I open my eyes when feeling the grass on my back. Slowly, I crouch as my hand brushes my hair pushes back before looking around. "W-where am I?" I murmur. And I realize that I'm in the backyard of Luna's Mansion.
"What am I doing here? Supposedly, I'm inside my room. H-how—" My words cut off when a woman appears in front of me.
That woman is so gorgeous with her long shiny brunette hair, with a perfect symmetric face, and her rounded brown eyes whilst staring at me. Then, I stand up and walk closer to her with hesitation yet there's a strong feeling about her that keeps calling me to come closer.
Then, she smiles as she reaches my hands and pulls me closer into an embrace. My eyes blink, stunned.
'What is happening? Why does it feel like knowing her for a long time?' I thought to myself. Suddenly, I feel a strong connection to her when she hugs me tightly.
As she loosens the embrace, she pulls me into the bench as we sit down. She smiles at me and slowly, cups my cheeks.
"My daughter…" My brows furrow when she calls me 'daughter'
"My lovely Feaubry."
"F-Feaubry? But my name is Minsoo. I think you've been mistaken." She sighs as she looks elsewhere and clasps her hands.
"I guess they did the right thing." She then gapes at me, reaches my right hand, and her both hands grip around it.
"They?" She nods.
"They protected you so I'm very grateful that they did what they'd promise."
"Protect me… huh?" I smile and nod.
"By the way, who are you? And why am I here? Also, why did you call me Feaubry?"
"There's so many things that you don't know, my lovely Feaubry. But I'm here to guide you on the right path and also to warn you."
"Warn me?" She nods.
"Feaubry, the thing that will kill you, a man with pitch-black eyes and sharp teeth… The thing that will kill you, a woman with pointed horns and a thin tail. And the thing that will kill you … You won't see it coming. So please stay away from danger." I jerk out of the bench as my eyes glaring at the woman.
"It's not funny, Ma'am. The thi—" I then laugh hysterically while my hands touch my waist.
"I'm serious, Feaubry so please be careful. I don't want you to fall into a hole and I can't let anyone hurt you. You are my lovely daughter."
"I'm not your daughter… And I'm not Feaubry so don't call me that. I need to go!" I exclaim but before I could walk away, she holds my wrist, stopping me.
"Please… listen to your brothers. They know what they need to do." I sigh.
"I only have one brother. It's Jungmin."
"Feaubry—" I look at her with confusion.
"Please, just tell me what's going on and who you are. I don't know what you are talking about." She just sighs and shakes my head.
"I know you're not going to stop from seeking answers. I guess this will be our last meeting. Please be careful my lovely Feaubry. That's what I could wish for and hopefully, this will end soon."
"N-no. You need to tell me what you are talking about!"
"Goodbye, my lovely Feaubry!"
"NO, I—" My words cut off when her pointed finger touches my forehead as the light comes from the tip and suddenly, the surroundings become blurry as my head feels dizzy.
———
My eyes wide as I gasp and jolt out of the bed. I look around to see where I am and it's a relief since I'm inside my room.
"What was that?" I murmur. Promptly, I walk outside my room and glance at the wall clock.
"Six in the morning. I should probably get ready for school." I mumble to myself and walk inside the kitchen for breakfast. Then, I grab the bread out of the cabinet, and some chocolate spread and brewed some coffee. After that, I walk to my brother's room and knock multiple times but he doesn't answer.
"Odd," I whisper. I knock again yet nothing is responding so I open the door and walk inside. My eyes wander his room to search for my brother yet he's not inside.
"Minnie?" I call but only silence answers me.
"Did he get outside the apartment without notifying me? That's a first." I ask myself. I saunter outside his room and straight to the kitchen and eat some breakfast.
After eating breakfast, I wander inside the bathroom, I look into the mirror, staring at my reflection, and heave a deep sigh.
"I don't know what is happening. First, my dream like it happened. The woman inside my dream. Who is she? The thing that will kill me… I won't see it coming? What was that?" I shake my head at my distracting thoughts and slap my cheeks to snap into a reality.
"No… I'm done with all my dreams. It's not important anymore. What's important is I'm with Taehyung. I should take a shower" I murmur before taking off my clothes and stride inside the shower room.
Thereafter, I walk downstairs and straight to the parking lot, and my brow raises when seeing Jungmin with the guys so I walk closer to greet them.
"Hey, guys! Hi Tae." I greet them as I wrap my arms around Taehyung's waist and give a peck on his cheeks.
"Wow, you two have progress, I see. Anyway, we need to go. We have something to do so we'll leave you Minsoo for a while. Bye Minsoo!" Minseok mumbles as they wave at me. But before they could leave, my hand grabs Taehyung's wrist, halting him from leaving.
"Tae, where are you all going?" I ask him but carefully, he pushes my wrist away from my grasp and smiles.
"Somewhere."
"Somewhere? It's not specific." He sighs and ruffles my hair.
"Don't overthink too much, okay? We'll be back so please be careful." He says as he wraps his arms around my waist and gives a peck of my forehead before leaving me behind. My eyes glimpse at them until I couldn't see them.
"They are acting weird." I murmur. I step inside my car and drive to the university.
After fifteen minutes of travel, I park the car at the parking lot, stop the engine before striding outside the car. Then, I glance around, striving to look for Fletcher yet he hasn't found anywhere. And so, I walk inside my room and have a seat beside the window.
"Good morning class." Miss Jesref greets us with a smile. And she begins to explain the lecture for today while I'm glancing at the window, where the students are playing some football. And then, I see my brother with the guys and… Fletcher? And as if they're having a discussion.
"So he knows them… why does he tell me that he doesn't know them? They're hiding something from me." I murmur while looking at them.
I sigh and look at Miss Jesref, who's having a lecture.
"It's getting weirder and weirder," I whisper as I begin to take down notes.
