Kate had an amused expression on her face as she looked at the boy who was sleeping peacefully while slumped over on the table. There were drool stains coming down the side of his lips, which was something she had not seen for a long while.
The glutton lightly parted the strands of hair that were covering the angelic boy's face to have a clearer view.
'Your expression when you're asleep is really different from when you're awake, Ciel,' Kate thought.
She glanced at the documents that were spread across the top of the table. Some of them were city maps of England, while others were of France. Ever since Ciel returned from the Night Raid, he became very busy.
Even Chloe hadn't had the chance to have dinner with him because of how hectic his schedule was. If Ciel was not inside the base, he would be outside and supervising the training of Neo Lazarus.
