Ape and Crushing defeat

"Okay maybe its time to eat those bodies and then maybe ambush that giant ape by burning it while its asleep, if it sleeps, if i dont kill it with that then ill take a couple more days to plan a proper assassination"

Lizzy after taking her time bathing on the beach shore finally got out of the water and shook her body like a dog, she then made her way back to the village mansion to eat the bodies safely, the attic was the perfect place for her to eat them since the worms cant reach her there and yes they have been bothering lizzy these past few days since lizzy injured one of them while she dug the trap pits, lizzy couldnt find the body but she was sure it was dead, hopefully.

Once in the mansion she took out the bodies and consumed them one by one, as for the souls of the body, she couldnt grab it quick enough, she just saw them get taken by hells gate or get wrapped by blinding light then disappear, only she could see them though due to the abyssal blood flowing through her veins, she turned in the tasks and then saw the hard task disappear into the usual countdown, as for the side task it went into a 12 hour countdown.

"Haa mentally im stuffed but physically i dont have anything in my stomach since it literally turns into genodes and energy, haaaaaaaa how i wish i had ingredients to cook something good! the ability is useful but not satisfying"

"Welp once i grow stronger ill hunt some tasty looking creatures and try to cook them, atleast ill still be able to taste them"

After her food talk, lizzy went down and walked outside towards the big monkey, it was night but the moon was very bright, the moonlight making her pitch black scutes slightly shine though not too much due to her scutes colour as if devouring the light.

"Mission log, i am currently searching for the whereabouts of the ape through its tracks and the marks it has left"

"Host you are using the map to find the ape and the host has nearly no tracking capabilities"

"Cant you just let me have my fun? its lonely you know, even though youre here in my head, it just doesnt beat the physical accompaniment of a live companion"

"Memory scanning shows the host doesnt have proper friends and was only accompanied by her ex-boyfriend and suitors"

"Can you please not point that out! im hypnotizing myself into believing that i do and did have proper friends!"

Their banter kept ongoing as lizzy walked, the fact that the system answered and pointed out plenty of personal stuff made her feel as if the system was actually physically with her so she didnt feel that lonely anymore, thus they kept on until they reached the area where the ape was located, she saw the familiar scenes along the way of pits and mushed meat that the ape made, it seems the ape was still hiding at the abandoned factory.

Lizzy moved near the factory and noticed that the walls were actually very thick unlike regular factories as if it was made to prevent something from coming out but utterly failed at it, she saw the massive metal door that was crumpled to the side into a ball leaving only one side on the massive frame, a portion of it crumpled to the shape of large hand, it was clearly the apes.

"Hmm isnt this ape a bit too strong?"

"Host the ape is a tier 2 genode creature thus it is above the hosts current evolved capabilities, the host is a tier 1 evolved creature and before that the host was a tier 0 which is the lowest rank creatures can be, majority being regular animals and humans"

"Oh so im properly moving up then only as a lizard"

Lizzy pressed on to her adventure and entered the den of the evil ape demon king, is what she calls it in her head, the inside was unusually dark and even though on the outside she could see windows, inside there were no signs as if it were a different building, she was lucky that she got the eyes of adaption before, otherwise she wouldve need to return on another day.

Lizzy though wished she didnt see what was inside as she went deeper, at first it was just bones, some fresh and some bleached by time, but as she got deeper it began to reek of feces which made her not want to continue but still moved on to finish her plan.

"Peeyew this ape isnt hygenic at all!"

Lizzy went and gone deeper to find the ape until she reached the area where it rested, it was quite clean for a disgusting ape, it was laying on some plants that grew in the factory as if it had a leafy bed, lizzy saw this and immediately in her head, "burnable material! perfect for roasting ape!!", she then moved on and got near the ape slowly while hoping that the stealth skill would trigger, it didnt but she got close without getting noticed as the ape rolled a bit to the side and scratched between its legs.

"Disgusting"

After lizzy said her word, she immediately breathed out plenty of fire unto the ape and its leafy bed, she made sure to invest a lot of stamina on her abyssal breath to cover a massive area before she ran away in order to save herself from the apes tier 2 wrath.

"System can you tell when the ape dies?"

"Yes host"

"Okay then inform me when it dies so i can recover the flames and still have some tier 2 genodes!"

"Affirmative"

Lizzy ran as fast as she can to try and exit the place as she heard the heavy footsteps of the giant ape behind her, she turned her head to the side and saw the ape glowing red with black flames all over its body menacing looking as if the angel of death was chasing her, this image made her push herself physically and ran comically... yet it worked as she kept the distance between them.

"Mr.Ape stop chasing me! its my second life and i dont think ill have a third one! you know if you can survive maybe we can let bygones be bygones? AAAA GET AWAY!!"

She tried reasoning to the ape about the thing she had done since she can see that the ape doesnt plan on stopping while her stamina was clearly plummeting at a visible rate, then she remembered the pits she made, they were quite far though but if she can manage her stamina perfectly maybe she can reached on of ger pits to buy some time and roast the giant.

She nodded to herself internally and then made her way to the pits, hoping that her stamina was enough, to manage her stamina and cover more distance she would intentionally run against the side of a tree and then propel herself towards the direction she needed to go, allowing her to save stamina and cover even more distance due to her strength.

The ape following her was smashing every tree in its path and passing on the fire all over its body towards the plants, the abyssal flame albeit strong was still at level 1 so the apes berserk ability was able to block most of it, though it was still hruting it little by little, the commotion woke up the military encampent though as they believed thet were being attacked.

Admirals Meeting tent.

"Soldier report!" Mr.Smith

"Sir the scouts and nightwatch report that the ape is currently making its way towards our encampment, albeit it still being far away, we believe it will arrive at the camp soon" Soldier.

"Anything else soldier?" Mr.Smith

"Yes sir! from the scouts perspective the ape seems to have undergone a slight change, it was burning with dark flames and where it goes it causes the flame to pass on" Soldier.

"Dismiss then, tell all military personnel to man their positions and prepare for an attack!" Mr.Smith

The rest of the admirals just stood up and called for their respective personnel to order them to get ready, the first time the ape came it caused huge damage to the encampment and now that their stably building it into a proper HQ, they didnt want it to be ruined by it.

Now return to the ape.

The ape was running wild on the trees as it tried to remove the fire while chasing lizzy, it had a brain so it felt like something was wrong with the flames but still chased after lizzy due to the effect of the berserk skill where it will lock on a target and will not stop till the target was killed.

Lizzy was easily traversing the woods since she had memorized the paths that she went through which was a requirement since she didnt want to get lost nor to fall into her own traps.

"This ape is fast even though its extremely big, this guy can literally stomp on me! lets just hope my pits are big enough to trip it so i can burn it harder"

Plenty of distance covered and ecology destroyed later, they finally arrived near lizzys pit plantation, lizzy used a tree to propel her across one of her hidden pits and then began running circles around the place to attract the ape further, the ape then arrived and then stepped on the trap not easily noticing it due to its eyes pasted unto lizzy, its foot sank into the hole and due to its deepness, then even though its a tier 2 being its groin slammed against the hard soil of the trapped reinforced by lizzy, its let out a groan as a loud crunch was heard due to its heavy fall, it didnt have any broken bones so its easy to tell what the crunch was.

Lizzy gave the ape a small prayer before opening her maw wide and then spewing dark flames nonstop till she only had a fifth of her stamina saved in order to make her escape, she saw the ape looking at her with fury while roaring out loud in pain, it recovered from its pain slightly and then got out of the pit rushing to lizzy, lizzy already knowing it was gonna happen ran immediately to another pits to repeat the cycle of distracting it, the ape fell for her tricks plenty of times and suffered one "Crushing" defeat after another, she didnt use her flames anymore since she had little stamina now.

The ape currently was burnt badly, some parts spewing blood as the flames werent burning it fast enough to seal up the wounds that the flames developed, the flames were like corrosive acid on its skin just eating away at its strength making it slowly feel weaker and weaker as time went by.
