Toby p.o.v

Having her by my side is the best thing that is happening to me right now,how I wish we could be like this in lifetime and there wasn't going to be anything to separate us.

But I didn't want to hold her back either even if it will hurt me I didn't want to make her stay if she already chose to leave.

I stared at her as she looked peacefully sleeping on my chest, I stroked her face before I closed my eyes to sleep.

The next day I woke up and I saw lisa awake but didn't get up from me, she looked as if she was thinking about something.

I greeted her with a smile and she greeted me back and we talked for a while, I even asked her stay one more night which she kindly declined and I didn't want to push her any further.

I knew once she leaves I might not see her again but I didn't want to act possessive towards her, she might even run away without looking back.

She then went to the bathroom, I laid back and thought of something when my phone rang and it was a call from veronica.

I looked at the door of the bathroom before I answered it.

"Are you awake yet?" She asked.

"Yeah I am, why do you ask?"

"I hope I didn't bother you but I wanted to know about lisa has she decided to stay?" She asked as she sounded worried.

"No I don't think so, she already made up her mind about leaving"

"What? Really? Did you try to persuade her from going?"

"I did what I thought would work but it seems like she's leaving tonight"

"Tonight?are you sure you know we can't let her leave at any cost"

"I already told you lisa isn't the type to listen to me and I don't want to force her to stay so I think it will be best to let her make her own choice"

"I know that but I can't let her leave just like that, I'll try to come and talk to her myself"

"Do you think she will listen after what she found out?"

"I'll try to do whatever it takes to keep her safe" she said then ended the call.

I didn't want her to leave either but I can't force her to stay so all I have to do is to hope that she gets to change her mind and stays with here.

And then left her room to go and get ready for school. I went to the dinning room to have breakfast, as I waited for lisa to come.

Suddenly I heard something breaking and I looked back,I saw miss vera and lisa together, lisa was helping her with the broken glasses shuttered on the floor but mom stopped her and asked vera to clean it up.

I was surprised to hear lisa taking the blame she probably thought that mom was going to scold her but mom didn't care about it rather asked her to join her for breakfast.

She slowly followed her to the dinning room, before she sat down she was amazed by the amount of food on the table,I even heard her stomach growling.

Mom asked her to eat as much as she liked and she was ready to have a food feast. As lisa was grabbing her glass of juice mom asked her if she was going to stay for my party.

Before lisa could say anything I told her that she wasn't going to stay and was leaving.

I lost my appetite and I quickly got up to leave and asked lisa to join me, we both left for school and on the way she said something that made my heart  jump a bit.

She said she was going to stay and leave after the occasion and I couldn't be happier that at least I get to see her one more day before she leaves.

We reached school after parking in we walked together to the hall but we part ways,I had a morning class so I quickly went to my locker to get my history books.

As I searched for it, I felt someone standing near me I turn to see Ashley leaning on the locker next to mine.

"Finally you've decided to show up today" she said sarcastically.

"Yeah I did, what? Do i need your permission to come to school?" I asked her I closed my locker.

"No,you need it but am just curious to know why on earth would a multi billionaire doing in high school you know that you're not a high schooler so what's your intention being here?" She asked curiously.

"I don't think I need to explain myself to you to know everything ok?

"Am just asking because you seem to have changed recently, is it because of the human?I know you toby you used to be cold, heartless creature but now you've completely changed why is that huh?!"

"Whether the reason is her or not it's none of your business so better leave me alone got it?" I asked firmly.

"So it's because of her of course you seem to forget that her kind are the reason why we almost lost your cousin Cora or don't you not care about her?"

I knew what she was talking about but I don't think lisa is to be blamed for it.

"What makes you think that I have forgotten that?"

"Because I can see that by the way you've been acting around her toby by the way I heard that she's leaving is that true?" She asked.

"Yes she is and why do you care about it, it's not like you're friends or something"

"Were not but at least I had hope that you will appoint me as your Luna since she will be out of the picture soon" she smiled.

"What makes you think that I'll choose you?" I asked.

" You better  make it happen and I believe that  you and I are the same, don't tell me that you want want her to be....?"she scoffed and rolled her eyes

"I don't think you'll fit to be one and whatever you thinking you better not do it or else there will be consequence of your action" I warned her as I sensed what she was going to do.

"Well well look who is talking? You haven't even been officially appointed and you are already giving me orders?" She said as she raised her eyebrow.

"Am only warning you Ashley, you better keep your distance from her got that?"

She turned around and looked back at me.

"Seems like you should be worried about her she seemed to be getting closer to your enemy and is enjoying it" she said pointing behind her.

I looked across the room and I saw lisa with mike,she was holding her arms. I didn't like the view one bit so I quickly walked to them.

"Better keep your distance away from her or else...? I growled at him.

"Toby chillax we were just talking ok so stop please " she sai as she tried to pull us away.

"You heard her we were  just talking and who are you to stop her from talking to me huh?" He asked as he got closer to my face.

"That's none of your business you better leave her alone or there will be hell to pay" I said as I pulled lisa's hand and walked away with her....
