A person who lacks motivation but likes swinging his sword around. Magic was something that he already grasped so going to a school to learn more about was something he didn’t want to do. And his sister was known throughout the world as the ‘strongest’ mage in existence, but there were more secrets that lurked in the world, in which the public had no idea about. This is a story about an overpowered protagonist, who wants to spend time with his family and journey through the world without using his full power to fight.

Episode 33– Even Though His Face is Expressionless... He Sure Has a Sharp Tongue!

"I hope today's fights are interesting. There are not many strong people in this tournament."

Sitting in the audience stands, two familiar figures sat beside each other holding hands. One was Shito Mahinu; he was wearing his standard Lemore Academy uniform, and his jacket sat on his shoulders almost like a cape, holding the hand of his future beloved while watching everyone in the arena walk into the arena to get ready to start the duels for the day. The other was Tenka Vermillion; she was sitting silently beside her beloved, holding his hand tightly watching all the students walking around.

None of the students in the arena stood any kind of chance against him, so they were not worried about fighting anyone. Thus, the reason they sat calmly in their seats while their gazes were on the other contestants. Of course, he really wanted to fight with Lucia because she was the strongest student in the school. Even if she stood no chance against him, he could feel an aura around her body that separated her from all the students in the arena and he was going to see what it was.

Training or exercising wasn't needed for them to win, they didn't try to put themselves through it. On the days that they didn't have to fight they were going to spend their time with their daughters and training would take up most of their time.

"Are you ready to get this fight started?" he asked, looking over at his beloved, there was no reason for him not to ask the question, after all, they were about to head into battle.

…He knows he doesn't have to ask me that type of question, but he still does it anyway. Well, it's not like I mind. From what my mother told me it is hard to come by a man that would genuinely care for you, so I should appreciate the things he gives me.

Those were her thoughts as she looked directly into Shito's eyes. She was practically face to face with him and she slowly leaned in, and the two lips overlapped.

A fuzzy feeling was sent down her body. Even though she was embarrassed to be kissing him in public, which made the feeling all the better for her. She was overcoming the embarrassment of kissing someone in public so she was slowly abandoning her thoughts of what everyone else would think of her.

Tenka slowly broke the kiss and looked at her beloved, "I'm ready… so there is no need for you to ask me those types of questions."

"…Ok.'' Shito replied, looking around the arena, trying to see if Lilith and Lucia had arrived. He wanted to see if they were there to watch his battle because, after all, he had the upper hand against Lucia because she knew her fighting style. "What do you think the other two girls are doing, they still haven't arrived in the arena.

"They should be here as soon as the battles start, so we just have to wait for them to arrive… that is if they decide to come but putting that aside the assassin is coming so pay attention."

As soon as those words came out of her mouth, the announcer appeared in the center of the arena. He didn't use any magic because he was fast enough with his physical speed.

The announcer's real name was Shiba, and he was a well-known mage. He was around and helped Sara Mahinu around the school. Their friendship went back for a while because he was the only one who helped her in her time of need. No romantic feelings were between the two; they just spent time together as friends.

Unlike any of the other days his messy shoulder-length hair color was platinum blond, and his eyes were ruby red. Shiba always wore a disguise that made him seem normal… in his disguise, he wore black shades and had black hair.

"Woooow! He is handsome isn't he!"

All the people in the audience seats shouted. While he was really a beautiful man Shito's beauty was to a higher degree, but there was really no need for them to compare with each other because he was too old to go after his woman, and even if he did, Tenka would reject him because she had no interest in any other man. Only one person could move her heart and it was Shito Mahinu.

Wow, I knew he was hiding some kind of secret, you could practically feel the mana radiating off his body. From the looks of his mana… he is most definitely stronger than the five great mages and there is no debating it. He might be around the elder demon's level.

Just from the looks of his mana, if a person was stronger, they could see what he was capable of and Shito could see that if every one of the stars were to fall into the world, he would be able to destroy them. Galaxies or nothing could handle an attack from him. Be it higher dimensional beings he could destroy them with his power.

With that being said, no one in the world was as strong as Sara except for her little brother. The reason being that she herself was beyond all sorts of dimensions. So that meant not a single lower-dimensional being could touch her.

Sara Mahinu was a person who transcended space-time, a person that could create higher dimensions and higher worlds. The energy she had inside her body was directly from the void because that's what her brother gave to her. Given the current level of her strength, one couldn't really tell if she was above the void or not.

At the current moment no one really had to use any kind of abilities because they were at a time of peace, so mercilessly slaughtering each other's races was no longer necessary.

But not all people liked the time of peace, for example, the demons would always start evading the human world to cause unnecessary problems, but it was also understandable to a certain degree because of the mysterious person that killed the previous demon king. Everyone knew it was someone from the human world because the spirits were not confident enough to evade the demon world even though they were strong.

Shibai took a quick look around the arena, "Team Phoenix and Team Tupas, come up to the stage and prepare for battles!" He shouted through the mic.

The two teams got up out of their seats and started walking towards the arena to get their fight started. They were the opening battle of the day, so they were going to make it the best battle. It was two plain-looking boys, just ordinary-looking people. About normal in every aspect of a human being. They noticed the red badges on their shirts and noticed that they were second-year students.

Every single student had a badge on their uniform. The first-year students had white badges that had the number one on them, which made sure everyone knew the difference between the students—the second year had the red badge with the number two. The third year had a gold badge with the number three. All the students revived a badge when they sent out the uniforms.

Looking at the students walking to the arena, Shibai glanced over at Shito. He already knew that he was the sister of his friend. He was the only trusted person by his sister Sara, so she would tell him insignificant things like that since even if he wanted to do something to her brother he would be instantly killed because Shito was levels above him.

This boy is the sister of my friend… I know that he is strong but even at my level I still can't sense any pressure from him. That is enough to tell me that the current level he is on is far beyond what my power is able to comprehend.

"Are you all ready to start these battles?" Shibai asked, staring at the two teams that were standing ten paces away from each other. He knew that he had to ask that question first because that was protocol. Something that was required of him to do.

"Yeahhh!"

Everyone from the team shouted. Shito was the only person who kept quiet, but he nodded his head as a signal for him to start his battle.

"Let the battle, Begin!"

After saying those words, the announcer disappeared without a trace.

His words alone were enough to rail the crowd up. The battle had started, and they were waiting for a while to see the fights of the contestants.

A single second had passed since Shibai announced the start of the battle. And the two teams stood in front of each other, not making a single move. Although the battle had started, Tupas were conscious about attacking the two because they didn't know how strong they were.

"What are you doing…?" Shito asked, placing his hands in his pockets as he was slightly looking up at his two opponents. "You Guys are second years aren't you, so why are you so conscious of us? …Don't tell me you are scared of us!"

Tenka let out a deep sigh, staring at the man beside her, "Don't say that kind of stuff out loud. Even if they are scared, there is no reason for you to tell that to the world."

The two boys looked at the two in annoyance, there was no way that two first-year students were saying that they were scared. Everyone was proud, and since they were higher in the year that meant they were in a higher rank than them.

First-year students had fewer rights than second-year students and third-year students had more rights than second-year students. But everyone from the TAA class had more rights than all three years, even if a person in that class was a first year. Everything was based on strength.

"Who…? …Who do you think you are calling a scaredy cat!?" The two boys asked in unions. They were upset by the statements of their opponents.

Well… I didn't really say that… but I guess they can interpret it however they like. Not like it's going to make any difference.
