Raizel found himself taken aback by the realization that the world now he belong was also home to Dracula. Fortunately, this version of Vlad was not the malevolent figure portrayed in other version of him.
However, the connection between Dracula and the noble puzzled Raizel. His mind raced, contemplating the possible ties between Dracula and the noble.
His thoughts circled back to a movie scene he recalled, one where Caligula, the master vampire, had spoken of being deceived by a demon with red eyes and sharp teeth. Then Raizel recalled a book he read about a traitor of Lukedonia who fit the description—a once-powerful clan leader who had fallen into disgrace. This individual, once feared and respected, had later succumbed to desperation, seeking longevity at any cost.
The one responsible for the emergence of mutants.
The traitor, the first vampire progenitor, was none other than Lord Arathorn von Veridian. Raizel speculated that he may have been responsible for turning Caligula into a vampire, and perhaps he had managed to live to this day, hiding in the shadows as a mutant should do.
------------
Thinking about weakness of Dracula that is same as those mutants sures that is no need for explanation that Dracula belong to Raizel's enemy.
As Raizel remained silent, Dracula grew increasingly nervous. He had followed Raizel from Europe to America, seeking his help in dealing with his master vampire, Caligula. However, standing before Raizel now, Dracula couldn't be certain of whom he was dealing with, though he was certain that the figure before him was one of the nobles. Despite tracking Raizel's scent across continents, Dracula sensed that the being before him was far older and stronger than any noble he had encountered thus far.
The prolonged silence from Raizel only heightened Dracula's unease. Finally, Raizel broke the silence with a commanding tone, "Who are you?" With each step Raizel took forward, Dracula's concern mounted. "Who sent you?" Raizel continued, closing the distance between them. And with one final question, Raizel asked, "What do you want from me?" He remained a few feet away from Dracula.
With a nervous swallow, Dracula attempted to introduce himself, "I'm Evan," but before he could finish, he found himself forcibly brought to his knees, unable to resist the overwhelming pressure bearing down on him. The floor beneath him cracked and groaned under the strain, a testament to the immense force exerted upon him. Fear gripped Dracula as he looked up at Raizel, who stood above him, his gaze assessing and commanding, as if determining their relative strengths and positions.
The commotion drew Selene and Michael to the hall, where they beheld the sight of another individual experiencing a predicament similar to their own encounter with Raizel's mysterious powers. Memories of their own helplessness flooded back, leaving them unsettled and wary.
Raizel directed his attention to Dracula, his voice calm yet authoritative. "Vlad, who sent you?" he inquired, catching Dracula off guard. Dracula's expression turned blank, his mind racing as he struggled with the realization that Raizel knew his true identity. How could this noble before him possibly be aware of who he truly was? He stared blankly at Raizel, realizing that there was no way the noble before him could have known his true identity unless he possessed the ability to read mind of his, a vampire close to half millennia old.
Dracula hesitated for a moment before responding, "No one sent me. I came seeking your assistance." Raizel regarded him intently before posing another question. "What do you want from me?" With visible struggle, Dracula met Raizel's gaze. "The one who turned me wants to establish his own community, turning thousands of people into vampires. I don't want that to happen..."
Dracula withdrew his gaze, his voice strained. "But he is too strong for me to deal with. That's why I followed you, noble sir." Raizel, taken aback by Dracula's humility despite his former status as a king, listened in silence.
Then, as a request, Dracula pleaded, "Forgive me, noble sir, if I have disturbed your peaceful stay. If you could allow me to leave, I would be grateful." Raizel, his expression unreadable, considered Dracula's plea before responding with nonchalance, "Why should I let you leave?"
