The Underground Metropolis
Since the fall of their drones, from the gnomes to Ailah and everyone else was left in utter disbelief. They knew for a fact that their engineers were the best and proficient in making whatever weapon or transportation vehicle that they needed. But the fact that all of their deployed drones were taken down with only one explosion, was just a shock to them as everyone.
And also in that they couldn't send a remote command to get them back into the air, they knew that of all the years that they have been on earth, today was the day that they bite off more than they could chew.
Ailah was so furious that she literally wanted to just pull off her hair using her hands. She was so frustrated as she hadn't rested for over a day now, and the results were heartbreaking.
She expected just a smooth victory and carry her prize home, but only failure and sudden turn of events meet her halfway all the time.
