Chapter 5:Karma

𝙹𝚊𝚗𝚞𝚊𝚛𝚢 𝟸𝟸 𝚂𝚊𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚍𝚊𝚢

It was a little over a week since her first day of school. It was tiring but Aliyah liked it.

Aliyah doesn't like to admit it at times but she was a big fan of school. To avoid being called a nerd.

She had to act like how she used to in elementary years as a SAⵊNT

Aliyah was so used to being the bully or the bad kid that portraying a saint was gonna take some time to get

used to

Aliyah was heading to lunch when someone was calling her

"Hey E how's it-" Aliyah is interrupted by Emily

"Zuri is in the hospital," Emily says

Aliyah was is in shock

Aliyah sped into the bathroom where she continued talking

"How did that happen?" Aliyah asked

"It was a fire in the apartment killing lots of people including grandma but I was able to get Zuri out and in the hospital there's... A chance she won't make it," Emily says you can hear the sadness in her voice

Aliyah hung up and is broken entirely

Aliyah looked in the mirror at herself

"You know how I said karma was gonna get you? Well I didn't mean it to go this far," Alexandra says with a sheepish smile

Aliyah can see a copy in the mirror but the difference was they were two different people

Aliyah punched the mirror shattering it and cutting her hand

Aliyah was mad at herself for not knowing about this. But Aliyah was also mad at Emily for not telling me

Aliyah then used her knife and cut a small fragment of the sink

Aliyah felt her old personality coming back not only that but her quirk was getting the best of her

Aliyah saw the shattered glass on the floor her eyes were turning yellow and and she could feel the sparks again

'Everything is so blurry. What is that?' Aliyah thought she saw something to by and through her knife at it's direction

It was the wall

Aliyah heard soft breathing and went to one of the stalls

Aliyah kicked the door open luckily not breaking the door

Inside was some first-year girl who was terrified she wasn't using the bathroom she stuck in there cause she was scared

"Listen don't tell anyone nothin about this or drama will come towards you you understand," Aliyah says

The first year nod and leaves immediately

Aliyah was in the stall where she was calming down

"Aliyah you need to calm down you saw what happens when you let your emotions get the best of you," Alexandra says

"Just shut up I don't need another worthless lecture in my head," Aliyah says

"Aliyah i'm tryna help you here before-" Alexandra was interrupted by Aliyah Slamming her fist on her head

"GOD JUST SHUT UP," Aliyah shouts slamming her fist on her head

Aliyah Was zoned out and was in class

Aliyah looks around and sees people writing notes

Aliyah is confused about the core

"Well glad to see your back welcome to math class," Alexandra says surprisingly

'Math class? we're in the last period? what in the ever-loving hell is going on here?' Aliyah thinks

"Well, Ms.Sheresko you really seem so into this lesson why not answer this math equation?" Ectoplasm says

Aliyah gets up and walks to the board

'Now let's see here... I learned this in seventh grade easy,' Aliyah think

Aliyah writes the answer

Ectoplasm looks at it and nods in approval

"Who else got the answer right?" Ectoplasm asked

Momo and Shoto raised their hands

"Interesting?" Ectoplasm says

There's a reason this guy said that. Because Aliyah's not actually the top student instead she's average in schoolwork but on tests, Aliyah gets hundreds, yeah she ain't scoring

Aliyah walks back to her seat

Well good thing she doesn't raise her hand because participation may be key to a good report card but still, you wouldn't want to be a know-it-all

Aliyah is still scared she will be targeted to answer questions and if she does she's gonna get her nerd genes back which she doesn't want

Aliyah takes out her communication notebook to talk with Alexandra

Aliyah writes

"Well you see while you were dealing with karma I took control of your body," Alexandra says

"I was trying to do it for the better of you. You're not mentally right after what E said," Alexandra says

Aliyah writes

"I know but look on the bright side it's a Saturday so we can visit E and go to the hospital once she possibly sends the location," Alexandra sends

'Yeah why wouldn't she send the hospital location,' Aliyah thinks while looking at ectoplasm

"Yeah why wouldn't she," Aliyah says

꧁𝑇𝑖𝑚𝑒𝑠𝑘𝑖𝑝꧂

Soon as classes were over Aliyah went to her dorm and started spamming Emily

Aliyah was in her room when Emily sent a location of the hospital Zuri was in

Once Aliyah got she got dressed in civilian clothes and begged Aizawa to go

"Fine you can go," Aizawa says and Aliyah speeds out and follows the location Emily sent her

She went to the receptionist and asked

"Hey is a Zuri Sheresko here? Who looks like this?" Aliyah asked showing the receptionist photos of her

"Yeah, she's in room 403 are you a relative?" The receptionist asked

"Yeah, i'm her sister," Aliyah says

"And she's with me?" A voice said it was Ken he came from the elevator and was bringing Aliyah along

The receptionist let her go as they were escorted there

"Is Emily in the room?" Aliyah asked

Ken was hesitant with her question

The elevator door opened and they left and Aliyah started walking

"Well no Emily couldn't come," Ken says

"What do you mean? 'Emily couldn't come well cause she's working," Ken says

Aliyah was pissed off

"You mean Emily didn't even bother to come to the hospital and her sister is dying," Aliyah says clenching her fist

The two were at the door where Zuri was

"Emily was here earlier today when the fire happened," Ken explained and opened the door

Once the two went in Aliyah saw Zuri was wrapped up in bandages the only thing you could see was her eyes

Aliyah was in shock Kana and Domino there

"You even you two are here and Emily's not perfect," Aliyah says her voice cracking

Aliyah hugged Zuri who was barely blinking

"Hey Zuri it's Aliyah i'm here," Aliyah says she can feel tears forming but tries to hold them back

"Sorry Emily couldn't be here she just has hero stuff of course," Aliyah says

Zuri blinks slowly and the heart monitor goes slower and slower

"Um... I came here to say I love you. And that you will always be the greatest sister I ever had no matter if you are my step-sister," Aliyah says

Zuri's heart rate is going slower and slower so is her blinking until it stops

"I love you...and Emily so much....tell mom I...love her," Zuri says with her last breath as tears fall from Aliyah's face onto Zuri's

Aliyah was holding her hand and felt her have no strength left

There's no more beeping from the monitor just instead it seems it shows her heart stops

Ken went out and started shouting for some doctors to come into the room

"HEY WE NEED SOME DOCTORS HERE," Ken shouts outside

Aliyah was crying and saw a note on the desk beside Zuri

Aliyah took it along with a few comics on the desk

Doctors finally came in and tried doing electric shock but it didn't work she was gone

Aliyah was outside with everyone they were in the elevator it was quiet

"Well at least I had nothing to do with this one," Domino jokes but Kana shakes her head

"Not now Domino," Kana says punching her in the arm

They all left the elevator and were walking out of the building when they saw

"Hey, why are you walking out," Emily says

"Where were you?" Aliyah asked with rage in her voice

"Well I was at my job and I'm finally on break so we go in and-" Emily was interrupted again

"She's dead," Aliyah whispers

"What?" Emily asked

"She's freaking dead and bitch you weren't there the entire time heck do you even care?" Aliyah asked

Emily felt guilty right at that moment

"Of course, I care its just I had work and sadly I couldn't make it in time," Emily says

"I don't even care i'm going back to UA," Aliyah says speeding off and dropping the comics on the floor for Emily

"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you," Emily said to herself

Emily's friends understood the situation so they really couldn't be mad

Aliyah was taking the bus when she decided to read the note

Aliyah was crying softly so no one would hear

Aliyah also put her hood on to cover herself

Once her destination was there she sped to UA to the common to get water then her dorm door where she sat outside of

Aliyah was leaning against the door and smiling

"God who would've thought karma really does exist?" Aliyah says

"Well I did and I know you are fragile but you need to understand that everything happens for a reason," Alexandra says

Aliyah puts her AirPods in

"Yeah everything happens for a reason like me bullying people in middle school, getting expelled, getting into UA, and even losing my sister it all happens for a reason," Aliyah says leaning her head against her door as she slides down

"Everything happened because of me," Aliyah says

Aliyah can feel her quirk activating the yellow eyes becomes noticeable and Aliyah sighs

"Karma is a bitch, one no bigger than the one I've been acting like," Aliyah sighs

"Hey Aliyah I and the other girls are having a slumber party in my dorm and I was wondering if-." Mina was interrupted by Aliyah

"No, i'm not into slumber parties and will never be into it," Aliyah says

"Oh come on don't be a party pooper and join I promise it will be fun," Mina tries to convince Aliyah

Mina drags Aliyah to her feet

"And I promise you if you shut the hell up and leave me alone I'm not scared to cut your face," Aliyah says pointing her knife at her neck

"Okay okay fine if you don't want to come that's all good," Mina says walking back to her dorm

Mina opened the door to her dorm

"You know it will be really funny," Mina says

"I SAID SHUT UP," Aliyah shouts and throws a knife at Mina's head

In fright, Mina hid behind her door and slammed it shut

Bakugou and Kirishima just missed the knife as it hit the wall

"Hey smart-ass watch it," Bakugou says

"How about you move out of my way asshole," Aliyah says taking out the knife

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?" Bakugou asked pissed off

"What do you have gunk in ears? I said next time move out my way asshole," Aliyah says getting in his face as she took her knife out of the wall

Kirishima starts holding back Bakugou

"Woah look at that. Kirishima you know you should put goldilocks on a leash before he goes out and give me rabies," Aliyah says walking to her dorm

Bakugou only got even angrier

"Woah Aliyah what happened you were nicer before," Kirishima says

Aliyah stops

"Well, I grew and found out how much of a pain life is," Aliyah says and goes into her dorm.

"Well what a great way to start," Alexandra says

"Yeah and it looks like i'm back," Aliyah says

"No, you just returned to how you were in your elementary years. You should be improving instead your actions are deteriorating," Alexandra says

"Why do you care anyway? Your just some useless personality I created you nothing but just some extra puzzle piece," Aliyah says

"You don't mean that," Alexandra says

"Of course, I do cause it's who I am," Aliyah says

I didn't know till now but death and karma are a lot alike. They both are known as punishment for your sins. But for me they didn't just punish me they rewarded me something... Or should I say, someone
