An unbelievable Tale !!!!!

Alec sighed and looked towards Helen and asked her, " Do you know about the Adventurer's Acadamy and about the Adventurer's?"

Helen nodded her head and said, " I have also studied in the Acadamy and knows all about it".

Alec was not surprised to here it as most of the famous healers are from healing division of the Acadamy.

He smiled and continued....

"I was escorting a few caravan form the Eastern gold mine and bring it safely to the city. I was accompanied by John here, he looked at John who was laying unconscious but hopefully recovering. "Along with 15 other adventures. We were ambushed by the mountain bandits half way back."

Helen gasped hearing this. She had heard about those cunning and ruthless bandit group who were looting caravan in the eastern mountain range for many years now.

As the mountain area were treacherous and having an area covering over 200 miles, it was near impossible to catch them or to find their location inside the eastern mountain and forest range.

"Our archers took out 3 of theirs, who were hidden in the trees easily before they could start to pile up casualties.

There were more than 120 bandits and we were hard pressed to defend ourselves, outnumbered by almost 8 to 1 after their archers took down 3 of my team members. We some how managed to get the caravan along with the people safely to the mountain pass, a narrow area where only a caravan can pass at a time. By that time we had lost 8 of our team members and managed to kill more than 30 of the bandits.

Me and John stayed behind and blocked the entry forming a tow man flood gate. This was our plan all along to make sure we complete our mission and get the caravan to safety even if we were attacked by the mountain bandits.

We stood there, held them back and gave the caravan along with its people and 9 remaining adventures time to get away from there as far as possible and try to get out of the mountain ranges."

"How did you get away from them? Did you get any backup from the army or the guild?" Helen asked with a look of disbelief. She knew its highly impossible to get away form more than 90 ruthless bandits.

Don't underestimate us Healer, we are adventures. And we, myself and my brother are considered one of the best team in the whole of the Wilden region." Alec Said proudly.

Helen was confused and even a bit impressed by his statement.

"The mountain bandits, a nightmare for those passing through the eastern mountain and forest range will no more be a threat to anyone." Alan said with a wide grin.

What !!??? Helen asked in confusion.

Yes you heard it right. They have been eliminated and none left alive. All the bandits and their leader, nicknamed " Rock, the bone crusher" were killed today.

Helen was absolutely stunned for a moment. Everyone had heard about this bandit leader who can crush bones with his bare hands. Now killed by a couple of adventures!!!

She was silent for a long time while Alec drank a concoction given by Helen's assistant.

"When did your friend John got injured?" Helen asked curiously wanting to know more about the incident.

Alec chuckled. "We always keep track of our achievements and boast about it while we relax and have our evening drink after we completing our job. This time John have to pay up for the drinks as I won." Alec laughed and then grimaced due to the body pain.

"What do you mean?" Helen asked again.

"John here killed 30 bandits and was injured when he was struck by an axe whicle fighting his 30th opponent. I, on the other hand killed 62 of them. More than double of what he did. And even killed the leader."

This time Helen simply sat down and drank a cup of water. Not only her, but the two assistants also stared at Alec for a long time in disbelief and shock.

"Unbelievable !!!!!" Helen exclaimed after more than half an hour and looked at Alec. By that time he had fallen into a deep sleep due to the exhaustion and blood loss.

She looked at her assistants who were still having a dazed expression on their faces.
