Ivy looks through it and decide to look at attack section first. The attack section contain the weapons shifting and their power boost. The most basic being claws and its upgrades. The only problem is that all of them are locked even with her full biomass being more than enough to buy it. After telling the system to buy the claw it prompt back that the conditions are not fulfill to buy it. After considering it for a while Ivy thought this is DNA limit as she has not eat any creature with claws in real world. The claw icon include two numbers which is 50% and 0% respectively. She is thinking the first number should be the biomass price while the latter should be the claw creature percentage need to consume for the claw ability to unlock. This means most of her basic weapon shifting will be hard to obtain.

The defense section is much simpler with armor, shield and endurance, of which the two other than endurance are locked. Devour section include consume speed, consume boost, stealth consume, biomass storage expand and critical biomass storage, all of which are unlock. Genetics section include improving infection, hive mind and other gene related evolutions. Movement include flying, climbing, digging, diving, and others, all of which need to consume corresponding creatures, and jump boost and sprint boost which is already unlock. Physical Strength strengthen basic attributes of the body other than endurance and senses. In senses section, all basic five senses are already unlock while some of the other conceptual senses, such as survival instincts is already unlock. The survival section contain vitality, critical mass, healing factor boost.

After considering that there should be no overpower opponent for awhile and Ivy decide to delay her battle efficiency promotion and decide to first improve her biomass storage and devouring abilities. the biomass storage needs three fourth of her stored biomass while consume boost need the rest one fourth of biomass to upgrade. Both upgrade improve the abilities by ten percent. Upgrading two abilities make Ivy's biomass storage to completely empty. Before going out for a hunt, Ivy decide to check the defender system.

*Player status handling - mainly keep track of player's status and kill point. It also handles the changes of status such as class transfer and race transformation.*

"System, what is knowledge store? Can it buy information?"

*Knowledge Store - sells skill scrolls and information about how to obtain bloodlines, abilities and talent.*

Ivy thought that with the game like setting of the world, maybe killing lower rank or even same rank creatures may only give a few points, considering hundreds of skeletons she destroyed. Considering the store only sell skills and information she decided to save for more points as she did not lack skills and her points may not enough to buy for information. She decided to go hunting after waiting for the darkness as it would be easier for her to devour without exposing to someone. She got down from the roof and search for the people with talent and potential, to infect them and spread her hive. After searching for sometime she found several potential candidates for infection. As Ivy was thinking for a way to infect them a group of police come to find her.

"Miss Ivy , I have heard that you pretty much destroy hundreds of skeleton alone. With regard to your clothing and weapon, I can tell they are customized. Are you from the special forces?"

"You are right about these being customized for me. But I'm sorry to inform you that I'm not from the special force. I got these from some cooperation with the government."

"I see. Miss Ivy even if you are not from the special force, can you help us with something? Almost all military personnel are camping at the city center and most of the police are guarding important places like schools and hospitals. The city is devoid of patrols and law and order become chaotic."

"With the firearms isn't defending easy. Police should also have enough personnel for order isn't it?"

"The problem is that we are back to cold weapon era in combat. All firearms and shells become scrap and modern transportation become useless too. It seem they don't want us to use our science superiority in combat."

"So why are you searching for me. Is there anything I can do for you?" said Ivy while retorting the fact that the invaders should have superior technology considering all those information government got from Abyss.

"Although the school prepare all they could for a day, they couldn't hoard much of the food and medicines. We are hoping that you can lead a group of people to go out and bring back some food and medicine as well as news from the front-line. We also hope you can communicate with other temporary bases. If you can, save people back here as we don't know whether the invaders can always appear inside the building."

"Of course I can help you. But I will choose my own group. And I need you to promise me that you would absolutely not interfere with my group. Can you?"

"OK, but the one you choose has to agree and you should not let them die."

"I will not let them die if I can."

After making a deal with the police Ivy decide to take two of the potential candidate for infection as well as ten other to form the group. The other ten people are easy to recruit as she snatch them from the combat group. From the two infection candidates, the first one's ability is bloodlust aura and easier to seduce into the group while the latter is troublesome since her ability is apathy. Thankfully it becomes easier after the girl with bloodlust ability become a group member since the two are friends. After gathering everyone, eight males and four females, Ivy decide to search for necessary items and set off before midnight.

"OK guys we will do the introduction later. Right now we need to first go search for bags and maps and other necessary things as we don't know when can we come back here. We also don't know what things will come out at night or the next days so you have to be vigilant while sleeping outside too. Now go and search for the map mark with important locations. We are going out before midnight."
