Section 65: The Runaway Night

"Easy peasy, Daisy" I kneeled to the ground as I put down my handgun. "We don't want to hurt anyone".

I signaled Tristan to put his handgun down as well, he bit his lips as he threw his weapons on the hard floor. Candice hides behind me, frightened by Daisy's sudden betrayal. Chrysant is still being held by Daisy, the gun is pointed at her right temple. Daisy's hand trembled as she held the handgun on the teenager's head.

"Do you really want to do this?" I raised my hand. "Killing an innocent teenager out of nowhere?".

"I have to! Vladimir said he found he can help me find my husband and son! If I kill this girl, he said he will reward me plenty" Daisy stuttered nervously as she pointed the gun at Chrystant's head.

"Don't you dare touch her-".

"Tristan, Calm down" I calmed the angered geek boy. "Everyone is still sleeping, we wouldn't want to invite unwanted attention".

Tristan nodded heavily toward my suggestion and raised his hand.
