Reckless

In the morning Sienna woke up at the slight noise of screeching wild birds. She opened her eyes and saw a silk turquoise cushion with embroidered golden scorpion arranged together with a lot of cosmetics and sweet dried fruits on the table!

"Sarcos, "she breathed in deeply."Who is it from?"She fixed her wide eyes on Ramse who came to sit at the edge of her bed.

"It is from Sarcos," Ramse nodded." He left for you a giant cave of treasures and food in the underground river pass caves."

"Sarcos left it for me!"Sienna sprang out of the bed and hugged the turqoise cushion. The tears went down her cheeks.

"Don't cry or I will not bring you anything else. "Ramse said firmly."If you will be nice to Mathyas, he might let you go with us to visit your treasure cave. "he noted.

"Really?"Sienna wiped her tears with the back of her hand."Please, take me there!"

"Be patient, first you have to put yourself together!"Ramse said."Come eat breakfast and dress up nicely. I got you a new dress too. It is blue as your eyes." he run his hand on her cheek gently.

"Thank you for everything, Ramse."Sienna nodded." You two saved my life yesterday. I'm forever grateful." she smiled a bit sadly at him.

"I will do anything for you."Ramse nodded.

"Where is Xander?"Sienna looked around the room a bit worried.

"I sent him to rest. He was working hard with me at night. You will have everything you need from now on. "Ramse nodded.

"Apart from freedom, "Sienna bit her lips bitterly.

Ramse took a small spoon of honey and put it into her mouth. He reached closer to her, moving the strands of golden hair from her face, and whisper to her ear quietly."We are working on it, but for now try to be kind to Mathyas for me, hm?"

"Promise you will be a good girl." he tried to take the spoon out of her mouth but Sienna bit on it, so Ramse let it go.

"I need more sweets!"Sienna mumbled with a full mouth like a greedy kid. She took the spoon out of her mouth and licked the honey slowly.

"Sure! Eat your breakfast and I'll give you more honey."Ramse chuckled."And if you do as I say, I will make you pancakes later on."

"Pancakes."Sienna took from him the bowl of fruity oats."She sighed and started to eat. "Ramse, can Mathyas control dreams?"Sienna asked thinking.

"Yes, what did he show you?"Ramse asked curiously.

"I saw all my mates in my dreams, you two were there too and Mathyas."Sienna tried to remember. "I think I made some kind of deal with him." she nodded her head.

"Tell me exactly what happened."Ramse looked at her.

Sienna told him what she remembered.

Ramse furrowed his brows." It was all illusion, me and Xander were not sleeping, we could not be in your dream for real." he explained to her. "I think he was trying to find out what you would do if he kills all your mates. It will make him the richest king in the world."Ramse noted.

"So what I'm to do? Do you think he will try to kill them for real?"Sienna asked worriedly.

"Not yet. Be really nice to him and try to strike a deal with him, when he came to see you."Ramse noted."Now, go get ready."

Sienna nodded and picked up the blue dress. She went to the bathroom and got dressed. Then she sat behind the silvery mirror and start brushing her hair quickly.

She opened the pots with creams and teared up as she smeared the familiar scent on her face.

"Let me help you," Ramse took a hairbrush and started to brush her long golden hair again."You did not do a very good job on it," he separated the little tangles gently."Don't rush that much next time, your beautiful hair needs some time too."

Sienna just bit her lips. The tears were going down her face and she tried to smear them with a silken tissue.

"Try not to cry anymore. You are the queen of Sand City, Crystal City, Snake City and Sea Eagle Mountains. The Sand City belong to you only from now on. Be strong and proud of what you are!" Ramse brushed her golden hair patiently.

"I have a merman army too, just so you know."Sienna chuckled bitterly." But none of this can help me now. I will become the Queen of the Underworld or Thyasse's wall decor if I don't get out," she whispered quietly.

Ramse pressed her shoulder gently. "You need to listen to Mathyas well my dear Sienna. He won fairly and you should accept him." he smirked at her in the mirror."Sienna nodded her head. Mathyas was coming and Ramse heard his light steps in the corridor.

Sienna painted long black lines over her eyelashes with a little flick and smeared some pink lipgloss on her lips. She was looking still pale, but as beautiful as the morning sun.

"So, do you like him a bit?" Ramse asked her gently, knowing Mathyas is standing behind the door!

"Yes, but he is mostly so cold to me. I feel scared here. I wish he would be a bit kinder."Sienna sighed.

Ramse arranged her hair on her shoulders. "All done, you are ready," he whispered just as Mathyas opened the door. He sent Ramse out with a flick of his hand.

Sienna turned to Mathyas sweetly. "Good morning, Mathyas."She smiled gently at him.

"You look much better today."Mathyas nodded."You are very beautiful," he smiled and run his finger on her cheek.

"Ramse and Xander take good care of me," Sienna smiled gently." Thank you for letting them help. You are a very gracious king."Sienna smiled gratefully and looked into his scarlet red eyes.

Mathyas nodded. He took her hand and led her to the bed. He sat her on the bed gently and he sat next to her looking into her face closely.

Sienna felt her heart as a drum. She stared into his red eyes until she could not anymore. She started to tear up.

Mathyas lifted her head with his fingers."Are you scared?"

Sienna nodded. "Just a little bit. "

"Well, it is just you and me now."Mathyas looked at her gently, but to Sienna, he looked like a hungry vampire!

"Yes, Sienna shivered."Did you come to my dream yesterday?"

"Yes. I wanted to make you happy."Mathyas nodded.

"Thank you. So what is your plan now?"Sienna asked carefully.

"You heard the deal. You belong to me now."Mathyas nodded gently.

"Because you have to protect me from someone strong?"Sienna asked innocently.

"Yes."Mathyas nodded."And also because I like you. You will be my queen."

"Yes, that was the deal," Sienna smiled, "But can I see Tyrell, Sharchan and Marco sometimes?" she pushed her luck till he was nice.

"Yes, they can visit you once a year for three days." Mathyas nodded.

"Thank you, you are very generous."She smiled sweetly at him, but was upset in her mind." Well at least he will let them live, so it's a win." she thought. "And what about Ramse and Xander?"

"They will be going after a week. They can visit as they wish, you are not their mate."

"Thank you."Sienna nodded and bit her lips.

"You are so cute."Mathyas smiled and held her hand in his."We will mate after one week will pass, as I promised." he touched her shoulder gently.

"Can't we wait a bit longer, till I get used to you more?" Sienna asked him curiously.

"No, "Mathyas shook his head."If I don't mate with you in one week, my father will try to take you for his concubine," he said hardly.

"Your father?" Sienna opened her eyes abruptly."Your mother will surely kill me then." she shook her head hopelessly.

"Not if I mate you," Mathyas said and kissed her shoulder gently, it was soft and touching it was not enough for him suddenly!

"Aha," Sienna said and nudged his face with her head softly." So, is your father the most powerful man here then?" she asked a bit bitterly.

"No, he just wanted to bet, I think he has his mind set on you for some weird reason."Mathyas shook his shoulder.

"So you bet with me?"Sienna asked baffled.

"Not really, he just mentioned it, he always does as he says, is no point to argue with him." he looked at her gently."If you mate me as I said, we have no problem anyway with him." he smiled.

Sienna felt gobsmacked. "They have surely a bit weird relationship!" she thought."So, can I go outside for some fresh air? "she asked innocently.

"Not yet," Mathyas said."There is a big lookout for you outside."

"Aha, "Sienna noted."Who is looking for me?" she chuckled nervously.

"A killer. "Mathyas said coldly.

"Aha, then thank you for hiding me."Sienna shook her head in a bit of disbelief. This was weird." Can I do some drawing then?" she asked sweetly. There was something she really needed to get her head around!

"Yes, I actually made you a drawing room." he smiled sweetly."So, you can start on my portrait."

"Yes of course, but can I have some papers in my room too? I like to sketch dresses and flowers."She smiled innocently.

"Yes, I will send some. I'm glad you look so much better today." he kissed her cheek lightly.

Sienna felt like a cupcake in the sweetshop, who is being tried out slowly by a hungry kid. She closed her eyes and kissed his cheek back.

"So, do you like me a little bit then?"Mathyas captured her by the shoulders close to him, pressing his cheek on her cheek in a very uncomfortable position.

"Yes, I like you!"Sienna smiled sweetly."You have a place in my heart," she nodded.

Mathyas let her go and smiled gently at her. "Get ready, I will pick you up soon." he went out in a rush.

Sienna get off the bed and sighed."What a strange king! Bet with his father on me!" she said to herself." But I need to keep nice if I want to see the cave from Sarcos, maybe I can find some clues there!" she thought.

Sienna stood up and looked out of the window. The dark forest was in her view thru the strong decorated iron bars. She breathed in the fresh air, thinking.

Suddenly the door opened, she turned thinking it was Mathyas, but two strong black lizard warriors stood there! Their faces were scarred, and they looked dangerously wicked.

Sienna stared at them in shock.

"We are to escort you to the queen Thyasse." they bowed lightly.

"But I'm waiting for king Mathyas, he is coming shortly. He ordered me to wait for him."Sienna bit her lips sensing danger.

"Just come. He will come to see you later. The queen doesn't like to wait."They said firmly and step forward.

Sienna retreated to the back of the room."I don't want to anger the king!" she said resolutely.

"Don't you worry, he will be just fine!"The lizard warriors laughed darkly. They caught Sienna forcefully and dragged her down the corridors.

"Let me go, no, Mathyas, Mathyas...!Help me! Xander, Ramse, help me!"Sienna called in a panic and twisted her body trying to free herself, but the warriors were too strong. One of them lifted her up on his shoulder and strode fast deep into the underground.
