the risk at all, even if he could find one. Since Venture has no idea if there are people with [Skill] that could detect other people using their [Skills] to cheat in some way.

Honestly, Venture is being very paranoid with all these kinds of things when it hasn't even happened yet. But, in his opinion; Venture rather be paranoid than end up being captured and used against his will or killed for many reasons.

After a few hours of disappointing job search. Venture begins walking back to the apartment building he has stayed so far. And luckily, the landlord didn't ask any questions that would make it difficult for him. All Venture had to do was pay for the rent and that's it. 

Soon, Venture would have to use his [Unique Skill] again as a way to gain more money, but who knows if his luck would good or bad at the time. However, if by the time Venture used up all his money and still haven't found a job. Then, Venture will have to depend on his luck for the better or worse.

A man who has no idea how he came into this world, but just know that he read lots of stories related to what happened to him, but Venture knows that every day is a chance of him dying either from monsters, fellow humans or even due to bad luck. All Venture knows is that he need to find out why he here and how can he return home, if that even possible.

After we set up the appropriate defensive measures for the dungeon, Orai teleported us over to D2.

When we finally arrived, I noticed that it was a rather lively city. Gods, Dungeon Masters, Vendors, Mobs, builders, etc. were walking around the large, dimensional city. The city was also in the sky, with two islands connected to it by the use of bridges and mystical tree-like roots. I saw the currency of DP being exchanged in its physical form, which was golden coins with the face of a female Goddess on it. As I was taking in these strange sights, Orai began to talk to me.

"While we are here for the mattress, we need to start learning how to build a proper dungeon. Like I said earlier, the primary use of D2 is to gather knowledge and supplies. The first thing we should do is go to D2's premier library to gather that knowledge", Orai said.

As we walked around D2, the architecture seemed to be a mix of Modern and Fantasy. It was pleasing to look at and seemed to made of a material that I was unfamiliar with. The City Of D2 housed Bars, Vendors, Libraries, Rest areas, Training centers, etc. that was made for the Dungeon Masters. We passed by mobs that I've seen in the Market and more powerful mobs that I had yet to see. Some of the vendors were actually subordinates of the Gods they worshipped since some of the souls were reincarnated from Orune. As we walked towards the bookstore, we heard various vendors marketing their products and services:

"Need A Mob? Give A Job! Hire some High-Grade Demons to kill even the most stubborn adventurer! Get a B+ Demon for only 300 DP!"

"Need Some Custom Walls? Hire one of D2's most trusted builders and make your dungeon the stuff of legend! Basic walls starting from 50 DP!"

"Want To Join In The Fight For Your Dungeon? Get some items to defend yourself! Bows, Swords, Magic Scrolls, and more are available for purchase! Starting from only 75 DP!"

There were many vendors marketing the different aspects of a dungeon. The items they made, compared to the marketplace, were either customizable or made by the vendors themselves. The quality of the vendor, evidenced by their assigned letter rank, usually influenced the quality of the items.

"We have around 470 DP so we should be able to get the books and have DP to spare. We should shop for things that can improve the dungeon", I said.

"Yes. I wholeheartedly agree! After we get the books and the food, we will buy stuff for the dungeon!", Orai said happily.

"Oi! That's not what I said! We aren't wasting our DP on food yet! Are you actually a foodie? Didn't you say the dungeon comes first?", I said.

In front of Orai and I was the 'Premier Library Of Excellence', also known as PLOE. PLOE was a large, mystical structure, which looked to be even larger from the inside. As we entered the building, we could see that the bookshelves in the library reached towards the heavens. We saw what looked to be angels, demons, and fairies casually carrying the books above us while we walked to the front desk.

"I thought Demons and Angels hated each other? How are they working together in here?", I said.

"Remember when I said that Dungeon Masters can be good or evil? The God Of War wanted both types of dungeon masters to have the resources they need to run a successful dungeon. The library employees also act as endorsers of their party since Dungeon Masters come to the PLOE to become knowledgable", Orai said.

When we got to the front desk, we were greeted with a divine looking woman. When she looked up from her book, she began to smile.

"Orai! How are you doing! I heard that you recently came online yesterday! The books tell me that you are looking for something specific?", the woman said.

"Jordan. This is the Goddess of Wisdom, Mera. She is one of the smartest people in D2 and the person in charge of the PLOE. She also oversees the selection of Dungeon Cores with the God Of War", Orai said.

"Hidarus may be more brute then brains but it looks like he chose a good Dungeon Master. Not many Dungeon Masters lean toward the cute side..."

"Hey! Mera! We are here to learn how to build a dungeon! Not to hear some old Goddess hit on a Dungeon Master!", Orai pouted.

"You're no fun, Orai! I'm only around 30 in Goddess terms! As for the books, I already have what you are looking for. They're right here", Mera said.

Mera reached under the massive front desk and gave us three books. The titles and prices were the following:

How To Build A Dungeon Like A Pro! by Hidarus [50 DP]
Encyclopedia of Mobs and Monsters! by Mera [50 DP]
99 Ways To Make The Best Food In D2! by Ambri [30 DP]

"That'll be 130 DP, please", Mera said.

Before I got to argue about the last book, Orai walked over to Mera and gave her 130 DP. It seemed that Orai was able to generate our DP on command since the DP was stored with the core.

"Thanks for being a member of the PLOE! We hope to see you again next time!", Mera said peacefully.

As we walked out of the PLOE, Orai put 2 of the books in Dungeon Storage. Since we had 340 DP left to spend, we decided it was time to get stuff for the dungeon. We knew that another room would cost 100 DP and a hallway would cost 50 DP so we had to factor that in. That left us with 190 DP to spend on Dungeon items to fill those new spaces.

"According to this book by Hidarus, we need to hire a Dungeon Architect to effectively build out the dungeon. Do you have any idea where to find people like that?", I said.

"Of course! We need to head to the Dwarven District and see who's looking for work! If we are lucky, we'll find one who is also good at carpentry so he can make a new bed for us", Orai said confidently.

As we both aggressively nodded in agreement, we headed over the dwarven district to find our new architect.

It took around 20 minutes but we made it over to the dwarven district. Every building in the district was exceptionally well made and shining in the sunlight. The craftsmanship of the dwarves was on full display for us to see.

"Luckily, after we hire the dwarf, he'll only want food and booze as opposed to daily DP payments. This is part of the reason that architects are the people that Dungeon Masters buy first. However, this also means that the dwarves can deny rookie dungeon masters if they don't like them", Orai said.

As we walked along the dwarven district, we passed by the many bars and pubs that the dwarves built to satisfy their need for alcohol. We passed by many different vendors of dwarven products and services but couldn't find what we were looking for. Either the vendor was too much, too little, too weak, too mean, too nice, or a variety of other faults that we encountered. We spent around 2 hours searching the dwarven district but was unable to find the dwarf that would solve our problems. Before we left D2, we headed towards one of the more popular pubs in the district: The Drunken Sprite.

"I'm so tired of searching for this damn dwarf, I don't even care that this isn't one of the restaurants I wanted to visit", Orai said exhaustedly.

As we walked in, we saw a group of angry Dwarves teaming up against a single dwarf!

"Who the hell do you think you are, Briggs? You talk shit all over our crafts, consistently insult us personally, and then you have the nerve to show your face in this pub? Is your brain as small as your pecker?", one of the dwarves said. The dwarves had a unique, dwarven accent which was slightly slurred by their drunkenness.

As we watched the dwarves fight for a few minutes, Briggs was somehow holding his own. I'm guessing it was thanks to his muscles and quick reflexes since he was actually winning a 5 vs 1. Eventually, three D2 knights came into the pub and took the aggressors away. The dwarves were significantly more bruised than Briggs so the soldiers had to carry the dwarves on their backs. Since Briggs wasn't the aggressor, he was only told off with a warning. Judging from how the pub reacted, it seemed that bar fights were common in the Dwarven District. It didn't seem like anyone cared what happened.

After seeing that his letter rank was an A+, I decided to recruit him to the best of my ability. Even if the chances of him joining were small, we had nothing to lose at this point.

"Hey! Briggs! Let a Dungeon Master buy you a drink!", I shouted.

"Buy me 10 and I'll call you whatever you want!", Briggs smiled.

When Aura was just 25 years old, he fell in love with a game, a game that was straight from his childhood dreams.

This game, released by Forgotten Industries, was a second world to mankind, featuring all the things that players could wish for.

Aura was one of the few players who chose to play classless, a path that has no limits, but every piece of power the player obtains must be earned. There are no bonus stat points, no skill points, no inherent attributes or innate abilities.

To play classless is to play on hard mode in a game where character death is mostly permanent.

But many players still chose it, at least at first.

The rules for classes were published by the developers long in advance of the game's release.

There are four forces, and each force has one main class and two border classes, with border classes being classes split between two forces. The forces are Life, Nature, Magic, and Void, with there being a total of eight classes available to starting players.

Life: Warrior
Nature: Druid
Magic: Wizard
Void: Rogue

Border Classes
Life and Nature: Cleric
Life and Magic: Paladin
Nature and Void: Ranger
Void and Magic: Necromancer

There are also countless auxiliary classes, advanced classes, hidden classes and more, each of which give bonus stat points every level, as well as giving bonuses to skill growth, inherent skills and innate abilities.

The downside to having a class is that the moment you choose one, you have a maximum level, each class can reach level 100, and once you reach level 100, you have to pick another class, but each time you choose a class you are forever forgoing numerous other classes, and theoretically, someone who has chosen a class can never surpass level 10,000, whereas classless has no level limit.

In Ascendance, upon each level up, a playef character recieves one point in each stat, Strength (STR), Agility (AGI), Constitution (CON), Intelligence (INT), and Wisdom (WIS), as well as one free stat point. A class grants an additional 3 stat points, with 2 in the class's main stat and 1 in its secondary stat. This means that a player with a class will recieve 300 additional stat points every 100 levels over classless players, at the disadvantage that players with a class would be unable to learn skills of opposing forces as well as losing out on some  unimportant options in the future.

At an equal level, a player with a class has a significant advantage over a classless player, to the point that it can be considered unfair.

Aura stuck with classless because he hated being unable to do what he wanted, when he wanted. If he wanted to learn the skills of two opposing forces then he would be unable to if he chose a class, and due to his character's mediocrity, he would never stand out and get attacked or robbed. Classless was the best choice for him.

And Ascendance was different than other games, how storng you were depended mostly on your knowledge and experience, as there were very few ways to forcefully learn a skill. Someone who knows how to swing a sword will have a higher level in the Swordplay skill than someone who doesn't. Upon entering the game, your mind is scanned, and all the skills and abilites you have learned will be brought with you into the game, with the system only providing rough assistance in their use.

Ascendance's unique skill system meant that caster-type classes had a severe disadvantage to make up for their raw power, in order to cast a spell, a caster needs to know how to manipulate their force, and each force requires a different technique to utilize.

Life is the power of the living and is innate in the humanoid species.
Nature is the power of order and is innate in beastkin.
Void is the power of the dead and is innate in monsters.
Magic is the power of chaos and is innate in demons.

These forces are each innate in their respective groups but are present in all living things, having too much of any force can lead to the death of the host.

Classes are a way to stablize the absorption of a force into the body, allowing the class's aligned force or forces to strengthen the body or mind, while not allowing the force to overwhelm a player. This is why classless players recieve no bonus abilities or stat points, because they have to absorb each force equally.

Ascendance also has a rather strange structure, with there being fifty realms, or 'floors' with each realm being fuctionally limitless in size.

As you go farther out from the center of the realm, the monsters grow more and more powerful, meaning that while you theoretically COULD go forever in one direction, you would die long before you actually went any real distance.

This is mainly because monsters feed on void energy, and instinctually stay away from areas with high concentrations of life energy.

As one travels to higher realms, you would also encounter stronger and stronger monsters, due to the difficulties humanoids have traveling to higher realms, which also means that the populations of higher realms tends to decline at an exponential rate the higher you go.

In the beginning, players can only choose the human race. This is due to Ascendance's reincarnation system, which means that when players die, if they are not resurrected or if they should so choose, they will reincarnate.

Upon reincarnation, all skills will be reset to level zero (but will be way easier to level up due to the player's knowledge of the skill and its effects), and the player's previous experience value will be converted into Reincarnation Points, which can be used to unlock races or classes that the player can then choose for their next character.

Death is thus, to many players, an unpleasant necessity, which allows them to further customize their characters to their heart's content.

In Ascendance, NPCs are exactly the same as players, except that they do not have the reincarnation system. NPCs have lives, jobs and emotions, just like the players, they have access to the system, just like the players, they can do anything the players can do.

Likewise the players can do anything the NPCs can do, like giving out quests and even having children in the game.

Ascendance was made with virtually limitless possibilities, allowing players an infinite world that thy ey can explore or make a living in.

Ascendance does not allow for the direct conversion of real life money to game currency, but it does allow one to spend real life money on currency and items sold by players.

Ascendance allows its players the freedom to create skills, items, and even classes, which they can then sell or give to others.

Forgotten Industries published Ascendance with the intention of having every human in the world play it. They spent billions of dollars in order to make the equipment required free for any player to claim, and they didn't charge a connection fee. This was all to get as many players in the game as possible, because the more players who sell things on the onlline market, the more money FI makes from their 10% comission on everything sold.

FI has always operated in ways that most economically-minded people wouldn't understand, instead of trying to make as much money as possible with each transaction, they would offer their services at the lowest price possible. When companies began to sell smartphones and cell service in general, FI developed a smartphone that no other company could compete with, and sold it for $10, with free cell service for life. Most thought FI was insane, but they quickly learned why. FI charged a single penny on every transaction people made on their smartphone, an amount that few would mind and even fewer would complain about, however due to this single penny, FI raked in billions.

The vast majority of the people in the world owned an FI smartphone, and due to how widespread the cell service was, people could make purchases practically anywhere, so most people would buy things on their phones. And even if every person only ever purchased 100 things on their phone, FI would still make $7 billion.

Operating this way, FI achieved a practical monopoly on the entire technology market, making small amounts of money off of each person, to the point that people would barely notice it.

In just 25 years, FI had grown to the point that they could afford to give away billions of game consoles just to make that 10% off of every in-game transaction.

As time passed Forgotten Industries just kept on growing, their policy of making almost no profit on every item sold continued, with them branching into medicine, cars, energy, monopolizing each market over  time, eventually becoming a beast of a company that no country dared to oppose.

When immortality was invented, FI was entirely responsiblr, but due to the ridiculous cost of the treatments, only the wealthiest could afford them. The decision to sell such medicine at such a high price was initially criticized, until later that same week, FI announced that it would be offering the cure for more than a hundred diseases that people had thought incurable, and they were offering it for free to anyone as an apology for being unable to make immortality affordable.

FI's longstanding policies of treating their customers well and always offering the best products for the lowest price were long since fixed in people's minds, so few doubted their claims.

It was an unshakable truth that FI had never lied to its customers, but even though people believed them, they still complained, and FI was more than happy to accept their complaints, because FI had a secondary goal in offering immortality: as of that moment, FI became the company responsible for keeping the richest and most powerful people on the planet alive, they became truly untouchable.

At this point, FI began suggesting changes to countries, changes aimed at improving the situation of all citizens. Taxes were lowered for the poor and raised for the rich, corruption was stamped out, minimum wages and working conditions were changed for the better, funds found their way to schools and utilites such as power stations, water purification plants, and farms, previously hidden agricultural sciences were published, hospitals grew exponentially, insurance was placed under government control, penalties for crimes that could endager others became more severe while crimes tbat could only harm oneself were made less severe.

FI's influence was so widespread that countries all over the world quickly accepted these changes, and soon made a startling discovery. Due to the citizens recieving higher wages and losing less to taxes, their countries rapidly developed, with their governments soon earning many times what they did before.

FI solved all of humanity's problems, from global warming to hunger to poverty, and as such, its CEO, who remained out of the public eye and only known by the name: Wanderer, became a figure of worship. The fact that nobody outside the company had ever seen the mysterious Wanderer, and that no company personnel would ever speak about their CEO made them even more godlike.

Sorry, I can't update due to all the preparation that I need to travel. I actually have the intention to write in the plane so you will have chapters tommorow. I can't update and I know it is quite disapointing. Tommorow you'll have that mass release like many wanted.
