概要

“These two don’t know anything about my hidden power,” he said to himself now as he looked at Gwyneth and Adrian. “They only know about my power through being a member of the royal family. They don’t know how much they’re missing out on,” he thought as he smiled at Gwyneth. “Why don’t you come to a party with the shoe factory owner or her niece and you might see some real vampires,” Raven asked, looking straight into Gwyneth’s eyes. *** Raven grew up in the lap of luxury as a prince in Saphira. He was spoilt by everyone, but then his parents die in a vehicle accident and soon after this Raven finds out that the authorities are searching for his twin brother who was abducted as a baby. Raven decides that he will not share his throne when he turns twenty-one. He finds someone to empower him and turns into a vampire eventually. Will Steven’s gentle and noble nature prevail against his twin brother who is bent on destruction and on winning over Gwyneth, the love of Steven’s life?

When the Jazzman Sings

Because of a deathbed promise to his father, Elijah Peck reluctantly left his friends and successful career in Bridgeport to return to Willowby, Connecticut, the small town of his upbringing, in order to run the antique shop that had been in his family for generations. Now, in just the span of two years, Eli has morphed into a social recluse, isolated in what he believes is a stuffy, suffocating nowheresville. With no thriving gay community at his disposal, and with his entire existence wrapped around the store he never really wanted, Eli's devoted little time to his personal needs. As a result, instead of acting like a man in his mid-thirties, living out his own dreams, maybe even finding love with the right guy, he often feels like just another item in his shop -- a dusty, moldy antique that has seen better days.

But all that starts to change when a stranger moves to Willowby.

One night outside his shop, Eli has a chance encounter with Neville "Gray" Grayson, a wickedly handsome musician who's purposely left the bustle of New York City in favor of quiet country living. Eli is instantly drawn to Gray, and the flirtatious jazzman stirs dormant feelings inside Eli, reinvigorating his hopes for a brighter future. Not only does Gray make Eli feel attractive for the first time in years, but also makes him appreciate small-town life in a way he never has before. And Eli can't help but wonder if Gray's presence also offers the promise of finding much-needed companionship, sexual fulfillment, and perhaps even love ...

I love a good old-fashioned sibling rivalry, especially when the romance is centered around a woman they both want. The characters are written so well that I found myself unable to choose between the two boys at certain points, even knowing when one was clearly the villain!

Ooo, the plot twists had my head spinning! There was shock and jaw dropping at every turn with this one! The secrets and the conflict are so well written that I feel like I'm actually in the middle of it all! So worth the read, but be prepared to not get anything done until you finish this book!

A true family drama filled with twists and turns. There's nothing like a bad sibling rivalry to make a good story. I binge-read this from start to finish and when it was over, I wanted more!
