Void Mage’s Proposal

Mage? Swordsman? Countless Worlds? Infinite magic power? A student of Lemore Academy Shito Mahinu was forced to go to an academy that was for mages despite wanting to become a swordsman. A person who lacks motivation but likes swinging his sword around. Magic was something that he already grasped so going to a school to learn more about was something he didn’t want to do. And his sister was known throughout the world as the ‘strongest’ mage in existence, but there were more secrets that lurked in the world, in which the public had no idea about. This is a story about an overpowered protagonist, who wants to spend time with his family and journey through the world without using his full power to fight.

Episode 32- Why Is This Guy So Persistent?

Around twenty minutes had passed since they had a conversation in their dorm rooms, Shito and Tenka arrived at the arena together, the arena was still empty and not a lot of students were there, so they sat at the entryway, waiting for everyone to start coming into the arena.

Illayaka and Illya were not with them because they had already started walking toward the room where his sister was sitting. Since they had a battle, they did not want to leave their daughter in the stands alone, and his sister wanted to talk to the two girls about something, so it was the best thing for them to go and be with his sister.

Battles between the students were going to be quick and easy. Even though this time they were going to not use any powerful attacks so they could have some fun, after all, this was a tournament that people should have fun in, so not having fun is a crime.

The two students knew that people paid to come and watch the fights, so the least they could do was give them good fights since they paid money. Being strong doesn't really matter at the moment because the two students heavily hold back when they are fighting the students. Usually, any higher-level beings would fight at one percent of his power because they couldn't handle it but when fighting humans, he had to divide the power he was using by ten percent. Tenka doesn't use all of her powers and she hasn't figured out about any of the broken abilities she had, but one thing she does know is that she can't use most of her abilities that she did know of because even without the powers she unlocks, Tenka was still the strongest student in the school, after Lilith and Lucia. Of course, she was stronger them the two of them combined at full power.

Tenka gently grabbed Shito's hand. "Well, looks like we have to wait a while until we start our battles. Make sure we drag these battles out so we can have fun."

"That's what I was planning on doing, our daughters are watching us so we should give them the best show they could ask for," Shito said. "Of course, we are stronger than all of our opponents but the least we could do is entertain the crowd and our daughter."

"You are right about that, but we should go sit down. Our battles going to take a while to start." she lightly started to pull Shito to the audience seats that were meant for the students. "Sitting down is the best option for us because waiting around will make us tired."

"...."

For a moment Shito was at a loss for words, there was no way that Tenka didn't know that they don't get tired because of all the mana that they possess in their bodies, but even so, he didn't want to tell her all that information yet. Soon she would figure it out by herself.

"....Ok. I completely understand. We can go sit down together."

With those words, they continued to walk to the audience seats to go take their seats. They had a while before the battles officially started, so they could get themselves some rest before the duels began.

In a room full of powerful mages, two little girls sat beside a beautiful woman with long brown hair and beautiful golden eyes. The woman was the older sister of the Shito Mahinu. Sara Mahinu, the strongest mage in the world. The little girls were her nieces, Illayaka Mahinu and Illya Mahinu. The reason they were in the room was that their aunt asked her brother the previous day to send his daughters to the room.

The five great mages were sitting in the room, staring at the little girl who was near the strongest mage. They already knew that Illayaka and Illya were her nieces so nobody said a word about the little girls, but they could see the beauty of the two little girls, and they admired it. They looked like the exact replica of their parents; they inherited the otherworldly beauty their parents had. Looks like that was beyond perfect. Looks that no one could have unless they were direct descendants of the two beautiful people. The looks that they inherited were only unique to their parents.

Sara Mahinu sighed and looked over at her nieces, "I'm glad the two of you came here, I need to talk to the two of you." Her words were soft and gentle, showing that she had no bad intentions.

All of the mages could sense a portion of the mana that was in the girl's body. Most of their mana was being surpassed but not all of it. They had endless potential to keep growing stronger, but their mana was too strong for them now so they had to keep releasing a portion so their mana wouldn't be trapped and pile up inside of their bodies.

By no means was this a terrible thing but the little girls still haven't adapted to the mana that they received. Once they have complete control of the mana in their bodies, they will be able to completely hide their mana.

Lucas Evanstine looked at the two little girls, slightly smirking, "Those little girls have a lot of mana present in their bodies. Shouldn't we talk to someone about them so we could have them trained and work for the governme—"

"I'm not going to work for the government so you can keep your mouth shut." Illayaka quickly interjected, her voice was cold, and she was giving a similar cold look that her father always gives people, "I and my sister will not work for the government, so make sure to be a good boy and sit there and stay quiet. You don't want to lose your life over something so trivial, do you?"

Illayaka's adult side started showing but it was different from her time in the Void Realm. Her tone of speech was just like her father's, and her face was as cold as ice.

…Sister is starting to act like a father. Well, that is to be expected, we are his children so one of us was bound to inherit his personality. From the looks of it, the personality would only activate in battles and when someone is talking about our family. I saw her start acting like this last night when she was fighting with the demons. Illya thought, looking over at her sister whose expression was cold, all the emotions that were once on her face completely disappeared.

"...."

Nothing but silence rained on the area, none of them had anything thing to say, a portion of Illayaka mana was pouring out of her body. Just the thought of hearing someone say something that deals with her living with her family was enough to make her upset.

Selena looked over at Lucas and shot him with a cold glare. "Why are you talking about making these kids work for the government? They are still kids so it's a given they would want to be with their parents."

Sara Mahinu turned her gaze to her two nieces and snapped her fingers. Time came to a complete stop. Only three people could move in the space, and it was Sara and her two nieces.

Even with everything that was happening in the room, she didn't care about any of that because no one would dare to attack or try to take the girls in her presence. There were questions that she needed to ask, so that's what she was going to do.

"That energy you girls are encased in… Did your father do that for you?"

Illya looked at her aunty, smiling brightly, "Do you know about this energy aunty? I know you are strong, but I didn't expect you to know about the energy that surrounded our bodies."

"Of course, I am strong. I can also use the same energy that is encased around your body because of my brother. I know of both the energy of the void and the nihility energy but telling from the insides of your bodies… you girls are compatible with both energies."

The energy from the void was different from the nihility energy. The void was the energy from countless upon countless worlds and higher worlds being destroyed and taking the shape of a void that sucks and destroys anything in its presence counting higher worlds. Nihility was something that could destroy worlds, but it was ineffective on a being that was on a higher dimension than them, unlike the void energy that could instantly one-shot anyone that wasn't resistant to the void, and there was a lot of higher dimensional beings that was scared to go near the void.

But that was supposed to be the rule of how the energies work. There was something different from the energy in Shito's body. His energy was on a higher level than both the void and nihility. Essentially making the energy in his body able to one-shot any kind of being, it doesn't matter if they were beyond the concept of dimensions, they would die if he used the energy from his body.

Illayaka's emotions had already changed back to normal, and she looked up at her aunty, smiling brightly. "We are Papa's children! So, we are bound to be strong. Mama's strong so we have the best parents in the world." Her eyes were sparkling, and her tone of voice was genuine in soft. Every single word that came out of her mouth was from her heart.

"I suppose you are right about that, I guess I don't need to ask you any more questions."

As those words came out of her mouth, she snapped her fingers, and the time resumed.

Everyone in the room continued to talk as if nothing had happened. The five great mages were strong, but they weren't strong enough to realize when the time was being stopped.

The twins hugged their aunty and smiled, "I want to hurry up and watch Papa and Mama fight. When are the battles going to start?" the two girls asked, hugging their aunt closely.

"The battle is going to be starting soon… so please wait for a while…"
