Gu Xin Ye noticed that there were a few pairs of eyes watching her as she walked with Qin Zhan into the building. She pretended as if she did not notice their inquiring eyes and walked towards the elevator with Qin Zhan following her closely.
The elevator stopped in front of them with a ding. Gu Xin Ye was bout to walk into the elevator when she noticed Lin Qiao walking out of the elevator.
"Xin Ye." Lin Qiao's eyes lit up when she saw her friend in front of her. Lin Qiao was a bit worried that Gu Xin Ye might have left the lobby when she came over.
Fortunately, Gu Xin Ye was still around.
"Hey, I was just looking for you," Lin Qiao said. "Fortunately, you are still here."Lin Qiao shifted her gaze to Qin Zhan and smiled. "Chef Qin, hello."
Qin Zhan gave Lin Qiao a nod. "Assistant Lin, hello."
Lin Qiao stepped aside to let both Gu Xin Ye and Qin Zhan into the elevator.
