Section 141: The Rival Hardship

The moment he uttered those words so easily, I almost felt like I just heard something foreign coming out from his mouth. It's unusual to hear him say such words, especially that he can be considered quite possessive of Aria's being. He always maintained a safe distance from her, but his eyes still search for her figure subconsciously.

This man still falls over heels for the scarlet-haired girl, he just doesn't want to admit it. Now he just said out of nowhere that he wants to leave. If Aria were to know this, she would be shocked. I would like to know the reason for his departure from our group, that's if he wanted to tell me that is.

I asked the nonchalant man who leaned on the wall with his eyes closed. He sighed and looked at me, this time in annoyance. The man pulled my collar toward him when I approached him.
