Kai and I embarked on our journey from Mombasa, heading south with a sense of purpose and determination. With each successful operation, we grew more confident in our abilities and formed a stronger bond as a team.
Meanwhile, Lilith, Hassan, Nona, and Vega, who had temporarily separated from us for a few months, had managed to reconnect with the other members of our team. They had taken on their own missions, diligently working to eliminate the remaining terrorist clans in our path. Despite facing challenges and setbacks along the way, they continued to make progress towards our shared goal.
However, as fate would have it, their journey took an unexpected turn as they approached the border between Zimbabwe and Botswana. Having just dealt with the notorious Zambezi Raiders, they found themselves confronted by the presence of the army. It was a startling development, as it marked the first time that any African military force had intervened to impede our mission.
