Married - Alec & Helen

Helen informed her assistants to look after both patients and let her know if there condition deteriorate.

Then she went to take stock of her available medicinal herbs and othe material.

Days went by and both Alec and John recoverd quickly. Alec was up and about within a couple of days while it took more than 3 days for John to regain his consciousness. He thanked Helen for saving him while begrudgingly accepting Alec's win over him this time.

Yes I will pay for the drinks and will get you whatever you want to eat in the tavern next time we go there. John told Alec. He turned towards Helan with a smile and invited her to join them for dinner. She accepted his offer but told him that he is not allowed to drink for atleast a month untill he was healed completely. Which made John sad and Alec burst out laughing.

The two soldiers who helped Helen bring in John visited her place again after 4 day and were shocked to see John recovering at such a fast pace.

15 days later John was able to walk with the help of a crutch. Alec supported him and took him back in a carriage. Befor leaving John reminded Helen about the dinner which they had planned the following week. She smiled and agreed to attend.

In these couple of weeks, Alec and Helen had started developing feelings for each other. And Alec visited Helen's clinic every day to spend some time with John. More importantly to see and watch Helen work and talk to her. She also shared the mutual respect and feeling towards him.

Meanwhile word about the ability of this new healer spread throughout the army and even into the city quickly.

Helen started regularly receiving patients especially, the soldiers from the army and Adventurer's with severe injuries and people from the city who were injured gravely.

Her ability to heal also increased as time went by. Helen & Alec became close and got engaged. Initall, Helen's parents were against this idea as they were afraid if something bad had to happen to Alec during his job, Helen would be left alone and will be heartbroken.

But after a couple of years of knowing Alec they accepted him as a family member whole heartedly.

They got married by the time Helen reached her 25th birth year which was considered too late but keeping her profession in mind it was acceptable as many healers would not get married and dedicate their life to heal and improving their knowledge.

Alec also had reached his 32nd birth year and had planned to get retired from his adventuring job once he reach 40. He wanted to spend the time supporting Helen in her healing center.

Time went by quickly as both of them worked and grew to new heights in their respective fields.

Alec was even offered to serve as a general in the Army which he refused politely saying he had already planned to retire in a couple of years.

It was Alec's 40th birth year. Alec and Helen joined Helen's parents to celebrate this occasion. John who had even became Helen's best friend joined them along with his beautiful wife Elizabeth on this occasion.

John got married 5 years ago with his childhood friend and lover Elizabeth who was from a wealthy merchant family. Inspite of that, she was a well-behaved and a sweet girl.
