Meeting Some Old Friends
"Ooh, so it's Scorpion?" I asked with a straight face, "I'll pay her a visit when I wrap things up."
Like I knew, a tinge of worry flashed across my sister's eyes for a second before vanishing completely. Yet, she knew that I always kept my promise. So there was no discussing this further.
I knew that with her ability, she would entice me with some benefits or will pull her to her side where she could watch over her indefinitely.
"Don't be so tense with me, people will think that I'm bullying you. We are family so act like it. I only said I'd pay her a visit not strangle the life out of her. And speaking of which, the girl is like a cat, she has nine lives."
Her mood smoothed only a little. Although she were my sister, she was the only one who could go toe to toe with me in everything. After all, we were the X Force. Only the two of us down the road.
