Unbound Familiar

An avid gamer nerd's dreams come true in another brutal yet lucky? fashion. Follow him as he does his best not to die in laughably humiliating ways, all while trying to escape his abrupt and unwanted servitude. Will his knowledge of the world he finds himself help him succeed? Will he return home? Will evolve past his title of 'Dog'? Read and find out! This will be another multiversal world-hopping story, similar to my other one, EBW. I'll not spoil the surprise of the first world, but Skyrim will eventually be involved... And no, I'll not be adhering to plot, instead destroying it and hopefully not butchering the original story in the process. Aragor'in in

Michael continues sailing until he spots some more winged Daedra in the distance. He and his ghost crew manage to kill all of them but one, who'd kept its distance and escaped back in the same direction it'd come from... He, of course, followed, which led him to where he was now, sailing towards a large fortress that'd started launching rocks and other projectiles from what he could only guess to be catapults and trebuchet.

He was curious of their origin when some projectiles exploded with various effects upon striking the magma around the ship, but his curiosity could wait until he'd wiped out this daedric-whatever-settlement.

"FASTER! APPROACH FASTER!" Michael exclaims, despite the fact that they were already going full speed.

Some of his crew drag the cannons on deck to the front of the ship, pointing them in front of them before tying them down and beginning to fire them.

*BAANG!!*

Whatever the Daedra were expecting, cannons had apparently not been it as figures throw themselves off of the black stone walls before the ghostly projectiles strike them, cracking some and causing others to crumble.

One of the enemy's fired rocks managed to strike the sail of the ship, but it just goes completely through, causing the struck area to dissipate momentarily before reforming itself. It did drain some of Michael's mana for the repair, but he wasn't all that worried about it. He still had a shit ton of mana potions in his inventory to use, should it come down to it.

Michael noticed that the enemy's attacks were getting closer and closer to hitting the deck, so he turns the ship and revealed its broadside to the fortress, allowing the many Starboard cannons to begin reigning fire down upon the fortress, actually managing to destroy the large black spire standing proudly high above the walls... At least, it did...

Hundreds of Daedra were killed by the first volley, but again, Michael was forced to manoeuvre the ship to avoid being struck... This time, pointing the Portside cannons at the enemy...

The enemy Daedra knew exactly what was going to happen as he did this, having already suffered one volley of cannon shots. They all took cover, uncaring of the plight of their allies and quickly crumbling defences in the meantime.

Some large Daedroths equipped with large shields barely covered their allies, the cannon shots were not powerful enough to break completely through the daedric shields... Michael was sure they would once he got [GhostShip] to Rank 3 though.

Regardless, with the enemy forces already in shambles, he turns the ship and sails directly towards the shattered and cracked fortress, intent to crash it and charge them. Kunkka only used the Ghost Ship to crash into things in the game, so he wanted to see just how effective it would be for him.

The few cannons on the front kept firing, but it wasn't nearly as overwhelming as the full broadsides the fortress had already received, allowing the enemy to recollect themselves and prepare for the crash landing... They actually thought that Michael was stupid for giving up his naval superiority, unaware of the damage the crashing Ghost Ship might cause.

With thousand of Daedra gathered in the fortress's ruined courtyard, they prepared to receive the enemy once they crashed the ship into the shallow rocky area surrounding the island, or the shore if they got lucky enough.

"COME GET SOOOME!" Michael roars as the ship approaches the fortress, seemingly ignoring the sharp rocks it was going over. Once it reached the shore, the whole thing abruptly explodes, causing a shockwave of water to expand outwards, knocking many Daedra off of their feet.

*CRAAAAAAAAAASH!*

While the ship imploded on itself, Michael and the ghostly crew streamed forward from the wreckage, completely unaffected by the crash landing.

Michael honestly felt like Aragorn leading the ghost army in the Lord of the Rings as he sprinted forward, ebony sword bared. His ghostly crew hadn't vanished after the destruction of the Ghost Ship, probably because he was still providing magic to the spell.

"AARRRRRRRGGGGHHHHH!" Michael and the enemy Daedra all cry out as they crash into each other, his ghost crew also giving soundless roars as they crash into the enemy.

Michael casts "Winter's Curse!" on one of the backline Daedra just before the two sides clash, causing many Daedra to abruptly turn around and start attacking the unfortunate victim, leaving them completely defenceless as the ghost crew runs them through.

It was obvious that his ghost crew was way outmatched by both the daedra's individual strength and equipment, but the initial charge had set the mood for the battle, putting the enemy on the defensive as they desperately try to recover from the lost clash. All while Michael applied pressure of his own, unleashing powerful spells left right and centre.

Torrents explode from the scorched ground, sending Daedra flying from the extremely high-pressure water.

Fade Bolts jump between each Daedra, harming them while drastically reducing the strength and speed of anyone hit.

Arcane Curses fall on the backline mages, causing them agonizing pain and continual damage that only gets worse with every spell they try to cast.

Spatial Scatters disintegrate groups of enemies that were stupid enough to approach him during his rampage.

TideBringer decimates large swathes of the enemy force with each attack, sometimes even cleaving fifty of so Daedra in half all in one go, causing some to simply flee in terror at the display of absolute and unadulterated violence.

This combined with Essence Shift and Fiery soul made Michael untouchable by any Daedra in the fortress. Even after his ghost crew had finally been destroyed, he continued his slaughter, not allowing for any surrender or pleading as he bloodied his blade on the enemy.

Michael's flaming form blurs as he runs his sword through the stomach of the last remaining enemy, a Dremora mage who'd been hastily summoning Atronachs in order to stall for time... Not that he'd gotten it.

He'd thought that was the last of them, but he realises that this is not the case once he turns around and finds himself face to face with a heavily armoured Xivilai, who was wielding a two-handed Daedric sword in one hand and channelling a dark spell in the other.

Michae raises a flaming fist that was enhanced via Fiery Soul towards the Xivilai, "You've got big balls wanted to fight me alone like this... Or maybe you've just run from me until you couldn't anymore? Is that why you're the last one left?" he taunts, loving the way the Daedra's face scrunches with utter fury.

"I AM TAHNAR! GENERAL UNDER MEHRUNES DAGON! AND I WILL SLAUGHTER YOU HERE WITH THE REST OF MY SLAIN KIN!"
