Mike placed the ingredients on the table as I high-five him before turning to the camera.
"This is a live stream?" I asked.
"Yes, no cuts, everything recorded live" The camera replied.
I nodded my head as I faced the camera "hello everyone am Clarke enjoy the cooking program" I replied as I grabbed the shallot washing them.
I grabbed the diced chicken breast as I passed it to Bob.
"Here you go, lunch is served" I said smiling as his face turned into a frown.
"Just kidding I caught you didn't I" I said pulling the tray away as I dropped it on the table and grabbing the food processor.
I added the chicken breast and shallot as I blended it until it became minced.
I scooped out the contents in a metal bowl as I grabbed the eggs, but there was a problem.
"Mike, this one isn't fresh" I said as I grabbed one of them, showing it to him.
"That all we have left, unless I go to the store in the corner to get more" He replied.
"No time" I replied as I broke the remaining five into a bowl, separating the egg whites from the yolk and began to whisk them.
"You are doing it with five eggs?" Bob asked me, smiling.
"Yeah, can't I?" I replied as I continued to whisk them until it became a foamy texture.
I took the black gloves on my hand and ran it through water before changing it to a fresh pair and adding the minced chicken and shallot mix with the egg as I began to mix it.
Complementing the missing egg was easy just enough seasoning will do the trick as I added just about enough salt to the mix.
I grabbed a heavy-bottomed saucepan from the top drawer, as I cleaned it before placing it over a gentle heat while humming.
"So yeah, back to our lesson" I said as I added the stock into the saucepan.
"I think the Consommé is a dish that is being slept on by most chef because of it, difficult in getting the mix ratio" I said as I let the stock simmer, not forgetting to whisk it regularly to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.

I could see the egg whites floating on the top to form a kind of raft, I used the spatula to clear the bottom making sure that none of the egg whites was caught under it
"It is a life-saving dish offered by a chef to his king in return for his life, which in this case you are the king and i, the chef and my career is my life" I said smiling at the camera.
Soon the aroma filled the room as everybody was salivating for a taste.
I tasted the stock before adding a bit of salt.
Soon I could see the raft of egg whites becoming solid, I made sure there were no impurities rising to the surface, before I remove the pan from the heat.
Using a ladle, I gently take the consommé from the hole in the raft and strain through doubled-up muslin cloth into a container, I was very careful not to disturb the rest of the raft because If the raft is broken up, it will result in a cloudy stock.
Bob looked over the stock smiling.
"Not bad" He replied as he rested his back on the wall.
"Wait, did he just complement him?" A chef asked.
"Bob the destroyer complemented someone" The others chattered, but I didn't have time to listen to their talks.
I focused on the muslin as I let the liquid pass through it slowly, not pushing it through.
I grabbed it the liquid as I placed it in the freezer, setting a timer for an hour before turning to the camera.
"We will be back in an hour to check on it" I said as I turned to Bob smiling.
"Cut" He said as the camera stopped rolling before he turned to me,
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"Cooking" I replied.
"Why did you put it in the fridge?" He asked furiously.
"Well, it is a trade secret, but you will find out soon" I replied as I walked to the back to catch a break.
I could hear the kitchen explode as everybody tried to share their option on my cooking, but I was too tired to care.
Soon an hour was gone as I open the freezer to reveal a cold consommé.
Everybody was surprised as I used a ladle to remove any fat that has gathered on the surface.
"Wait, that why you froze it?" Bob asked.
"Yeah" I replied as I carefully scooped the fat away from the consommé.
"I always had troubles with taking away the excess fat, how did come up with this" He asked.
"Wait did he just ask for instructions" The crowd talked among themselves again.

"Just thought of it" I said as I reboiled the consommé to heat it up before removing it.
I scooped from it in a serving plate as I passed it to Bob.
"Try it while it hot" I said.
He took a spoonful of it as he placed it close to his nose, sniffing it a few times before taking a slip.
He held it in his mouth for a while before swallowing it, must be some weird eating style I had no idea of.
His eyes widen for a brief second as he smiled.
"Good job kid" He said, patting my shoulder as the crowd exploded in praise.
"He saved us, a record" Different things were said as everybody helped themselves to the stock while I simply sat down watching as Bob walked to me.
"You were fantastic today" He said as I simply nodded.
"What do you say about participating in the next international cooking tournament?" He asked with anticipation.
"No, thank you" I replied.
"Huh?"
