Georgina's sadness

At 1:00 AM, our family left the hospital, although they had insisted on staying. I asked them to rest at the apartment, as I wanted some time alone. Finally, they respected my decision and left, but Leonardo approached me with a tired expression.

"Do you want to see our baby?" he asked.

I furrowed my brows. "So, our baby can be seen? I mean, does he already look like a baby?" I wondered, curious because so far, I thought our fetus was still very small, maybe not resembling a typical baby at only four months. I hadn't bothered to find out the size of a four-month-old fetus.

"Dr. Grace kept it... It's a boy... And we need to choose a name before burying him," Leonardo explained in a dispirited voice.

His explanation immediately triggered my imagination about the little boy who might have resembled him. Yet, this child never made it into the world, and I would never see him in this world.

"I'll get him if you want to see him," he said.
