chapter 50:having feelings for me?!

Mike p.o.v

My heart couldn't settle down now that toby has managed to find out about everything and his dad's death.

I never thought that he would ever come back again after he and his family moved out of his grandfather's empire because something that happened in family.

Flashback

I never thought that he would ever come back again,what's unbelievable is that I didn't even know it was him all this time.

He applied to my school like an ordinary teen but in reality he's a tycoon who owns businesses.

His parents came back years later when his grandfather was in his death bed.

Both werewolves and vampires lived in peace and no one tried to break the boundaries that was kept for years until until a couple were killed by someone.

They were a werewolf and a half human being they fell in love and was about to elope together when suddenly they were caught and was put in trial.

They tried to separate them but it was no vain, as the story goes by. They ended up dead while they were driving away.

After that incident, toby's dad took over and changed the law to separate us and it was heart breaking as some were in relationship and were married but they were forced to get divorced.

Since that day, werewolves and vampires never interacted with one another. If they were caught they were severe punishment.

It seems like there was no choice but the law to be followed.

As years passed by, there was news spreading saying that the king was in a serious condition and soon the son will take over the place.

I never thought that the son would be one time best friend toby, we used to be good friends and enjoy our company until that night.

I overheard him and his dad fighting and he had no choice but to listen to his dad and that night I waited for him at our place to hang out like every night.

We would complete with each other to see who was stronger than the other or go for a swim but I guess that would be a memory that will stay in my head for life.

End of flashback

Now I don't know what to think, I know for sure I never meant to kill his dad but he still mad at me but one thing I don't know is whether he remembers me or not.

Or the fact that he wants to avenge for his dad is blinding him from seeing the truth.

Even though he took over his dad's place,hes probably affected by something that he wants to get it out by taking me as a target.

I want to clear the misunderstanding but his pride is taking over him and that's why he's thirsty for my blood but I hope I could settle it down with him.

After the encounter in the forest with nora and veronica, I found out the truth and I couldn't wait to go and tell toby myself knowing that he wants to battle with me.

"I can't believe you did that how could you?" I asked furiously as I grabbed her by the arms.

"Let me go Mike you're hurting me" she whined as she closed her eyes.

"Why didn't you tell me that you witnessed the incident with me and toby's dad and now he wants to fight me " I said as I got angry by the minute.

I could have killed her and break her neck but I wanted her to tell toby herself.

I grabbed her arm and walked away when veronica told me something i didn't expect to hear.

"If you're going to see lisa am afraid to tell you that toby took her to new York" she said.

"What? New York? But wasn't she in the hospital when I left how's that possible?" I asked looking at her.

She shrugged and walked away from us, I let go of nora's hand and sat down wondering how to get to toby.

I called the jet and walked back to the road where my bike was and started the engine.

"I'll come with you and besides you need witness to tell him the truth right?" She asked as she looked down like she was feeling guilty about everything.

I nodded and she sat on the bike, we rode to the place where the jet was waiting for us and we got in.

The hostess brought us drinks and food and the jet took off. I took a nap as we waited until we reached New York.

We reached there by night and we both booked a hotel room, the following day after we had breakfast we went for a walk to clear my head when I noticed a familiar face in a limo.

The place was crowded and I couldn't get through them,  I tried to get her scent but it was hard and I lost her.

I continued walking around when i got a call from nora. At first i ignored it but she kept calling back so i answered it out of frustration.

"What do you want nora, am busy?" I asked as I kept walking around.

"Where are you mike, I have been looking for you all over the hotel?" She asked as she sounded scared.

"I went for a walk and don't worry I'll be back before you know it " I said as I was about to end the call but she stopped me.

"Are you looking for lisa seriously, she's with toby and she already made up her mind please just forget about her " she pleaded.

"Are you for real now after what you did you expect me to do that, no nora am going to tell her the truth about everything got it" I said as I ended the call before she could protest.

It was almost night when i went inside a club to get a drink because of what was happening now.

As i took a sip of my drink, i looked around when  I spotted a familiar face, it was lisa and toby walking together.

Lisa whispered to him and walked away from him, I took the opportunity to go and talk to toby but he disappeared into the crowd.

As the club got noisy, I walked around to see if I could be able to find either one of them.

As I passed by group of people dancing, I bumped into someone, I immediately apologised and so as she knowing it was a female.

I was surprised to see it was lisa and she looked surprised as well as though she didn't expect to see me as well.

We ended up talking and I apologised for ignoring her but we were interrupted by toby who called security on me.

I ended up confessing that I didn't murder his dad, but the look on her face showed that she had no idea what was going on.

I took her hand so as toby, she didn't move at all and locked at both of us.

"W...what... murder?who was killed?" She stuttered and almost teared up.

"Let go of her hand now Mike and lisa let's go I'll explain everything to you" he told he as he pulled her to his side.

I didn't want her to leave so I pulled her to my side as well but she ended up screaming and pulled her hands from us.

"Let me go both of you, I don't want to hear anything from you" she added and walked away through the crowd.

Toby followed her and I wanted to go after her as well but the guards stopped me.

"You shouldn't have said that to her you know" nora said as she appeared from behind.

"I wanted her to know the truth" I said as I turned to her.

"What truth? Huh! Did you see how confused she looked when you said it? She doesn't have a clue what happened between you and toby" she said as she took a drink from the waiter who was passing by.

"And what do you suggest I do? Wait? No I don't think so, I want her to know the truth " I said as I walked towards her.

"And by truth you mean your version of truth and about toby? She might end up believing him over you and besides you ignored her when she approached you remember?" She asked.

I surely regret not talking to her but now I want to fight for her more than ever.

I cringed my first as I saw how toby grabbed her by the hand and entered a VIP room.

I took nora's hand and pulled her to a dark corner and kissed her roughly with passion as she was taken by surprise.

"Mike stop, what's wrong with you?" She asked as she pulled my face from her neck.

"Don't talk nora" I warned and continued kissing her which she replied and I opened her blouse shirt and continued kissing her neck and her opened chest.

She kissed me with passion as though she couldn't get enough of me.

Though I was doing this out of anger, I hoped that I would get a chance to be with lisa.

"What's wrong? Let me guess you still thinking about lisa after what you did to me come on for peace sake she's not worth it " nora said as she heard my thought.

"Why can't you understand I want her to know the truth how hard is it for you to accept?" I asked as I felt abit guilt for doing this to her.

"Why don't you accept that she'll never love you like I..." she stopped.

"What did you say? You have feelings for me are you seriously kidding me?" I asked as I wasn't expecting to hear from her.

Well this is getting better and better what's next?....
