Gu Xin Ye averted Qin Zhan's gaze.
Each time that she looked at this man, she would be reminded that her time was running out and she would have to talk to Qin Zhan about her job offer.
"You seemed a bit absentminded. Don't pretend that you are not. I have been observing you for a while," Qin Zhan said. "Something been bothering you?"
Gu Xin Ye hesitated, not wanting to tell him what she had in mind. "I'm sorry. I won't let my feelings affect my work."
The frown on Qin Zhan's fade deepened. He did not mind if Gu Xin Ye was spacing out for a few minutes. After all, even if her mind was somewhere else, Gu Xin Ye was still doing her job helping him set up the stall quite well.
His lips opened and closed. Qin Zhan seemed to want to say something else, but the look on Gu Xin Ye's face prevented him from saying anything.
Gu Xin Ye looked as if she did not want to say anything.
