"Good morning, Mr. Summers," a pretty girl greeted Ciel as he entered the classroom.
"Good morning to you, too," Ciel said with a dazzling smile.
Ciel's classmate always thought of him as a polite, yet cold, individual. He would answer politely to question and inquiries, but he would never take the initiative to start a conversation. When people greet him, he would greet them back in a perfunctory manner.
However, today, Ciel was very different. Even his roommate, Keith felt that something was terribly wrong.
"What's wrong?" Ciel asked. "Are you alright? Your face is flushed. Could you possibly have a cold?"
Ciel reached out to place his palm on the girl's forehead. His face was so full of concern, and his eyes so gentle that the pretty girl's face slowly turned as red as a tomato.
"Your temperature is normal, but your heartbeat seems erratic," Ciel said with a frown.
Keith who was standing by his side cursed Ciel in his heart.
