Chapter 9: Operation S.T.Y
[****]
Alex #5 POV
Location: Shie Hassaikai Tokyo branch base, Tokyo, Japan.
Date: May 12, 2214
Time: 5:10 p.m.
"So these are the famous Hassaikai. I have to say I'm utterly disappointed in you all." I said in contempt as I stared at the barely alive bodies of the yakuza members.
"Y-you-u woo-nn't ge-et aww-ayy with this!" One of the more conscious members said while glaring up at me, though I couldn't really take her seriously as she tried to speak to me with half her teeth knocked out and she lay bloody and broken on the ground. "W-when O-overh-haul he-ere's a-abo-out this-s y-you-u'll b-be s-sorr-ry!"
"Yes, I'm sure he will. In fact, I'm betting on it." I said with a wide smile as I pulled my gun out of the holster on my waist and pressed it against her forehead. "Now go ahead and die for me." I said dramatically before pulling the trigger, blowing the woman's brain out, and covering my wrist and the front of my outfit in blood.
"Now that missy here is gone to the other side. How about you guys be a bit more corroborative and tell me where your boss is?" I said while standing up and turning toward the other prone bodies.
Seeing them not saying anything, I walked over to the man who was barely awake, slumped against the wall, and crouched in front of him. "Hey, so will you tell me where your boss is?"
I couldn't help but smile as I saw the man open his mouth and spit on my face. Taking a deep breath, I released a sigh of annoyance and reached up, wiping the spit off my face. I then put on the most angelic face possible before I quickly moved my gun and shot a hole through the man's leg, causing him to let out a gut-retching scream that echoed throughout the building.
"You fucking bastard, your lucky I didn't just blow your brains out right here and now for the heck of it." I said with a frigid glare and an emotionless tone. "Now, you're going to tell me everything about your boss, and every time you lie, I'm going to break one of your fingers, understand?"
The man nodded his head as best he could, and I began asking him questions.
"So tell me, where is your main compound located?"
"It's located in Hokk-Ahhhhhhh!" The man screamed out as I bent his finger back without mercy.
"I told you to not lie to me or this would happen, did I not?" I asked with a tilt of my head. "Now tell me the truth this time. Tell me where the main compound is."
After that, I continued to ask the man questions, and by the end of my interrogation, all his fingers were broken, and I only got vague information from the man.
With a sigh, I stood up and washed the blood off myself with my quirk. Reaching into my pocket, I pulled out my phone and texted Toga and Twice.
Alex: Hey, you two, are you done on your side of the mission?
Toga: I finished as well. Tho I didn't find anything.
Jin: Yup, boss man. I finished, and I actually got something!
Seeing Twice's reply, I smiled before responding.
Alex: Great! Tell me everything when we get back to base.
Putting my phone back in my pocket, I began going around collecting blood samples of the useful quirks I saw that weren't that strong but were nonetheless useful.
Of course, I made sure to kill every single one of them once I was finished. After all, I need to send a message to Overhaul that I'm coming for him for my plan to go flawlessly. But of course he has to know me as well, so I left a single woman who was pretending to be dead, leaving her to scurry back to him.
Oh yeah, they have some trigger here, right? I should grab some so I can make a safer version for my use later.
Looking around the blood-stained compound, it only took a couple of minutes to find their inventory, which was filled with weapons, ammunition, and heaps of trigger.
Reaching into one of the crates, I pulled out a prefilled syringe filled with a red liquid. Quickly, I grabbed a couple more and placed them inside my jacket.
God, I really wish the original had a storage quirk right now; it would make life so much easier. Releasing a sigh, I began making my way out of the compound, where I grabbed my backpack and prepared to change into some civilian attire. But he should be finished with the surgery soon, so we should be able to fix that issue soon.

Alex POV
Location: abandoned subway base, Tokyo, Japan.
Date: May 12, 2214
Time: 9:40 p.m.
Once again, I sat up from the medical bed, having gained another quirk, specifically overhaul.
It was rather easy with double, as I knocked the clone of Kai out like I did with Hibiki and had him sedated for several days on end as a copy of his quirk factor was transferred over to me.
Of course, I didn't want to have to learn how to use this quirk, so I walked into the train car where I was keeping the sedated Kai. In the room as well was Hibiki, but his black eyes were dull and held no emotion in them thanks to the brainwashing.
"Hibiki, transfer the knowledge from this man here on how he uses his quirk to me." I ordered Hibiki to activate his archive magic.
Surprisingly, the magic worked in this world, and according to him, the world was abundant in ethernano, his equivalent to mana, which raised a whole bunch of questions. But that was a thought for future Alex to consider; for now, I have to prepare myself as I saw the loading bar appear over my own and Kai's heads.
The bar slowly grew, going from 0% to 20%, then 50%, and ten minutes later, the bar was all the way to 100%.
With the download complete, I felt a torrent of knowledge flood my head, but I was able to quickly analyze the memories and sort them out from my own.
Walking over to Kai, I brandished a surgical knife and stabbed him in the heart. His eyes shot open, showing his pained eyes that whirled onto me. His mouth opened to say something, but his form gave way, going back to the dark liquid that made him.
Now to deal with the other one. Walking over to Hibiki, I placed a hand on his chest and mine before I used overhaul on us both as I lost consciousness.
My unconsciousness seemed to stretch for an eternity, but when I regained it, I could feel it thanks to the memories I had Hibiki transfer before this. I knew how to connect to the container of ethernano that was now in my body. I then reached and touched myself once again, separating Hibiki from myself and leaving the ethernano container in me.
"Wha? Where am I? What happened?" Hibiki asked frantically as he looked to and fro.
So the act of killing is enough to get out of my mind control, huh? I'll write that down for later to fix, but for now to get rid of the waste. Turning, I began walking over to Hibiki, drawing his attention.
"Who are you?" He asked in confusion, but there was wariness in his eyes.
I didn't say anything as I continued to walk up to the Hibiki sitting on the floor. As I got closer, he raised his hand, and I couldn't help but chuckle in amusement as he tried to use his magic that didn't respond to his call. Only once I was towering right above him did Hibiki speak again.
"What did you do to my magic?" He asked with a shaky voice.
"Your archive magic was very useful to my plans, so I took it for myself." I said with a devilish smirk as I made a holographic screen appear over my hand, causing Hibiki's eyes to widen before he gripped his chest. "You must be feeling the effects now. I basically took your life-force so you should be dying any moment now."
"No, I can't die." Hibiki said while gritting his teeth as he started to slowly stand up.
Yeah, no, I'm not letting some friendship bullshit power up take me out. Without hesitation, I wound my leg back and kicked him in the chest, knocking him onto his back. I then stomped on his chest before crouching over him.
"Now goodbye, Hibiki." I said with a smirk as I grasped his face and used overhaul to kill him.
Now taking on the Shie Hassaikai should be easy with just myself, but I'll allow Toga and Twice to tag along. But for now, let's get stronger.
With a thought, I began using double once more to create the next person I would steal abilities from.

Alex POV
Location: Outside the main Shie Hassaikai base, Nagano, Japan.
Date: April 15, 2214
Time: 10:50 p.m.
"Alright, let's go over this one more time." I said toward Toga and Twice as we stood upon the roof of a house that was in front of the Shie Hassaikai's main compound.
Putting my palm up, I projected a detailed floor plan of the entire compound, including the underground labyrinth, with my magic.
"Once I place the magic field up, they will be unable to leave unless they can break it as well as make it so people and heroes won't interfere. We'll make our way through the secret entrance here and head down into the labyrinth, where we'll divide and conquer. Kai will prioritize getting his research and Eri out of the compound, but all the entrances are already set up with magic barriers, and I've already tested that overhaul doesn't work on magic without a lot of training, so he'll be forced to fight us."
"Okay, I can't wait to try out this new stuff you gave us, Alex-kun." Toga said with a happy smile as she twirled her new knife that I made myself. While it looked like a normal knife, it was actually an alloy made from lightning dust, steel, and mithril.
That was why this attack took so long to set up. Besides getting my other abilities that would be useful and having to take breaks so my brain wasn't overloaded by the information on how to use said abilities, I decided to start beefing up our equipment.
I first started by making materials from various franchises that would be useful and began studying them. As I was studying them, I had several clones designing a way to transform matter to match the atomic structure.
We settled on using a clone of Momo for now that we had sedated and forcefully made her create materials once the composition of the new thing we wanted to make was pushed into her head.
With that, we were making tons of things like dust from RWBY, vibranium from the MCU, adamantium, mithril, and many others that I found useful.
I also got several useful abilities that I kindly borrowed for use.
The first was the semblance of Fiona Thyme called pocket dimensions, which allowed her to store stuff in another dimension as long as she touched the object.
Thanks to that, I was also able to gain her aura, and due to overhaul, there was no rejection of her soul with mine.
I then abused the hell out of that fact to gain the semblances glyphs, moonslice, and burn from Weiss, Adam, and Yang. With each one I absorbed, my aura reserves gained a boost that I learned to track and identify by creating a scroll with double and reverse engineering it.
With my own aura, I unlocked Toga's aura, which was a bloody red color, and Twice's aura, which was gray.
I also gained three more quirks: compress, creation, and erasure to enhance my combat abilities.
"Anyway, I'll fight Overhaul and secure Eri while you two deal with the Eight Perceptions, understood? Also remember, don't kill them; only kill if absolutely necessary." I said as I stood up and activated my vibranium suit, which looked exactly like the stuff Giran got me months ago.
Turning my head, I saw Toga and Twice activating their suits as well. Toga's schoolgirl outfit didn't change that much, only getting a futuristic look and covering her arms and legs, with Twice having a similar outfit to the one he had in canon, a full bodysuit that was gray and black.
"I'm going to make ya proud, boss, man!" Twice said with a thumbs up.
"Alright, then let's get started then." With a snap of my fingers, the magical barriers activated around the compound as well as the other entrances. All three of us then jumped off the roof, and as soon as we landed, I created a large glyph under our feet and pulled out a lightning dust crystal that I threw down. The glyph changed to a clock face, with the hands moving quickly around the face.
I was covered in a whitish light before I dashed forward toward the compound at a speed no human had any right to do without a speed related power.
Speeding up, I pulled ahead of Toga, and Twice arrived at the front gate in only two seconds. Skidding to a stop, I placed my hand on the gate and used overhaul to get rid of the door, allowing Toga and Twice to run right in, and I followed right after them.
As we ran through the compound as expected, they were already aware of our presence and sending people our way, but they were easily dealt with by us. It only took us a couple of minutes to run through the estate and arrive at the hidden entrance.
"Twice, I'll cover you, get that pass code in!" I said as I created two large glyphs and placed them on either side of us, blocking the hallways.
As Twice was putting in the password, more of the Yakuza came out and started using their quirks to try and get to us, but my glyphs easily blocked every attack thrown at us.
"Done, boss, man!" Twice said as soon as the door slid open, revealing the stairs heading down.
"Let's go!" I said as I threw air dust into the two glyphs I had set up, causing their white color to change to green before releasing a blast that knocked the people back. With the grunts dealt with, all three of us ran down the steps.
Now for operation Secure the Yakuza to commence.
