Requited

*This is just an add on, it's not really like part of the series more like an alternate way it could have gone, like another world where my unrequited love is requited. So on with it.*

I thought I would always just remain his friend but it started to change without me noticing.

"Nayeon I don't like Jimin anymore don't be stupid" I said while me and Nayeon sat in front of each other in a cafe. A few months back Nayeon moved to Busan, after I came back from New York even I shifted here just to be there for Jimin.

"Yes you do don't lie to me, why don't you confess to him? It's been like more than 2 years y/n" She holds my hand from across, I let out a sigh, there was no point denying to her "I-I am scared to just be a rebound, what if he is not over her? He doesn't even like me like that it's stupid" I was scared of being hurt, what if I end up being his rebound? I'll be left hurt in the end.

(𝙀𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙊𝙑)

"Are you stupid? Jimin has not mentioned her since the time I came here, the photo fame that was out is kept away and you are asking if he is not over her? He might have loved Luna but I always thought you and him were a better match, you both are blind to not see the connection between you." Nayeon said having enough of you denying 

"There is nothing to see there" 

"Oh yeah? So every time he was happy, him calling you first is nothing? You both understanding when something is wrong with each other is nothing? Loving someone and being in love is different, I can love a friend not be in love with a friend."

"Whatever I am going home.." You pay for your coffee and leave, you didn't agree with her, you hoped she was right. You weren't going to make the first move, if he did move on and likes you he'll have to make the first move.

"Hey y/n what's up" you look back and spot Jimin walking towards you, he has changed a lot in the few months since you came back. He now had his hair a pale blonde and he seemed a lot more mature, before he was all fun and happy go lucky kind, he would be oblivious even if the fact hit him in the face but now he seemed so much different from then...it was like that Jimin was a different person, this one was responsible and careful.

"Nothing just met up with Nayeon" You said with an eye roll, remembering your conversation with her "What did she say to get you riled up?" He chuckled, slinging his arm around your shoulder and pulling you close. "Nothing, have you heard of anything called personal space?" You give him a cold stare while he shrugged and let go of you only to jump onto your back "Yah! What the hell Jimin, get your fat ass off me!" You try to shake him off but he holds on tight, his laughter rang near your ear. You smile secretly, happy that he was going back to laughing and smiling and just being happy.

"Oof you are such a pain, at least hold on tight" he wraps his legs around your hips as your hands held them and you make your way to your home with lot of effort, your home was just 5 minutes from the cafe so it wasn't long before you reached "Get off me now, I swear I'll have broken bones because of you one day" "Tch I am making you workout, see you did what many of people can't" He walks to your kitchen and looks for something to eat, one of the few things that never changed was him messing with you and stealing your food.

"So you never told me, what did Nayeon say?" He sits next to you, munching on a mochi "Hey! That is my fav. Why did you take that?" You try to grab it but he straightened his hand upward so you couldn't reach "Don't change the topic y/n" you cross your arms over your chest and huff "Fine she was just being her stupid matchmaker self and telling some crap about you loving me, don't worry I told her you don't" you feel the weight shift next to you and notice Jimin facing you now "And what if I do?"

"Pfft nice one chim you almost got me there" you giggle, you look at Jimin when he didn't join you. He looked serious.

"Wait are you serious-" You blink your now wide eyes "If I am, will this affect our friendship?" He looked at you with a poker face, for the first time you felt it impossible to understand what he was thinking "I don't know? Mostly not? I mean you can't really be in love with me.." You look away not being able to look at him without hoping it was true.

"Why not?" he simply asked "Because...I don't know you always said I am like a sister to you, how can that change suddenly? And L-Luna, you probably still love her" your voice came out little and fragile, opposite of how you usually were. Jimin rests one hand on your cheek and makes you look at him, leaning his forehead on yours he looks straight into your eyes "I was wrong and nothing changed suddenly, you were always special I just took time to figure out why. And Luna will always have a place in my heart, I won't lie about that but she is my past." His thumb softly rubs your cheek as tears fill your eyes "I-I am scared, I don't want to be a rebound. I am scared I'll be heartbroken when you find a girl you actually love and again I'll be left with a one-sided love" you let out your fear not realizing you indirectly confessed.

Jimin grinned "why are you grin-oh" you go back to what you said and realize "You love me?" He asked just to be sure, you nod your head and again try to look away but Jimin held you in place "I thought about it too y/n, when I first started feeling different towards you was when I met you for the first time, the day your dad was there. I thought maybe you were like a rebound because of how Luna was but these past 2 months I gave it a lot of thought, I am over her y/n. I would never do that to you" he leans away and smiles "Let's take it slow, when you are sure only then I'll ask you out. So let's just sit back and enjoy the moment we have now" Jimin said, you smile and hug him.
