Lu Guani was not always
Lu Guani wasn't always a sad husk that only knew depression and violence.
She was a very different person when Hui Moxiang first met her. And that was a very different time from ages past.
Hui Moxiang was just a kit at the time, not even reaching her first century of life when her Second Brother Hui Ziyun brought her home one day.
She was a wide-eyed thing with an expressed that reminded Hui Moxiang of prey rather than predator. But despite her shy and nervous demeanour, Lu Guani was from a very well-respected demon clan, unlike the Huis at the time.
By then, Hui Moxiang's mother had already passed and Hui Ziwang had been saddled with all the responsibilities of raising the excitable kits including herself.
