"There's nothing to tell," Feron stated as he glanced at everyone.
"In our class, what was it that you saw in Lydan's direction?" Lynorr enquired.
"How did you know that? Did you see it too?" Feron questioned as he stared in disbelief at Lynorr.
"No, I didn't see anything, when you were gazing at Lydan, I just saw your terrified expression," Lynorr replied.
"You were only supposed to act triggered, but you became triggered and were about to curse everyone. What did you see that made you triggered?" Arlo curiously asked.
"Ophni has also noticed something in Lydan," Ayrton remarked as Feron glanced in Ophni's direction.
"Did you see it as well?" Feron inquired Ophni.
"What?" Ophni asked.
"That perplexing commodity," Feron described.
"What commodity?" Ophni was uncertain.
"He saw something else," Arlo explained.
"Tell us what you saw; Feron; we pledged to each other that we wouldn't keep anything a secret, so do so;'' Lynorr urged.
As Feron inhaled deeply, his hand began to shake "Do you recall when I said Lydan is cursed? I think he may not merely be cursed," Feron said.
"What exactly do you mean by that?" Lynorr enquired.
Feron's hands were still shaking, "When I was making a distraction for Gage in the classroom I noticed something behind Lydan, it had no eyes or a nose but a gigantic mouth with incredibly sharp fangs that were oozing in blood," he continued.
They were all taken aback by what Feron was saying, "I felt as if I have no value and might be obliterated from this universe with just a flick of that thing's finger," Feron went on.
"That thing's smoke must be substantial," Ophni stated in a serious tone as he was taken aback.
Feron clutched his injured, shaking fists, "It was beyond imagination and terrifying, I couldn't even control my senses and as a consequence was triggered but I noticed something that I couldn't believe before I passed out," he said, spooked.
"What did you see?" Ayrton enquired.
"Lydan was breathing heavily for some reason as I observed that thing's expression that was of fear and care for Lydan," Feron replied, startled, as everyone was shocked to hear it.
"It's strange, Lydan is somehow connected to all the bizarre happenings," Arlo gravely said in his mind.
"Although that thing was awful, it was trying to help Lydan, but no matter how hard it tried, that commodity couldn't touch him," Feron said.
"Do you think Lydan is aware of this?" Ayrton enquired.
"He has no notion of his curse or that commodity," Feron said.
"Are you certain?" Arlo asked.
"Yeah, I am," Feron answered again.
"How are you so sure?" Ayrton again enquired.
"If he knew then he wouldn't have gotten hurt by me," Feron stated as everyone silently stared at him.
"I think it's preferable to tell Lydan all about this," Ophni said as Feron turned to face him.
"We will," Ayrton said.
"Have you ever read anything in a book about this creature?" Lynorr enquired.
"I did read something about a creature like that, but what I saw doesn't match the description in the book," Feron responded.
"Should we notify someone about this?" Arlo asked.
"Yeah, maybe professors help Lydan," Lynorr said as she regarded Ayrton.
"You chumps, have you forgotten how we got here?" In a loud voice, Ophni stated.
"He's correct, they're all keeping something from us, and that's the only reason why we can't tell them anything right now because whatever they are hiding is related to Lydan," Ayrton replied.
"It's been over a week but we haven't learned anything helpful, which is strange…" Arlo halted as he heard Feron.
"What did you say that you saw?" Feron questioned as he turned to face Ophni; he was restless.
Ophni gave everyone a quick look before telling Feron all he had observed in class.
"This is all a mess," Feron thought to himself after he heard everything from Ophni.
"I'll look into it," Feron said as he stopped when he heard a knock at the door.
Lynorr answered in the affirmation.
Everyone stared at Sebastian as he opened the door and entered.
"What is it?" Ayrton inquired from his position on the bed; all the others were seated on the chesterfield.
"Your Highness, the dinner has been served," Sebastian said as he made a bow.
"We'll be there, you can leave now," Ayrton said as Sebastian once more bowed and walked out of the room.
Caspian entered the room with a dress in his hands as soon as Sebastian left. He made a bow as he entered.
"Your highness, your attire," Caspian bowed and said,
"You should now get changed into a different attire," Ayrton said as he rose and strode toward the door.
"We should leave you for it," Lynorr said as she followed Ayrton outside.
Before exiting the room as well, Arlo grinned and added, "See you at the table."
All of them exited the room, but Ophni remained sitting and kept gazing at Feron while Caspian waited at the door.
"Are you going to tell him everything about yourself?" Ophi enquired.
"If I want to truly apologize to him, then I should since you all know everything about me and he's our cousin too," Feron remarked with a smile.
Ophni trudged over to Feron and put his hand on his shoulder, saying, "It's wonderful to hear you say that."
Ophni gave Feron a cheerful squeeze on the shoulder as he left the room, whispering in Feron's ear, "Stay strong."
Caspian moved nearer as he put Feron's attire on the bed.
Feron stood up, thinking to himself, "My hands are not ceasing from trembling."
"I'm outside in case you need me for anything else," Caspian said as he made a bow and exited the room when he saw Feron's nod in approval.
The room was vacant when Feron exited after changing; he left without realizing that Gage was listening in on their conversation with a surprised expression.
