Section 112: The Prince Flirts

Joel was dumbfounded the moment his parents tried to drag him out from the hotel. I saw his confused expression as his parents tried to persuade him to leave us. Tristan and Chrysant glared at Joel's parents, annoyed by their persistence. Joel tried to calm his parents so that it won't cause any bad blood between us.

"They saved me, I can't just leave them" Joel frowned.

"Nonsense! They're all barbaric! Especially that girl and the little boy" Mrs. Maria aimed her hostility toward Kallen and me. 

I could feel my lips curt into disappointment, but I shouldn't overstep my boundaries. Joel seems shaken up by his parent's ultimatum, but he's already mature enough to make his own decision. 

"Listen, they just saved your life! Mum!" Joel growled angrily at his mother. "Why are you being like this? They're good people".

"They killed people!" Mrs. Maria slapped her son's cheek. "Don't pretend you don't know! I heard it from that boy's mouth!".
